Hello dear. I hope you like it.

Henry viii

It was your second Christmas with your husband Henry and your son Prince Richard. In fact, Christmas was a holiday you always celebrated with love. Celebrating Christmas as a Queen was a really different experience. Moreover, it was your first Christmas with a baby in your womb. You were so happy and excited. The palace was cleaned from top to bottom and decorated magnificently. For Christmas, King Henry had literally bought a room full of gifts for you, Prince Richard and the baby. You couldn't decide what to buy for your husband. You decided to ask your husband what he wanted for Christmas. In his answer, he said that you, Prince Richard and the baby were the most wonderful gifts for him. In fact, you had a wonderful Christmas that you will never forget. The only wish you had for Christmas was to have a happy and healthy life with your husband and family.

Edward Seymour

Edward, it was your first Christmas with you and your son Henry. Edward never got tired of telling him that you had already given him the perfect gift for Christmas. Your son Henry and you were the perfect gifts for him that he would never forget for the rest of his life. The mansion was completely decorated for Christmas. You celebrated part of the holiday at the Palace and part at the mansion. When evening came, the two of you were lying on the furs in front of the fireplace. You were snuggled up against Edward's chest. You both watched the fire dance in the fireplace. Your wish for this Christmas was for your family to be together and happy.

Congratulation to the lovely @valentinopastine for becoming my last clinet of 2024 and the first of 2025 all at once!🎇🎆 At first I planned to finish this illustration before the end of "last" year, but I wanted to outdone myself, so I took my time. And I'm happy to have done it cause this is really what I wanted to post as my first illustration of this new year. I hope that my future artworks will be good as this one if not better. One of my OCS Judith. When she was a few weeks old, her parents were killed. She nearly died under the care of her then, four year old brother whom refused to let anyone, even their relatives, in the home after their parents were murdered there. But eventually, the two were rescued. Judith's older brother Jude, was sent to France to become a priest. Judith grew up in Italy with her aunt, and lived a very lavish life style as her aunt was wealthy. However, it was her uncles request, a bishop, that she become a nun. Judith went to England under her uncle's orders to once again, become a nun. However, she met a man and fell in love and that never happened. However, she reunited with her brother and some of her cousins and she is happy there. Always dresses in the Italian fashion.

could you talk more about your tudor period ocs! i find historical fiction characters so so interesting!

Omg! I have so many to talk about that I can't list them all in one post ! But thank you so much! I can talk about one however, and it's because I've written him in one of my recent poems/web weaves and his name is Jude!

Jude, in my historical fictions is part of the Gardiner family which we essentially know noting about. Jude's mother and father were murdered when he was a boy. He went into his uncle's custody and then his cousins, but by his uncle, he was made to go into the priesthood - he was ordained in France when he was 18.

Jude is a young English born French priest whom, while in France aided young noble women in becoming nuns if that is what they desired. This was either because they were very holy and wanted to be nuns, or, didn't want to get married. He also helped women who were forced into the holy life escape. Jude also ran a small clinic where he taught himself medicine and would treat people free of cost. He may have also been giving people medieval/renaissance abortion potions...

Jude's good deeds ended up getting him thrown in jail, to the point where he was eventually exiled from France.

He went to England and eventually became an assistant to a parish priest by the English - Irish border. That priest left and ran off with his mistress and that left Jude to take the responsibilities of the church by himself. Which he does. He pretty much makes the church a clinic, food kitchen, etc. A lot of interesting things happen in his parish.

Jude, who is not surprisingly gay himself, also helps smuggle gay men and women out of the country who are running away from their families. He shelters them in the church and allows them to stay. Jude is also very tolerant of others around him like, the woods he is in, has pagans and they are always invited to church celebrations.

Jude basically makes his church a place for people to stay and thrive. He loves festivals, music, dancing, and fashion.

Jude's church is eventually destroyed and raided during the dissolution of the monasteries.

In my main historical fiction for him, Jude's life comes to an end during the Pilgrimage of Grace, where he actually dies defending a protestant soldier. I toy with making this a historical figure, but in my mind during the uprising he does come across Richard Cromwell, whom may have been involved in suppressing the Pilgrimage of Grace. Jude is not really a participating of that, he is just in the area and he is aiding the Catholic rebels acting as a doctor/medic.

While this isn't very planned out because this isn't written, he does end up giving some form of medical aid to Richard and those two become very close. But Jude is killed by friendly fire, most likely from a Catholic who deemed him a traitor; though it was Jude's nature to help anyone regardless of their religion.

He dies and is buried by where his church used to be. And there is a legend that where his body is buried, there are flowers that bloom every spring because Just was known to have loved flowers.

Now, he pops up in some of my other stories in my head, but this is the original story I had for him. But who knows, he'll have some happier stories where he lives.

Some fun facts :D

Jude's father's name was John Gardiner and his mother was Judith, whom was married into the Gardiner family. Jude's mother is actually Black, and Jude has brown skin because of her. While his sister, Judith has dark skin like their mother. She goes off to marry a Seymour in my historical aus.

Jude has a nice, silly personality but he can be petty. However, he is a dreamer and while he is a priest he likes to gawk about how handsome men are.

Jude is also named after St. Jude, who is the patron saint of lost causes, which in my mind fits Jude's character. His church was named after/honored St. Christopher who was the patron saint of travelers, which made sense given Jude would always give shelter to travelers and people lost in the night.
