As a companion collection to previous #co2quake sets, here are 400+ (!!!!!) colorful/grungy recolors for various doors and 40+ recolors for the 2-tile panels from my EZ Panel Kit (Simmons, 2024). The set also includes edited versions of the one-way “Valuewood Justa Door” (Doc Holladay, 2007; 2006) and deco-only versions of the 4t2 “Not So Inconspicuous” sliding door (EA/Maxis; converted by Jacky93sims, 2024). I realised one of the reasons I haven't made great use of the Nooks & Niches stuff is because it wasn't available in many of my favourite and most used textures! One of which is this gorgeous 4t2 brick texture. I have other custom walls I want to add to nooks & niches that I haven't seen done before, but this was as far as I got.
You'll need of course, Buggybooz Nooks & Niches set - I downloaded it from @cityof2morrow to put it in the architecture category and get the handy collection file so everything is nice and tidy.
For the matching wall texture you'll want to grab that from @lordcrumps - the wall is from EP06 Get Famous; LC_HomemadeBrick is the file you want!
Comes in all 5 original colours, just took screenshots of two of them.

3t2: DIY Elevator Kit

Published: 8-15-2024 | Updated: 8-16-2024 SUMMARY “The Teleportation Pad reduces your transportation costs by 100%... within a reasonable margin of error” “Elevators are terribly crude if you think about it. Moving a whole room from one floor to another? Barbaric! It's much more efficient to move single Sims with anti-gravity tech.” This DIY elevator set is a combination of the Teleportation Pad from Sims 3 (EA/Maxis, 2009) and the Tube Elevator from Sims 3: Into the Future (EA/Maxis, 2013). Use them to create your own retro-futuristic elevator. The DIY elevator is much faster than the default elevator, making it especially convenient on busy lots or very tall buildings. There are multiple recolors for the teleportation pad. There are TWO versions of the elevator repo’d to the Plain (V1) and Graphic Glass (V2) TXTR Repository meshes respectively. Get them from my Repo Pack (Simmons, 2022) for the glass recolors to show properly. You can have both in-game at the same time.

Turn on “moveobjects on/off” and place one teleportation pad to create a travel point between two floors. You do NOT need to place a pad on the top-most floor. Like the “Ascensions Elevator Stairs (Targa, 2005), sims can enter/exit the teleportation pad from all four sides, and will be instantly transported without breaking stride. Fence off/block the sides you don’t want to be accessible but leave at least one side open. The glass tube elevators function like columns. BUILDING TIPS If you want them to function like walls, combine them with invisible walls, fences, windows, etc. You may need to use the grid on/off cheat to move pieces slightly outside of a four-walled room. Otherwise, the game will consider the object “inside” the room and it will go dark. Fencing is recommended when placing floor tiles directly above the pieces to reduce flickering. Also, you can fill gaps with Roof Niche 001/002, Wall Deco 001/002, and the Corner Niche.

Published: 5-23-2024 | Updated: 7-16-2024 (+hood visibility) SUMMARY “Accentuate the streets, pedestrian paths, and roadsides in your city …” “Rubberall is made from upcycled rubber, metal, and other materials. It's ten and a half times weather resistant as regular rubber and twice a pretty. Order it in bulk today!” “Build a functional water and waste management system in your city…” Another edition to the Network Materials (networkMAT) (Simmons, 2022-2024) series! This modular set includes 80 low poly objects for pedestrian paths, sidewalks, decorative foundations, and other roadside streetscaping. Objects are designed to be used with the Streets of 2morrow (Simmons, 2023) set  - but they’ll work without them just fine. There are also matching neon curb lights. How about functional sewer/water management networks?! You also get a canal, tunnel, deco, and functional items for making your own sewer network. The drains will clear the lot of any unattended puddles and garbage every few hours – visible exhaust rises from them during this process. The utility box and pipes earn the lot owner a small credit at each billing cycle – SimCity rewards good infrastructure!

2-click objects are for 2-click/step foundations and foundation pieces are for default foundations/stages. Still – you’ll be able to mix and match in a variety of ways.
You’ll need “move object on/off” and “grid on/off” cheats to place some objects.
Foundation pieces match default foundations/decks which are slightly larger than a 1x1 tile space. They will overlap slightly – so depending on your design, you may want to shift things around with cheats.
Some items are asymmetrical/oversized so they’ll fit better with others in the set and give the paths a bit of a “distressed” look.
The 1x1/2x2 round corners use angled (not rounded) curves; this detail is apparent when you apply solid color txtr’s to them.
Some lights are repo’d to the neon plutonium rod (Nightlife EP) and will use the same light colors.

Published: 7-19-2024 | Updated: 7-20-2024 SUMMARY “With intricate geometric patterns, delicate parabolas, and inverted inversion, Space-O-Rama glass sets a new standard that’s out of this world!” An odd mixture of low-to-mid poly items for retro-futuristic builds, inspired by the Space-o-Rama glass fences (Pets EP). There are 41 objects and a host of recolors using texture resources from PineappleForest (2022) actions from CuriousB (2010), Pixelhate, and Klevestav (2015; 2013). DETAILS Requires all EPs/SPs. §500 | Build > Architecture | 891-1050 poly There are TWO versions – one is repo’d to the Rock TXTR Repository from my Repository Pack (Simmons, 2023) and you’ll need that mesh. Version 2 (V2) is  repo’d to the Stone Super Set (Fractured Moonlight, 2017) and you’ll need the stone couch mesh from that collection. You can use both at the same time in-game. The cave has one subset and will NOT go down with walls.

Desert Cliff 008 + Stone Plate & Rocks Set

Published: 7-15-2024 | Updated: N/A SUMMARY Here are halved versions of the cliffs from my Desert Cliff 006 (Simmons, 2024 – V1) and Desert Cliff 007 (Simmons, 2024 – V1) sets. This set also includes a collection of stone plates and rocks (Pnuky, 2022 via Creative Commons Attribution) for landscaping. These items are good resources for those who want to make “underground” sections of their hoods or build scenic caves, grottos, mines, and other mountainous settings.

The “simmons-spr-platesrocks-large-MESH” file is also REQUIRED for rock textures.  **Some cliffs are facing forward with the open side on the BACK. The half-sized low cliff from the Desert Cliff 007 (Simmons, 2024 – V1) set is already included in the original. Seamless textures look best on cliffs since these objects do not use 1:1 scaling and they will NOT go down with walls.
