Ok I went to a fair and rode a very spinny ride called the KRAKEN and I think it rearranged all my organs so here is how I think the OFMD characters would be on this ride:
Ed: Would approach with swagger and gusto but be crying like a baby by the end.
Stede: Would be very nervous going in but have the time of his life be giggling the whole time.
Oluwande: Would take one look and say nope I'm good.
Jim: Would be suspicious but ride it to prove something. White knuckle teeth gritting the whole time.
Frenchie: Thinks it probably runs on witchcraft but has a great time, 10/10 would ride again.
Wee John: Mutters "oh no not good not good" for the first half but ends up having fun.
Roach: Gets dragged on, screams his head off the entire time.
Lucius: Claims he tweaked his back, refuses to ride.
Swede: Chill af, has a grand time.
Buttons: No birds allowed? I'm not getting on
Izzy: Rides out of spite, gets off and murders the operator so no one ever gets him on that death trap again.
Spanish Jackie: Constant stream of curses. Murders the replacement operator for good measure.

let's do some positive JB asks. how do you see the Davos Onion Wedding enterprise organising the wedding of the century? what will be the colour scheme? what location? do your best Janieeee
thank you anon
OKAY SO
first of all davos is a man of action ie he doesn’t want to wait for the good moment and so on, also they lost people and so on and IT’S A HAPPY OCCASION SO HE’LL GO FOR IT FOR FUCK’S SAKE therefore the moment people realize they’re hitched and they’re like weeell yes we want to be married at some point he goes like BUT WHY NOT NOW
SO: first he scores the entirety of the area but ngl winterfell isn’t doing too well when it comes to the inside but the godswood is absolutely safe and northern weddings don’t require septs so he’s going to have it in the fucking godswood if it’s going to kill him, but at this point like hell he’s going to make it sloppy.
therefore, he starts going around winterfell finding people to help him set the entire thing up after jon gives him leave because ofc everyone wants a good wedding to cheer their spirits up and at this point dany is like well if he marries her he’s certainly not a problem for me okay go ahead. first ofc he recruits pod who is ofc going to help with his parents’s wedding, then tormund actually volunteers because hey he wants brienne to be happy and if it’s jaime well he’ll find someone else, then he sees sandor sulking somewhere and he’s like THERE’S NO TIME TO SULK WE HAVE TO ORGANIZE A WEDDING HERE, then he goes to gendry like HEY ADOPTIVE SON #1 WE NEED YOUR FUCKING HELP HERE TOO GO CRAFT THEM A FEW WEAPONS WE NEED TO GIVE THEM GIFTS. then he goes to find sansa like ‘well we have a week we’re gonna need cloaks and jaime’s going to need a better set of clothes than the stuff he had on riding from king’s landing also brienne might not want to be married in chainmail ask her YOU KNOW FASHION IT’S YOUR PROBLEM’ and then he not so subtly sends missandei and dany to help them too so they can bond
at that point after he realizes that brienne would like the dress and would like it blue he sends pod scouring the castle for every scrap of blue fabric they can find so that they can adorn the main hall accordingly while arya volunteers to help out too because hey she likes brienne and she can high-five her on topping the hot dude of their dreams so she goes around looking for blue flowers and the likes, sandor is ofc recruited for the heavy lifting and the decorations around the hall while davos makes sure that the dress and cloaks sewing is working, then he goes to find tyrion because WE HAVE TO DECIDE WHO GIVES WHOM OUT AND SO ON.
this is the point where bronn shows up like yo guys wtf happened while I was away WHAT YOU COULD HAVE SAID YOU NEEDED SOMEONE WHO COULD KILL DRAGONS WAIT JAIME IS FINALLY MARRYING BRIENNE THANK FUCK LET ME GO PUNCH HIM FOR HAVING FIGURED IT OUT THIS LATE and at this point they decide that it’s only proper if davos officiates because hey he just has to check people say the vows, pod gives brienne away while sansa holds her cloak, tyrion gives jaime away and bronn holds the cloak.
also since everyone knows it’s jaime getting married into her house and not the contrary bc we srs they decide to go for pink and blue scheme at the godswood and just blue in the main hall, so just before the wedding day everyone spends the night adorning the godswood with blue and pink flowers and what blue and pink decorations they could spare from the main hall (suddenly all the crap the boltons left back in the day is useful if you cut off the flayed people from it) while the great hall is all blue, brienne shows up with the blue and pink dress that’s slightly essosi-fashion because dany and missandei contributed to it while with jaime in between salvaged tully stuff brought by catelyn back in the day that FOR SOME MIRACLE SURVIVED THE ENTIRE SHEBANG, leftover clothes from ned and what else they manage to get him a nice blue and grey outfit, ofc she puts her cloak on him because are we even srs??
also while stuff is being organized arya manages to send a raven to hot pie like HEY BRO CAN YOU SHOW UP HERE WE NEED GOOD COOKS and since it’s got and they have teleportation hot pie manages to show up with a few worthy apprentices like GUYS I’M IN CHARGE OF THE KITCHENS NOW BYE. there’s probably a subplot where he tries to teach gendry and pod to cook. gendry isn’t half-bad at it. and as the feast goes down davos stares at it like MY LEGACY LOOK AT THIS BEAUTIFUL WEDDING NOW WHEN CAN I PLAN THE NEXT ONE while staring not so subtly at both arya and gendry, missandei and grey worm, possibly sansa and tyrion and anyone that looks even remotely interested in tying the knot
I said what I said ;)
#jaime x brienne#otp: i dreamed of you#ch: davos seaworth#game of thrones spoilers for ts#LET'S HAVE NICE THINGS HUH#Anonymous#ask post

