I’m all wonky on my Daily Blog Challenge Posts, but yesterday’s was on point: Day 14: Tell Me About Your Significant Other: So, let me introduce you to my sweetie, Scott. #myhottiescottie We have been together for almost 5 1/2 years and we met online. Yup, he was the best thing to come out of Match.com. I had been on a few dates from Match, but was pretty discouraged overall – too many unwanted dick pics and painfully boring “dates” and too many offers to come over and get in the hot tub before even meeting face to face IRL. #uhnothanks I had canceled my membership but I still had a couple of weeks in the billing cycle, so I remained “live” on the site. I think Scott and I showed up in each other’s “daily matches” and he winked at me. I checked out his profile and scrolled past. Then I went back and looked again. #onsecondthought I wondered how – in a relatively small town I had lived in my whole life – I had never bumped into him. How had he and I each worked and lived in the same town for over 35 years and had never seen each other?
