Erin has had beef with him since the events of Book 3. She hasn't exactly gotten over him tricking her friends into servitude and then kicking her out of the closest thing she could consider a home... He made it personal.

It's the same reason why she has a general disliking of Octavinelle, btw

In a physical fight, I think Erin could take him EASY. Azul has shown himself to be easily fatigued and rather uncoordinated on land. Erin's got a lot of fight in her so I'm pretty confident she would whoop him if it really came down to it.

On land, anyway.

If we were talking about an aquatic fight where he was in his octopus form, she's cooked. No question. The tweels have already confirmed he's much stronger in the water AND he's got eight extra appendages to work with.

This went through so many different sketches its ridiculous, but its finally at a spot I like :3 I really struggle drawing angry expressions so this was a good exercise.

I need to write out a solid timeline for Alexandra & Cullen’s relationship bc in my head theyre just bouncing between: normal workplace dislike/frustration with one another, caring for eachother in small moments & immediately repressing it, and “oh my god Cullen stop raising her up like a god. oh no shes stabbing him now. ok theyre killing eachother. Hm.”

Hello everyone. Mini-update here. We are hurtling toward the end of the month, and I know there's been a lack of concrete news on my end about next chapter. Apologies for that. Full disclosure, I've been struggling pretty hard with this chapter. I don't know if I'd fully call it burnout, but my faith in my writing skills has been at an all time low, and I'm not feeling as confident as I'd like.

Not to say I'm not working on chapter three, because I definitely am. It's over 110k words at this point. But I am struggling, and I wanted to be upfront about that.

This all being said, I've made the decision to split the chapter release into two parts. My goal is to finish and release the first part of the chapter in the next week or two. And then, ideally, the second part will come a little bit after that. I'm hoping that if I can stop worrying about finishing everything all at once I can get a solid update out and then quickly wrap up the rest.
