Summary: Being good friends with the heartthrob of your school means being the delivery person for anyone that likes him.

"You sure none of these are from you?" Kazuha teases, holding onto the several letters you delivered to him. The afternoon sun enhances his charming smile, he scans each paper.

Even though he meant it as a joke, a small part of him wishes that, in the pile of letters, he'd find yours.

You hold your breath after what he said, looking away for a split second before quickly replying, "Why would I deliver their letters if I liked you that much anyway?"

It came out a little more defensive than you intended. It felt more like you were asking yourself than him if you were being honest.

You feel your palms grow sweaty as you clutch onto the straps of your backpack, fidgeting with the buckle. Has he caught on?

You don't realize the fondness in Kazuha's gaze as he looks at you. He chuckles.

"If you say so." He carefully puts the papers in his bag. You take a deep breath.

"We should get going now. You ready yet?"

Kazuha opens his mouth only to close it again.

"Give me a sec." He pockets another letter before he catches up to you, matching your footsteps pace for pace.

The single scented envelope in your bag feels a little heavier as you both walk home together. It just so happens that his pocket was feeling a little heavier, too.

You like messing with the lights :D making it flicker during the night (especially when he has to go to the bathroom) to try and scare him a little like the previous tenants

When you realize flickering the lights don't do much, you try scaring him in the bathroom (you just stand in a corner and hope it works👍).

It kinda worked the first two times but when you tried to scare him for a third time while he was showering, he just stares at you, hides his junk awkwardly and asks (not really) "do you mind... 😕"

so you just shuffle into the wall, the disappointment in your face isn't visible but the silence in the air speaks for you

something something scara putting his pencil down to get something but once he looks back at where it was last seen, its gone

You think he doesn't see the way your eyes look from left to right slowly while you hold onto the pencil behind your back.

He blinks at you, waiting to see if you'd return it but he decides to search for an extra pencil instead. Just when he picks a new one up, you put the pencil back right where he left it.

He sighs.

Ever since you started pulling out the plug to his computer whenever he's working on something, he just saves all his progress whenever he sees your hand slowly moving towards the plug. Its muscle memory atp 👍

Trying to scare him by writing something on just about any surface but you don't know what to write or what to use to write

He comes home after buying some groceries one day, he kicks off his shoes and spots something written in red on the mirror. Inspecting it closely, he reads the message you left for him "I can see you and you know what you did."

Huh. Girl what? He doesn't really care about it, its just another one of your ominous messages that you write every week or so. It's getting old really, its been happening for almost a month. He just grabs a tissue to start wiping it off but he pauses mid way when he recognizes that shade of red. He looks at the message closely. He takes one sniff. He swipes his thumb against the red substance and licks it off. How did he not notice this sooner? "Is this where my ketchup is going?!"

You've grown to like his company bit by bit so you do him small favors like finding lost items for him, nudging things he can't reach closer to him, keeping the power in the apartment up during a power outage.

You're not always a weird piece of shit [smile], you help him without even meaning to sometimes 👍

You set the mood by making the air colder as you hid under his bed. You listen to him snore softly as you get to strike in..

Three...

Two..

One!

You grab his hand with your cold one while hes sleeping...

But he ends up pulling it closer to his chest instead of pulling away.

You just stare at him for a bit, hoping that he wakes up and realizes that this is suppose to be kind of alarming🧍🧍but when you think of why he's doing this, you realize the air conditioning in his room is broken.

So now you're his backup AC whenever the main one is busted 💪

The clock struck one

You watched as the dog laughs at the cow after it jumped over the moon. Huh.

You turn around and find a shiny white plate running away with the silver spoon on their tiny legs.

"Wait for me!" The plate quickens its pace, almost tripping in the process. The spoon cackles.

Your eyes follow the spoon and the plate before landing on a blue rat running away with a big chunk of cheese in its mouth. You also hear a little boy giggling in a distance.

Does this get even weirder? You scratch your head.

"My love." A voice echoes, you look up to see...

Oh what the fuck. 😧

Kazuha's grinning face is plastered onto the moon. If you ignore how he looks like the sun baby from the Teletubbies, you'd realize he still looks very pretty.

You stand there frozen, blinking in disbelief.

"Kazuha..?" You almost stutter.

A soft hand caresses your cheek, the corners of his lips slowly turn upward.

He tucks a strand of hair behind your ear.

"You're talking in your sleep again," he mumbles. "I wonder what you're dreaming about."

He closes his eyes. His arms wrap around you while his head leans on top of yours.

