This is a VERY handy tool. It's how I managed to have a fully functioning traits system with stuff for every trait!

Part 1: New Traits!
What you get: 16 new trait object files for your personality diversity pleasure. Most of them are opposites of existing 3t2 traits that didn't already have them. One is just because :)

(*) I know @lilbabydilljr released a Dreamer trait already as part of the hidden/scrapped TS3 traits collection, but I wanted to change the flavor text and concept of it. My spouseman is a real dreamer-content-to-dream and I felt the TS3 scrapped version was too close to Ambitious. So @cityof2morrow made a different icon for it, and changed the GUID as well because Dill's conflicts with HB's simlife goggles. However, the file name is the same as Dill's and will overwrite it.
ETA: These are traits objects that WILL appear in your catalog in Gen/Misc. They are NOT added to the traits collection file as I don't use it. Feel free to do so yourself, of course.
What's coming next: Updates to existing traits mods that are plausibly affected by these traits (plus some personal preference tuning). Check out the to-do list here. Suggestions welcome and encouraged! Anyone who would like early access as a beta tester, please let us know!

Modernized Medieval Traits

I’ve been asked to share the modernized social class traits I showed in this post, which enable a live-in housekeeper scenario to be played out - basically, Sims with either the Noble or the Nouveau Riche traits can no longer cook or clean, depending on which associated mods you download, while Sims with the Housekeeper trait do so autonomously. It also works with NPC maids and butlers. Sadly, you can’t actually pay your playable housekeepers, but you could set aside a portion of the family funds for their use or use other mods such as Pescado’s Money Order to send them their wages once they stop working for you.
The traits were originally by CedanyBlee (Noble and Gentry) and Mortia (Servant); I just changed the names and descriptions/pictures to fit a more modern setting, so Gentry became Nouveau Riche and Servant became Housekeeper. I kept Noble, because I wanted to differentiate between a family like the Capps and Olive Specter, for example. They function pretty much in the same way though. 
IMPORTANT! These traits won’t do anything on their own! You must ALSO download the Nobles Don’t Cook/Clean mod by Laura if you want them to work!

I'm a fan of traits & trait mods and I really liked Atomtanned's mod /based on Dill's Turn-Ons & Turn-Offs/. This is quite an extensive edit - I just wanted to adjust it a little for my game and once I started I couldn't stop xD

❕ New stuff: added Facial Hair TO (replaces Daydreamer), Business Shark TO (was: Serious), Expressive TO (was: Unique). Increased hobby and interest requirements from 5 to 8 pts, Formal wear added to Stylish TO - and more...
I also included an optional mod that switches off Zodiac / Aspiration chemistry and balances out the chemistry bolts gain - so it makes chemistry betwen Sims much less complicated. Obviously it will only be useful for those who like to control every aspect of their Sims romantic lives. Details under the cut.
You'll need Traits /and stuff required for these to work/.

NOTE: My mod edit has been in testing for a while and it seems I've managed to fix (with the help of Epi and Ramblin) all of the issues. However If you'd like to have a go at making your own TO chemistry edit, I recommend you base it on a mod by Fran/CuriousB rather than this one.
Trait-based Chemistry mod
It will replace original TS2 turn-ons and turn-offs with entirely new ones (only hair colors and fitness/fatness are unchanged!).
It conflicts with NickM406's No More Loading the * Family mod , and Tunaisafish’s Attraction Fix, make sure you don't have tunaisafish_fix_attractiontraits package in your Downloads.
🟢 It's compatible with mods that change /or switch off Zodiac chemistry, Aspiration chemistry, or both.
❕ TO-RELATED ATTRACTION DOES NOT UPDATE IN REAL TIME If you place new Trait in your Sim's inventory, it doesn't work right off the bat. You can try to force the bolt update by making Sim change appearance, loose/gain weight.
In original version of this mod, cologne (perfume) triggers occult TO - Epi created a fix for it, BUT it might have a temporary side effect - occult Sims may get cologne flowers effect (once). You can remove fx with Batbox or force Sim to reset, either with cheats of with any posebox that has 'snap reset' or 'reset' option, like the posebox by Decorgal ❕

🔸 Hobby requirements in Dill's / Atomtanned's versions (as well as interest) were set to 5 points, which is kinda an average in my game. I don't want TOs to trigger too easily so I've increased these to 8 points, just like Skill point requirements.
Update: I've removed One True Hobby checks, so now only actual hobby enthusiasm points matter for triggering TOs.
I also increased good reputation requirement from 30 to 60.

