CHARACTER SHEET
FOCUS: Ell
“Ambition is key.”
Tumblr media
Full name: Ellenor C. Lace
Age: 18
Birthday: November 16th, 2006
Career(s) Former hit man in past teen years. What the hell? Anyway, she hangs around the house very often.
Hair color: Brown
Eye color: Amber brown
Height: 5’5
Pronouns: She/her
Sexuality: Lesbian
Species: Demon (ranking highly in authority in Hell due to a contract with Satan.)
Tendencies: Taps foot on the ground when impatient. It gets annoying eventually. She also has a strong disliking towards those who give off a bad feeling based off appearances. It’s mainly assumptions. Nothing personal (some of the time).
Obsessions: Uh.. drugs and.. really nothing.. except..
Arson. 138 buildings so far!
Quote:
“Revenge is always the best answer. If they can handle making you suffer, they will have to handle the consequences.”
Tumblr media
Personality: BIG pyromaniac.
Two faced.
Ell seems a bit bipolar, at first. As she figures you out, two things can happen; she will either become more tense and untrusting around you, or she will become comfortable telling you more about herself.
She generally is an overachiever and quick-thinking person on her outer shell, but once you break through that, she will only become more desperate and determined out of fear of being exposed. Once all is lost, she will most likely cave in and/or phase out of a stable consciousness.
Hides her narcissism with a selflessness demeanor when people ask her about her feelings on themselves or others. This is so she can conceal her genuine emotions on one in case she needs them for something.
In the fact that she dislikes herself so much, this causes Ell to pin the blame on others when they don’t do what she wants. For example: if insulted or criticized, the chances are she will respond with exasperation or turn the tables by insulting them.
Disorders: OCD, covert NPD, minor insomnia
Likes: Fire, arson, dopamine, revenge/vendetta/justice, kids (NOT IN A WEIRD WAY. SHE HAS A SOFT SPOT FOR THEM.), wealth, lighters, her sister, being alone.
Dislikes: Pancakes and pies who are men, stuffed animals (specifically lambs), herself.
Mental weaknesses: VERY heavy trust issues. If you somehow manage to get her to trust you over %75 she can easily be manipulated by you. When being confronted, she will become defensive and may let her true feelings about you slip up out of anger.
Do not steal one of her lighters, for everyone’s sake. If you do this, she will go feral. She has a sentimental connection to each and every one of them. Unless you are given them by her, I repeat, do not steal them.
Physical weaknesses: Whenever she goes into a blind fit of rage, she will become hostile towards anyone and more prone to being hurt from recklessness. She can die, but will come back shortly afterwards when the devil sends her back. However, bruises and injuries will only worsen every time she returns.
Combat: Her favorite weapon is a double-sided scythe. It is an unbreakable mix between angelic and demonic, sold straight from Hell at the hands of Satan. Ell typically uses it to slaughter or choke, but it is one of the things that helps her pose as a threat. She rarely uses the power it wields, which is fire manipulation. But, if you ask her about it, chances are she’ll give you a showcase. (I will add more details to this sooner or later)
When push comes to shove, Ell dislikes using hand-to-hand combat, as it is her lesser known side. However, she will still participate in it if it is absolutely necessary.
Family:
Selene Lace: Older sister (24)
Kaid Lace: Father (47)
Enora Jackson: Step-mother (44)

My media consumption in a 24-hour period:
Wake up - 5:45
I scroll through updates on social media. I’m a member of a professional group on Facebook and I see multiple articles posted concerning political events from a variety of news sources (The Hill, Forbes, UK Defense Journal, Politico, and The Atlantic).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
These sources are considered reputable and have low instances of bias (though some skew left and right), and report mostly facts with some analysis according to the Ad Fontes Media Bias Chart:
Tumblr media
Exercise - 6:00
I open up my GroundNews app in between sets and see what the updates are on there. I look for articles related to the political updates I read earlier to see the media bias.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I review the blindspots for the left and right.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I find the blindspots to sometimes be the most informative, as the news outlets on both sides have topics that they avoid. Sometimes because those topics do not fit their narratives, but also sometimes because the topics are untrue or exaggerated.
A break in between class - 10:28
I open up my phone and social media feeds. I see two memes from fact-checking science pages I follow:
Tumblr media
Source:
I opened the NYTs article and saw that high doses of Vitamin A are being reported as alternative medicine to replace vaccination, with repercussions already being reported regarding children's livers.
Tumblr media
Source:
Source:
I would ignore the Wikipedia article because I know that Wikipedia can sometimes not be very credible. Sometimes intentionally and sometimes unintentionally. I click on it this time so I can scroll to the bottom and check the sources. I see that some articles are not peer-reviewed, while others are from JSTOR and academic science journals.
I click through the peer-reviewed work on Lysenko’s research and it is very alarming, as Lysenko’s research is not viewed favorably by the scientific community.
I see a recommendation for me to follow a page:
Tumblr media
23andMe was always dangerous from a data perspective and I remember reading about the Pentagon recommending that service members not participate in the service.
Source:
Return home - 2:30
I get home from class and errands and look up YouTube to see if either Legal Eagle or Wisecrack has published any recent videos I haven’t seen.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I watch the Wisecrack video, as I'm familiar with Russian Active Measures and the approach that the Russian government takes regarding their media apparatus that pushes information into the United States.
Bedtime - 8:45
I open up Answers with Joe before bed because I see he uploaded a new video.
Tumblr media
The video is informative and I feel like I've been exposed to niche information that I would not otherwise have been exposed to.
I see the top comment and click on it.
Tumblr media
I click through the responses to see if there was pushback from this comment and also to see the arguments so I can look them up and see if there were any mistakes that I should be aware of.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I look up thorium to better understand the comments. There is more nuance at play than the original comment suggests, as thorium can be used to such results, but there are simply better options. Thorium, when irradiated, is more dangerous for a variety of reasons.
I feel more informed as a result of reading the comments and clicking through the discussion to ensure I'm not simply absorbing information at face value.
Reading the comments made me search thorium and I found a fact-checking article interviewing a scientist on the topic:
While this is a single day, I attempt to stay informed through all days. I like to follow registered dieticians (not wellness coaches or nutritionists) for advice on eating, toxicologists to round out my understanding of health issues, medical doctors who still practice for information on medical health issues, PhDs in sports science for information on fitness, and journalists with reputations of objectivity.
After writing down my media consumption, I feel comfortable with these sources and methodology, but I do know that not everyone is obsessed with the type of information that I'm obsessed with.
I can see that I seem to avoid questionable information and have developed a bit of a misinformation bubble that isolates me from the far-left and far-right rhetoric and clear misinformation more than the average person may allow themselves to be.
I would also say that my media consumption is very focused on political domestic policy, foreign policy, military and defense issues, and science news. Which is not likely a very average consumption range fan.
I noticed that I was inclined to fact-check the comments section of a YouTube video but did not look into the comments section of the news articles when comments were available. Similarly, while there were comments sections for the science memes, I did not click through them.

About the Boueibu iceberg
@delphoxqueen asked me to explain about my list for the iceberg so here it is. I might update this from time to time with links and stuff if I stumble across the original posts. This is all from what I know so feel free to add new info. Also, spoiler warning for RobiHachi and the Boueibu manga and novels. (This is like a masterpost it’s very long)
1. There’s a theory in tumblr about which decade the series is set in, using data like the friday the 13th calendar in s2 ep11. In HK we got a second number for when the next monthly Pretty Boy Contest was happening and using the one from Love it was theorized that around a decade had passed since then, which ended up being true.
2. The stage play had a few original songs and characters exclusive to it so unless you watched the full performance, you probably weren’t able to witness all of them. One of the characters is called “Robato Deniro”, as romanized in the stage play booklet I own.
3. The nurse and the cafeteria staff from the s1 mobile game appear in the background in around the first half of s2 ep3.
4. S2 had an unfinished manga that was only available online and was never released on physical format; it was centered around the defense club and sometimes the conquest club and Beppu brothers. All that’s left from what I know are the scans linked on magicalgirlsandcerulean’s blog.
5. This isn’t that obscure because it’s talked about in the anime, but I’m mentioning it because I think many people dropped it before the ova, where right at the beginning it is revealed that the alien that resucitated Mr. Tawarayama twice was, as described by Io, a “mulberry-colored naked mole rat-looking thing”, and was nicknamed “Moley-san” by Yumoto. At least in the anime, we had never heard before of who this was and it never appeared on screen nor was mentioned again.
6. In HK ep8, Karurusu promises the knights to grant a wish if they show him how earthlings spend summer. Kyoutarou reveals at the end of the episode that he wished that summer lasted one more day so he could spend it doing nothing, which prompts Ichiro to theorize that it’s the 32nd of august, and the next day is the second 1st of september.
7. The stage play was was held from march 10th to 13rd, of which the latter is Ryuu’s birthday. There’s an additional recording of a small celebration with cake focused on Ryuu and Io.
8. Atsushi mentions his older sister in the flashback at the beginning of s1 ep4, but she never appears or is mentioned again.
9. There’s a few posts on tumblr theorizing about what happened to the Hakone parents since Yumoto only says in s2 ep3 that according to Gora, “they are busy with their hot springs tour”. En mentions that it’s a bit suspicious, but it’s all the information we have from the anime. Posts talk about the parents perhaps passing away from an accident or an illness, thus the reason why Gora was so worried about Yumoto’s cold in s1 ep10, but from another post I think it’s implied in the second novel that they actually left their home when Yumoto was still a toddler.
10. It’s no secret that the surnames of the characters are all real onsens in Japan that even the seiyuus have visited, but apparently the Arima onsen has two different kinds of water, “kinsen (gold hot spring)” and “ginsen (silver hot spring)”, with different properties each, and the Kusatsu onsen water also has certain properties, both that were used to build the characters. Additionally, Ryuu’s favorite food are Sato Nishiki cherries, which are grown in the same prefecture, Yamagata, as his onsen, Zaou.
11. The press club lose relevance after s1, with only Kinosaki and Tazawa reappearing briefly in s2 ep2 to interview the Beppu twins after they arrive at the school. Tazawa doesn’t even have lines. Hireashi is mentioned by Zundar in ep11.
12. What the heck
Tumblr media Tumblr media
13. Exclusively in the manga we see that Arima met Kinshiro and Atsushi when they were little and they were good friends, but when they met again as adults, Kinshiro seemingly didn’t remember Arima. Atsushi, however, stated that Kinshiro’s talent is remembering people’s faces and names, so Arima wonders if he’s just trying to distance himself from him. He also explains to Akoya that he follows Kinshiro and obeys him because as a child, he was fascinated by his radiant smile. This is never talked about in the anime.
14. Like the previous point, the anime never shows Akoya being bullied, at most just a slight dislike of his full name, but the manga shows that he was made fun of for it and how he actually hates his surname, to the point of introducing himself formally to the president and vicepresident of the student council as “Holy Angel Akoya”.
15, 16, 17, 19. Batonama lives were the livestreams done through the franchise by the defense club seiyuus on youtube and niconico. They’re all on youtube, without any kind of translation.
Love-ko is a girl with a shell bikini drawn on a piece of cardboard that was used as a girlfriend in the Batonama Love! lives, acted by the seiyuus themselves.
RobiHachi has one episode full of official Boueibu artwork and a parody of the series too, a Love-ko doll appears, and Wombat appears as well, named “The Don”. It received an english dub, so for a bit, people were excited that Wombat was going to speak in english too. Also, various mechas appear in both Boueibu and RobiHachi.
18. The director of Fairy Ranmaru (Masakazu Hishida if I’m not wrong) revealed in an interview that he was inspired by Boueibu and aimed to make a show like that.
20, 21. The website super-groupies.com has results for defense and conquest club lingerie sets, dc and VEPPer tote bags, the Beppus’ scarf rings, dc bath sets and the pumps magicalgirlsandcerulean mentioned. I’ve found the s1 Loveracelets and Caerula Adamas’ ring on different sites, the True Loveracelets on TheChara’s twitter and the Happybraces (apparently called “Hapibure”) on broccoli.co.jp but I’m not sure where exactly they were all announced and sold, so I’ll just drop that.
22, 33. Boueibu was originally pretty much a copy of Sailor Moon, I think they were all going to be called “Lackluster Moon” and that stuff and be literally Sailor Moon genderbent. They were all different from color palettes to physical features (except Yumoto’s), and Ryuu was a shota, even smaller than Yumoto. Their names were also very reminiscent of the five Sailor Senshis’. Even if they made it more original, the show is still clearly inspired by Sailor Moon (just look at Caerula Adamas lol) and Pretty Cure. It has also referenced, very blatantly, animes like Doraemon, Detective Conan, Aikatsu and even Vocaloid, when Kyoutarou tries to guess what Karurusu is saying with ““Just Google It, Asshole”?” in ep1.
23. Wombat’s real name and the name of his planet sound like gibberish to the earthlings and ends up being named after the Earth animal, but Zundar, Dadacha, Karurusu and Furanui all have original names. And I think Hireashi means “goldfish”?
24. If you google “zundar technology”, it’s actually a company in Shanghai, China. Aren’t Wombat and Zundar always talking about “advanced alien technology”?
25. Zundar and Dadacha are siblings, so are Karurusu and Furanui, and so are their father King Kamopapa and their uncle minister Wao, but neither are the same species and, except the first two, not even the same color. But they are supposedly related because they share birthmarks or something like that...
26. Everyone who’s in this fandom knows about the pixel blur and voice pitch censor from s1, but I’ve added it anyway because it’s so rare for mahou shoujo and shounen animes to explain why the heroes aren’t recognized when transformed.
27. A good while of s2 ep11 is spent discussing Zundar’s ex-wife and his problems to give child support. Naturally, he gets mad at this.
28. “Money doesn’t betray” (s1 ep6) and “The despair hidden behind your smile that comes from not being understood” (s3 ep11) are sentences that came out of nowhere and implied that the people they were said by (Io) or about (Taiju) respectively had some kind of angst going on but were never explained at all. They’re famous for just that.
29. The Beppu twins’ house in Andromeda shown in flashbacks had strange green circles that apparently are from another anime I don’t know but honestly I didn’t get it very well... It was revealed on a tweet from Takamatsu.
30. Alien language mostly appeared in s2 due to the many flashbacks of Aki and Haru in Andromeda, but in Boueibu s1, it appears on the Zundar Needle before it is shot on the human. It appears a lot through RobiHachi as well, due to being a story about travelling through space. There might be an alphabetical chart somewhere, but I can’t assure it exists, I might even have dreamed it.
31. Hikaru Midorikawa as the melon monster, Kousuke Toriumi as the bishounen monster, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as the kotatsu and panda monsters and Takuya Eguchi as the remote controller monster in s1 and 2, before going on to voice the main cast in HK. Keisuke Koumoto voiced Hatchi Kita in RobiHachi as well as Akihiko in Boueibu, and the characters look similar.
A new addition is that so far Boueibu is the only anime I’ve seen where children weren’t voiced by female seiyuus, but by actual children. Personally, it’s charming and makes it so much more realistic, specifically since no women appear in the franchise at all either (not counting Protag-chan in the game).
32. Speaking of seiyuus, Can I Destroy The Earth? had a dub shown in ep11/12 (?) that made Gora the villain that wanted Earth to stay the same and not progress, against the monsters that supposedly wanted to bring good things to earthlings. Aki and Haru quickly dismissed this dub as fake. (I made a mistake in the title in the previous post btw)
34. As seen in the glossary in the Boueibu Mook (I think, but might not be the mook), Caerula Adamas’ speeches are based on an old japanese detergent commercial that went “Gold, silver, pearl, gift”.
35. In the manga there’s a short parody of the first chapter of Sailor Moon with “Pretty Boy Guardian Gakuran Akoya”. The conquest club manga was released before the anime, so I remember reading somewhere that a fake website appeared for the Gakuran Akoya manga, before turning into the conquest club manga website in the day of its release.
36. Cgi was used a few times in the anime: s2 ep10 for a short sequence of the defense club on a rollercoaster and the carousel monster, ep11 for a cenital shot of the Battle Lovers singing, and HK ep12 for the Honyalaland soldiers and the Wao mecha.
37. The toothbrush incident in s1 ep7. (It’s definitely well-known but it’s so weird lol)
38. “We hope we can see each other again someday!” Something along those lines was the last text to appear in the last episode of HK, implying a s2. We all know how that went.

