#home cooked hijinks#mrnghfjfhfhfhd..#trying to write smth and in lieu of. actually writing it im just drooling over the house that made the 16 loops through time again#the Craftmanship. like shakes you the Craftmanship do u get itttt…#even like. the first paragraph. the juxtaposition of “bad plumbing” and “magical buildup” which IMMEDIATELY establishes setting and tone#next sentence. protagonists name exposition then we are introduced to danny and his dislike of th house and it all feels so smooth!!#you chuckle to yourself lightly about bad plumbing and “your house is a spoiled brat” and very suddenly you know whats going on#and the way the story keeps dripfeeding little memories of the house and danny’s importance to dr tilly subtly..#it never feels like an awful flashback chapter but without realizing you get there at the same time as dr tilly#which is. really cool! i love words 👍
