Dick Grayson (25-29ish yo)

Wears contacts all the time when he’s out. His sight used to be perfect up until puberty. Only wears prescription glasses when he knows he’ll spend the entire day wearing sunglasses – has prescription on them (he does have an emergency pair of regular glasses though).

Has a deep set of dimples. More visible when he’s a dehydrated raisin of a human being. He has a special bottle for just water to force himself to drink more.

Is left handed. His siblings bother him for that matter when he accidentally elbows somebody while eating.

Is “silently” addicted to energy drinks. Has tried to switch to other beverages but ultimately always goes back to energy drinks.

Sings in the shower, has a genuinely good singing voice. Pretends to be shy when people suggest doing karaoke.

Has chronic wrist pain due to a bad fracture.

Is a minimalist. Hates clutter and frequently gets rid of things like clothes, unnecessary gadgets, kitchen utensils etc.

Loves rock climbing and bouldering.

Has pockmarks on his cheeks. Had tried different products to make them fade away, but gave up and accepted his fate.

Uses a lot of post-it notes around his apartment.

Jason Todd (22-24ish yo)

Jason is the only one with brown eyes. You cannot convince me otherwise. Don’t try to.

He’s the best cook out of all the guys. Finds it very therapeutic. Genuinely enjoys making meals especially if others can stop by for dinner or pick up his food. (always makes me think of those pics of him and Dick in the kitchen in Gotham Knights!)

Has type 1 diabetes, uses a pump. (As mentioned here!)

Has a private library stamp for his book collection because any time someone visits him, somebody borrows (steals) books from him.

Plays the violin, self-taught as an adult. It’s his “safe” hobby that convinces his neighbours that he’s just a regular guy.

Has a full arm tattoo sleeve, it’s his way of dealing with body dysmorphia and body image issues. His tattoos include book references, fav movie characters and different symbols for all of the siblings (not their super hero stuff though, for safety reasons).

Has reading glasses. (As mentioned here!)

Hates arugula, loves Italian cuisine. He is not afraid of carbs (his glucose monitor states otherwise) and makes noodles often.

Has wavy hair but doesn’t use proper products for his texture.

Has veryyy straight teeth naturally. Others are jealous.

Tim Drake (20-21ish yo)

Journals. Even when he’s severely sleep deprived. It’s his way of dealing with heavy stuff, but also his archive in case he goes missing.

Has a nintendo switch. Doesn’t really use it but he knows that Damian steals it that’s why he keeps it instead of selling it.

Has a proper skin care routine. It includes dying his hair dark every 4 weeks cause he has gray hairs due to stress.

Uses ktape regularly. Struggles with chronic back pain and uses a foam roller.

Is vegan. Doesn’t try to convince other peeps to switch to veganism knowing that they are barely capable of making food for themselves. Will make an exception and eat meat if it’s a meal prepared by somebody close to him.

Is a huge music fan, listens to music often. Mostly metal, but also pop, rap. Doesn’t really discriminate music genres.

Loves playing board games. Is the type to bring board games to social meetings of sorts in case people want to play.

Has a very pleasant, contagious laugh. Rarely laughs out loud, but those who know his laugh try hard to make him laugh for that matter.

Has really sparse facial hair. Would like to grow out a stache or beard but cannot.

Blushes very easily. Doesn’t like it. Despises cold temperatures for that matter.

Dream Team : Profiles

A/N : Really excited to get back into writing and posting. It's been tough, but I've survived and I'm so ready to come back stronger and better than ever 💕 Stay tuned for some good things coming! And I hope you enjoy this mini series 🥰

Y/n : Has known Jeongin since they were kids, their moms were, and still are, best friends. Met Mae and Kayla first year of university when they were assigned a dorm together, now they live in an apartment off campus. Has been in an on again off again relationship with Heeseung for a couple years, but she's finally done with him ... or is she?

Jeongin : Y/n's childhood best friend, though he's been in love with her since high school, and has been trying to show her he'd be just as good as a boyfriend as he is a friend. His other best friends/roommates, Seungmin and Felix, love to tease him about his feelings, but they both secretly hope it works out.

Kayla : Lives with Y/n and Mae after meeting them when they all ended up in the same dorm during first year. They all clicked and tend to forget they had a fourth roommate during first year. Has been dating Seonghwa since his confession on graduation day in high school. Outsiders of the group see the couple as the parents of the group, but those who know them, know that they are just as chaotic as everyone else.

Seonghwa : Lives with Wooyoung and a couple other friends of theirs. Honestly didn't expect Kayla to accept his confession but is happy she did, and now he does everything to make sure she doesn't regret it (as if she would). Including trying to set up one of his friends with Y/n after Kayla expressed major disdain for Heeseung.

Mae : Lives with Kayla and Y/n. Is super protective of both of them, and is the one who said they should get an apartment just the 3 of them. Started dating Wooyoung after weeks of sexual tension arguing that ended when she told him he's hot when he's angry, and the rest is history.

Wooyoung : Lives with Seonghwa and a couple others. Will deny the enemies to lovers trope and say it was weeks of flirting and foreplay. Also tried to set Y/n up with one of his friends (a different one than Seonghwa did), but had no idea Seonghwa was trying the same thing. Unfortunately Y/n still chose Heeseung.

Seungmin : Lives with Jeongin and Felix. Teasing is his love language, but he won't admit that. Actually really enjoys the weird group of friends he ended up with. Is always tired but that still doesn't stop him from gaming all night with Felix (and Jeongin sometimes).

Felix : Lives with Seungmin and Jeongin. Also loves to tease but is more open about his wish for Y/n and Jeongin to get together. Despite spending most of his spare time playing video games, he is still quite popular with the ladies (and the men). Just enjoying life until he figures out what (and who) he wants.

Heeseung : Lives with a couple of his friends. Has been in an on again off again relationship with Y/n. He's usually the one ending things, except this time. But is he ready to let her go?

LOTR characters and how they'd handle social media:

Frodo: It's highly possible he isn't even on social media at all. Maybe on one or two platforms, mostly just to keep up with friends who are far away. Might use something like Reddit or Quora, but only engages with serious content. But sometimes he easily gets overwhelmed with depressing news and Sam has to persuade him to disconnect for a while.