YEAR OF WHAT HAPPENS ON EARTH STAYS ON EARTH
[longer version of what I contributed to the new yorker’s year-end package. you can read that here, and listen to the accompanying megamix the video team made! links to previous year’s lists at bottom.] I did not grow up going to church, and I am not a particularly religious person. A few days after the inauguration, I wandered into a nearby church and took a seat in the back pews. I’d gone there right after the election. There was some time for anyone with anything on their mind to stand up and speak. If you need others to pray for you, just let us know. A middle-aged black man in a leather jacket got up and began telling us about an argument he was having with a friend on Facebook. It was about the election, but it was actually about the intractability of racism. He was getting frustrated while describing it to us, in part because he seemed to value being the cool and level-headed one. Plus he was describing the kind of argument millions of people were having on the Internet. “I just hope he finds peace,” the guy said. He paused, then put his hands on his chest. “On a lighter note, today would have been Jimi Hendrix’s seventy-fourth birthday.” He opened up his leather jacket to show everyone his Hendrix t-shirt. “I just wanted to say that, because he was just awesome.” So I returned here, the day after marching through Manhattan with a poster that said “HOLD ON, BE STRONG.” I needed to be in a room that was powered by something other than hate--to be reminded of vision and purpose, even if they weren’t mine to claim. To listen to wisdom gleaned from a book I’ve never read, and pick and choose what I wanted. To hear others pour themselves into songs I never, ever sing along to. I wanted to steal their vibes. Instead of a hymn, they passed out small pieces of paper with the lyrics of John Lennon’s “Imagine.” This is not the type of church people come to for the music. The pianist started playing, and I remember thinking about how it felt like magic when I learned how to play those chords as a kid. I couldn’t believe we were doing this. We sang, tentatively at first, as though we could not believe these words in this space. Picture it: singing of “no heaven” and “no religion, too,” with humility and hope, inside a house of worship. It was like an admission that faith was inadequate. All we had was one another. “Imagine” is a song I’ve heard millions of times, the type of song that is so ubiquitous that we rarely bother scrutinizing its words, its vantage point, the possibility that someone wrote these words because he actually believed them. I sang along with a room of strangers, and we looked at one another, and, for the first time in months, I began to cry. TWO LYRICS THAT REMINDED ME OF POLITICS EVEN IF THEY HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH POLITICS "Wrote this shit January 21″ “Take me back to November / Take me back to November” “I’M AN ANGRY TEENAGER” Novelist, “Street Politician” ONCE THEY START, I HAVE TO LISTEN TO THE END Jim O’Rourke’s recently unearthed cover of Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car” Kanye’s sitcom-length remix of “Bed” THURSDAY NIGHTS ON NBC Ross from Friends’ very Madchester guitar-y Boiler Room set DJ Seinfeld, Time Spent Away from U Nino Man, Jadakiss and Styles P, “Friends”