OVERALL COMPANY
Gold Star is teaming up with VLive this quarter to host a special VLive relay as company promotion. This means that every artist under Gold Star Media (including the un-debuted members of Marigold and Quicksilver, who will do so under the moniker of Gold Star trainees) will be expected to do a solo VLive this quarter to participate in the relay. The date will be flexible with management, but it will be pre-scheduled and pre-announced and will need to last at least fifteen minutes, but can be longer. Due to delays in the finishing touches being put on the Base Culture Complex, BC, Dimensions, and Gold Star have also banded together to get some mediaplay opportunities and good media karma in the name of base by hosting a community service event each month together. Idols are encouraged to participate for good press, but they are not required to.
Important dates:
July 1-September 30: Gold Star VLive relay.
July 19: Volunteering opportunity at an animal shelter with BC & Dimensions idols.
August 30: Volunteering opportunity at an orphanage with BC & Dimensions idols.
September 20-22: Chuseok (no group schedules).
September 27: Volunteering opportunity delivering meals to the elderly with BC & Dimensions idols.
SILHOUETTE
Silhouette celebrates eleven years on the very first day of the quarter and will hold a group VLive to celebrate with their fans. They’re welcome to tease their upcoming comeback during that time as long as they don’t spoil too much, as it will have been announced by then. They come back on July 19th and the song does well to the standard of Silhouette’s last few releases. They also participate in festival season, having a few gigs booked to perform thanks to their general public appeal due to their longevity and mature image. They’ve also been chosen as ambassadors of LG phones and will record and film a special promotional single for the brand in August that will be released in September. On top of that, Silhouette is scheduled to release another mini-album before the year is out, which they’ll record in August after wrapping comeback promotions. In September, they’ll be learning the title track choreography and attending fittings.
Important dates:
July 1: 11th anniversary VLive.
July 19: Release of “Kill Bill” & Black Box album + press showcase, music show promotions continue through August 19.
July 24: Fan sign in Gangnam, Seoul
July 26: Fan sign in Gimpo.
August 2: Fan sign in Incheon.
August 4: Performance at Daegu Chimaek Festival in Daegu (also performing: BEE, Lipstick, & Gal.actic).
August 19: End of “Kill Bill” music show promotions.

September 28: “Decalcomanie” comeback fittings.
September 29: Performance at Cheonan World Dance Festival in Cheonan (also performing: 7ROPHY, Lucid, and Fuse).
ARIA
The first half of the quarter is spent finishing comeback preparations and Aria makes their comeback in August. It’s one of their more traditionally summer-themed releases and the response among both fans and the general public are mixed, but still generally positive. It’s not the hit song of the summer, but a full album makes fans happy (even if a sizable chunk of it is member solo tracks) and Aria continues to experiment with maturing their sound. They continue promotions through almost the end of the quarter with music shows and fan signs, and Gold Star has booked them for a few festivals to get the song out to more ears.
Important dates:
July 13: “Firework” comeback fittings.
July 20: Two of Us photo book shoot.
August 1: Performance at Suwon KT Wiz Supporters Festival in Suwon (also performing: Gal.actic and Aria).
August 2: “Firework” M/V” filming.

August 23: Fan sign in Yeouido, Seoul.
August 29: Fan sign in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul.
September 6: Fan sign in Gimpo.
September 10: Performance at Daeko Beer Festival.
September 19: End of “Firework” music show promotions.
September 24: Performance at Hero Concert (also performing: WISH and Fuse).
September 26: Performance at Hallyu Dream Concert in Gyeongju (also performing: Decipher, BEE, Lipstick, Knight, CHARM, Chroma Crystal, Gal.actic, Alien, MARS, Lucid, Silhouette, Origin, Impulse, and Fuse.)
ORIGIN
Origin is expected to continue to practice their performance of their comeback throughout July and August, but they will be flying in and out of Osaka over this time period as they kickstart the Japan leg of their tour. Most of their time is still spent in Seoul, though, since they have plenty of comeback preparations still left to do such as fittings, teaser photo shoots, and the music video filming. During this time before they’re busy with promotions, they’ll also record their next mini-album. Their single “Dynamite” is released in August and as their first true English single is an even bigger success than anyone really expected, though Gold Star put in a lot of work on their end to make sure it was successful. It tops the charts in countries all over the world, including South Korea and the US, earning them the first ever Billboard Hot 100 #1 for an all-South Korean act and dominating the Korean charts for an impressive length of time. They might just have another song of the year in the bag. Promotions continue as normal, with music shows and performances for overseas media, though they won’t be having any fan signs since it’s a single release.
Important dates:
July 13: Release of Map of the Soul: 7 ~ The Journey ~ Japanese album.
July 15: Map of the Soul tour concert at Kyocera Dome Osaka in Osaka, Japan.
July 17: Map of the Soul tour concert at Kyocera Dome Osaka in Osaka, Japan.

August 14: Map of the Soul tour concert at Kyocera Dome Osaka in Osaka, Japan.
August 20: Release of “Dynamite” single + press showcase, music show promotions continue through September 20.
September 6: Filming of Tiny Desk Concert (to be released: September 20).
September 12: Performance at the MTV Video Music Awards in New York, NY, USA.
September 26: Performance at Hallyu Dream Concert in Gyeongju (also performing: Decipher, BEE, Lipstick, Knight, CHARM, Chroma Crystal, Gal.actic, Alien, MARS, Lucid, Silhouette, Aria, Impulse, and Fuse.)
September 26: Filming of performances [2] [3] [4] [5] and segments [2] [3] [4] for “Origin Week” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
IMPULSE
Impulse will be traveling back and forth on their Impulse Road Tour throughout Asia and the US in July and August. Once they get back from tour, they’ll be preparing for their Japanese comeback and their Korean comeback at the same time. Though they’ll record their Japanese mini-album and learn the title track’s choreography in July, August will see them balancing fittings and photo book shoots for their Japanese comeback with recording their Korean comeback mini album. FUSE
Activity finally kicks back up for Fuse this quarter. They’re in high gear for comeback preparations as they finish preparing to make their first comeback in what will be a few days over a year at the time of release. On top of that, they have some performances in the form of festival concerts and one in their role as Shilla Duty Free ambassadors, and they also wrap up their La Rouge concert tour in Yokohama a few weeks before their comeback. “Hands Up” earns mixed opinions, as Fuse singles have often done in the past, but the song does well enough to prove Fuse shouldn’t be dungeoned long-term.

July 17: Performance* at Cass Blue Playground concert (also performing: Knight Light).  *the concert would be in-person

↳ FUSE B&W
Fuse B&W continue to promote “Naughty” throughout June with the regular round of music show promotions. It’s praised for its choreography and brings some extra attention to the members of the sub-unit and makes fans a little less antsy about a full group comeback, as both of the sub-units promotions were intended to.
Important dates:
July 21: End of “Naughty” music show promotions.
FEMME FATALE
Femme Fatale starts the quarter by finishing getting everything ready for their comeback at the very end of July. Shortly before their comeback, they make a festival appearance, something that’s become rare for them lately, and fans are excited to see them participate in one again. “Ice Cream” does well because they’re Femme Fatale, but it isn’t the un-paralleled hit Gold Star might have hoped for, as it ends up being a polarizing release among fan opinion. Luckily, they’ll already be working on their first full-length album by the time they make that comeback. They’ll record the album throughout July and August, and during their time off of promotions in August, they’ll also be in the dance studio to practice choreography for “Lovesick Girls” and “Pretty Savage”. Once they’re done promoting “Ice Cream”, September will be dedicated to finishing up The Album and they’ll also do a shoot for American Elle, where they’ll appear on the cover for October’s issue.
Important dates:
July 5: “Ice Cream” comeback fittings.
July 13: “Ice Cream” teaser photo shoot.

September 7: The Album photo book shoot.
September 15: “Lovesick Girls” M/V filming day one & teaser photo and concept video shoot.
September 16: “Lovesick Girls” M/V filming day two.
VIVE
Much like their debut quarter, this quarter is once again an incredibly busy one for Vive. They start it off with going overseas to the US for their showcase tour across the country. During their time in Chicago, they’ll film a special MV for their b-side “Our Summer”. Once they get back, they’ll performance at their first ever festival and they’ll work on getting down the choreography they’ll need to know for their next comeback (”Run Away”, “New Rules”, “Poppin’ Star”, “Can’t We Just Leave The Monster Alive?”, “Angel or Devil”) on rather short notice for how much they have to learn. Their Korean comeback is received well despite not garnering as much attention as their debut. There’s no time to bask in the glow of their first comeback, though as they’ll be busy all throughout late August and September prepping to make their Japanese debut by recording the mini-album. The group will also be recording their first ever OST in August, for release in September.
Important dates:
July 1: STAR in US showcase at Playstation Theatre in New York, NY, USA.