Sam: He's probably on at least one social media platform because he cares about people and wants to keep up with them. Also, he likes access to informational things. But sometimes Frodo has to stop him from scrolling too much because people's rude behavior and hateful comments can get him feeling down. His photos are mainly his plants and food he's cooked up.

Merry: Uses social media moderately. Probably on more than one platform, and is willing to engage with some silly stuff as well as serious stuff, but knows how to keep a fairly healthy balance. Likes to share memes and jokes. Sometimes posts pics of whatever he's eating (because Hobbit). Also moderate selfies (he appreciates a nice look!)

Pippin: On multiple different platforms. Uses social media a good deal. Loves to chat with people all over, show off what he's doing in the Shire, and post pics with buddies he's made everywhere. Also shares a lot of memes, corny jokes, and TikToks. Lots of good natured trolling. Also so many pics of food.

Bilbo: Ok, he insists he hates it because of all the drama, but secretly he likes to keep up on the Shire tea while sitting in his chair and getting angry about stupid & petty people. Also probably uses Facebook to keep up with his Dwarf friends and Gandalf. Also a big time social media stalker.

Gandalf: Still has Facebook only and almost never uses it. Will reply to a post after it's already been up for three years. He's secretly a lot smarter about social media than he lets on, but he also kinda thinks it's absurd so he just lets people assume he doesn't know how to use it.

Aragorn: Does not use social media, does not have social media, does not care about social media. He may be compelled to create profiles once he's king, but he probably has some assistant that manages them.

Legolas: Probably uses a few social media platforms, but not excessively. More of a liker and sharer than a poster. Almost all his photos are of some plant life or beautiful view. He's probably also in some anti-racism communities (Dwarf Lives Matter or something).

Gimli: Might use one or two social media platforms. His profile pic is either his axe or a photo he got someone to take of him with his celebrity crush Galadriel. Whichever it is, it will be his profile pic forever. Follows every Dwarf who could possibly be any distant relation. Reblogs a lot, primarily short form videos and activist posts. Immediately blocks anyone who says anything bad about Galadriel.

Boromir: Rarely uses social media. Kinda likes it, but also finds it a little confusing. Leaves encouraging comments on his friends' posts, tho, and anything pro-Gondor. (One time when someone managed to post an unusually wonderful photo of Aragorn looking regal, Boromir commented: "My brother, my captain, my king!") Likes everything Faramir has posted, ever.

Faramir: Doesn't use social media much. Tries to engage in discourse sometimes, but gets fed up with people being rude and angry. Probably has posted two pics ever, one of him and Boromir, and one of him and Éowyn.

Éowyn: Also a big time social media stalker (especially when she had to figure out if that hot Dunedain was single). Mostly posts photos of her horses. Loves activist communities.

Éomer: Rarely uses social media. His posts include a couple bad selfies but mostly horses and weapons. Ends up in a lot of arguments he didn't start (or at least not intentionally).

Galadriel: Has one (1) social media account that Arwen or Celebrían probably convinced her to create and literally never uses it. Except for that one time she had to go and make her profile pic a photo of her and Celeborn because people didn't remember she was even married and kept trying to hit on her.

Arwen: Uses social media moderately. Her page includes lots of poetry and songs. Leaves sweet comments on everyone's posts. Likes to post photos of Aragorn and insists he looks good in all of them even tho he insists he looks bad in all of them. Definitely posts something romantic every anniversary.

Elrond: Does not use social media at all and never will. Laments the negative effects it has on one's mental health.

Haldir: You know that one profile that has the person's name but no posts and no profile pic and you wonder if it's even them? Yeah, that's Haldir's social media profile. He may look at it occasionally, but doesn't really care about it.

Gollum: Posts all the nassssty thingses ever, precious! Hateful comments on Frodo Baggins' page (even though Frodo blocked him a long time ago). Rude trolling on Bilbo's page (Gandalf and Elrond told Bilbo to block Gollum, but he never quite could because he finds him too amusing). So many "Lost Ring!" posts. Pics of the "nice fish" he catches. Nobody follows him.

so, Materialists

i am not great at expressing all of my thoughts on paper, that's why i would be a shitty movie reviewer so this is all a bit jumbled and hectic, but i just wanted to get it out i guess

first of all, i am honestly surprised Celine Song made that movie. maybe the problem was that my expectations were too high after seeing 'past lives', or maybe because to me the promo-tour was a bit misleading. this movie lacks depth and progressiveness is tried to claim.

what i didn't like: the movie was painfully predictable from the first trailer but i nurtured a hope in my heart that Celine would surprise us, she looks like a very layered woman with unique voice that she lost during this film. this movie tried to be critical of modern dating and putting "a price" on something so unexplainable and etheral as love but it did it poorly. this is not the "broke man propoganda" that i first thought it'd be, no, it's a toxic man and low self steem propoganda. there's no great love story to see between Lucy and John, there's zero character growth. there's zero reason as to why she'd come back to him except for her painfully low self esteem that we witness during her moment with Harry at the restaurant.

the whole 'hight' ordeal and the forced stereotype of 'he could be the best guy in the world but if he's not 6ft no woman would date him', to me that was lame and honestly lowkey myisogynistic and lazy, it didn't do anything just annoyed me. the argument that "oh she came back to john bc she didn't love harry" pisses me the fuck off because SHE KNEW JOHN FOR TWENTY YEARS AND SHE KNEW HARRY FOR TWO WEEKS! she didn't even give love a chance to develop. love is not something that happens at the snap of your fingers if you're not a hormonal teenager and even then it's just lust. in my opinion she ends up with John because of her low self worth and their similar background with John, she could never "afford" a man like Harry, he's complex and she needed someone simple and...easy. at the end it just felt like he didn't choose John, she settled for him with hopes that maybe this time it'll be better (spoiler alert it won't). Lucy and Harry had a perfect ground to build respectable, kind, gentle and nurturing relationship that would undoubtedly turn into love but the writers decided to be ??? i dunno, lame.