"And then I saw this blue rat dashing away with cheese as big as this!" You put two fingers up for reference, almost standing up from the fluffy cloud you're sitting on. Kazuha nods along, listening to you intently.

The cow moos, stepping back to jump over your boyfriend again.

A/N: no idea what I was on but I needed to make something else while working on stuff cuz I might go insane. Very late but merry christmas ‼️‼️

How long has it been?

Your eyes start to sting from how long you've been staring at the screen of your laptop. Your hand reaches for another chip while the other types your favorite show. 

You've been curled up like this for 2 days at least, and you're hoping that there aren't any stains on your blanket with how much you've been eating on your bed. Speaking of, you haven't been eating the best food either. Instant noodles, soda, cold leftover pizza, and whatever else you have left.

Aren't you supposed to be eating healthier things? 

A notification interrupts your train of thought.

You almost forgot why you've been here for who knows how long. You're sick. You've gotten sick for the third time this month. When was the last time you've taken your medicine? Wait, did you even buy any..?

Ping!

You sneeze before clicking onto the notification bar, tired eyes staring at the latest update.

Mom

You haven't been replying to my messages for a week. 

You're worrying me. 

You're worrying your teachers too.

Gosh.

Your eyes trail towards the abandoned project on your desk. You just realized the deadline is tomorrow.

Your eyes gradually move towards the window; even looking at the moon hurts your eyes.

What is wrong with you? Why can't you get your life together? 

 ...

"Hey."

Your eyes widen, and your head darts towards the direction of the soft voice behind you. 

Scara flinches; the coffee in his mug jumps too. It freaks him out a bit at how you just turned your head around.

Your gaze follows his movements as he (a bit awkwardly) makes his way towards you. Standing next to your crouched figure, he takes a sip of his coffee as he looks at the view outside. 

He doesn't say anything. He can see you watching him closely, however. 

Bonus:

You eventually stop and look at the rising sun instead.

"Ugh..." What time is it?

He looks down at the scattered papers on his desk; he's been cramming this since... 11 PM? 9? He doesn't know anymore.

His hand reaches for his phone but the its light makes him jolt backwards, squinting his eyes shut in the process. With squinted eyes, he extends his arms further away from him while he turns the brightness down.

5:44 AM

His back lets out a loud crack while stretching. He tries to take a sip of coffee from his poorly restored mug before looking down to find.. nothing. He should definitely get a refill.

Scara opens the door and peeks outside his room.

Oh uh...🧍

He looks at the kitchen then, back at you.

Deciding to leave you alone, he quietly makes his way to the pantry to get himself a packet of instant coffee.

....

That's weird. You're acting weird. He stirs his coffee, the sound of the metal spoon clinking against the mug fills the eerily quiet room.

A/n: this is kind of just a teaser before I release the actual one cuz I couldn't finish it today 👎

He's broke, really broke, and this is the only place that isn't an hour's commute from his workplace.

He pinches the bridge of his nose then takes a deep breath.

And... his mom has all but disowned him outright.

He runs his hand through his hair before reaching for the door knob, needing to turn it a little harder than usual because of how rusty the knob is in the inside.

The door creaks open slowly, he looks up at the ceiling first, nothing there. He looks at the view in front of him, okayyy... nothing.

He steps inside, rolling his luggage in before locking the door. His eyes scan the room again.

Ok. Good. Nothing.

He sighs in relief, maybe he was just seeing things after all. Things have been stressful lately so..

He stumbles a little before dragging his luggage into his bedroom, laying it down to unzip it. Has he always been this tired?

He slams his luggage open

What the fuck. 🙁

You're positioned like a really weird tetris block, you stare at him, your index fingers pointed upwards against the corners of your lips to help you make a smile on your face :).

He takes one deep breath. "Out! Get out." He starts to try and pry you out of his luggage but it feels like he's lifting bricks.

Eventually, you give up and decide to quickly scurry through the door with what he thinks is a sad look on your face. His hand combs through his hair again before looking down at his luggage. Where's my underwear..?

As you crawl away, you hear the door slam open.

"You." Scara looks at the trail of his socks and underwear you left behind. He massages his temples, leaning his head against the door behind him.

His arms wrap around you as he you hold his face, peppering it with a thousand kisses to make up for the time he was gone. Preparing a warm bubble bath for him and washing his hair as you talk about the things you've been up to while he was gone and vice versa. He sighs softly as you dry his hair, murmuring about something being so lucky to have you and how much he cherishes you. You only kiss his forehead in response.