September 30: End of “Runaway” music show promotions.
MARIGOLD
First things first, Marigold will film the dance covers they practiced last quarter over the course of July. They’ll be released one by one until the final cover is released the day Marigold’s debut is planned to be announced to the press. Marigold begins to prep for their debut release in earnest this quarter. They’re confirmed internally for a debut in the second half of October with a single album. They’ll be given the chance to listen to the demos in early July and will record the single album throughout July and early August. In August, they’ll practice hard on their choreography for the title “Hocus Pocus” and the b-side “Be Ambitious”. They’ll be expected to work extra hard on all aspects of their debut preparation since they have a lot to live up to with Gold Star’s track record of girl group success. Comeback prep starts to wrap up in September for them. At the end of September, the group’s dance line will film a special cover video with Dingo as pre-debut promotion.
Important dates:
July 6: “16 Shots” dance cover filming (to be released: July 13).
July 9: “Baby Don’t Stop” dance cover filming (to be released: August 13).
July 20: “No Tears Left To Cry” dance cover filming (to be released: September 13).
July 23: “River” dance cover filming (to be released: September 20).
August 7: “Hocus Pocus” debut first fittings.

September 12: Be Ambitious! promotional single album photo book shoot.
September 25: Dingo Music debut song cover dance video filming (main dancer/vocal/rapper & main rapper/lead dancer/vocal only, to be released: October 6). *excluding Energetic & LATATA
September 30: “Hocus Pocus” M/V filming.
QUICKSILVER
The debut of Quicksilver is closer, but they have more time to prepare than Marigold, so Gold Star has arranged for them to get some additional training in the form of a pre-debut reality show that will be released shortly before their debut. For the show, they’ll be traveling to Los Angeles for two two-week periods to train at famous dance studios in the city. They’ll stay in a house rented out by the company and, in addition to training, they’ll show their team bonding through sightseeing locations such as Santa Monica Pier and Universal Studios and holding weekly group meetings. During their second two-week block, they’ll also focus on recording a pre-debut song and filming a low-budget music video for it in Los Angeles (*Junyoung’s lines will go to main rapper/lead dancer). They’ll film the performance videos they’d be rehearsing for before they leave, and in September, they’ll practice to film a cover of Knight’s “Growl”, which will also be released but will also serve as a way for Gold Star to gauge their improvement as a result of filming the reality show before they begin preparing for their debut more intensely next quarter.
Important dates:
July 8: Performance video I, II, & main dancer/lead vocal solo cover filming (to be released August 1, September 1, & October 1 respectively).
July 12-25: First block of American Training show filming.
July 24: Bonus Clip filming.
August 9-22: Second block of American Training show filming.
September 23: “Growl” cover video filming (to be released: November 1).

OVERALL COMPANY
The whole company has been booked for a photo shoot for an inside spread in Singles Magazine’s September issue to accompany a feature where creative director Choi Dongwook will discuss the company’s rise and creative vision. All of the company’s idols will be in and out of the set that day and will be taking pictures intermingled between groups. (Admin note: there are no assigned groupings for photos OOC, but the shoot director and photographer would make the groupings in-’verse).
July 19: Volunteering opportunity at an animal shelter with BC & Gold Star idols.
July 29: Singles Magazine September issue company photo shoot [2].
August 30: Volunteering opportunity at an orphanage with BC & Gold Star idols.
September 20-22: Chuseok (no group schedules).
September 27: Volunteering opportunity delivering meals to the elderly with BC & Gold Star idols.
GAL.ACTIC
Gal.actic turns ten this quarter, and for it, they’ll be holding two fanmeetings, one each in Seoul and Tokyo. The fanmeetings will be relaxed, with the itinerary consisting mostly of games and answering fan questions interlaced between performances of five of their past title tracks voted on by the fans to be performed beforehand (”Supa Dupa Diva”, “Would You Stay For Tea?”, “Sticky Sticky”, “A”, and “Someone Like U”). They’ll also be performing at festivals this quarter and, in August, they’ll begin to prepare for their next comeback, which is a little different than what they’ve done so far. They’ll record the single in the latter half of August and focus on choreography.
Important dates:
August 1: Performance at Suwon KT Wiz Supporters Festival in Suwon (also performing: Lipstick and Aria).
August 4: Performance at Daegu Chimaek Festival in Daegu (also performing: BEE, Lipstick, & Silhouette).
August 28: 10th Anniversary Fanmeeting at V-Hall Hongdae in Seoul.
September 4: 10th Anniversary Fanmeeting at K-Stage O! in Tokyo, Japan.
September 26: Performance at Hallyu Dream Concert in Gyeongju (also performing: Decipher, BEE, Lipstick, Knight, CHARM, Chroma Crystal, Alien, MARS, Lucid, Silhouette, Aria, Origin, Impulse, and Fuse.)
ALIEN
July is full of preparations, both for their upcoming comeback and their upcoming Japanese tour. They make their comeback in mid-August and while the songs weren’t chosen with the intention to appeal to the general public, they garner attention from more non-fans than usual and Alien finds themselves charting higher than they have since before their lawsuit. The interest they manage to gain from outside of their fandom causes some internal plan changes in Dimensions’ plans for them, but for Alien, it’s business as usual with music show promotions, fan signs, and a couple of festivals before they head out to Japan at the end of the quarter to begin their dome tour.
Important dates:
July 5: Alien Japan Dome Tour promotion materials and VCR shoot.
July 10: New Kids: Begin photo book shoot.

September 26: Performance at Hallyu Dream Concert in Gyeongju (also performing: Decipher, BEE, Lipstick, Knight, CHARM, Chroma Crystal, Gal.actic, MARS, Lucid, Silhouette, Aria, Origin, Impulse, and Fuse.)
MARS
MARS gets the beginning of July off before they go into the studio in the later half of the month to record for their next comeback mini-album already. As usual, this means that the following month, August, is reserved for intensive choreography practice and fittings in the tail end so that they can finish preparing for their comeback in September. In September, they’ll finish off preparing the album and film the music video and teasers before they come back at the very end of the month. They come back too late in the quarter to see long-term of results for the comeback, but it seems “Twilight” will have a similar performance to their last comeback.
Important dates:
August 22: “Twilight” comeback fittings.
September 2: Raise Us photo book shoot.
September 15: “Twilight” M/V and concept teaser filming.
September 26: Performance at Hallyu Dream Concert in Gyeongju (also performing: Decipher, BEE, Lipstick, Knight, CHARM, Chroma Crystal, Gal.actic, Alien, Lucid, Silhouette, Aria, Origin, Impulse, and Fuse.)
September 29: Release of “Twilight” & Raise Us mini-album + press showcase, music show promotions continue through October 29.
September 30: Fan sign in Dongjak, Seoul.
7ROPHY
Almost as soon as “Uh Oh” promotions end, the members of 7ROPHY fly out to New York from July 4 to July 7, in part to film a special performance video. The performance video isn’t the only reason the members are in town though, as they’ll be dropping by Republic Records in the city, who Dimensions has recently partnered with to sign 7ROPHY on with for further US promotions. The deal will be announced to the press in the back half of July. As soon as they get back to Seoul, they’ll go into the studio to record their next comeback. It’s another fast turnaround, but the last comeback planned for them for the year and a second attempt at a summer hit. They’ll be getting the choreography down in July as well, so that they’re prepared for filming the MV and making their comeback in August. They’ll spend the end of August and most of September promoting the song through music shows and a few festival performances.
Important dates:
July 2: End of “Uh Oh” music show promotions.
July 5: Be Original “Uh Oh” In New York video filming.
July 20: “Dumdi Dumdi” comeback fittings.
August 1: Dumdi Dumdi photo book shoot.
August 11: “Dumdi Dumdi” M/V filming.

September 29: Performance at Cheonan World Dance Festival in Cheonan (also performing: Lucid, Silhouette, and Fuse).
UNITY
Unity is slated to come back twice in the second half of the year, first with a single and then an album that serves as a part two to the one they already released this year. They’ll record the new songs on the album (line distribution) in July, and then prepare for their single release with choreography and fittings in August while the members of the CHAMPION subunit also focus on preparing for their comeback promotions. In September, they’ll film the single MV and shoot the teaser photos to prepare to make their comeback with it early in quarter four.
Important dates:
July 26: Performance at Ulsan Music Festival in Ulsan (also performing: Decipher, Lipstick, Knight, CHARM, Aria, Impulse, Fuse, Femme Fatale, and Vive).
August 22: “90s Love” comeback fittings.
September 19: “90s Love” teaser photo shoot.
September 23: “90s Love” M/V filming.
↳ CHAMPION
The third quarter houses the bulk of their comeback promotions. After recording the single last quarter in June, they do fittings and the teaser photo shoot in July in between learning and rehearsing the single’s choreography. In August, they keep practicing their performance and film the MV, and then finally make their comeback in September, promoting through the rest of the month to the very beginning of October. Mid-month, they win their first award as a sub-unit, the Seoul Mayor Award.
Important dates:
July 15: “100″ comeback fittings.
July 28: “100″ teaser photo shoot.
August 14: “100″ M/V filming.
September 2: “100″ M/V reaction filming.

September 8: Pre-filming of performance on Good Morning America (to be aired: September 9).
September 15: Attendance at Newsis K-Expo awards in Seoul.
LUCID
On the heels of the success of “Love Whisper”, Lucid finishes recording the added songs for their repackage in July shortly after their comeback promotions finish. Another appearance on Immortal Songs 2 precedes that and they’ve made themselves at home after a few appearances on the show now. They don’t win, but it’s more exposure, and that’s what counts. Fittings and photo book shoots from the repackage album occur in August, the same month they’re going over the choreography for the first time with the relentless hours Dimensions requires of them to keep up their reputation for clean choreography execution. The music video is filmed two weeks before they make their comeback, and while it does well, it doesn’t quite get the attention “Love Whisper” did, becoming the first of their normal realm releases not to peak in the top ten of Gaon since their debut.
Important dates:
July 2: Fan sign in Daejeon.
July 3: Fan sign in Mapo, Seoul.
July 9: Fan sign in Dongjak, Seoul.
July 10: Fan sign in Gimpo.
July 11: Fan sign in Seodaemun, Seoul.
July 14: Immortal Songs 2 filming (to be aired: July 26).
July 15: End of “Love Whisper music show promotions.
August 14: “Summer Rain” comeback fittings.
August 21: Rainbow photo book shoot.
September 1:  “Summer Rain” M/V filming.
September 15: Release of “Summer Rain” & Rainbow mini-album + press showcase, music show promotions continue through October 15.
September 16: Relay Dance video filming.
September 17: Performance at Chinese International Students’ Festival (also performing: Alien, 7ROPHY, Silhouette and Impulse).
September 18: Fan sign in Mapo, Seoul.
September 19: Fan sign in Incheon.
September 24: Performance at Sungkyunkwan University Festival.
September 25: Fan sign in Mapo, Seoul.
September 26: Performance at Hallyu Dream Concert in Gyeongju (also performing: Decipher, BEE, Lipstick, Knight, CHARM, Chroma Crystal, Gal.actic, Alien, MARS, Silhouette, Aria, Origin, Impulse, and Fuse.)
September 29: Performance at Cheonan World Dance Festival in Cheonan (also performing: 7ROPHY, Silhouette, and Fuse).

Up to three threads of eight posts (four per participant, including the starter) based on the monthly schedule. (three points each)

Reminder: Please do not post schedule posts in the fmdschedule tag.
Schedule posts for this quarter can be tagged with #fmdbceq221.
OVERALL COMPANY
2021 is BC Entertainment’s twenty-fifth year in business and the company plans to do a few things to commemorate that throughout the year. In the second quarter, the company is holding a gala with CEO Kim Byungchul as the guest of honor. The guest list mostly consists of business types for the sake of executive networking, but idols under the company are invited as well. Technically, attendance by BC idols is not mandatory, but management may push them very hard to attend if they see it as beneficial to do so.
Important dates:
April 24: BC Entertainment Gala at Intercontinental Hotel Parnas in Gangnam, Seoul.
June 8-13: Triple Fantasy Festival in Indio, CA, USA.
DECIPHER
Decipher makes their Japanese comeback at the beginning of April and will spend the next month and a half with occasional rehearsals for the concerts they’ll hold in Japan at the end of May. Most of their time this quarter will be spent on their next Korean comeback as a priority, though. Throughout April, they’ll record the album and will go in for fittings. This comeback has a dramatized MV, so the fittings are more focused on making sure the stylist’s vision matches the director’s vision once on the members than the probable need for any tailoring or avant garde styling. In May, they’ll get to learning the choreography and will shoot the music video ahead of the official release in June. Much of the filming will be individual for the music video since it involves a lot of acting with female actresses. Promotions for their new album will be the standard fare for Decipher: music shows, radio shows, and fan signs. This will be one of the busiest quarters of the year for Decipher, and the members are encouraged to invest themselves in group activities this quarter.
Important dates:
April 7: Release of “Mirai (Ashita)” & Mirai (Ashita) Japanese single album.
April 20: “It’s Okay” comeback M/V [2] and stage outfit fittings.