the way they "closed" harry's storyline was so poorly written like he wasn't one of the main characters, he just kinda disappeared. no idea what was supposed to be groundbreaking and fresh about this movie. maybe they thought they were bending the genre by including a side character who is a SA victim and trying to make the movie "more serious than any other romcom" by showcasing her trauma without giving a proper warning to the audience. (before you @ me that it was not supposed to be a romcom check IMDB and look at genres. check any other movie site and look at genres, NOWHERE DOES IT SAY DRAMA)

what i liked: it's a "safe" movie, nothing will surprise you which can be both good and bad. the performances were great, Pedro, Dakota and even Chris Evans gave it their all, minor characters were also fantastic. the cinematography and soundtrack was beautiful. some of the dialogues stuck with me. also loved that Celine didn't shy away from trying to show the differences in physical intimacy for both "couples" to highlight the difference of Lucy's involvment in two relationships from the start. also Pedro's back in the shower.

overall it's a movie i wouldn't intentionally watch again, but if it came up on TV or if i had it available on a flight i wouldn't mind drifting off to it. like my bf said: it's like bringing the best ingredients to the world renowned chef and they serve you the blandest burger the world has ever seen. will you still eat it? yes, because it's food and it's fresh. but do you wish they at least used some fucking salt and pepper? also yes.

I was extremely embarrassed to finally publish it, because it seemed to me a banal cringe to interfere in this

maverick moon is one of fresh's parasites, initially not having any difference from the others.

at some point fresh visits the alternate universe of the grease maker, leaving some of the parasites there with the aim of temporarily infecting this place.

surprisingly, moon was unlucky to be there: all of his gathered after some time could not withstand the atmosphere filled with nicotine, smoke and other harmful masses.

in turn, he managed to survive in an unknown way for himself - the parasite is broken by the world itself, forcing him to unconsciously copy some codes and replace them in his own with new ones.

the parasite not only gained sanity, but also lost the ability to further infect au, received a tendency to deny the need to live and dark obsessive dreams.

from that moment on he ceases to be just an ordinary parasite, giving himself a name.

due to the inferiority caused by the lack of reproduction of his own kind, he experiences an instinct to care for his fellows, especially those who are unable to stand up for themselves for some reason.

a vagabond junk dealer who steals all sorts of junk and resells it. takes "under his wing" the weak or those living out their last hours of life parasites.

an extremely weak creature - not capable of the same quick reaction as others, smaller in size than most and has only a couple of pistols as a weapon.

however, collecting parasites plays into his hands - he is able to set them on the attacker or scatter them across worlds, as Fresh usually does with his own.

he can be considered a "scavenger" - Mun mainly grabs the bodies of creatures who are barely able to live, literally taking the soul's magic completely for himself. unlike other parasites, he does not let go of the victim until death.

prone to drinking alcoholic beverages, especially vodka. alcohol in any other form, like all parasites - despises. No, there shouldn't have been a joke about the emphasis on vodka, it's just extremely harsh in taste.

he also considers forbidden herbs obscene.

however, he is seen smoking weak cigars from time to time.

small facts

he drinks not because of the desire to seem somehow cool - he wants to distract himself, at least for a while, from heavy thoughts.

like most parasites, Moon has practically no feelings and emotions that are not feigned by him. The exceptions are: fear, rage and awareness of worthlessness.

despite his poor moral state, he continues to look cheerful and positive, will not miss the opportunity to joke or say something for fun.

collecting parasites for himself, he not only uses them for some kind of self-defense, but also treats each one with reverence, showing a sincere desire to take care of them, but does not even remember the death of one or another of his brothers.

He has an extremely low timbre of voice. Something comparable to the sound of a contrabass

his name can be shortened to MaM, which makes a small reference to his unconscious desire to take care of one of his (just replace the letter a with o)

he tried to dye his hair black, but the natural shade still showed through on his hair

he carries a lot of parasites under his clothes, gets along with everyone, and is the "dominant" one among them

Its camouflage is poor due to the fact that it absorbs relatively little energy due to its size and corrupted code. By itself, it is planned as a character ready to "take under the wing" any of the other brothers, including RetroRock shipkids.

Some sociopathic traits Cal Gabriel has,,

I don’t believe he was a sociopath. But I do believe he exhibited some shared tendencies to them.

When Cal was younger, he didn’t enjoy people very much.

The previously chubby-cheeked, little white blond boy began to display this distant look in his eyes as he slowly aged, which had started to show when he was around 2 to 3-years-old.

His reserved behavior was more prevalent when he was a kid. His parents remained unquestioning, though. Treating their son like any other normal boy. But could you really blame them?

Because not even Cal’s family members could read what was going on in his mind.

Birthday parties weren’t very fun either. Calvin felt overwhelmed by everyone standing around him, trying to get him to smile while singing him happy birthday, shoving presents toward his sour face. Fuck, the people his parents invited and who attended were so insufferable and nauseatingly energetic. He didn’t even want to do anything for his 18th birthday a few months before Zero Day. He just wanted to spend time with Andre— the bastard who mostly sees him for who he is. Around his teenage years, that was when the lingering anger began to sprout deep within him. And when he and Andre met, they clicked partially for this reason.

Calvin does get crushed by the invisible weight of his depression and experiences negative and positive feelings as well, though they’re less prominent and not necessarily how most people would typically assume. He experiences these feelings toward himself and toward Andre and his friends. And most of the time he doesn’t feel much toward other classmates— not unless it relates to his burrowed sadism, aggravation, disinterest, and contempt.

He likes Rachel, even though he grows defensive when she tries to nudge her nose into him and Andre’s business. Cal always plays it off as a joke, but there’s a subtle sense of sobriety in his eyes… especially when he essentially told her to “leave town”.

He isn’t friends with very many people except for a few— those few including Andre. He’s known for being in the school band, and from being Rachel’s friend, but that’s really it.

With Andre, he does feel a sense of fondness and longing when he’s out of his grasp. He treats the brunet teenager unlike how most people would treat their companion. He sees him as this figure he needs to latch onto, who latches onto Cal in contrasting yet related ways— Calvin feels alive when he’s around him, less like a walking zombie. Calvin gets restless and the closest thing to sad when he’s not around. Lonely, even. He needs his attention. They share a bond that nobody should be able to have but them… the Army of Two.