FYI I've fixed the little mistake I've found in the mod - in my version stylish TO works as it should.
If you have any questions about how the game calculates attraction, read this.
And here's free version (SFS) of my buyable ReNuYu potion default, will be useful if you'd like to correct TOs for all your Sims.
"ONLY TO Chemistry" mod
Conflicts with No Zodiac Chemistry by Belladovah , chemistry mods by Peanutty (it incorporates their "No zodiac and no Aspiration"mod) and any other that contain Attraction Constants BCON and Attraction Tuning BCON.
In unmodded TS2 game, interests and skills do not play part in attraction. Trait-based chemistry changes that only to some extent because Zodiac and Aspiration are more important. To make TOs the crucial attraction factor in my game, I disabled Zodiac / Aspiration Chemistry, and tweaked bolt requirements.
This mod makes chemistry between Sims straightforward and TO-based however various bonuses to attraction also apply (!), like Beauty Wish, Vacation bonuses, bonus for very good rep or penalty for extremely bad reputation (even if your Sim likes bad guys, they will be put off by Dirty Dirtbag status, and enticed by extremely good rep). Anyways, if you use this mod and your Sims have no other attraction bonuses, then:
if one Sim has a turn-on towards the other, and the other has none, it results in no bolts
if one Sim has two turn-ons towards the other, and the other has none, Sims have one bolt chemistry
if one Sim has a turn-on towards the other, and the other has a turn-off, it results in negative chemistry
if a couple has single turn-ons towards each other, it gives them one-bolt chemistry
couple has three turn-ons, that gives them two bolts
couple has three turn-ons, one turn-off, that gives them one bolt
couple has double turn-ons, they have three-bolt chemistry
Special bonuses granted by mods for certain Traits like the "irresistible" still matter of course.

⚙️ Various Mod Edits
These are some edits that I've made for my own use. I'm sharing because they might be useful for someone, but here's the deal:
⚠️ I won't make other versions/offer conflict support for these mods.
If you experience problems with them and HCDU+ doesn't report a conflict, please let me know. I've tested these mods and I use them in my own game.
If you find a mod conflict or feel like these edits aren't quite what you're looking for, please don't message me about it. The easy solution is to opt out of using these.

Visitor Controller Edit
An edit of the visitor controller version by @midgethetree.
Incorporates this trait mod by @hexagonal-bipyramid, so Loners show up on community lots and as walkbys less often.
There's a new a blocker object found under general/misc. Put this object into the inventory of any sim, and they won't show up on community lots or as walkbys at all.
Enables children and teens to visit community lots even when there aren't playable children/teens present.

Requires: the trait_MAIN from 3t2 traits project (as the blocker object uses its mesh). Doesn't require using any of the traits.

Towel Mod by Color Traits with Inappropriate Behavior
A further 3t2 trait edit of my color trait towels mod.
Makes inappropriate sims change into naked instead of the towel after a shower/bath.
As a side effect, inappropriate sims might stay naked in some other situations where the game usually pushes the sim to put the clothes on asap.

Requires: meshes & recolors from the original mod, the easy inventory check, and sauna towels by color traits mod.
Update (31.3.2024): Sims are more considerate about changing out of the towel/bathrobe when they go to sleep.

Higher Relationship Requirement for Dining Groups
Not really an edit, but there's only a point in using this with simler90's dining group mod, even though this is a separate mod.
Raises the short-time relationship needed for visiting sims to dine together from 5 to 40.

An edit of the greeting goodbye kisses restrictions that is a part of Romantic Standards edits by @midgethetree.
Only sims who are in a committed relationship with each other kiss upon greeting or saying goodbye.

Jokes aside, ACR + 3t2 traits + Midge’s Romantic Standards solves the shallow aspect of vanilla Romance Sims.
I mean, let’s be honest, the real problem with vanilla Romance Sims is not that they want to cheat and do cheat … it’s that ALL of them want to cheat and do cheat … which doesn’t capture “romance” oriented human beings at all.