 ↳ Decipher R & V
No schedules for this quarter.
Important dates:
N/A.
 ↳ CHAMPION
Near the end of the month, the CHAMPION members will fly out to Japan to hold their concert at Tokyo Dome. Decipher and Knight have played Tokyo Dome before, but Unity hasn’t. Regardless of history, it’s a pretty big deal that a fresh sub-unit is playing such a venue, so BC and Dimensions wants to make sure it goes off without a hitch. After the concert ends, the unit members will begin working on a comeback as they go in to record a single in the studio in June.
Important dates:
April 29: We Are The Future Concert at Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan.
BEE
BEE’s second quarter of the year is spent riding out the rest of their most recent comeback era and preparing to make the summer comeback fans are anticipating even without any official announcement yet by recording the mini-album at the end of the quarter. The majority of April is occupied with the members’ continued promotions for “I’ll Be Yours”, including occasional fan signs and the continuing run of music show promotions. The song is well-received. It’s not another number one hit in their bags, but anything BEE releases is sure to peak easily within the top ten of charts due to their status of longevity, and “I’ll Be Yours” isn’t an exception. In time they aren’t promoting in April, BEE will be preparing to bring their Live Concert: B concert to Hong Kong. The set list will be the same as their Seoul dates, so rehearsals are intended to keep the members fresh on the stages and adjust to any minor set and prop changes needed due to taking the show out of the country. A photo shoot for Esquire Korea and more duties as ambassadors for 11 St round out the quarter’s activities.
Important dates:
April 5: Fansign in Gangnam, Seoul.
April 12: Fansign in Gimpo.
April 22: End of music show promotions.
April 28: Performance (I’ll Be Yours & Darling) for military at Seoul Air Base in Seongnam (also performing: BEE and Fuse).
May 1: Photo shoot for Esquire Korea’s June issue.
May 10: 11 St fansign.
May 14: Live Concert: B at Star Hall in Hong Kong.
June 26: Performance at 11 St. Shocking Deal All Night Party.
 ↳ 2BEE
No schedules for the quarter.
Important dates:

KNIGHT
Their comeback in mid-April is the main event of Knight’s second quarter. Promotions have been amped up some in comparison to their last comeback in response to Knight’s album sales’ slow but consistent downward trend. “RPM” doesn’t look to be the comeback that will break that trend, but BC is throwing Knight into filming some promotional videos and appearances, not to mention a drastically increased number of fan signs, to prevent angering anymore fans, some of whom are still opposed to BC’s collaboration with Dimensions to include Knight members in CHAMPION. The latter part of the quarter will bring other activities and preparations to focus on for the members of Knight in either CHAMPION or Knight Light, and will also have the members spending a lot of time preparing for the tour they’ll embark on in the second half of the year. The earliest preparations will begin in May with dance practices and early fittings, but June will bring the bulk of learning new choreography and preparing special remixes and stages. Each member will get a chance to perform a solo stage during the tour, consisting of one of the following two options: 1) a vocal and/or rap and/or dance cover of their choice or 2) their most recently released promoted solo single (if applicable), that they will begin to rehearse in June as well.
Important dates:
April 4: Photo shoot for Dazed Korea’s May issue.
April 5: RPM Intro Performance video filming (maknae/main dancer/rapper/vocal, lead vocal/lead dancer, & main dancer/vocal/rapper)
April 10: RPM Runner Live video filming.
April 12: Release of “RPM” & RPM mini-album + press showcase, music show promotions continue through May 12.
April 13: RPM Waiting Live video filming.
April 15: RPM Relay Dance video filming.
April 18: Fansign in Gimpo.
April 19: 1theK RPM Suit Dance video filming.
April 20: Fact iN Star filming.
April 23: Fan sign in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul.
April 24: Mini fanmeeting outside of Show! Music Core.
April 25: Fan sign in Gangnam, Seoul.
May 7: Fan sign in Jongno, Seoul.
May 11: Fan sign in Mapo, Seoul.
May 12: End of music show promotions.
 ↳ White Knight
No schedules for the quarter.

↳ Knight Light
This quarter, the pair are informed that BC plans for them to come back in July. In April, they’ll be invited to come sit in on sessions with company producers to help contribute to some of the songs for their comeback album if they’d like to. By May, the final track list will be officially confirmed and they’ll record the album. In June, they’ll finish comeback preparations with fittings, photo shoots, and M/V filming.
Important dates:
June 1: Comeback M/V [2] [3] [4] and stage outfit fittings.
June 7: 1 Billion Views photo book shoot.
June 19: “Telephone” M/V filming.
June 20: “Nothin’” Track M/V and “On Me” Track M/V filming.
June 21: “1 Billion Views” M/V filming.
LIPSTICK
Lipstick’s Ticket comeback is well-received. They don’t have the undivided attention of the public anymore the way they once did, but their fanbase is steady in the wake of Queendom and their hold on their specific subset of the market isn’t being very actively challenged these days. “Ticket” promotions proceed with the usual round of fan signs and, radio guestings, and music shows, but once they finished, they’re almost immediately called into a meeting with the news that they’ll begin working on their next comeback right away. While BEE is most well-known as the summer queens of the company, Lipstick is marketable for the season as well and BC wants to capitalize on that by pushing them for a special summer mini-album release. In May, they’ll be briefed on the concept of the comeback and will record the mini-album. In the back half of May, they’ll learn the choreography a little more rushed than usual. As June comes around, the focus will shift to fittings and photo shoots for the album jacket and promotion materials ahead of their comeback release in July.
Important dates:
April 2: Release of “Ticket” & Sweet Rendezvous mini-album + press showcase, music show promotions continue through May 2.
April 3: Fan sign in Gimpo.
April 5: Fan sign in Yongsan, Seoul.
April 12: Fan sign in Ilsan.
April 16: KBS Cool FM Kiss The Radio guesting.
April 19: Fan sign in Busan.
April 27: Fan sign in Gangnam, Seoul.
April 28: Performance (Ticket & Wild) for military at Seoul Air Base in Seongnam (also performing: BEE and Fuse).
May 2: End of music show promotions.
June 15: Comeback M/V and stage outfit fittings.
June 16: Comeback teaser and photo book shoot.
 ↳ Lip Gloss
No schedules for the quarter.
Important dates:

CHARM
After CHARM finishes their Korean comeback promotions, their team’s attention will turn to preparing for a Japanese comeback in June with a new single and mini-album. April will be spent recording the mini-album and learning the choreography. Choreography practice will continue into the following month leading up to the filming of the music video and the album jacket shoot. Around this time is also when CHARM will begin to rehearse for their Japan tour, which they’ll be holding in the third quarter. Luckily for them, this doesn’t involve learning much new choreography, as they should already be familiar with most of it.
Important dates:
April 8: End of music show promotions.
May 1: Japanese comeback wardrobe fittings.
May 9: “24H” M/V filming.
May 10: 24H album photo shoot.
June 6: 24H M/V reaction video filming.
June 7: Release of “24H” Japanese single.
June 22: Release of 24H Japanese mini-album.
June 26: Performance on Count Down TV.
 ↳ CHARM U
No schedules for the month.
Important dates:
N/A
WISH
"More & More” promotions carry through to the end of April. There isn’t much need to bother with additional schedules like radio show guestings or filming videos for other YouTube channels at WISH’s level, especially considering BC would like to let Chroma take that attention up in April as they promote their first sub-unit debut. After promotions have ended, WISH are quickly informed they’ll need to start preparing for their next comeback, which will start a trilogy of a more elegant lean within their color pop concept. In May, after they’ve had a photo shoot for the cover of the American Harper’s Bazaar (a benefit of their recent signing with an American label), they’ll be in the studio to record the mini-album and, at the end of the month, will be spending time in the dance studio to learn the choreography. June will involve the final comeback preparations, including fittings and the album photo shoot before the members make their comeback in July.
Important dates:
April 5: Fansign in Yongsan, Seoul.
April 12: Fansign in Gangnam, Seoul.
April 19: Fansign in Yeouido, Seoul.
April 29: End of music show promotions.
May 1: Photo shoot for Harper’s Bazaar’s May issue cover.
May 8: Estee Lauder fan sign.
June 1: Comeback M/V and stage outfit wardrobe fittings.
June 15: COLOR*WISH mini-album photo shoot.
CHROMA
While the members of Chroma Crystal make their debut as a new unit, the second batch of members slowly eases into preparations to release their solo singles in this quarter. While everyone is working on their own schedules, the members will also begin to film another predebut project BC has in mind for them — a webdrama. They’ve been cast in these roles and in May and June, they’ll film the first season and its special clips. Multiple seasons of the webdrama are planned to get the group’s name out. (Admin note: Characters will have the muse’s name and not the Loona members’ names.)
[Orange] will record her song and learn the choreography in April so that she’s prepared to film her music video (which [Indigo] makes a pre-reveal appearance in) in May. This leads into her official single release in the final month of the quarter. Chroma’s fans are growing with each solo single release, hers included.
[Yellow], on the other hand, begins to record her song and learn its choreography in May (after receiving the original demo the month prior) and the music video will be filmed in June — there’s winter imagery in the song for a “Christmas in summer” feeling that BC thinks will make her standout, or it represents something about Chroma’s lore timeline being out of chronological order; it’s unclear as she gets different explanations from different staff that makes it seem like not everyone is on the same page. [Orange] makes a prominent appearance in her music video.
[Indigo] starts going into the studio in June to record her song, and will work on the choreography the same month, though she’ll spend the beginning of the quarter being sent demos for potential songs as BC whittles down the list to decide what she’ll debut with.
As with all previous releases, other members are encouraged to come visit the other members during their individual preparations so that the company can record behind-the-scenes videos of members interacting.
Important dates:
April 3: [Violet] End of music show promotions.
May 10: [Orange] “New” M/V filming.
June 5: [Yellow] “Heart Attack” M/V filming.
June 6: [Orange] Release of “New” + press showcase, music show promotions continue through July 6.
↳ CHROMA CRYSTAL
This quarter, the unit makes their debut with “Girl Front” and will promote on music shows for a month before immediately coming back with “Sweet Crazy Love”. The members will hold their first fansigns over the two months of consecutive promotions. For the most part, promotions will be kept to music shows, fan signs, and a few interviews and appearances during “Sweet Crazy Love” promotions.
On the final day of their repackage promotions, the unit will hold their first ever fanmeeting for fans. They’ll hold two shows on the same day, one in the afternoon and one in the evening. The members will give live performances of “Starlight”, “Sweet Crazy Love”, “Loonatic”, a medley of their solo songs, and a cover of Knight’s “My Answer”. Each of the three members will also have to perform a solo cover stage of their choice during the fanmeeting. They have to sing/rap for the cover (it can’t be a dance-only cover), aren’t allowed to cover another member’s solo, and should keep in mind the small stage size (elaborate production and backup dancers/vocalists won’t be available). In between songs, the members will talk about themselves, such as their training experience, experiences preparing their solo and unit songs, and their hopes for the group, and at the end, they’ll take questions and requests from attendees through an open KakaoTalk chat room.
Important dates:
April 4: Release of “Girl Front” & Mix & Match mini-album + press showcase, music show promotions continue through May 4.
April 7: Performance (Girl Front) at Nonsan Strawberry Festival in Nonsan (also performing: Lucid).
April 12: Max & Match repackage album photo shoot.
April 19: “Sweet Crazy Love” M/V filming day one (on-location scenes).
April 26: “Sweet Crazy Love” M/V filming day two (studio scenes).
May 5: Release of “Sweet Crazy Love” & Max & Match mini-album + press showcase, music show promotions continue through June 5.
May 7: Fact iN Star appearance filming.
May 10: InnerView interview + performance [2] filming.
June 5: Chroma Studio : Crystal Hertz fanmeeting at Hongdae MUV Hall.
June 5: End of music show promotions.
June 19: Performance (Girl Front & Sweet Crazy Love) at 1m1won Charity Walkathon (also performing: Gal.actic and 7ROPHY)