Cal expresses this amorous sentiment toward his comrade in relatively traditional manners, having learned from seeing other couples at school… mainly with physical touch. He really isn’t opposed to physical touch when with Andre at all. Though, Cal’s indifference when he and Andre argue is as apparent as finding a glowing scarecrow in a corn field. And while he does react in blatantly flippant manners toward the various serious problems Andre has with him in that moment, he doesn’t truly want Andre to stay angry at him. So he tries to deescalate the situation without outwardly confronting the problem. Think of the scene where Andre got angry at Cal over the poem he read aloud, and how Cal made him smile a minute later.

In addition, Cal is a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

The sheep wool sitting over his head like some veil of purity is the awkward, yet casual facade he wears to get people to think differently of him. To think he’s nice, to think he isn’t capable of committing such a horrific thing such as Zero Day. Even now, even before Zero Day; he’s still got his parents and peers fooled— excluding Andre.

That wolf is what Andre sees when Cal’s pissed off and bothered, and what everyone saw on Zero Day, during Cal and Andre’s final moments after they murdered a dozen students. Cal realized how he was destined to fade out with the boy who understood him; the boy he made an effort to understand, too.

Moon Dominance & Manipulation pt 2

In part 1, I spoke about the manipulative nature of Moon dominant people, in this post I will be exploring it further and providing more examples.

I think its interesting that the Moon dominant nakshatras, namely, Rohini, Hasta & Shravana are Manushya gana (Rohini) and Deva gana (Hasta & Shravana). It is very telling because even though these natives say and do terrible things, they enjoy squeaky-clean reputations and people usually perceive them as angels. If they were Rakshasa gana people would see through their bs more quickly.

Ariana Grande- Hasta Moon conjunct Jupiter

Ariana has said and done numerous problematic things over the years, from cheating scandals, blackfishing, donutgate, being extremely rude and arrogant, changing races every few years, to cringe ass over-sexualised lyrics, to being a homewrecker, Ariana is super duper messy YET she enjoys public and media support and is seen as America's sweetheart. Other people have lost their careers for less but Ari gets away with absolutely everything. She publicly admitted that Pete was her rebound guy (she was engaged to him) which is such a shitty thing to do to someone?? Like imagine if the genders were reversed lol

Ariana is a solid example of always seeming like the innocent person even though she's the messy one. Even with her latest album, its pretty obvious who cheated on who but she's been subtle enough with her music to make it seem like her ex cheated on her (she made him sign an NDA upon divorce which in itself is SOOO sketchy like what is she afraid of him revealing????) to imply things like that when you've put the other person in a position where they literally cannot speak for themselves is peak Moon dominant manipulation. She then posted a half assed story on IG asking fans to stop attacking "people in her life",,, its so apparent that she incited the whole thing in a super calculated manner and once she got what she wanted, she tries to pretend to be the good guy whose fans did all the terrible stuff🙄

Selena Gomez, Pushya Stellium, Mercury in Ashlesha atmakaraka (they both lie in Cancer which is Moon ruled)

I wouldn't have included rashi rulership but Selena is an exception. She's the queen of playing the victim and is second only to Meghan Markle. Selena sets her fans on different hate trains every other week. She's very wary of showing support to social causes. She worked with Woody Allen. She treated her best friend & kidney donor like shit, was a terrible gf to Justin Bieber, treated Demi like shit during a really tough period of Demi's life, can't sing at all yet, produced a whole TV show (13RW) that is extremely triggering for people with mental health issues and was advised by MANY to change things but she just didn't??? honestly, if you watch her documentary you can see how she's the most self-absorbed narcissistic person, every single thing has to be about her all the time.

Despite all this, Selena is almost universally loved.

Amy Dunne from Gone Girl is THE best example of a Moon-dominant person and the extent to which they'll go to ruin your life. Amy Dunne was played by Rosamund Pike who has Shravana Sun conjunct Mars

Amy had such a squeaky clean image that it was impossible to convince anybody that she was the sociopath who tried to fake her own death.

Leonardo DiCaprio- Hasta Moon

Leo is a creepy middle aged man who only dates women under 25, lives for the yacht life and spends his free time partying and doing drugs, all of which is fine but these are things that other Hollywood men come under fire for ALL the time, yet Leo is pretty much everyone's favourite, he's the environmentalist humanitarian even tho he's private jetting to his private island to party with models, even tho he's received flak in the last couple of years for dating women much younger than him, its still more of a running gag than anything serious. He hasn't suffered because of it in any way. His reputation is still intact.

John Lennon- Hasta Sun, Shravana Moon

If Trinity and Frank are indeed the same, why did I connect with Frank so hard, while Trinity is only the character I appreciate? I've been wondering about it from the beginning of the show, because Trinity definitely has some of the characteristics that make me go *.*

And yet..

It's not a gender thing, I analyzed it back and forth, left and right and in all other directions for a long time. I freely admit, that I haven't yet come across a female character that I would feel as strongly as I do about many male characters (the closest comes La'An Noonien-Singh from Star Trek: SNW). However, I chalk it mostly to the fact that well-writtem female characters are a relatively new concept.

BTW, it has to be said that The Pitt has so many fantastic and multidimentional female characters.

I think it's a matter of masking. They are the same at the core, yes. Both ambitious, both proud and both seeking connection and approval. And both deeply hurt, to the point where they have to hide parts of themselves behind A Mask.

They go about it in very different ways, I think.

Frank tricked everyone (including me) with how competent and strong and yappy--and happy--he is. It's the surface, the projection.

Trinity, meanwhile, is abbrasive, she doesn't try to make people like her, quite on the contrary. Oh, she wants to be liked, just as Frank does. She soaks up Garcia's niceness like a flower in the drought. But she's not going to try extra hard. She doesn't trust people and she doesn't want to trust people, she can saunter through life all on her own, thank you very much (this is a lie).

Whereas Frank... Frank asks Robby, "Are we still friends?" Frank clocks a *sunshine* newcommer and (it's important) a resident, who will most likely stay in this ED. He gets out of his way to befriend her. He tries to impress an MS4, who may potentially end up in this ED, but then, he may not, so he doesn't put in much effort. Frank needs to have people around him, people who would give him the sense of belonging (all that praise kink talk is a lil' too much for me, but that's just me. you do you). Having a wife, kids, now also a dog is a part of it too. It's the "white picket fence life" that's supposed to be so... normal. Oh, make no mistake, he loves Abby and he definitely loves his kids. But the goal of the family is normalcy.

