F🤬ck it, T.F 141’s favorite animal head-canons ‘cause I’m in a good mood:

Price 💰

Dogs. I know, I know, a very basic answer, but to make up for it I’ve decided he’s specifically drawn to Weimaraners. They’re very intelligent dogs and he thinks they should get one as a K9 for 141. Known for great tracking skills, athleticism, and are also great swimmers. They are also very cute puppies, their head is usually bigger than their body 😆 They’re just as loyal as most dogs and tend to be very clingy and protective (if it wasn’t clear, I had a Weimaraner). If not for his dignity, he would beg Laswell to get them one, and she knows it.

Soap 🧼

Cockatoos. If you asked Soap his favorite animal, he’d tell you birds, but if you asked him on a more deeper level, he’d definitely start rambling about cockatoos. They’re part of the parrot family and they do talk, however, they are more known for being extremely loud 😂 If you scream, it’ll most likely scream back. They’re the definition of a wild child, probably the one creature on this planet that could talk and scream Soap’s ear off. They got to do something with that heavy amount of energy I guess. If you asked Soap why he likes cockatoos, he’d tell you: “They just got this crazed look in their eyes.”

Gaz ⛽️

Foxes. He likes the red ones because he thinks they’re pretty, but values them all equally. He just really likes the fox laugh; if he were to ever come across one, he would laugh with it. It just brings him so much joy. He once brought a baby fox to base back in his rookie days and one could describe it as: A euphoric child with a puppy. Foxes are known for being quick and sly, so when news got out to the rest of 141 that Kyle Garrick favors foxes, it was no surprise. Honestly, if Gaz were an animal, he would most likely be a fox. He definitely watches fox core videos spiritually.

Ghost ☠️

Manatees. Have you ever seen the video of a woman crying about how manatees are so nice that even other predators don’t want to harm them? Yeah, that’s Ghost pretty much. He likes them because they are factually very gentle and even sharks and alligators will give them the right-of-way. The only threat they really have are humans. The thought of anyone hurting a manatee for anything at all makes him bitter. If he ever sees a manatee, his eyes will practically start shining out of joy. He also thinks their nickname “sea cows” are very funny. I think aquatic life is his overall favorite, but manatees will always hold a special place in his heart. Fun fact, manatees will approach people just to kiss them. It’s on Ghost’s bucket list to make that happen. Ego be damned.

Forgive me for my lack of coherent English, I haven’t had a proper night of rest since the Germans invaded Poland.

Anyway—I had a thought that I personally haven’t seen anyone else mention or notice…and it’s about Ghost.

Ghost had a little brother named Thomas, but the name that is usually spoken to him is “Tommy.”

It is used as a more endearing term rather than a teasing one. Tommy has gravely accepted the name (despite not actually getting much screen time for him in the comics). The nickname is frankly never talked about; therefore, it is accepted.

Fast forward years later to Task Force 141, we get Soap. Soap’s name is John, later on he is known as “Johnny,” but even better, it was Ghost who gave him that name.

It’s a name that only Ghost calls him, it’s like their own personal little thing that Soap just…welcomes. It’s never brought up, never discussed…it was made into existence and it’s like they knew better than to talk about it.

Soap has even stated—OUT IN THE OPEN—that he only lets Ghost call him that.

Ghost: With Johnny’s help.

Alejandro: I can’t call Soap “Johnny”…

Soap: Don’t. Only Ghost can pull that off.

I don't really know how to put the words together and be specific about it, but this feels like something that Ghost does as a way of saying, "I like you." Like, not buddy-buddy or anything, but it's like holding a hand out to an aggressive cat; that's usually a human trying to say, "I'm friendly."

Can you imagine how hard it would be to get Ghost to even acknowledge something like that? This is the same man who has said, "I'm used to working alone," but also stayed behind for Soap anyway.

I just wonder if adding the letter "y" to the end of Soap's name was a direct reference to Ghost's little brother. Like, listen, I am a Ghoap shipper at heart, but taking off the Ghoap hat for canon reasons, this feels like a very sweet thing to give to a comrade. Ghost is so quiet and gentle with his version of affection (jokes, nicknames, loyalty, etc.) that I can't help but feel...happiness-aggression? I guess that's what I'll call it lol.

I can't help but feel like Soap sort of knew this, which is why he allowed the name to continue. It was something too sensitive and precious to even think about letting someone else call him "Johnny."

I think that's all I want to say. I feel like this would be an easier topic to dissect if we knew more about Tommy.

Now, I’m a sucker for all kinds of MaceGhost. We don’t know much about their interactions or Mace altogether, so I love that we as a fandom, can leave it all up to interpretation until further notice. Toxic, right person—wrong time angst, the corny married life, I love it all. I, however, would love to put in my two cents about their love life:

I feel like Ghost and Mace’s version of dirty talk is about how they would kill each other, especially when they know the other wouldn’t do it. The more violent it's described, the hornier they get lmao. They are a couple of FREAKS and they WILL tell each other how tasty the other's blood is.