Owl House Runes: Masterpost
As a Gravity Falls veteran, I was super excited to discover codes hidden in the background in episodes of The Owl House. @anistarrose did a lot of the grunt work of the decoding (under “#toh codes” on their blog), but I wanted to offer my own theories on the system behind the runes. I believe that the runes aren’t just meant to be a phonetic script, but a direct substitution cipher for the International Phonetic Alphabet, specifically the American English subset. Now, I’m no linguist, but I think I have a good overview. This is gonna be long, so look under the readmore.
Update: Finally added the words from the last two episodes. That was long overdue.
IPA Overview
English IPA is composed of 44 phonemes: 24 consonant sounds, 12 vowel sounds, and 8 dipthongs (sets of 2 vowel sounds put together):
Tumblr media
A few other notes:
While dictionaries use e, due to it actually referring to a sound made with a British accent, linguists prefer to use ɛ.
ɔ is a duplicitous bastard that someone decided should represent both the call and fork sounds. In English transcriptions, ɔ is changed to ɒ in the former case (since ɑ and ɒ make the same sound), so I’ll do the same here.
Known Runic Words & Translations
Let’s start with what we know for sure.
Tumblr media
This chalkboard from I Was a Teenage Abomination illustrates 18 different runes, and gives pronunciations for 7 of them. In addition, the row of consonants appears to be alphabetical, suggesting meanings for 7 more. This gives us a good baseline that can be applied to these examples of runic text. The translations can then be cross referenced with IPA translations via tophonetics.com (and, since it’s not 100% accurate, a lot of pronouncing words to myself)
From Covention:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
HISTORY COVEN (hɪstəri kəvɛn)
Pretty straightforward, introduces new runes.
From Lost in Language:
Tumblr media
ANCIENT TEXTS (eɪnʃənt teksts)
This shows that, much like a real-world script, there are different variants on each character, like serifs and fonts; for instance, the runes representing N in COVEN and ANCIENT are almost but not quite identical (there is also a third variant in the hidden words). There’s also the fact that the second word seems to cut off in the middle. I don’t know if it’s a typo or if it means that that last rune can also mean ts.
Hypothesized Translations
Now we enter the realm of speculation. There does seem to be a bit of inconsistency in this area: I don’t know if it means symbols can have multiple meanings or if there are errors on the part of the artists. Only time will tell, I guess. I chose to use the eye messages as the baseline, since sans serif is really convincing. From there, I mostly made educated guesses.
Tumblr media
This is all the words marked with eyes so far, in order of episode. According to @anistarrose‘s work, this translates to
TWO WITCHES TORN APART, NOW ALONE. TWO HEARTS OF STONE...
In IPA: tu wɪtʃɪz tɔrn əpɑrt, nɑʊ əloʊn. tu hɑrts əv stoʊn...
Notably, the circular rune in “torn” and “alone” represents a slightly different sound (ɔ vs. oʊ)  in each. I chose to believe this meant it had two meanings, since as aforementioned, ɔ is the worst.
From Hooty’s Moving Hassle:
Tumblr media
Based on the context, this probably translates to LUNAR MAGIC (lunər mædʒɪk). This is our first consistency error: in previous translations: the A-shaped rune represented a, while the upside-down V was ə. This indicates that at the very least the two should be in swapped positions. This would mean “A” also means æ, but the writers could have meant to write its flipped variant (shown on the chalkboard, which I assumed to be ɒ) or another vowel rune entirely.
From Once Upon a Swap:
Tumblr media
These two posters have the same message, which appears to translate to “HUNTER’S MARK” (hʌntɜrs mɑrk). They were also in a background made for A Lying Witch and a Warden, apparently, which may have been when the code was still in development, which would account for why some of the glyphs look a bit iffy.
Bonus Features
Early on in @anistarrose‘s decoding process, they noted that some of the runes had similarity to Cyrillic letters. Well, it turns out that nearly all the consonants have Cyrillic counterparts with similar sounds. You’ll probably notice said similarities in the chart below:
Tumblr media
This doesn’t do much besides confirm what we already know, but it also lets us speculate that the missing b, d, f, and ʒ runes resemble Б, Д, Ф, and Ж, respectively.
TL;DR
By making a font in calligraphr, I was able to construct a chart of everything we know so far. If I can, I’ll show updates as they appear in additional posts.
Tumblr media
By the way, the font I used can be downloaded here, so you can make your own message, because who wouldn’t want that, honestly? That’s incomplete too, so future posts will have that updated as well.

In the below table please take your time to view some of Fx Pro's features & benefits:
Start Trading Like A Pro With Fx Pro
Tumblr media
Is FxPro Safe?
FxPro is considered very low-risk, with an overall Trust Score of 93 out of 99. FxPro is not publicly traded and does not operate a bank. FxPro is authorized by one tier-1 regulator (high trust), two tier-2 regulators (average trust), and one tier-3 regulator (low trust). FxPro is fully authorized & regulated by the following tier-1 regulators: Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Fx Pro is extremely unlikely to be a scam broker. and has been tried & tested by Fx Brokers Empire.
Commissions and Fees FxPro's pricing is slightly higher than the industry average, putting it at a small disadvantage compared to its peers, such as Etoro or HF Markets, who both also offer the full MetaTrader and cTrader suites just like FxPro does. However what they lose in price is far outweighed with better options & service. Execution method: On FxPro MT4, you can choose either variable or fixed spreads. For the variable spread pricing, there are two types of execution-based pricing: instant and market. Instant execution is subject to requotes but no slippage, while market execution has the potential for slippage but without requotes. Commissions: FxPro offers its most competitive spreads on its cTrader platform, which uses commission-based pricing. FxPro's effective spread to trade EUR/USD is roughly 1.27 pips, based on 0.37 average spread + 0.9 pip commission equivalent on cTrader, using August 2020 data. Spreads: FxPro's floating rate model (variable spread) is available on both MT4 and MT5, with EUR/USD spreads of 1.57 pips for accounts on market execution (1.51 pips on MT5) and 1.71 for accounts with instant execution, as per August 2020 data from FxPro. Fixed pricing: On MT5, there is no fixed spread offering, and only market execution is available. Other platforms such as MT4 and web traders offer fixed pricing models. Active traders: FxPro offers an Active Trader program, & provides loyalty rewards for its longstanding traders. Executing large orders: Without question, FxPro's best feature is its ability to execute large trading orders, which can be placed with no minimum distance away from the current market price. A high liquidity broker which is important for high frequency & big money traders
Platforms and Tools Thanks to offering MetaTrader, cTrader, and its own in built proprietary FxPro Edge web platform, traders at FxPro have a diverse selection of platform options depending on their trading style. Both beginners & experts can enjoy trading and perform with there respective platforms. MetaTrader suite: FxPro offers the MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5) platform for web and desktop. A notable add-on is available for MT4 which is the suite of trading tools from Trading Central that can be rather helpful. cTrader: The FxPro cTrader platform is available for web and desktop. The cAlgo platform can also be used to enable algorithmic trading when using cTrader at FxPro. Proprietary platform: FxPro Edge is a light web-based platform that has robust charts and a responsive design. There are a few default layouts, and users can drag and drop the modules to rearrange them and add new widgets. Overall, there is a good foundation established for the future, especially for such a new in built platform. There will definitely be more updated features to this platform to enhance traders performance. Research FxPro provides great daily market updates and analysis on its blog, along with content from third-party providers. Overall, we found the written articles from FxPro's in-house staff to be of a good quality. More Video content would help fill the gap in research, as FxPro's YouTube channel is mostly webinars, platform tutorials, and promotional videos. FxPro News blog: There are multiple articles per day available on FxPro's dedicated blog, including its 'Market Snapshots' series. These articles provide a daily outlook and are nicely organized, making it easy to consume, understand & apply in volatile market conditions. Traders dashboard: FxPro has a client portal where users can access sentiment data for various symbols and forex pairs, along with the trading session times and a summary of gainers and losers. There is also an integrated economic calendar. Adding trading capabilities to the client portal, or merging these features with the Edge platform, would help to centralize these resources in one place.Fx Pro Education FxPro has a general education section where it provides written materials, along with some educational videos on its website. Overall, FxPro has a good foundation of educational content. Expanding its coverage and adding other videos on some more advanced trading elements would balance out the FxPro educational offering.Written content: FxPro's educational section features mini cards with key information and short paragraphs explaining things like "what is a stop out" in less than six sentences. There are 36 cards in the Psychology section and four other areas, each with a collection of learning cards. There is even progress tracking, so you know which modules or chapters you have finished, which is a nice touch.
Mobile Trading
Alongside providing its proprietary FxPro Direct app for trading, account management, and basic market news, FxPro's mobile lineup is powered by the same third-party providers as its desktop and web-based platforms: MetaTrader (Meta Quotes) and cTrader (Spotware).
cTrader: FxPro's white-labeled version of cTrader is consistent with the web-based platform, offering traders a really friendly & easy to use trading experience with a variety of trading tools. As far as third-party mobile apps go, cTrader is very versatile.
MetaTrader: The mobile versions of the MT4 and MT5 platforms are presented as standard from the developer with default features. In 2021, FxPro is a Best in Class MetaTrader Broker due to a range on smart trading indicators & strong liquidity.
FxPro Direct: The FxPro Direct app is the broker's proprietary mobile app which supports trading for users that have a CFD account, but is mainly optimized for account management. With just a quotes, trades, and history tab, we found that the FxPro Direct app was not very ideal for trading, compared to FxPro's other available mobile platforms. Meanwhile, the FxPro Edge platform is not yet available for mobile.
While FxPro does not stand out for its pricing, FxPro is a well-capitalized, trustworthy broker that offers multiple platform options, multiple execution methods, and, for professionals, can cleanly execute large orders. Fx Pro Trust FxPro scores quite well when it comes to reputation and trustworthiness. Most importantly, they are regulated in the United Kingdom, which is reputedly safer than some regulators in the EU. FxPro also advertises that they have one of the highest counterparty credit ratings in the industry, scoring  a whopping 95 on a hundred point scale, where a high score indicates a lower risk of default or bankruptcy. They also participate in the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) that allows clients to claim compensation in the event FxPro were to become insolvent up to £80,000. They also offer clients negative balance protection under new EU guidelines that prevent clients from losing more money than they have deposited. So they are clearly not worried about liquidity issues as they have good insurances in place. One negative for FxPro is the absence of guaranteed stop‑loss orders. Some brokers offer this feature for a fee, but this is not offered by FxPro at all. Fx Pro Special Features FxPro offers traders algorithmic trading through cTrader, which is an advanced algo and technical indicator coding application that allows traders to create and build algorithmic trading strategies and custom indicators. This is a smart technological feature that is not offered by many brokers and definitely worth checking out. FxPro also offers a Virtual Private Server (VPS) that enables clients to upload and run MT4 Expert Advisors and algo bots, 24 hours a day, without needing to keep the trading terminal running. These applications also allow for back testing of trading strategies.
Fx Pro Customer Support FxPro prides itself on its "five‑star customer service," specifically its multilingual, 24‑hour Monday‑through‑Friday (24/5) customer service team. Their live phone support operates in several locations with a toll‑free number in the U.K., France, Germany, UAE, and Russia. Live chat is offered for both live trading clients and prospective clients. Unlike other brokers, they have a physical office in London with a reception desk that is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Some social media support is available on Twitter, but this is mainly news related rather than specifically for customer support.
Please Note: The FCA has a ban in place for the sale of crypto-derivatives to UK retail consumers as from 6th January 2021.
Fx Brokers Empire's Conclusion For Fx Pro
We recommend trading with this broker and find it to be a very trustworthy broker. Due to its popularity and multi tiered regulations, Fx Pro is extremely unlikely to be a scam. Fx Brokers Empire recommends using Fx Pro for its high liquidity & execution service. Along with outstanding customer support based on our own experiences & our client feedback. Using there run on line 'Trade Like A Pro' they definitely have weight in there words and offer some decent trading features. We further recommend not to start a investment account with Fx Pro in excess of £25,000 initially until you get used to the platform offered and all its features. Fx Pro is a highly popular trading choice & has a well branded name that delivers results for its traders, across Europe, Asia & most definitely in the UK as a trusted broker.
Fx Brokers Empire rates Fx Pro as a 4.5/5 star broker