He doesn't want to be different than the rest of the world. Bigger, better, more shiny. Except maybe in medicine, but that's probably the only authentic thing in his life. His love for medicine. It's not means to an end. Besides, he likes Robby's approach, that this is a teamwork. Frank is a part of the team--again, belonging.

Trinity wants to shine. She has The Ego, and the means to show it. On the surface she doesn't care about belonging anywhere. She cares, she really, really does, about other people, but, oooh, allowing someone to see that? It's something she will fight to the bitter end. I'd say she was truly exhausted after this shift, when she let that fasade slip for a blink of an eye, and offered Whitaker a place to live. She imediately put it back up with that deflection about Krav Maga.

She's wonderfully complicated, that woman.

So, to sum it up. Yes, they are the same underneath. And they both project something that is not entirely true about themselves on the outside. But their masks are vastly different.

Oh, one more thing. The jokes, the jabs at other people. They both use sarcasm, but Frank aims it at his peers (Collins, Garcia, Princess is maybe not a peer, but she can hold her own) and only "belittles" Garcia, who gives as good as she gets, if not better. Trinity starts with jabs at those who are inferior to her (Victoria, Denis and Mel, who is not inferior--in fact she's superior as an R2--but her social skills are lacking and Trinity sees that), and those jabs hit the sore points of those people.

So, Frank's teasing is used as a bridge toward other people, without showing that he wants to build that bridge. While Trinity's teasing is a shield meant to keep people at a distance, so they don't see her vulnerability.

Yeah. Second attempt at a summary. ;) I want to say that them masking in different ways is most likely the reason I identify with Frank and only appreciate Trinity. Not that it's important, but my overthinking this bias led to the above analysis of their characters, so.. There you go.

-It was when the demon tried to attack, only to be quickly subdued, that they realized what had happened, this demon was responsible for everything, after it confessed everything, with the hopes Whitebeard would let him go.

-However, when they all rushed to find you, to apologize and make things right, you were already long gone, as you had run as fast as you could, blinded by your grief, not wanting to ever see them again. They were your family, they had adopted you and made you feel so safe, only to betray you so coldly like this.

-That’s how you felt when you first left the Moby Dick, but after a couple years that passed, you matured and realized that it was your grief talking and not your true feelings.

-You wanted to see them again, to set the record straight, but you never seemed to come across them again, even after you joined a new crew, the Demon Slayer Pirates, a group that dedicated themselves to eradicating demons as well as anyone corrupt, under your captain, Ubuyashiki.

-He was like a father to you, treating you so gently, it was a lot like Whitebeard, as the soft affections reminded you of him, but this was different, it felt…right, if you had to describe it.

-It wasn’t until Whitebeard reached out to your captain, requesting his help, as he and his crew came across one of his territories, a small summer island, that had been attacked by a demon, turning all others into demons, and he needed help dealing with them.

-When you saw the Moby Dick again, you could only stare up at it, old pain filling your heart as you remembered how they chased you away, but there was no hate in your heart, you knew it wouldn’t do any good to hate.

-Whitebeard, Marco, Jozu, and many of the others were all wide-eyed, seeing you there, now under a new crew, and many shouted out your name, as they had regretted how they treated you and wanted to apologize.

-You were surprised, as were your crew mates as you had quickly been pulled into a hug by your old crew, many who were crying, relieved to see you again.

-Some of your new friends, Inosuke and Zenitsu, were curious on how you knew Whitebeard, as the massive man kneeled before you, hugging you close, “I’m so sorry Y/N.”

-His words seemed to echo around you as tears easily welled in your eyes, making Inosuke run over to yell, “Oi you old bastard- how dare you make Y/N cry?! I’ll-” WHACK!! He was quickly sent to the ground, punched on the top of his head by Tengen, disciplining him.

-Ubuyashiki approached, his voice soothing and calm, “We can enjoy the reunion later. First, we have a job to too.”

-Several voices, including your own, shouted out immediately, “Yes sir!!” and you stepped away from the group and drew your sword as your captain lit a special candle, one that attracted demons.

-The Whitebeard Pirates were in awe, watching the Hashira, the strongest of the Demon Slayer Pirates, taking charge, while you, Inosuke, and Zenitsu, showed off your own skills, showing that you had grown over the past few years as you used your Sun Breathing techniques, taking out the demons that had taken over the island.

-All except you and your captain were sent out to patrol the island, to look for any lingering demons, as he had asked you to remain, so you could speak with Whitebeard and his crew.

-They told you of the demon they had found, who had confessed to everything after he had been captured, right before Marco burned him, and how they had believed you had been responsible for the incidents, something Whitebeard apologized for, for not investigating properly.

-They were stunned by your soft smile, hearing them all apologizing to you for how they treated you, and you smiled, letting a tear slip down your cheek, “I forgave you all long ago. I knew that you didn’t really mean what you had said, so I have no reason to be mad. You guys were my family after all!”

-You quickly found yourself being hugged by Thatch, Marco, and Ace, all of them crying comically as they held you, you looked exasperated, but Ubuyashiki could tell that you were happy, even if he couldn’t see you.

-When Whitebeard asked you to come back to them, your smile fell before you bowed deeply, your head touching the floor, “Thank you for the offer, but I refuse. I found my place with Captain Ubuyashiki and the other Demon Slayers.”

-Whitebeard wasn’t upset, like some of the others, like Ace, who looked ready to fight for you, as he reached his hand down, ruffling your hair softly, “I knew you wouldn’t, but I wanted to ask anyway. You do what makes you happy Y/N- but don’t think your crew is getting away from this island without having a party with us!!”

-Ubuyashiki couldn’t help but smile, hearing the cheers and the enthusiasm, agreeing and once everyone returned, safe and sound, many cheered at the thought of having a party.

-You enjoyed yourself, being back on the Moby Dick, there were so many faces you recognized and some you didn’t, but the vibe was still similar, like a family.

-Despite not going back to your old crew, Whitebeard and the others were still your family, and you would always consider them as such, and they considered you the same.

