i tried a quiche today, at a cafe clearly customer-ed by rich people. i couldn't quite place why the baristas were like, colder than normal, but after a couple minutes of surveying their patronage i was like oh.. yeah. :( this is not the scene i'm used to!

anyway, it's night now. and you won't believe the set-up in my room. little context first: my congestion has been crazier than normal, sinuses just all out of whack, nostrils closing and opening at will. the left nose hole was like, dry today or something, so the corresponding left back of my throat was sore this evening. idk the actual cause and effect here, but maybe someday soon i'll educate myself on the anatomy of it all. anyway, i have too many important things happening over the next couple of days and i can't get sick or have any pestulancies (made-up word)!! since i had already steam-bathed myself over a cup of tea post-homemade-fish-taco-dinner, and it was kind of nice, i had some empirical evidence supporting the idea that adding moisture to my air & sleeping in that for hours would make a kind of difference, so, time to bust out the humidifier! but then-- the air purifier. hmmm, you see i wake up and sneeze every morning because of fucking dust or something idk. mold?! so i've been living with my new baby as we know...but would it dry out my new air? has it been? all thoughts i've had in the last 20 minutes. anyway, i go to fill up my humidifier with water, bam, she's working right away. i put her next to my bed and turn to the air purifier at the foot of my bed, turn it on. WHY IS IT READING AT 100?! oh mygod she turned on and boom numbers start flying up. what?! its normally at like...1. maybe 002. but we flew past the 70s into the 90s and past 100?! (don't ask me what it's measuring, idk, but number bigger = badder) so i was shocked! i ran her last night, with really no need! steady low numbers, even with/after candle burning. then wasn't in my room all day! maybe left my door open for a moment this evening... so that's an unsolved mystery. but i think ugh maybe the humidifier is too close to my bed, i don't want to get wet dirty air. so the two machines are now both at the foot of my bed, sharing the rug <3 sisters <3 so cute <3 and i am well taken care of. thank you, machines! please keep me healthy! (lol just realized the mug of tea i made a while ago is also still quite warm because of my electronic mug hahaha. that's so chic)

that was a lot of dumbness. but it excites me. what else. i had a proper adventure today. so much was inspiring me and filling my bucket i just had to write it down at the beginning of my afternoon class. let's take a look at the notion, shall we?

so i've got a lot going on, internally and externally. big woo. have to get up so early tomorrow-- i shouldnt be up right now-- to go to a catholic training about protecting god's children, mandatory for before i begin tutoring writing once a week at an in-need private school. awkwarrddd for the church! (it's about child sexual assault prevention.) curious to see how they approach the subject. but its early as fuck and a 20 minutes drive away. watching pretty little liars right now though and the two cunty moms are discussing divorce and dating again, lmfao. this show cracks me up. i told the elevator pitch version of my parents' divorces story today, only to realize i hadn't really talked about it in a while. a long while. not something i think about, those couple of months. shit was kind of...idk. don't think i have the right word.

i should get goinggg now. i know!! such a shame. isn't it so fun to read all these details?! it's fun for me to write them. i want to remember somehow.

Sounds more like you're bum hurt that I didn't respond to your criticism of character ai. I took my time to look into it since I didn't understand it. After I had a half decent idea, I didn't feel comfortable with it. I'm not holding anything above anyones heads, and non spoilt non entitled minds will understand this. I have written the next script to atrocity, but I dont physically and emotionally feel ready/right to record it yet, so I am stepping away from it in order to save the series from dying completely...I felt violated from the use of my creations in this setting and I took the steps necessary to protect myself and my project. If you don't understand that...that's fine....I won't lose any sleep over it regardless.

As for the accusing the people of failing to save a series....understand what a concept is? 'Tales from the void' was a fun way for me to try new stories out without the pressure from expectations of needing to do a whole new series. If it hits 10k then there is a demand for it..if not then it goes away and the audio can remain as it's own one off things. Yes, i said things like "you lot are seriously slacking" and mockingly said that I was offended (hint...not an awful lot actually offends me) which is my way of teasing, and regular viewers and supporters know that I am teasing them... They tease me back just as much. I am sorry that you grew up in an environment where you are unable to understand when someone is bantering and having a laugh. I will make sure to carry mood indicators next time I make a post so as not to offend you.

I'm not sure if you're aware of what a personality is? They're all different and include different senses of humour.. some like it, and some dont...not liking it doesn't mean that person is bad.

I have always listened to criticism if it is constructive. For example: people have commented on not doing enough M4A audios even though almost half of my audios are M4A...I wrote a post respecting that point and explaining, from my perspective, why I do a lot of M4F. If your criticism is "i don't like what you said, or how you are" I'm going to laugh at you because that is an indication that you just don't like me WHICH is absolutely fine and justified...but I won't waste time on that...I have a wonderful community who get me and who I trust to tell me straight if I ever do step out of line.

Hinting that you have other stuff really doesn't bother me either. I have always been happy to engage in debate, and I won't shy away from defending myself. I have been open about my insecurities in the past, and I have thanked and respected the hell out of my supporters for sticking around. I am proud of who I am and what I've done... I don't need to hide behind an anonymous title to say that either.

re the post about Scythe, it's not new behavior. This is pretty mild for him since it is in response to character.ai and that genuinely sucks. It did read as holding the series over fans' heads, but I get being unmotivated. Glad to hear he had more success with a DMCA takedown request, that's a better option.