FEBRUARY 2021 DIMENSIONS ENTERTAINMENT SCHEDULES & REVIEW
Members may earn 3 points each (up to 6 points) for writing, by the end of March 7 KST:
A solo para of 400+ words based on their monthly schedule (does not count toward your monthly total).
A thread of six posts (three per participant, including the starter) based on their monthly schedule.
Threads do not have to take place directly during an important date listed on the schedule, but must be related to what the muse is mentioned to be doing in the paragraph explaining their schedule/the company’s schedule for the month and/or their thoughts on the mentioned activities or lack thereof.
These schedules may be updated throughout the month if new information needs to be added.
Reminder: January schedule posts are due by the end of February 7 KST. Please do not post schedule posts in the fmdschedule tag.
OVERALL COMPANY
As usual, all idols under the company will get three days off for Seollal unless they have any individual schedules taking place over those days.
Important dates:
February 11-13: Seollal holiday (no activities save for any individual schedules).
DIMENSIONS SOLOIST 1
The A&R team is in the final stages of finalizing everything for her to begin work on a new comeback this year, but it isn’t quite ready yet, so they’re sending her out to do some press instead. She’ll have a longer break between comebacks than the company’s other two soloists this year, so they want to make sure she’s kept in the public eye enough for her to be able to reel in attention for her comeback. These schedules include three different radio show guest appearances and a video that will be filmed for a Spanish channel aimed at the idol music fan demographic where she’s tested on her Spanish knowledge.
Important dates:
February 5: Guesting on KSB Cool FM Kiss The Radio radio show.
February 15: Guesting on KBS Music Plaza radio show.
February 16: Hola82 Guess The Spanish Words video filming.
February 24: Guesting on FM4U Song of Hope radio show.
DIMENSIONS SOLOIST 2
With most of the promotional materials for his comeback shot and the album recorded, he’s set to film the comeback’s music video at the end of the month. Being a fandom-based soloist can only sustain him for so long, so Dimensions is hoping to aim the promotional tactics of this comeback a little more toward the general public, while still keeping his base of fans in mind. This means an emphasis on him practicing having strong live vocals with an engaging performance and a special acting lesson, the date of which will be based around his own availability, aimed to help him prepare for the acting aspects of his new music video.
Important dates:
February 27: When It Rains M/V filming.
DIMENSIONS SOLOIST 3
It’s been confirmed: she’s not a one-hit wonder. “Rain” is a big success on the charts and proves that “I” wasn’t a one-off lucky success and that she has genuine appeal with the public and fans who will remain around to support her as a solo artist. Promotions for this single are sparse save for music show promotions since Dimensions would like to focus on promotions around her planned mini-album later this year instead, but she will be making her first ever solo appearance on Yoo Heeyeol’s Sketchbook a few days after making her comeback, where she’ll perform “Rain” in addition to two tracks off of her debut mini-album: “I” and “Gemini”.
Important dates:
February 3: Release of “Rain”+ press showcase, music show promotions continue through March 3.
February 6: Yoo Heeyeol’s Sketchbook filming (to air: February 12)
GAL.ACTIC
Management has booked Gal.actic another photo shoot gig for the March issue of a magazine. Their goal seems to be to give the group a burst of press a couple of months before their comeback to rope in interested fans. Speaking of their comeback, Dimensions will be bringing the members into the studio this month to record for their next comeback mini-album. They appear to have some success in their slight marketing shift to appeal to female consumers, so this comeback sticks with that market goal more in mind than has been their historical aim.
Important dates:
February 3: Photo shoot for Dazed and Confused Korea’s March issue.
ALIEN
It’s the final full month before their comeback, so the members to have to work on getting the final promotional contents finished, including their photo book and teaser photos and a series of trailers that will be released leading up to the comeback. The music video will be filmed only two days after the trailers, right after their return from the Seollal holiday. The rest of the month will be spent rehearsing their performance.
Important dates:
February 10: Comeback photo book and teaser photo shoot.
February 14: Fantasia X trailers filming.
February 16: Fantasia M/V filming.
MARS
They release their Japanese album this month, but they won’t be traveling to promote it and meet fans until next month. In the meantime, they’ll use the time they have between their Japanese album release and the need to travel to head into the studio to record for their next comeback mini-album. This comeback concept stays in line with their darker, theatrical side that they tend to be associated with. Dimensions is proud to advertise them as a group that can a variety of concepts, but they’re also aware that darker concepts are what people think of first when they think of MARS and don’t want to risk losing that brand identity.

Norman Whitfield
Tumblr media
Norman Jesse Whitfield (May 12, 1940 – September 16, 2008) was an American songwriter and producer, who worked with Berry Gordy's Motown labels during the 1960s. He has been credited as one of the creators of the Motown Sound and of the late-1960s subgenre of psychedelic soul.
During his 25-year career, Whitfield co-wrote and produced many enduring hits for Motown artists, including "Ain't Too Proud to Beg", "(I Know) I'm Losing You", "I Heard It Through the Grapevine", "Cloud Nine", "I Can't Get Next to You", "War", "Ball of Confusion (That's What the World Is Today)", "Just My Imagination (Running Away with Me)", "Smiling Faces Sometimes", and "Papa Was a Rollin' Stone". Whitfield worked extensively with The Temptations as a producer and songwriter. He produced eight of their albums between 1969 and 1973. He then started his own label, Whitfield Records, in 1975, which yielded the Rose Royce hit "Car Wash". Alongside his Motown lyrical collaborator Barrett Strong, he was inducted into the Songwriter's Hall of Fame in 2004. He wrote or co-wrote 61 hits on the UK charts and 92 on the US charts.
Early life and education
Whitfield was a native of Harlem, New York, and spent much of his teen years in local pool halls. In his late teens, he and his family moved to Detroit, Michigan, so that his father could join his sister and work in her husband's chain of drug stores, Barthwell Drugs. He attended Northwestern High School.
Career
At 19, Whitfield began frequenting Motown's Hitsville USA offices for a chance to work for the growing label. Founder Berry Gordy Jr. recognized Whitfield's persistence and hired him for the quality control department, which determined which songs would or would not be released. Whitfield joined Motown's in-house songwriting staff, co-writing the Marvin Gaye hit "Pride & Joy", The Marvelettes's "Too Many Fish in the Sea" and The Velvelettes's "Needle in a Haystack". He took over Smokey Robinson's role as the main producer for The Temptations in 1966, after his "Ain't Too Proud to Beg" performed better than Robinson's "Get Ready" on the pop charts.
The Temptations
From 1966 to 1974, Whitfield produced virtually all of the Temptations' music, experimenting with sound effects and other production techniques. He found a songwriting collaborator in lyricist Barrett Strong, the performer on Motown's first hit record, "Money (That's What I Want)", and wrote material for the Temptations and other Motown artists such as Marvin Gaye and Gladys Knight & the Pips, both of whom recorded Whitfield-produced hit versions of the Whitfield/Strong composition "I Heard It Through the Grapevine". The Gladys Knight & the Pips' version was the best-selling Motown single so far, but it was surpassed a year later by Gaye's version.
After Temptations lead singer David Ruffin was replaced by Dennis Edwards in 1968, Whitfield moved the group into a harder, darker sound that featured a blend of psychedelic rock and funk heavily inspired by the work of Sly & the Family Stone and Funkadelic. He added contemporary song topics, moving from love songs to the social issues of the time, such as war, poverty and politics. The first Temptations single to feature this new psychedelic soul style was "Cloud Nine" in late 1968, which earned Motown its first Grammy Award for Best Rhythm & Blues Performance by a Duo or Group, Vocal or Instrumental). A second Grammy Award for Best R&B Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group for Whitfield and the Temptations came in 1973 with "Papa Was A Rollin' Stone". The single's instrumental B-side earned Whitfield and arranger Paul Riser a Grammy Award for Best R&B Instrumental Performance, and Whitfield and Strong shared the songwriters' award for Best Rhythm and Blues Song.
"Psychedelic soul" and the break with Motown
The psychedelic soul records Whitfield produced for The Temptations and other artists such as Edwin Starr and The Undisputed Truth experimented with and updated the Motown sound for the late-1960s. Longer songs, distorted guitars, multitracked drums, and inventive vocal arrangements became trademarks of Whitfield's productions, and later of records produced by Motown staffers he coached, including Frank Wilson. But friction and antagonism grew between Whitfield and the Temptations; the group hated how Whitfield put more emphasis on the instrumentation instead of their vocals, and that he was writing fewer romantic ballads for them.
Whitfield often recorded notably different versions of songs with different artists in search of a hit, and did so successfully in the cases of Edwin Starr, with "War" (1970; originally recorded by The Temptations), and The Undisputed Truth, with "Smiling Faces Sometimes" (1971; also originally by The Temptations). "Papa Was A Rollin' Stone" (1972) was done first by The Undisputed Truth, before Whitfield rerecorded the song with The Temptations for a longer, more definitive (and massively successful) version. One of Whitfield's last major hits at Motown was Yvonne Fair's "It Should Have Been Me" (1975), a song he had written in 1963 and recorded originally with Kim Weston.
Whitfield Records and later years
In 1975, Whitfield left Motown, following its move from Detroit, to form his own label, Whitfield Records. His first act was The Undisputed Truth, whom he had convinced to leave Motown, followed by Rose Royce, Willie Hutch, Yvonne Fair, Nytro, Mammatapee and Junior Walker. The Undisputed Truth scored their second biggest hit in 1976 with the disco song "You + Me = Love", their first single on Whitfield Records. Norman Whitfield had an international smash hit in 1976 with Rose Royce's "Car Wash", issued on MCA Records. Rose Royce (whose members were originally Edwin Starr's backing band while at Motown) went on to record three more popular albums, and had two huge UK hits with "Wishing on a Star" (1977) and "Love Don't Live Here Anymore" (1978), but could never top the success of "Car Wash", which served as the theme song to the 1976 motion picture Car Wash. The Car Wash soundtrack won Whitfield a Grammy Award for Best Album of Best Original Score Written for a Motion Picture or a Television Special. He also composed the theme song for the 1977 motion picture Which Way Is Up?, performed by Stargard. He produced soul group Masterpiece in 1980.
In the early 1980s, Whitfield began working as a producer for Motown again, helming the Temptations' 1983 hit single "Sail Away" and the soundtrack to The Last Dragon.
On January 18, 2005, Whitfield pleaded guilty for failing to report royalty income he earned from 1995 to 1999 to the Internal Revenue Service. Facing charges of tax evasion on more than $2 million worth of income, he was sentenced to six months of house confinement and a $25,000 fine. He was not imprisoned because of health problems such as diabetes.
During his last months alive, Whitfield was bed-ridden at Los Angeles's Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he underwent treatment for diabetes and other ailments. Whitfield fell into a coma, briefly improved, but eventually succumbed to diabetic complications. Whitfield died on September 16, 2008. He is interred in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park (Hollywood Hills).