Nimona headcanons plus a little bonus at the end

Whenever the trio gets home it's like a switch is flipped off inside their brains and all they want to do is be lazy and relax 

They’ve got very busy and stressful lives and a pretty small home so it’s not uncommon for them to yell when they’re asking a question instead of just getting up

And if they can’t hear each other they’ll just call the other person

One time Ambrosius was yelling asking them what wanted for dinner and was interrupted by Nimona calling him 

He answered the phone and all they said was “What’d you say I couldn't hear you” he didn’t even question it he just kept talking 

Nimona brings dead animals home 

I have this small headcanon that the first time she shifted into her human form was when she met Gloreth 

So before that she was living mostly as different animals and she kind of learned their ways and those ways stuck with her 

So there is a small part of her that sees Bal and Ambrosius as incompetent hunters (can you blame her)

The boys always thank her for her doing a good job and then they wait for her to leave the room before they freak out because MY GOD SHE BROUGHT A FUCKING DEAD RAT IN THE DAMN HOUSE 

There have also been times when she’s brought live animals inside the house the trio spent half an hour trying to get a traumatized bird out of their living room 

I just know for a fact that Bal has a crazy amount of brain damage 

This man has used his head as a weapon and has been hit on the head more times than I can count 

So I feel like he has a really hard time remembering the little details he gets really bad migraines and headaches pretty frequently his eyesight is absolute shit and he has to wear contacts or glasses and he gets really bad vertigo if he doesn’t take care of himself 

This worries the shit out of Ambrosius and Nimona but there isn't much they can do except deal with the symptoms when they show up

So I was thinking about the fact that as far as we know Nimona never told Bal about what went down with Gloreth

But I know that the boys would try and heal the damage that Gloreths legacy left behind  

And in the middle of everything Bal turned to Ambrosius and said “I just wish that fucking eyesore was gone” 

He didn’t have to ask what he meant he knew it was the statue 

So Ambrosius got to work trying to get it torn down 

A lot of people including some distant relatives that he hasn’t heard from in years tried to argue that it was an important monument and that her story touched a lot of people 

To which Ambrosius responded with “I’m her direct descendant if anyone gets to choose what happens to that statue it should be me” 

It was a couple of months into Nimona’s return when the demolition was approved 

The boys had asked him a while after he came back if it was something he wanted 

And all he said was “As long as I get to help” 

It was super therapeutic for both Nimona and Ambrosius 

Like don’t get me wrong the damage she did to Nimona is still there 

And Ambrosius will always have a complicated relationship with his lineage 

But tearing down the “fucking eyesore” heals something inside them

It was supposed to be a month-long process but Nimona and Ambrosius kept going and it was completely gone after two weeks

When all was said and done they collapsed on the couch and went through just about every single emotion you can go through

A little bonus I made my mama watch Nimona with me and here are some of my favorite comments: Mind you when I first put the movie on this woman was acting like I was pulling teeth

“I like the queen she seems nice” (and then she freaked out when she died)

“So they’re nice to him 'cause he’s gold I would just steal the armor what does he have without that?” “Money Mama” “Ah”

“Why are they so mean to him he’s just a baby?” (talking about Bal)

“She’s just like you especially with those freaky eyes” (when Nimona met Bal)

“Oh, so she’s the rhino…. Makes sense”

“Awe she’s cute I can't hate her” (about Nimona again)

“Oh wait she isn’t cute that’s freaky” (when Nimona was the demon baby)

“That’s like you and your sister” (Bal and Nimona interrogating the squire)

“Hey, mama is arm chopping a love language?” “I’m worried that you would even ask me that”

“Oh he’s got issues huh?” (after Ambrosius’ internal freak out)

“Can he die a little quieter… and faster” (after the Director stabbed “Ambrosius”)

“Oh fuck that little blond girl”

We had to pause the movie right before Nimona started her rampage because we were getting tired and I woke up to her in front of the tv with it pulled up on Netflix and she turned to me and said “Can we finish it already?”

“If she sacrificed herself I will never forgive you”

“Do you watch anything with straight people?” “Mama you literally ship them” “That's not an answer” (this is right after Bal and Ambrosius kissed)

“Is there a next part?..... so when’s the next one coming out?” 

Once the movie was over I told her some people thought Ambrosius and Bal were related and she looked me dead in the eyes and said

“You’re joking. No you have no be kidding… He literally said it in the movie!” “Said what Mama?” “oh I love him so much and I lost him whatever will I do” 

And then she kept making fun of Ambrosius for the next three minutes

I asked her who her favorite was and she said Nimona I go “aweee you love me” she looks me dead in my eyes and says “don’t make it awkward”

As of 3/31/2025, this post has been sitting in my drafts, finished, for four months, including December, since it was created at the beginning of the month. I'm posting it because the FNF update is out aaaand I wanted to do something to commemorate it aaaand I'm also tired of looking at it

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

Boyfriend is SUPER DUPER affectionate. As long as you love him, he'll obsess over you. He loves giving gifts, giving things that reminded him of you, kisses, and saying really nice things to you. He also writes songs for/dedicated to you!

B = Best Friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

Boyfriend would be one of those best friends that is always fucking with you and yet is also the realest friend ever. You guys probably met one random day and bonded over a shared interest like music or robbing a fast food place.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

He'd LOVE to cuddle! He'd do it anytime he gets the chance. In bed, on the couch, on the bus, you name it! He likes being the one on top, though.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How good are they at cooking and cleaning?)

Boyfriend wants to be as active as possible. He's a rapper, after all. As much as he wants to settle down, he's got dreams to chase (but that doesn't mean he won't make time for you). He's, uh.. not the best cook or cleaner, but he does try! He can make a mean donut and fruit in a bowl, and that's about it.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

Can barely keep himself together. He'll let you down gently, in person. Not just for your sake, but for his sake as well. He'd still constantly be thinking about you after the breakup, wondering what he could've done differently so he wouldn't have to do it. Tears him up inside, he legit can't live without you.

F = Fiancé (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?

IT'S ON SIGHT (Jk lmao). He'd ask you to get married a good couple years into dating. As much as he loves you, he knows when things move too fast. At least for him, he does.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

Physically, he's gentle enough. Emotionally, not as much. Like I said, he's always fucking with you so expect a couple of playfights here and there. Boyfriend has a low level of empathy/sympathy, but that doesn't mean he doesn't get you're still upset. He'll try his best to make you feel better.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

Really tight squeezes. Often places his head on top of yours (assuming he's taller). Hugs you almost every time he sees you—he loves physical affection! He'll hug from the front and from the back, no exceptions!

