I was tagged days ago by @actuallyitsellie, but y'know, life.

So. Since I really just repurposed this blog when I came back to tumblr this year, my ACTUAL join date is sometime in Nov./Dec. 2009. I purged some stuff last week, so the earliest date I have is Dec. 7th, 2009.

But let's be more reasonable and accurate to 2024. My re-join date was: May 15th, 2024. I apparently did like 4 posts in February, but we're not counting those. This would make sense, given that spring semester would've been over and it was my birthday weekend.

i.e.:

Arguably the post I saw do the most numbers from very early on. For quite some time actually towards the end of the year, it sat between 750 and 800 and I kinda figured it had lost its momentum, but clearly people still love this one. Definitely the first time I felt like I "fit" in a fandom, too.

I mean we all know I live for the jokes that I'm using my psychology for free on the internet to interpret character choices. But honestly, this was so well received, and as time-consuming as the gif making was (and how rusty I am at it 😕), I'm still generally satisfied with how this turned out.

I was honestly sad to miss out on bucktommy positivity week basically both times around because I spent all of 2024 in classes, but this was one of the ones I got to do for outsider perspective, and was such a fun character study. I still giggle when I think about this joke too.

I wish I could go back and know what drew me to writing (other than how I wanted 709/10 to pan out, given your arson's match, but obviously I fell in easily because two weeks after my first post back on her, I was writing minis.

I got this when I had a homework assignment due at 11 PM and literally had to think about what I wanted to say WHILE doing that assignment 😂😂😂😂. Still, I feel pretty solid with what I said here. I always own the fact that I have no idea if I'll end up being right, but I feel like 2 decades of writing has given me a solid understanding of storytelling...... so if I'm wrong, I may just not watch the show anymore 😂

I think if I was going to rewrite this again, I'd maybe flesh it out a little more, put his character in more with the entirety of the episode? There's still so much opportunity the writers have in this position, to work Tommy into previous stories, especially when we still haven't had their first meeting.

I truly don't understand how we got this deep into this relationship, saw it end, and didn't ever get any kind of pet name, even in passing. If the inevitable helicopter crash happens and we still don't get at least ONE "baby" or "honey".... I will riot.

Sto pianificando di cucinare i cileni ripieni di zucchero.

Ci sto pensando da ieri: se non ho troppi impegni questa domenica, o la prossima, andrò al supermercato e comprerò tutto l'occorrente. È una pazzia? Eccome.

Innanzitutto, esistono già dei dolci con un nome simile, sono i Chilenitos dal Cile. Io però voglio fare qualcosa da zero, anche per evitare possibili danni diplomatici o scontri con Gabriel Boric, presidente del Paese e soprattutto un Swiftie.

La ricetta che ho in mente sarebbe: prendo lo zucchero e lo sciolgo finchè non diventa caramello, per evitare si solidifichi lo mischio o col burro o con la panna liquida rendendolo una crema (ci sono varie ricette su internet se qualcuno volesse provarci con me ma non ha mai preparato del caramello, questa sembra la più congeniale).

A questo punto il ripieno è pronto: se verrà fuori come lo voglio io, credo che prenderò dei cannoli già preparati da riempire, oppure se farò dei biscotti da zero (che non ho molta voglia ma chissà come mi gira) di che forma li potrei fare? Mucca? Sedere? Cellulare (questa impossibile)?. Oppure potrei fare dei semplici biscotti e guarnirli con del semplice caramello, ovvero cileni guarniti di zucchero e non più ripieni.

Ritornando alla prima ricetta, pensavo di fare qualche guarnizione per rendere la pasta il più possibile "gold" al riflesso della luce, magari bagnandola un po' col tuorlo dell'uovo oppure con qualche cremina: Mahmood è sardo da parte di madre e legatissimo a quella terra, tumblrini sardi c'è qualche cremina/guarnizione per dolci tipica della vostra isola che potrei utilizzare? Magari non troppo complessa o costosa, da trovare in breve tempo in Veneto, eheh.