Its Here: Billie Eilish And Justin Bieber Are Bad Guys On New Collab
The rumors were true — duh! After not-so-subtly hinting at a collaboration earlier this week, Justin Bieber and his true No. 1 fan, Billie Eilish, have come through with their first (and hopefully not last) musical alliance.
On Thursday (July 11), Eilish surprise-released a new version of her viral hit “bad guy” that features a heavily Autotuned new verse from JB. “Yeah, I’m a bad guy / Ain’t no holdin’ back guy / Come off like a mad guy / Always got your back guy,” he sings, after a few bars dedicated to flaunting his “icy” wealth. The rest of the song remains mostly untouched, though Bieber does contribute some scattered ad-libs throughout.
The best part of this star-powered collab, though, is the photo that accompanies the release: it’s a throwback pic of Billie wearing a shockingly sparkly dance costume, in front of a wall plastered with Bieber posters. Take a better look at the pic below, which both pop stars posted on Instagram.
Interestingly, Eilish’s new star-powered remix could come just in time to block Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” from making history on the Billboard charts. “bad guy” currently sits at the No. 2 spot on the Hot 100, and a buzzy Bieber assist could be the push Eilish needs to get it on top. Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus’s behemoth hit, meanwhile, has logged its 14th week atop the chart, and is just two weeks away from tying the all-time record.
No matter what happens with the Bill-ieber team-up, though, consider this a win for both JB fans — who are hungry for new material from their fave — and Eilish herself, who’s clearly come so far since those days spent merely gazing at Justin on a wall. A true glow-up.

#OverloadMonday: Golden Era’s Kids Taking Over + Black Panther Arrives

Here's some overload for your Monday blues. Check out what went down this past week, February 5th - 11th.
Singles
youtube
Apple | Spotify | TIDAL
What’s to follow the Golden Era? Their kids of course. Diddy’s kids, the lot of them, are all talented and literally do everything from fashion, acting, music. After testing the waters with a couple tracks here and there, it seems like one of Diddy’s kids are ready. Christian “King” Combs has released a new single with Chris Brown titled “Love You Better” that shows King is not playing games. In a flip of Schoolly D’s “P.S.K. What Does It Mean” - or you may recognize it as “Touch Me Tease Me” - King shines through and damn does he sound like their father. I hear a bit of Mase in there, too.
We got new music from Cozz, Tee Grizzley x Meek Mill, Pollàri x Lil Skies, and Skizzy Mars.
Chris Rivers keeps his “Barzday Wednesday Freestyles” going. Now he enlists his sister, Star Rios, in his tribute to their father Big Pun on this past Wednesday which marked the 18th anniversary of Pun’s death - “You Ain’t Banned."
We also heard from Space Dolphin, Rae Sremmurd, Yung Pinch, and Lenny Grant x Tory Lanez x Aviator Keyz.
After all the big news and new music flowing with Pro Era, Joey Bada$$ drops his own new joint, “80 Blocks” featuring Chuck Strangers.
Oh, we’re not close to done…we ALSO got music from Lucki, Sage The Gemini x Trina, and MF DOOM x CZARFACE.
Check out a remix of Khalid’s “Location” with Jorja Smith and British rapper Wretch 32.
Lawd! This past week five people got together and made a six and a half minute track that will blow your mind. KXNG Crooked, Tech N9ne, Chino XL, Rittz and producer Statik Selektah all makeup Forever M.C.. With a compilation project on the way that will feature the likes of Talib Kweli, Royce 5’9”, The Game, and plenty more. To start they release their first joint together, “Terminally Ill.”
After a taking a year off, Jon Waltz returned with new music - “Backstreets."
And then there was...Stalley, Young Thug x 24hrs, and Dessa.
With a project in the works, check out IDK’s newest single with Denzel Curry - “No Wave.”
SOB x RBE have released their first single in a long time, “Carpoolin’.” Produced by Joe$$, the single is slated to appear on their upcoming project, Gangin’. While we’re on the topic of SOB x RBE, one of their members, YHUNG T.O has linked with Kamaiyah for her newest joint “Seasons."
Brent Faiyaz, the pure magically voice in the trio Sonder, and GoldLink’s “Crew,” released a not so new but still amazing track called “Make Luv.” Originally supposed to appear on Sonder’s debut album Sonder Son, the track didn’t clear because of sampling. Thankfully he’s able to release it now: Apple + Spotify.
In a HNHH freestyle session, female MC Molly Brazy made her big debut. It’s definitely a hot one, take a listen. After you listen to that, check out her latest single “Last Minute."
Ciscero links up with Goldlink and recruits April George and Cheakity for his newest single off his upcoming Devil’s Pie, “Function.”
Visuals
youtube
Another beautiful awe-inspiring visual from Dave Meyers and The Little Homies. From beginning to end…just damn! And the same can be said about the album. Watch the visual for Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s “All The Stars” above, and scroll down to check out Black Panther: The Album.
Black Youngsta dropped a hilarious video for his track, “Booty.”
We saw new visuals from the likes of Lud Foe, Towkio, and Rich Homie Quan.
After teasing it earlier on in the week, Wiz Khalifa released a visual treatment for his new joint track with Sosamann, “Best Life.”
After dropping The Saga Continues back in October, Wu-Tang have recently released a visual treatment for “Lesson Learn’d” starring Mathematics, Redman, and Inspectah Deck. W’s in the sky!
There were videos also released by DJ Mustard x RJ x Ty Dolla $ign and PARTYNEXTDOOR x Calvin Harris.
BlocBoy JB teamed up with Drake for his latest single, and visual, “Look Alive.”
J.I.D. pays homage to his favorite cartoon with a twist in “EdEddNEddy."
We also saw new visuals from Black Atlass, Nilüfer Yanya, and Tate Kobang x West Side Goldie.
Projects