I = I Love You (How often do they say the 'L Word'?)

Says it when you get up in the morning, says it when you go to bed, and every time he's about to rap battle someone. When he's not speaking in beep-boops, he'll say it quite a bit.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they're jealous?)

Considering he's all over you all the time, he'd be pretty jealous if it seemed like someone else was into you. When he gets jealous, he'll do a bit of background lurking to let the person know you're his s/o. If they try to make a move, he'll swoop in and do something to make it clear that you two are dating.

Liiiiike if the person tries to flirt with you, he'll wrap his arms around you, kiss your cheek, and stare at the person smugly lmao.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

His kisses are short, sweet, and often abrupt. You never know when he's gonna do it.

He likes to kiss you on the lips and on the forehead (specifically to show you how short you are compared to him).

He likes it when you kiss him on his cheeks or his neck.

L = Little Ones (How are they around children?)

ACTUAL menace lmaoo. Like, he's good with kids, but he's as chaotic as he'll ever be. He will also do stupid shit like wanting to shave his head with them. Leave him with the kids for half an hour and he'll have them peacefully sleeping on the couch. Mainly because he was running laps around the house with them. Definition of "in my defense I was also left unsupervised".

M = Mornings (How are mornings spent with them?)

He'll cuddle and latch onto you so you can't get out of bed. Once he eventually lets go of you, he stands by you in the kitchen and watches you make breakfast. If he gets up earlier than you, he'll get donuts for breakfast.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

It's likely you two just escaped death (again) that day, so nights are slow. Boyfriend, being the gentleman he is, often carries you to bed. He'll order food (since he still can't cook) and help you bathe. And if you're feelin' a lil' 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝔂 he'll match your 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

Canonically, Boyfriend beeps at people to avoid actually speaking to them. This leads me to believe that he would try to tell you things but would just end up beeping at you instead. Eventually, when you two get closer, he'll start speaking actual words.

He didn't let you know beforehand that he was gonna start saying real words, so the day he did caught you off guard.

"Hey, (N/N)! Sorry I'm late! I woke up late, ha!"

"... What did you say?"

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

It depends. With you, chillest dude ever. You share a braincell. With others, it depends on how capable they are of beating him in rap battles and other things he's good at, like fingerboarding.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

Believe it or not, he can remember a lot about a person. He just chooses to forget about anyone else that isn't you. He'll remember your favorite food, your favorite drink, your birthday, your favorite place to go, and things you're into.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

Your first date. While you were wearing your really cute sweater, your newest shoes, and even did your hair nicely, Boyfriend showed up wearing his "human by chance, alpha by choice" shirt. You couldn't stop laughing at him lmao

He was just glad he got to make you smile that night.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

Veeeerry protective. Would go through hell and back just to make sure you make it out alive. Again, he's very cocky so he believes he doesn't need protection. Though he doesss kinda wish you would stand up for him if someone was talking shit 'cause he'd find it cute

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, and everyday tasks?)

Only the best for you. He'll spend all his money on buying you your favorite food or something you saw at the mall. Goes on fancy dates that he can't afford but will pay for anyway. With everyday tasks, it depends on what they are. He's hates washing dishes and laundry, but he'll do them just for you. He loves you a lot <3

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

Boyfriend's got a reaaaaal bad habit of going up to fight/rap battle people he doesn't know. (I mean thats literally the plot of fnf basically.) He can't resist the temptation, and it gets to be a lot, especially when you two are trying to have alone time. He'll try to work on it, but sometimes things just... happen.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

With his looks? Very. He wants to look good for his pookie. Always tries to make himself look at least presentable for you.

With your looks? Dude, you could be having the worst case of bed-head with a side of dried spit on your face and he'd still say "hello sexy" in the morning.

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

Yes. Yes. A gazillion time, yes. This should go without saying. You are his world.

X = Xtra (A random headcanon about them.)

Boyfriend likes both skateboarding and roller skating! There's this skatepark he goes to, like, all the time to fuck around. If you want, he'll teach you how to skate, "like you're the coolest kid on the block"

Boyfriend's not too picky when it comes to lovers. The only thing he'd ever want is for you to have similar interests as him because it's easier to understand you

Raptorslugs and their co-sophonts moths

The raptorslug homeworld has no moon, a sunlike star and weak tides. Only one creature ever crawled out of the water, which had a mobile gametophyte phase and a photosynthetic sporophyte phase. Every macroscopic land organism is evolved from this source and about 70% of species have retained the two stage lifecycle.

Raptorslugs evolved from a cursorial pack hunter, much like wolves. Their governmental systems have even more diversity than human governments, and countries are usually smaller than on earth. The pack structure rarely plays into government, but frequently into social events and workplace culture. A raptor has a couple packs: their sport friends, their job, whatever other hobbies. A pack always does something together. Your mate is usually not part of your pack, unless you're also on some team together. Raptorslugs genuinely appreciate the corporate pizza party.

Raptorslug culture centers dances, sport and architecture.

The males with their attractive blue dance much like birds of paradise (I'm thinking of the Greater lophorina). There are many styles of dance, but they all involve the wings and usually involve bouncing or shaking. One of the more common interspecies relationships is female raptorslugs (or gay males) with a human in bright clothing who knows how to use a fan. Human with fan is just as attractive as a natural male raptorslug. They would date drakes or herder kaledevids too, but those species have such different conceptions of romance that it rarely works out.

Sports are often derived from hunting in some way. They're one of the few times when it's polite to unsheathe your mandibles. Most sports are meant to evoke a pack taking down a foe, and are rarely two teams on equal ground competing to get a ball into a goal. They prefer to try to get a certain score, with no opponent team. One sport is basically soccer, except there's only one team, and everyone is blindfolded and the field is full of various obstacles. Another popular sport just involves releasing a xenogazelle into a large fenced in area and ten guys work together to kill it with their teeth, or various more 'civilized' variations. The few competitive sports they have are thievery based. Get 'meat' flags from a 'carcass' while the other team tries to chase you away and get the flags for themselves.