JANUARY 2020 GOLD STAR MEDIA SCHEDULES & REVIEW
Members may earn 3 points each (up to 6 points) for writing, by the end of February 7 KST:
A solo para of 400+ words based on their monthly schedule (does not count toward your monthly total).
A thread of six posts (three per participant, including the starter) based on their monthly schedule.
Threads do not have to take place directly during an important date listed on the schedule, but must be related to what the muse is mentioned to be doing in the paragraph explaining their schedule/the company’s schedule for the month and/or their thoughts on the mentioned activities or lack thereof.
These schedules may be updated throughout the month if new information needs to be added.
Reminder: December schedule posts are due by the end of January 7 KST.
Overall Company
Now that they’ve proven themselves to be the company to beat, Gold Star is more interested in proving the strength of their artists to investors than giving fans the endless stream of content they’d prefer, if the beginning of the year meeting is anything to go by. Gold Star is the dominant idol company in the west, and that’s another title they’re interested in keeping. Compared to past years, the plans shared at this year’s meeting seem much more about image than ever before and many artists under them are only looking at one comeback this year. If nothing else, everyone will have the Seollal break to mull over the company’s evolution.
Important dates:
January 13: Meeting for company artists and those who work directly with them (managers, PR, etc.) headed by CEO Bang Sunyoung. Gold Star Media’s mission statements and overall plans for 2020 will be delivered.
January 24-26: Seollal break (no activities save for specific voluntary individual schedules).
Various dates (up to individual muse): As per usual January Gold Star custom, all group members and soloists will be required to individually schedule beginning of the year medical check-up appointments on Gold Star’s dollar if they have not had one in the past six months. This will be slightly media-played as it is every year by the company as the company having a clean bill of health regardless of the results, although any medical concerns will be privately addressed.
Gold Star Soloist 1
A final track list for her comeback this year is coming into place with discussions between her and the appropriate departments, although Gold Star gets the final word on it as always. As such, she’ll be in the studio for the month to record final vocals for the narrowing track list. Gold Star has it officially nailed down that she’ll be releasing a single without a music video off the album in March before coming back with the album itself with another single, this time with a music video, in May, after which, she’ll be preparing to tour in the second half of the year.
Important dates:
N/A
Gold Star Soloist 2
She will begin her national tour next month, so January brings with it a lot of late night concert rehearsals at the Gold Star building. In addition to her hits and fan favorite songs, she’ll be performing a few covers at the request of Gold Star’s concert team that she’ll need to be practicing too: an encore dance medley of Bad Guy X Senorita X 2002, a vocal cover of Speechless, and a vocal cover of Into The Unknown. Stage outfit fittings will happen mid-month.
Important dates:
January 18: Tour stage outfit fittings (examples: 1, 2, 3)
Gold Star Soloist 3
The 23rd of this month is his seven year debut anniversary, and as such he’ll be doing a small and simple fanmeeting for his fans before he gets Seollal off. He has a lot of freedom for the fan sign to make the anniversary as genuine as possible, so he’ll get to choose which of his songs he’d like to perform (as long as he includes his most recent singles). Gold Star will supply gifts for all of his fans attend from brands endorsed by other Gold Star artists.
Important dates:
January 23: Seventh anniversary fan meeting at Blue Square Market Hall.
Silhouette
Silhouette will be touring Japan next month. It’s not a tour with very extravagant staging, so they’ll mostly only be rehearsing their top hits, their Japanese songs, and their most recent songs this month to be in top performance shape for the tour. On the 11th, they’ll need to go in to fittings for their stage outfits to make sure all of the stylists’ choices are easy to dance in and flattering to each member.
Important dates:
January 11: Tour stage outfit fittings (examples: 1, 2, 3)
Aria
Aria will be promoting themselves a little past the end of promotions this time around since the holiday season took away so many promotional opportunities for them. They’ll be filming an appearance on the newly-returned Two Two Project: Sugar Man covering A.R.T.’s “Sad Face” to air on the final day of the month. They’ll be rehearsing for the performance for the week and a half leading up to it to give a satisfactory performance. Ticketing will also open for their fanmeeting in March this month.
Important dates:
January 9: End of music show promotions.
January 17: Two Yoo Project: Sugar Man filming (to be aired: January 31)
Origin
Awards season continues, but Gold Star is more focused on the release of a series of three remixes of the b-side “Make It Right” off of their most recent album. It’s mostly to test out public reception and ways to improve radio and streaming performance for future comebacks and none of the remixes require any new vocals from the members. For the new year, they’re beginning a new campaign with the city of Seoul to boost tourism and they’ll be filming separate ads for the campaign. They each only have to film a small scripted intro and outro on the CF set in addition to brief group shots (Leader/main rapper | vocal 1 | lead rapper | main dancer/lead rapper | lead vocal/lead dancer | vocal 2 | maknae/main vocal/lead dancer).
Important dates:
January 5: Performance at Golden Disc Awards Day Two at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, South Korea (also attending: CHARM, Alien, and Impulse).
January 10: Release of “Make It Right (Remix) ft. Lauv”.
January 24: Release of “Make It Right (Remix) ft. Lauv [EDM Remix]”.
January 27: Seoul Tourism CF filming (see above).
January 31: Release of “Make It Right (Remix) ft. Lauv [Acoustic Remix]”.
Impulse
For the month of their sixth anniversary, Impulse members get something of a break. They have the Golden Disc Awards to attend on the 5th and they’ve been chosen as the new brand ambassadors for The Face Shop, meaning they’ll need to shoot their first CF modeling for the brand. They also all do individual photo shoots with one specific product for the brand: The leader/main vocal/lead dancer for essence, the main rapper for mascara, the lead rapper for sunscreen, the lead vocal/lead dancer for primer, the main vocal for a face mask, the lead rapper/lead dancer for lip liner, and the maknae/main dancer/vocal for their signature serum. After that, they’re granted an extended Seollal vacation from the 20th to the 30th to relax before they go back on tour next month.
Important dates:
January 5: Performance at Golden Disc Awards Day Two at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, South Korea (also attending: CHARM, Alien, and Origin).
January 15: The Face Shop CF filming.
January 19: The Face Shop ad photo shoot (see above).
Fuse
Gold Star isn’t planning to wrap up their Fuse Festival trilogy until late summer and after they hold a solo concert in the spring, so there isn’t too much on their schedule this month. Their Hotel del Luna OST releases very early in the month, but it isn’t the major hit some of the other songs on the soundtrack are. Fuse will focus on modeling this month, including a photo shoot for High Cut and CF filming for their new 2020 job as GMarket brand ambassadors.
Important dates:
January 4: Release of Hotel del Luna OST “See The Stars”.
January 9: Photo shoot for Issue 257 (first half of February) of High Cut magazine.
January 20: GMarket CFs filming.
January 30: Performance at Seoul Music Awards at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, South Korea (also attending: BEE, WISH, Alien, Lucid).
Element
From January 16 to January 22 and from January 26 to January 30, the members of Element will be in the U.S. for their North America tour. They’ll be performing three of the four cover stages they did for their North America tour: “If I Can’t Have You”, “Thank U Next”, and “Taki Taki”. While in Los Angeles, they’ll film videos with both Access Hollywood (discussing tour stories of their choice) and Young Hollywood (doing a “mystery box challenge”). There will not be a hired translator present for either video, though management may help to clarify off-camera if ever necessary. By the time they return, Gold Star will have picked their next title track from the options under consideration and confirm them for a May comeback with another digital single.
Important dates:
January 16: Access Hollywood interview filming.
January 17: Young Hollywood Mystery Box Challenge filming.
January 17: 4lement in North America Tour concert at La Mirada Theatre in Los Angeles, CA, USA

Femme Fatale
Following their performance at the Gaon Chart Music Awards, they’re off on the Asia leg of their first world tour. This month they’ll be in Thailand and Indonesia. For the duration of the tour, they’ll be filming a mini-reality series of their rehearsals and travels called Femme Fatale Diaries. They’ll shoot two episodes during their Bangkok stops this month. The series will mostly consist of self-cams by the members backstage, at their hotel, and exploring the city to help fans feel in touch with the members even while they’re busy touring. During the time they’re in Seoul, they’ll be recording the four new tracks on their next mini-album. Though the comeback has not been publically confirmed, hype is already being built for one after their reveal as part of this year’s Coachella lineup in April.

QuakeCon Fallout 76 panel
Panel begins at around 37:50, but if you want to skip the panel intro (in which nothing happens) and a replay of the E3 trailer, go to 42:18. Panel includes Fallout 76 development director Chris Meyer, project leader Jeff Gardiner, and game director Todd Howard.
Important/noteworthy info (I’m sure this is riddled with spelling mistakes, bad grammar, maybe even conflicting info; if you notice anything, let me know):
In regards to questing and general feel, FO76 remains “very similar to the Fallout you know and love.” Howard describes it as being 80% the familiar feel of Fallout, with the other 20% being “really different.”
FO76 has more “adventure elements,” focuses more on what it means to live in the world. It “has to feel real” to the player. The game “has a slow burn,” and they want you to really feel like you are your character in this game.
FO76 uses the Quake III networking architecture.
According to Gardiner, Bethesda Montreal is working on the game’s graphics, while Bethesda Austin is comprised of gameplay and network code experts.
Bethesda debuts the Fallout 76 Perks trailer (in the style of similar animated Vault-Tec trailers which came out before FO4), including things like mutations.
Character creation in Fallout 76 is shown at 54:40. The CC has been improved over FO4, though no details on how or why are given. Immediately after creating your character, you are taken to a screen where you can take your Vault-Tec ID badge photo, using the game’s photo mode, which allows you to select character poses and facial expressions.
Photo mode can be used at any time throughout gameplay, and photos you’ve taken appear in load screens. These are randomized along with “curated photos.”
Loading screens do not appear often, but there is a “little one” whenever you fast travel.
You can change your character’s appearance at any point throughout gameplay, from your hairstyle to even your gender.
At 56:25, gameplay is shown of emerging from the Vault, including your first level-up.
Leveling up begins with choosing whichever one of your SPECIAL attributes you wish to increase, which is followed by choosing an available “perk card” under that category. This seems much less cluttered than FO4′s perk chart screen. Taking a perk again increases its rank up to a seeming maximum of three. Each perk card has a “point cost” which requires a certain SPECIAL level in order to equip it.
“The levels keep going up and up and up. We don’t want to make a game where you have to stop leveling, but we had to make some very interesting decisions on what that means for a multiplayer game for balance.
We see level-ups to level 2, level 4, and then level 42. At 58:37, at the level 42 level-up screen, the player is wielding a crossbow.
PERKS SEEN: (any words in brackets were cut off; all assumptions are my own, though any indicated with ? I am unsure of--KEEP IN MIND that the numbers are affected by PERK RANKS and are thus subject to change; the numbers here are taken from perks of various tiers; this includes things like “there’s no chance you’ll be addicted to alcohol,” which is a level 3 perk, in which we can assume the first two levels just have a lowered chance)

LUCK OF THE DRAW: Your weapon has a 10% chance to regain condition when hitting an enemy.
CAN DO!: [30%?] chance to find an extra canned good when you “search” a [?] container.
You can pick any perk that you meet the requirements for when you level up. More become available as you level.
Your stat level determines how many perks you can have active at a time: A character with 12 Strength is shown to have one level 3 perk, three level 2 perks, and three level 1 perks, adding up to 12. Cards can be worth up to 5 points, with each capping at different tiers.
Each SPECIAL stat has a cap of 15.
Charisma in FO76 is designed to share your perk cards with other players in your team.
Perk cards can be unlocked in card packs, which you initially get every two levels, until level 10, after which you get one every five, in addition to the single perk card you unlock every level. They come with four cards and a stick of gum, which can be used as a food item. The gum wrapper has a joke in it, all of which are written by Emil Pagliarulo (writer of such things as Oblivion’s Dark Brotherhood questline, Skyrim’s guard dialogue, and Fallout 4′s main storyline).
You can swap out your perks at any time.
There are “hundreds” of perk cards.
SPECIAL points cannot be increased after level 50, but you can still pick a perk card every level after that.
Beta goes live in October.
They fully expect FO76 to be broken at first; the beta will be used as a stress test.
FO76 will be updated regularly after launch; Todd states it will be a “different game” one, two, five years after it comes out.
On PvP, griefing: When you shoot another player, you do a little bit of damage, not full damage, described as an “invitation” to combat, like “slapping somebody at a bar.” If the other player engages, then both enter combat and do full damage. There is a cap reward to combat based on the players’ levels; you will get more caps for killing a high-level character than a low-level character. When you are killed, you can “seek revenge,” which doubles the reward for killing them.
An attacking player can still kill someone who does not wish to engage, but if they do (i.e., against their will), they become a “wanted murderer,” and get no reward for it (no caps, no XP) and appear on everyone’s map as a red star with a bounty on their head--a bounty which comes out of their own caps. They are also unable to see any other players on their map.
Sneaking removes you from the map (unless you are wanted).
When you die, you drop your junk items--think crafting materials, a large portion of the gameplay loop. You can store your junk in a stash. The point of this is to represent sunk time, to make sure you are preparing before heading into a dangerous area.
You can respawn at any fast travel point; the point closest to you is free, the Vault 76 entrance is free, but everything beyond that has a cap cost dependent on distance from you.
PvP does not “kick off” until level 5.
You are able to “ignore and block” players; ignoring blocks them for the session. (Assuming blocking means you won’t be matchmade with them again?)
There is a “pacifist flag” (mode) which sets the game so you cannot accidentally engage in combat, so that no one can trick you into fighting by jumping in front of your bullets (further preventing griefing)
PvP is balanced so that stronger players will indeed be harder to kill, but if you play cleverly and well you can still manage to come out on top; the cap reward will be incredibly high if you pull off a kill on someone much higher in level
Blueprint system: Save blueprints to a creation so that you can easily rebuild it if it gets destroyed, and so that it can be moved within your camp to fit it nicely with the terrain whenever you move somewhere new.
Camps can be destroyed so that you cannot grief players by trapping them inside a prison.
Example of a trap set by Bethesda employee: Player sat in the middle of the road playing a tuba, but built turrets in the foliage to the side of the road. When players attempt to attack him, the turrets turn on them and fire from the foliage, killing them first.
Camp can be moved so that players can move their camps around when they find a nicer spot, but players tend to settle in to a specific place to keep their camp.
There is voice chat for your team, and for the game world; area-based, so you can hear players near you.
VATS is now real-time. You cannot initially target individual body parts, and the ability to do that is a perk you can unlock. Percentage to hit is based on your Perception. VATS can be used to find players (as you can in other modern Fallout games).
VATS becomes more and more useful the more you invest in Perception.
Inon Zur is scoring Fallout 76.
Licensed music: FO76 has more tracks than have ever been in a Fallout game. There are radio stations you can listen to. There is a balance of “classic” tracks used in older Fallout games, as well as songs new to the series; they seem to be drawing most heavily from 40s music this time around. Howard says there is an “unbelievable amount” of weird, wacky 40s music.
Private servers are definitely happening, specifically because they want people to be able to mod the game. It’s going to be “very, very complicated,” but Bethesda is “committed to it.” They are in the process of solving that problem.

