If Jean was a chess piece, he’d be a pawn. Not because of the expected reasons like the fact that he has been used as one for years, but because it’s the only piece that can make itself something better when it reaches the end of the board. The Ravens held him back for years, doing everything in their power to make sure he didn’t make it to the other end of the board, to make sure he didn’t see what he could really be. But with the Trojans, they don’t tear him down, they lift him up. And he makes it to the end of the chessboard. I don’t know what other piece he’d become but a pawn has a chance to better itself and move on from its role. A king is a king and a queen is a queen but a pawn could be anything.

I want more Jeremy angst. Why does nobody write fanfics about Jeremy’s trauma?? I feel like i see mostly Jeans WHICH IS IMPORTANT!! I’m glad people do it, but what about Jeremy? Why is no one talking about him and Noah? Jeremy and his older siblings? Losing your siblings hurts, but Jeremy quite literally lost all of his siblings in one night. It wasn’t just Noah, it was the rest of them too.

Bryson got found out for doing drugs like Jeremy and got in trouble thus making there relationship more broken and strained than ever.

Annalise blames Jeremy for Noah’s death and probably resents him a little for doing drugs in the first place.

Joshua obviously blames Jeremy and still hold a lot of resentment and animosity towards him.

So he lost all his siblings. He broke his mother’s probably already withering trust and made a huge scandal that Warren had to clean up.

Imagine how hard that must have been? And then to actively quit doing a drug and be in recovery?? while everyone in your family hates you? While your baby brother who was still in high school dies before he can graduate??

I mean the angst is there people!! I want to read it in gut wrenching detail!! Someone make my heart break into a million pieces!! I mean it already has just think about Jeremy’s trauma but I need more!!!

Interesting to me that Jeremy's parents make him stay at the house during the week but he's free on the weekends and during the summer. Wondering if he was missing classes or something and he has to stay at home so they can make sure he goes every day

Sometimes I have to take a step back and remind myself of the fact TSC is, primarily, about romance. I know what I'm getting into there.

... But man... I just think it's kinda absolutely stupid that the parabatai curse is only a Thing when it involves romance.

You invent a whole kind of bond that's meant to be not romantic, not platonic, but a secret third thing, half of your soul kind of thing, and then try to tell me that kind of love alone isn't enough? Only if the people involved have romantic feelings for each other they unlock the full potential of it because fuck your bond otherwise?

All parabatai should be able to turn into nephilim if they wish to and if they're insane enough for it. Which most of them certainly are aside from cases like Valentine and Luke and what not. But I believe in this firmly.