Also recent were complaining other VAs like Siren "jumped on the no Ai chat character stealing band wagon now? 😅 guess it didn't matter when I said it 🤷‍♂️" for also pushing back on character.ai as if being anti-AI is his 'bandwagon', and saying he was "Actually a little offended" when his cyberpunk video didn't get as many views as he wanted, leading to several people I saw trying to artificially inflate the viewcount for a month after. - just looked this up, turns out he'd made several community posts at the time saying he'd trash the series if it didn't get 10k views in the first month. A commenter said "We failed to protect this audio, folks!" to which Scythe replied "Yeeeah ya did".

I could say more but I probably shouldn't, I don't want or enjoy drama, but there's so much about this guy that just gets swept under him calling himself problematic and manchild that I guess people take it as a character. I'll just say, there was a post a few days ago about how VAs respond to feedback, and Escaped made a great followup reblog on it. Scythe could do with reading it. I've seen the way he responds to feedback.

I hope he improves.

Some times when your hungry, all other aspects of life go out the window. Your logical mind shuts down and your guided by your need to feed. You lose track of your most decent thought, slowly your thoughts turn sour. The more you think of your next meal the more watery your mouth gets. Now your just waiting for the taste of fresh meat to touch your tongue, hoping it comes soon. Eyeing every option you have, counting every move you can make in one go around. In your mind, you play it over and over. Making sure every possible outcome is well played out. Hoping you dont miss anything, you see an opportunity. While on your move, suddenly a unwanted kink is thrown at your well planned armor and things start to derail and spiral into chaos. You stop, eyeing the unwanted company that strolled in on their happy mood upsetting your entire process. Acquiring you to gain eyes on a new target. This is a reasonable outcome to your chaotic situation you ended up in. Making the necessary round abouts you need to slowly circle and isolate your pray . When everything is on track, every little detail is made. Finely you do your normal checks. Making sure no one is visible or in a ears length. Moving in on your pray, their just happy you are spending time with them which makes it sort of sad but you dont care, all you want is to feed. This is what its all been about after all, right? Your need to feed. Getting as close as possible before they start to alarm themselves and finely realize their not safe any more. Then you strike, right as the glimpse of their joy slowly fades into fear and their hope shatters. You move like a cat, hitting them where it counts. Taking them down. Allowing you some time before having to hurry and finish the job. Enjoy this feed for it will be your only for a while.

It is the hour of still born expectancy. The grieving cake of another weekend approaching; Sitting in my worn out lot car, trying to convey the tears that sit in arbitration, without using words like "the" or "it" too much. A ringtone disturbs the pace of my pen, somebody in Wisconsin trying to fuck me somehow. Can't say I'd blame them, I'd fuck me. But I've never really been to Wisconsin, so I won't worry about disappointing them. I'll worry about disappointing you instead. Be on the lookout for my disappointment.

This is the first time doing this. So forgive me if I may be doing this wrong or if you don’t agree with what I am saying. I am creating this page because it is a dark time in society, and I want this to be my escape. I would like to keep myself anonymous as much as possible, because I want you to create an image of me. Any image at all. When I read a news article or a book, anything really, and I don’t know what that narrator or author looks like, it’s nice to come up with an imagine in my head. I would like you to do the same for me. Also, if you happen to know me (because you recognize my profile picture 🐶...) Please keep it to yourself. I am doing this for me during a time of needed escape and I hope that you reading can find an escape as well. I also don’t call myself an english expert of any kind, I just like to write my thoughts down. With that being said.... This is Me. 

I am going to go by H. My name is H and in the profile picture you see those are my too doggos Penny and Delilah. They are my life. And currently my whole life because the world has been advised to take action and stay home. We are going through a pandemic and it is hard. It is the hardest thing that most of us has ever done. Some of us are doing it better than others. Some are losing jobs, some are taking massive pay cuts. It is a scary time to be alive, to say the least. What I have to look forward to every day are those two doofy doogos in my picture. And my wonderful boyfriend, who I haven’t killed yet, A. (As I tell about my life an my stories I will refer to my friends, but I will give them different names. My boyfriend and I will stay 1 letter.) 

A and I have been together for 3 years now and it is the best decision I have ever made in my life. He is my ending. I didn’t always have the best track record with boys, so when I met A he was a breath of fresh air. He loves my doggos with all of his heart and I love the life I have built with him. So far him and I have been really effected by this pandemic. He is currently working from home and has had have a pay cut. My school closed down and I cannot work and since it is a corporate owned school they are going to stop paying us at a certain time. Everything is hard right now. Everyone is telling us to look at the good and keep our heads up. It is hard when you see no light at the end of the tunnel. Where do we go next? How do we end this? Is this going to end? Most of us are hopeful for a vaccine, but who knows how long that is going to take. These are really scary times.

All I can do is try to escape a little bit. And maybe help you escape a little bit too. I am H... And this is my story.

December 21/19: Lunch with Auntie N, my parents and C at Sansotei Ramen. Auntie N was here for a few weeks visiting from HK and it’s always so fun to hang out with her even when we’re doing mundane things, we’re always laughing. 

December 26/19: Had morning coffee and cookies with @nikimontage and adopted 2 of her snake plants, a dresser and a charging lamp hehe. She’s inspired me to come back to this blog - will be following along with her adventures in San Fran!

January 1/20: After picking up our dining chairs from Oakville, C and I went to visit my undergrad bestie and her baby. E is already 1+, isn’t she such a cutie?
