Maybe it's because his wife runs an abortion NGO funded by USAID, and his daughter Katherine works for Partners for Justice - a group that serves legal support to those very same criminals, thanks to 76% of their cash flow coming from Uncle Sam!

This organization is like an anti-deportation cheer squad and even boasts about having knocked off 5,000 years of prison time since 2018.

So, when investigative journalist Laura Loomer started connecting these dots, the judges wife Katherine suddenly ghosted her social media accounts like linked in, faster than a bad Tinder date!

This raises a big, blinking ethical alarm. According to the U.S.

Judges' Code of Conduct, judges should recuse themselves if a close relative might benefit from their decisions. Yet here we are, with a judge whose rulings are practically aligned with his daughter's paycheck. National security? More like family vacation! Talk about mixing business with, uh, "personal" interests! Nothing to see here folks

USAID has been criticized as a CIA slush fund for YEARS.

But let's back up.

1961 - USAID is established by President JFK via executive order 10973. According to him, it was meant "to exert influence for the maintenance of freedom". In other venues, it was stated that it's intention was to "counter Soviet Union influence during the Cold War" - which is a less nuanced way of saying the same thing.

Rephrasing:

USAID was originally founded to use US dollars influencing foreign politics, in opposition to an enemy that ceased to exist in 1991.

I'll leave a discussion of whether we should be spending piles of US taxpayer dollars in this manner to a different forum. Let's focus instead on outcomes.

So - How did things go over 60 years of USAID?

We funded $1.46 Billion on Afghan farmers... who often used the money to grow poppies (Opium)

We spent $9.5 Billion building a medical supply chain program that had a 7% on time delivery rate, and massive amounts of fraud. They then pivoted to building another one for $17B called NextGen....

And these scandals are not new. When the agency was still young it was helping the CIA arm and feed guerilla fighters in Vietnam.

In the 90's, USAID built a 'Cuban Twitter' just to stir unrest in the country. A covert activity that looked very little like humanitarian aid and more like espionage. A USAID subcontractor was arrested in Cuba with military-grade SIM cards and convicted of smuggling communications equipment like satellite phones. (not food or medical supplies)

They didn't learn... in 2014 USAID was caught using HIV prevention workshops to recruit political activists to oppose Castro.

During the Iraq War, USAID handled a ton of money to support rebuilding efforts... over $1b going to Bechtel, who completed less than half of it's projects by the time they left in 2006.

Even during the first Trump term, USAID was funding regime change in Venezuela while still claiming their mission was humanitarian.

Whatever it's original mission, USAID has been criticized as a CIA front for decades (often by the left). It's such an established idea that you'll see it right in the headlines of articles like this one, detailing how USAID dollars funded resistance in Nicaragua. See also here, here, here.

So:

... whether or not USAID's original mission was legitimate

... even if the USSR still persists 'in spirit' for USAID to oppose

This is indisputably an organization rife with fraud, mismanagement, and corruption; so tainted by a long-standing relationship with US espionage that it's untrusted by allies and enemies; with a history of funding and participating in criminal activities; which has drifted so far and so frequently away from humanitarian objectives that it should no longer be considered a viable vehicle for achieving humanitarian outcomes.

Why are we paying for it?

Why can't we just agree that we should stop funding horrible people and horrible things, even if it means the guy we don't like might get credit with stopping it?

Can someone ask for an example of USAID propogating totalitarianism?