Sims 3t2 Traits - Wildlife - Animal Lover and More!
This selection of BHAVS, BCONS, and TCRNS add some gameplay effects for Animal Lover Sims! This mod affects a Sim's connection to wild animals.

Effects:
-Animal Lovers have a 60% chance of success (as in not getting sprayed) when trying to pet the skunk! Just like werewolves just so you know...
-Lucky Sims have a slightly higher chance of success than normal (15%)
-Unlucky and Loser Sims have a lower chance of success at petting a skunk (3%)
-Normal chance is 10%

-Animal Lovers have lower STR and LTR checks for adopting wolves!

Sometimes I upload stuff and change my mind. Here it is anyway.
Homework Sometimes
Children/Teens won't bring home homework every day. I think I gave a 50/50 chance but then certain traits modify it. Absent-Minded sims are more likely to have homework, Geniuses less etc.

Bubble Blower Sanity and Bubble Blower Builds Nature (Outside)
2 separate mods, one to limit sims from autonomously using the bubble blower based on traits, the other to allow it to build Nature enthusiasm (slowly.) Two versions for the second mod, one to allow Nature enthusiasm when the blower is used outside. Choose one.

No Digging
Blocks sims from digging unless they have the Gatherer trait. Just something small cause I hate the pie menu clutter.

Good -> Generous & Evil -> Cruel
I found an amazing text replacement for the Traits Project by @equinoxts2. This replaces the Good trait to be Generous, and Evil to be Devious. I like vir's change to the original traits as good and evil are pretty weighty words and I barely put them on my sims. However, my friendgroup has made the word devious into a funny and silly word, so I renamed it 'Cruel'.
"Generous Sims go out of their way to help friends and family in need, are charitable with their money and frequently comfort those around them."
"Cruel Sims take great delight in planning the misfortune of others and prefer to lead a life of scheming and manipulation."
This mod is the exact same as vir's mod that I linked above, I just changed the Evil trait to say Cruel instead of Devious. Take out the trait_evil.package and trait_good.package files before putting mine in.

Yes, Meduza’s school project will conflict, typically, with ANY homework mod.
I would have to go through every resource that conflicts, which can be shown in HCDU 4.2 and either add Meduza’s project into my resource, or add my traits effect into Meduza’s project.
The trick is figuring out which would be easiest for everyone involved in building and designing this incredible game. That takes lots of investigating.
Look for answers soon. This is definitely on my list, but currently I am putting together compatibility for “Car Globals” mod by Mel (allows car washing and repairing) with PicknMix’s driving license.
…As well as a mod for the Absent-minded trait and making it compatible with any mods by Hexagonal/Meduza for PicknMix’s shared showering and hydrophobic bath trait effects.
So as you can see, there’s a LOT to do in the community!!
But I ain’t going away so.… patience, young Creator…Gods always require patience!
Tip: You can always open mods in simpe to check if they conflict by making sure no two mods share a file with 1. The same group number 2. The same instance. The same instance is not necessarily bad…. As long as the GROUP is different.
if two files in two diff. mods have the same Instance AND Group… that there’s a conflict!

If you meant @lilbabydilljr's Homework Sometimes, then yes, it conflicts with my homework mod (and edits of that mod conflict too).
As I said earlier, I don't want to make more compatibility plug-ins for my mod, but everyone is free to make one. :)

Hi! I have a problem to fix.

The problem is, that the grumpy sim is completely unplayable. They are ALWAYS at the lowest mood possible. Is there any way to fix this without getting rid of the rest of moodlets, since it's one file?
Has anyone experienced it too or would be willing to test in their game? So far, my toddler won't even learn to walk or talk to his parents.
Please report to help me fix this.

Just gonna throw this mod idea out there because I keep thinking about it...
I've been slowly implementing preferred sub hobbies for sims based on Pleasantsims random hobbies. Basically if a sims true hobby is sports, then you randomize sports hobbies and then basketball is their favorite, or if their true hobby is art then maybe pottery is their hobby, etc etc.
I was just thinking it would be cool to have a mod that checks their true hobby and then randomly assigns them one in their inventory, like the trait system or favorite color system.
