Took me a hot minute to get to this, but here we are \o/

The Last Unicorn - kind of like a top 5 of all time, I just love this movie to pieces.

The Core - it's so awful it's entertaining XD

John Wick - The world building, the kind of grounded in reality things they did with the action scenes, while still making Wick completely unrealistic.

YuYu Hakusho: Poltergeist Report - the lone anime movie at my local Blockbuster some like, 30 years ago. The fateful encounter that started it all for me in terms of anime.

Clue - Tim Curry at one of his finest, hilarious - multiple endings! Complete insanity, loved every second of it and I usually despise live-action comedies because I get second-hand embarrassment so easily, but this movie is perfect.

2-2025 List usage: Thoughts welcome- is it being used? This project is my little contribution to our space here on tumblr, having seen comments about difficulties finding black authors and artists. I'm familiar with an incredible number of creators now; I'm so proud of us. I choose to do this unsolicited and unfortunately, this may not be a needed solution. I formatted the list about a year ago and have maintained it, which I think is something important and unique about it (every entry checked about once a month), hoping it might be beneficial. Many of you send thanks for being added to the list. But within the last year, less than five individuals have shared with me that they've actually used it (likes and reblogs aren't necessarily indicative of that) and very, very few have either asked to be added or sent additional writers/artists my way. Those requests have been clear virtually since the beginning. Without feedback I assume the list isn't impactful and that's fine. I'll wait until the end of March to decide whether to continue. Love you all! ❤︎