LTC Core Wallet
What is Litecoin? litecoin qt version 0.13.2.1 being an open source, peer-to-peer cryptocurrency that allows fast and near-zero bills among anyone, anyplace in the world. It had been created in October 2012 by simply an ex-Google in addition to ex-Coinbase engineer, Charlie Lee, as an alternative to be able to Bitcoin. He wished to generate a cryptocurrency that would fix some of the troubles suffered by Bitcoin, some as business deal times, higher transaction costs, and gathered mining cartouche. They in addition wanted to make it possible for larger-scale adoption by folks plus businesses. Litecoin can be utilised simply by individuals to make acquisitions from the real world extra easily than more various other cryptocurrencies because it is usually supported by a growing variety of wallets and crypto debit cards. Litecoin possesses also designed progress in the merchant side like they have already been increasing their point-of-sale settlement entry and banking services to really make it simpler for merchants to help agree to Litecoin as a new type of payment. The Litecoin circle has decent application. An average of, Litecoin processes close to 20, 000 to 35, 000 on-chain orders some sort of day. The particular chart under shows the utilization regarding the Litecoin community regarding the past two many years: Litecoin vs Bitcoin Considering that Litecoin was developed getting Bitcoins code (it was basically a fork of this Bitcoin) with near-identical characteristics, challenging compared with Bitcoin. litecoin core version 0.16.0rc1 are highlighted below: Hashing protocol: Both Litecoin and Bitcoin use proof-of-work since their consensus algorithm, yet , Litecoin uses a different hashing algorithm scrypt instead of Secure Hash Protocol (SHA) 256. Scrypt is somewhat more memory-intensive than a good protocol that is not necessarily memory-hard. For the reason that processes are function throughout parallel with scrypt rather than serially with SHA-256, and as a good result, scrypt requires more memory. One particular of the great things about working with scrypt is having a network that is a lot more readily available and democratized. For you to be competitive, miners can acquire additional memory instead associated with possessing to buy specialized application-specific integrated brake lines (ASICs) like is the case having Bitcoin. This means the fact that in theory, regular men and women can become miners using Litecoin, whereas concentrated exploration pools / ASIC crops already dominate the Bitcoin mining. Transaction fees: Purchases on Litecoin are substantially cheaper than Bitcoin. By September 24, 2018, the typical transaction fee for Bitcoin was $0. 434 versus $0. 0483 for Litecoin, making Bitcoin 9 periods more costly. At the high on December 24, 2017, average daily Bitcoin purchase fees surpassed $55 although Litecoin fees ended up solely $0. 931. Full speed: Litecoin is designed for you to be 4x faster as compared to Bitcoin as average block out confirmation times are 2 . not 5 minutes, instead regarding 10 minutes. Present: Litecoin has a new total source of 84 million gold and silver coins, compared with 21 thousand coins for Bitcoin. Conclusion kitchen table comparing Bitcoin in addition to Litecoin: Key Features Proof-of-work: Litecoin uses proof-of-work, which usually is a consensus process that is dependent on a difficult computational task to be able to secure the network via malicious characters. Miners compete to solve the undertaking the quickest and are usually rewarded correctly. (For even more information, see each of our article What is Proof of Job? litecoin core version 0.15.1 ) Scrypt: While talked about above, Litecoin uses this scrypt hashing protocol. Segregated Witness (SegWit): SegWit elevated the block measurement control of Litecoin from one MEGABYTES to four MB by way of removing signature bank files (i. e. this segregated part) a business deal although guaranteeing the transaction will be still safe and protected (i. e. the witness part). SegWit allows for increased transaction output together with makes it possible for other features and software, such as the Lightning Network, MAST, Confidential Purchases, and Schnorr Validations, to be implemented. Key Milestones Litecoin is an open source project and even the source code can be looked at below: https://github.com/litecoin-project/litecoin Oct 2012: Litecoin was basically unveiled with GitHub and the networking goes live shortly following. Nov 2013: Litecoin attained an industry cap of $1 billion the first time. December 2013: Litecoin v0. 8. 6th. 1 was launched. This was initially a significant release together with some sort of number of improvements, like popular wallet capabilities like Coin Control, quicker acceptance, faster propagation, etc . Economy is shown 2014: Litecoin pocket book for Android was technically published. April 2014: Often the beta of Electrum, a good Litecoin wallet, was released. 06 2015: Litecoin v0. ten. 2. 2 had been introduced and represented often the official relieve version of Litecoin Core. This seemed to be a significant launching, and even was the technical comparable regarding Bitcoin v0. twelve. second . Major changes consist of watch-only wallet support, quicker blockchain synchronization, improved deciding upon stability, new utility programs, and so forth January 2017: Litecoin Primary v0. 13. a couple of premiered, a major let go with a quantity of process level improvements, computer code optimizations, the ability to throw out a few soft forks at once, etc . Segwit was activated with testnet. May 2017: Litecoin initialized SegWit and finished typically the first payment transaction on the Lightning Network with the particular move executed in under one next. August 2017: Litecoin Primary v0. 18. 2 premiered. This has been a new major variation discharge with new features, different bug fixes, and various effectiveness improvements (e. gary the gadget guy. faster sync and initial block download times). May 2018: Litecoin Core v0. 16. 0 was launched, a good major release that provided full support to get segwit in its wallet and end user interfaces. CLICK HERE TO HAVE THE FREE GUIDEBOOK > > Future Development Making use of the activation of SegWit, Charlie Lee got spoken about adding features such as Lightning Network, MAST, Private Deals, and Schnorr Signatures, nonetheless no roadmap offers been supplied yet. Inside fact, all the planned upgrades are features from the other blockchain and not unique to be able to Litecoin. Most connected with the upgrades are as developed on Bitcoin while well. In the 2018 Litecoin Summit, Charlie Even offers shown his metrics associated with success for Litecoin: (1) network security, (2) industry increased, (3) exchange fluid, (4) merchant support, plus (5) currency usage. For that reason, we believe the future trends will target improving these metrics. litecoin core version 0.13.2 possesses a block encourage of 20 LTC every block. Halving occurs each 840, 000 blocks (approximately each four years) based on a block time period of 2. 5 short minutes therefore, the block reward will be required to drop to 10. 5 various LTC in about September 2019. The going around source is at present 49, 544, 952 (as involving August 1, 2018); this specific shape will slowly boost towards the total supply regarding 84 thousand LTC at some time in the mid-2100s soon after which no new coins will be minted.
Tumblr media
Team The particular Litecoin Foundation will be a non-profit organization that will supports the development of Litecoin. The idea is contains four men and women on the Plank involving Directors (see below) because well as additional owners, builders and volunteers. Often litecoin core version 0.16.1rc1 works together with the Litecoin Core growth team, which will consists of coders behind the Litecoin assignment, and provides them all economic support. The journal involving the key people driving Litecoin are made clear below: Charlie Lee, Founder involving Litecoin, and Handling Movie director of the Litecoin Basic foundation ~ He was in the past the Movie director of Architectural at Coinbase where he / she worked for four several years. Before that, he / she performed at Google with regard to 6th years as a good Computer software Engineer on many assignments including YouTube Mobile, Stainless- OS and Google Play Games. Prior positions include Person Software Engineer at Guidewire Software and Software Engineer at Kana Communications. They obtained his Masters qualification in Pc Science from M. My spouse and i. T. inside 2000. Xinxi Wang, Litecoin Foundation Director Xinyi Wang was one involving the Beginning Member of the Litecoin Groundwork and is one of the developers at the rear of Litecoin Central. He is likewise this Founder and BOSS regarding Coinut Exchange, the Singapore-based cryptocurrency trading platform that had been established in December 2013. He / she obtained his Bachelors level in Computer Scientific disciplines through the Harbin Institute connected with Technologies in 2009 in addition to his Ph. N. inside of Computer Science from the Country specific University of Singapore within 2014. Franklyn Richards, Litecoin Foundation Director ~ Franklyn Richards was among the Starting up Associates of the Litecoin Foundation and currently runs Litecoin. com. He will be the COO of Zulu Republic, a good blockchain start-up that should create a great ecosystem connected with digital tools built within the Ethereum blockchain. Zing Yang, Litecoin Groundwork Director Zest Dalam has been a good Movie director of the Litecoin Foundation since May 2018 and even was previously from BlockAsset Projects, a blockchain-focused VC business, from January to be able to May well 2018. Prior placements include Associate Overseer regarding Investments at Temasek and even Overseer and Co-Founder associated with Greenergy Global from Biomax Technological innovation. She provided the Bachelors degree in Organization Administration in the Singapore Management University within 2007. Investigation Strengths Community Acquiring started out in 2011, Litecoin is among the most well-known and quite a few mature blockchain jobs and possesses built the giant area. Looking from the particular number of members upon the respective subreddits, Litecoins community is only right behind Bitcoin and Ethereum. Litecoin can make good progress at terms of vendor usage with point of purchase, merchant payment gateways and even banking services by means of Coingate, Coinpayments, Coinify, Coinbase Marketing, Gocoin, Paybear, etc . Because of to it is similarity using Bitcoin with the primary signal being essentially often the same, Litecoin could probably piggyback from r & d innovations achieved by the Bitcoin community. Weaknesses Because this is a fork of Bitcoin, Litecoin does not necessarily experience unique and/or remarkable attributes compared to various other blockchains. Many consider Litecoin as a test out multilevel of Bitcoin plus for that reason, a lot of upgrades applying to Litecoin will likewise be implemented inside of Bitcoin as well (SegWit is surely an example). When this would put features to Litecoin that will that otherwise would not take pleasure in, it likewise makes the idea less likely to have superior attributes exclusive only to Litecoin, making that difficult to be able to standout. As a shop of value, Litecoin is catagorized guiding Bitcoin significantly throughout terms of business deal volume and brand recognition, without any major differentiating capabilities. As a medium involving exchange, Litecoin had the benefits against Bitcoin in the early years given it has faster confirmation moment, nonetheless the newer generation blockchains are even more rapidly. A benefit Litecoin has as opposed to the newer blockchains is in merchant re-homing. Level 2 solutions are produced which arguably is better regarding small orders as a consequence of level of privacy and speed. Lightning Networking system, which was launched previously in 2018, already has over 3, 600 nodes. Should it become profitable, paying using Litecoin will be even much less compelling. Litecoin is backed by the Litecoin Foundation which usually does certainly not have a lot of assets (see their best and newest economical statements: https://litecoin-foundation.org/2018/07/unaudited-financial-statements-2018-05. Conclusion All round Rating: B We have a new neutral view on Litecoin because although Litecoin loves a large community holding up the coin, there is usually no technical attributes exclusive to that. Along with firm coins and layer two solutions becoming more and more famous, Litecoins cost proposition as a sound moderate of change diminishes. In the event that Litecoin is successful in updating certain attributes, those functions will be duplicated to be able to Bitcoin soon, much like just how SegWit was performed. When the upgrade fails, then it would negatively impact typically the cryptocurrency. Thus, going forward, many of us consider Litecoin would certainly not include any significant unique advantage that could differentiate itself from all other cryptocurrencies.
