A mockup of The Sims 2 CAS UI from the development stage. This family icon was used until July 2004. The UI icon of the sim was different, it brings to mind Lyla Grunt's icon in her old age, exactly the same lighting.

Half worldbuilding project, half mockups for a potential videogame in the future, Life in Sediment is whatever the heck I feel like drawing about it!

Salty seas lap at vast dunes of Katanafish-laden Sift which lead to mountains rich w both Kobalt and Kobolds! All lie in the shadow of the Fairy Tree, home of Harpies which swoop down at anything which dares climb towards the heavens and steal their precious fruits.

The Kobolds' caves lead deep through Spiraline infections and deep Tar, leading to impenetrable layers of Slade which hide an underworld of Demon kind, where vast cities hide in the Haze.

Meanwhile climbing up the Fairy Tree might offer gleams of truth of the source of the carcinogenic Orichalcum beaches, whose threads magnetically align themselves with the island of Mercury floating above.

What from below is a glassy threaded mess is above a veritable snowy wonderland, an island which fell low enough into the Plume to begin melting into Orichalcum.

This is not a world you can travel without a specialized suit fit for the zone you visit and a fair few rivets to patch it up!

You might also benefit from a lil Theseus drone to keep you company!

In this world Density, PH and other fun properties are lumped together into just the one "Eminence" (or EM)

High EM elements disintegrate in low EM elements and vice versa, which doesnt happen often in nature since high EM sinks in low EM.

EM also does not correlate to what state an element tends towards in room temp, meaning a liquid may float in gas and so might a solid.

A list of Elements sorted by EM (low is up) is also provided <3

Rivets replace HP as they are required to patch up your pressure suit ^^

Naturally, you die in 2 hits from anything if unprotected, plus the general bad things that happen when your feeble skin is exposed to the elements.