Their architecture often evokes bird nests. Round, winding, spiraling, woven. They think bricks look cheap and low effort. Particularly impressive buildings look like gnarled trees, bulging and intertwining as they ascend.

Raptorslugs' sporophyte phase has atrophied into something resembling a placenta. The egg is fertilized, grows into a flat thin sporophyte within the womb, and develops two baby raptorslugs within it from spores.

Moths are more complicated, with a culture and psychology so alien that it's generally just too much work to understand. There are over 100 species of moth, all intelligent, all different levels of intelligence. These species act like and sometimes include breeds, selectively bred for specific purposes. If raptorslugs didn't exist, moths would be capable of building a spaceship on their own (the empire's standard definition for intelligence) but they wouldn't have wanted to. Moths simply don't have the ambition to leave their planet or invent fire or agriculture. They'll gladly run your datacentre but they would never bother inventing it on their own. They just want their sporophyte trees safe. The occasional species has now been bred for ambition but these are still rare.

Moths are easy to work with however, as they think in contracts. They'll do what you ask, and in exchange, usually they ask for their trees to be protected. Sometimes they'll ask for something more complex, like that one time a colony wanted import laws to be relaxed

Moths clearly have some sort of culture. They work differently, want their habitats differently depending on the colony, and experiments show it isn't genetic. But they don't do anything for fun. They don't make art or watch shows. They read, but they strongly prefer nonfiction. They enjoy maps. It's hard to befriend a moth and impossible to date one.

They do have colonies or genetically related individuals, but they aren't a hive mind. Moths from the same tree just tend to want the same things, and don't care if they or their sibling is the one to reproduce, so they stick together.

Reading with Ru: Aug/Sept Fic Recs

I know I'm certainly in need of some positivity and escapism lately, so I'm gonna try to do semi-regular fic and book recs! Starting with a retroactive what I've been reading from the past couple of months with this account! (I might go back in time and make an all-time rec list later)

Sergeant Squeaks by @charliemwrites - (series of one-shots ghost x reader and price x reader separately) both one of my favourite reader characters and my favourite canon setting depictions of Ghost and Price. their own weird brands of showing love are wonderful; the tension leading to getting together is fantastic, and the sex is super enjoyable.

Ghost Stories by @kneelingshadowsalome - (ghost x medic!reader) I'm repeating myself, but I love Salome's writing. This is where I was first introduced to it, and I think it's really special. Ghost POV as he struggles with developing and then accepting love. felt so real and grounded. angsty and then fluffy, and you can't help but adore the reader as well.

saltwater by @ceilidho - (ghost x reader) It's pretty unlikely any of you don't know Ceil, but on the off chance you haven't given this one a read yet, it really is a must. I lump praise on her pretty regularly, but I don't know anyone who is able to portray their character's emotions as intimately as Ceil. her ghost feels really grounded in all his complexity. there is a common theme in these recs of really enjoyable reader characters, and this is not an exception; the reader feels like a full but still ambiguous character who is vulnerable and strong and really great.

don't leave me locked in your heart by @ohbo-ohno - (ghoap x reader dark!) we all know bo, we all love bo. I always love the way she depicts ghost and soap's dynamic changing and evolving to include the reader. the descent into dark territory in this is really really fun. It's also just hot and well-written! if you haven't read it before, go read it, and then go read all of bo's drabbles and asks on here. genuinely one of my favourite dark but still fun writers. I think she balances it really well.

body electric by @yeyinde and Afterburn by @sprout-fics - (141 + Los Vaqueros x reader) a classic. I've returned to these so many times. sometimes you just want to read dirty, filthy, well done, smut and then warm cozy aftercare. not to wax poetic about pure sex (except that's exactly what one should do), but I think it can be really hard to write group sex like this and still have such insightful and individual glimpses into each character and dynamic, and Lev does it wonderfully. and then it's also hard to find good aftercare fic, and Sprout's feels like literal aftercare for both the reader character and the reader.

other fandoms

tried to curate to themes i think overlap in some of the cod works! and I think most of these can be read fandom blind.

i revisited @winterrose527's fic in August, and even though she already knows how much I love her work, I won't skip a chance to repeat it. Anna writes for asoiaf and is pretty much the queen of Robb Stark/Myrcella Baratheon, but I would say the modern AUs (my favs) can be read almost completely fandom blind. Any contemporary romance enjoyer would love her work. I'm really partial to her kid/single-parent fics. I think it's so hard to get right, and I always adore reading her kid characters and how she approaches love stories when kids are involved. anna's works are always brimming with love and incredible platonic, familiar, parent-child, and romantic relationships (if kid fic isn't your thing she also has a ton of other great fics). personal favs: We Could Be a Little Something, And There They Are, All the Same

Lawless by @goldcranes - (arthur morgan x ofc) age difference, cowboy love story, essentially a romance novel. if goldcranes has no fans, I'm dead. I encourage you to explore her work; very few people write as strongly across multiple fandoms as she does, and each of her works feels like a really strong love story with special characters.

The Odyssey by @sunlightmurdock - (bradley bradshaw x reader) 1980's roman literature prof x virgin student - no need to know top gun. katie's work is another entry in the 'feels like it stands really strongly separately from the source material' category. she has multiple ongoing AU's that I really love, but this one is a favourite. i think she does complex characters really well - their actions always feel intentional, and as flawed as they are, I always love them.

Wouldn't it be Nice by allyoops - (m/f captive A/B/O) if you aren't reading original works smut on ao3 you are missing out and allyoops is a great place to start for noncon, dubcon, age gap, taboo etc. enjoyers. they have a ton of works; usually one shots with lots of really delicious dynamics and different settings and tropes.

An Intoxicating Presence by FormerlyIR - (mob a/b/o haladriel) MOB. A/B/O. HALADRIEL. picks up with Halbrand in prison thanks to undercover FBI agent (and his mate!) Galadriel. does that sound crazy and awesome? well it is. mix it with Gal's internal struggle, the added complication of omegaverse, and overall great writing. really fun and really damn good.

I tried to put these in order, but some are super close. I tried not to be influenced by spectacular outliers, hot bods, or high heat. Visuals only.
