I have been obsessed with rice bowl's lately. They are so easy to make and tasty! On top of being easy to make they also are a great clean out the fridge meal! Every couple of days I go through our fridge to see what ingredients are on their last legs. This way I can use them up and avoid any waste. Not that we waste because we compost but I would rather eat it than the worms! This Greek bowl was made to use up the last of my @laurachenel goat yogurt and a few odds and ends of veggies. First I marinated some chicken in the goat yogurt, lemon and herbs. Baked that up and sliced it onto the bowl. *Turmeric Rice* A wonderful dish to serve with  chicken. I served the rice with slow roast chicken, but it goes well with many chicken dishes, or whatever meat you find fit and you enjoy do. *What is needed* 1 tablespoon butter 1 small onion, chopped 1 cup water 1 tablespoon ground turmeic 1cup basmatic rice, rinsed Salt *How it's done* Melt butter in a saucepan/pot over medium heat. Add onion and rice cook and stir for, about 5 minutes. Add water, turmeric, and salt stir well to combine. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook, covered, until rice is tender and liquid has been absorbed, about 15 minutes N.
