thinking about early-relationship jerejean, when they’re still learning so much about each other, about how to give and receive affection.

Jean wants so badly to be able to say what he feels for jeremy out loud, the way Jeremy does, but every time, the words don’t feel right..

and then one day, Jeremy says something (soft and honest about how he feels when he looks at him) and Jean breaks. he gets frustrated, almost angry, and finally blurts it out. says he wishes he could do the same.

Jeremy, gentle as always, cups his face in his hands and tells him to try in french.

Jean says it won't work bc he won't understand and Jeremy just smiles and reminds him he's been learning french. for him. and even if he doesn't catch every word, he'll still understand.

He does. when Jean finally speaks, Jeremy understands. not because he knows all the words, but because of how they fall from Jean’s lips. because of the way his voice trembles. because of his eyes.

like i desperately just want to learn all the dynamics. the drugs, the hook ups, the way he talks to his mother as if he's expecting her to deny him the things he needs. the way he literally cannot stop himself from snapping at his Bryson, but very much regrets it afterwards because that gives his brother more ammunition against him, and the fact that he knows his mother would never side with Jeremy on anything to get him out of it. the very obviously complicated relationship he has with his sister, the absent father issues, combined with the fact that he refuses to take Wilshire as his last name, and prefers to keep Knox even though he knows his father isn't going to give him a chance. the way he represses shit and avoids shit like its a full time job– with his life on the line. PLEASE. TALK ABOUT IT WITH ME. I NEED THEORIES AND ANALYSES OR IM GONNA DIE!!!!