Apple | TIDAL | Spotify
And its here! The highly anticipated - yes highly anticipated and we’re only in February - album for Black Panther that hits theaters this coming Friday (Feb 16th). Executive produced by Kendrick Lamar along with TDE, with contributions from Mike WiLL Made It, DJ Dahi, !llmind and several more. The 14-track album features the likes of The Weeknd, SZA, Swae Lee, Anderson .Paak, Travis Scott, Jay Rock and many more. No really, there’s a shit ton of people on this album. Pick your poison above, and stay plugged for a review.
Rock Abruham, Rayvn Lenae, Audio Push, Young Sizzle (aka Southside), and Ralo have all dropped projects this week.
As this year marks the 25th year anniversary of Wu-Tang’s big debut (Nov 9th), U-God has just released a new project for good measure. Bring Back God II comes in at 18 tracks and is laced with some good ol’ freestyles laid over some today’s hottest beats. Mixed and mastered by DJ Homicide, DJ Green Lantern provides some exclusives too. The tape serves as an introduction to his upcoming work, as he prepares to make 2018 his year. U-God has his memoir, RAW My Journey into The Wu-Tang, and his album, VENOM, dropping March 6th and March 30th, respectively. For now, Bring Back God II is available to stream and download via DatPiff.
As his first release of 2018, Kap G dropped his latest effort Real Migo Shit 4. The 10-track project features the likes of Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Baby, Don Ace, and more. Serving as a follow up to his Mood and Supa Jefe projects, Real Migo Shit 4 proves to be a pretty solid project.
2 Chainz has released a surprise project, The Play Don’t Care Who Makes It. It features the likes of YG, Offset, Street Runner and a few others. The EP can be found on SoundCloud.
SHIRT began his 2018 with a new single, “Flight Home,” and now he’s released his official debut album under Jack White’s Third Man Records. Coming in at 11-tracks, listen to PURE BEAUTY via Apple Music or Spotify.
Coming Soon...
youtube
After teasing the project last year, Bishop Nehru recently made an announcement that confirms the reunion between he and MF Doom on their Kaytranada-produced joint album. Titled Elevators: Act I & II, the album serves as a follow up to Nehru and Doom’s 2014 NehruvianDOOM.
"This project is a collection of my feelings straight from my heart, all of my ideas were created specifically off of instinct and intuitive occurrences. This album is my answer to the question, 'What would you say your music sound like?' My answer to that would be 'Grammy Rap.' There's 'Mumble Rap' and then there's 'Grammy Rap.' With this project I was largely influenced by music theory and Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys. This is my attempt at a 'rap' Pet Sounds.”
Along with the announcement, Nehru also dropped a trailer for the project that you can watch above. While Elevators is due March 16th, stay plugged for more updates.
Speaking of MF DOOM, he will be teaming up with CZARFACE for a new album titled Czarface Meets Metal Face. The album is set to release March 30th.
Finally, it’s about damn time! It looks like we can definitely expect an album from Anderson .Paak as he has confirmed it’s “almost done."
With Victory Lap coming out February 16th, Nipsey Hussle reveals the album’s tracklist. The album is loaded, featuring the likes of YG, Kendrick Lamar, The-Dream, CeeLo Green, and more. Check it out via his Instagram, and it’s available for pre-order.
SAINt JHN is finally gearing up to drop his debut album, Collection 1, on March 9th.

After releasing his joint track with Missy Elliott and Kelly Rowland, “Get It,” Busta Rhymes sat down with Billboard to talk about his upcoming album.
"The only thing I am going to say is that this is definitely going to be my most compelling body of work that I've ever put together. I haven't dropped an album in retail since 2009. I am really proud of this project. I was very patient with it and took my time. Patience was probably one of my greatest weapons when putting this project together because there were things I ended up stumbling on that ended up on the album years into the recording. I've been working on this album on and off for nine years. There's going to be an announcement made soon on the title and we should definitely be having this album drop before the midway point of 2018.”
Check out the rest of the interview where he talks about setting the tone with “Get It,” his Extinction Level Event album’s 20 year anniversary this year, and more. And stay plugged for more updates on Busta Rhymes and his upcoming album.
