V SYNTH PROJECT RECRUITMENT

Originally posted in a few Discord servers I'm in, but I thought I'd post it here too.

Hello! I have a project about vocal synth songs about characters based on computer viruses that I'm running with plans to put together an album and monetize in the future. But for each song, they will have a music video. Each idea has a project lead already, so we're not looking for any more project leads. But I am looking for more producers to do instrumentals and more artists. (Three additional artists, three additional producers to do instrumentals preferably. Art as in artwork) This, at the moment, is a VOLUNTEER POSITION. We are hoping to monetize and compensate the whole team in the future, but there are no promises at the moment. It is okay if you are a newbie at this, I am as well. I am okay if you do not have a lot of examples, but I prefer you have at least something I can use to gauge your work. Please dm me if interested!

Just to clarify: We will be needing people who can do full instrumentals for songs. We currently have four instrumentalists, but with eleven songs on the track list and many of them focused on their own songs, we need at least two more as to not overwhelm anyone.

If you are accepted, I will need your discord to add you to the server.

EDIT: Due to some factors, you need to be at least 17, preferably 18 to join this project.

I gave up on the background. The checkerboard thing in Medibang glitched but it looks cool.

Triple baka squad! I don't think I've ever drawn all 3 together in 1 artwork before. I've never drawn Teto's synth v design before (not counting the south park collab one). I based Miku's design of her V2 version as it looks the most futuristic, ie coolest, of all her designs (they just keep downgrading with every iteration!). I drew this to be wallpaper for my computer.

Wait I've just realised I drew Teto's thumb the wrong way, she making the peace sign with her ring and pinky finger. Oh god that's really annoying me now.

Do you guys ever think about what type of music Kerry makes after Johnny's sound no longer influences him?

I like to think about what Kerry would do with his career after the end of the game. Clearly he's starting to branch out in genre, what with the Us Cracks collab and all. So, like, how far does he take that? Does he make an experimental techno metal album that nobody buys but a small subsect of weird badlands dwelling hippies? And they all tell each other "wow, I always thought Eurodyne was the most commercial sound you could get from rock, but this shit is fucking preem, you gotta check it out."

Does he start collaborating with more pop artists like Lizzy Wizzy? They do a full album inspired by her breakup and Kerry letting go of Johnny for good. The album tells the time-old tale of grieving lost love; platonic, romantic, something in between, it's all the same process. It starts with more Lizzy-directed tracks that are angry and vindictive and hurting, then ends with Kerry's more hopeful, optimistic, and relaxed new sound.

Does he even make another album? Maybe he just puts out some singles because he can't find a theme or a consistent sound because he has too many ideas all floating around in his head at once. Some songs need delicate synth crescendoing and crashing like waves of thought disconnected but all happening at once, others are percussion heavy and feel like internal war, a few are just his voice and his guitar with heavy reverb accenting the emptiness of his heart, but in a way that leaves room for another.

Maybe he moves away from the music industry all together and composes a movie soundtrack. Kerry gets in touch with some contacts and ends up composing for the next Bushido (what are we on, nineteen at this point?). It isn't until his third soundtrack that he really finds his sound for these sorts of projects. He starts doing the score for some weird oddball foreign films that debate the meaning of humanity and what separates the brain from a computer in a world where they can be one in the same (I'm imagining a very Trent Reznor style score).

Does Kerry take inspiration from V's Aldecaldo friends? He listens to the soft emotion that emanates from those weeping guitars and hollow bucket drums and feels a connection to music he hasn't gotten in a while. Removing the machines from his music—amps, drum machines, effects pedals, etc.—brings back a bit of that love for creation. A raw organic sound that artists try so hard to emulate but will rarely commit to. 2077's version of country/folk, maybe.

The premiere went by so fast. Thank you to everyone who attended it! Seeing your hype at the voicebanks, and your enjoyment of everything was so sweet!

(For those who wondered - the countdown theme was the "Dramatic" Theme (aptly named). I selected it because something about it made me laugh out loud when I was cycling through the different themes, but it is good at its job, right?)

As a reminder - everyone tuned their own section themselves! This is unique and very well done. I'm so glad my mixing turned out okay ashdhsha,,

V struggled against the cuffs keeping his hands strapped to the netrunner chair. "Bea, you know I can bust through these with my Gorilla Arms. Let me go, I've gotta get back to work."

Bea stood at the head of the netrunner chair and bent down to kiss him on his forehead. It was damp and salty with sweat from the strain his body endured when he was jacked into the chair. "No." 

V rolled his eyes and the servos in his hands whirred. Bea slapped him on his cheek, hard enough to sting but not hard enough to leave a mark. He looked at her in mild disbelief. "What the hell?" The hydraulics inflated the synth muscles in his forearms as he lifted his wrists upward and Bea slapped him again. This time it was hard enough to make him stop.

"Bea." V took on the stern but patient, chiding tone he used when Bea was being particularly petulant, although truthfully, he did want to take a break from the gig.

"Yes, dear?" Bea walked around to the side of the chair and tightened the handcuffs around his wrists after he holstered his cyberarms. The metal clinked against his chrome hands.

"Why are you doing this again? You know I don't like it when you interrupt me. I taught you how to wake me up for emergencies, not when you're feeling like I haven't paid attention to you. We live together, can't I just get two hours to work?" She had, at the very least, brought him out softly. He didn't know how to stop her childish tantrums about feeling neglected and it really was beginning to impact his work. Jobs that took two hours now took four.

Bea grabbed V by his jaw roughly and turned his face to hers. He couldn't suppress the smirk rising at the corner of his mouth. Bea bent over and hovered her lips over his. He tried to jerk his head up, to close the gap, but she just slammed his head into the headrest of the chair. She let go of his jaw and walked to the foot of the chair.

it's from au: everybody wants to rule the world (the collab with @bishicat :3c) in that universe v is "dating" muamar. (its complicated)

when you do the car missions for him you get a box full of stuff right? and at some point he decided to put little presents in for v! she hates it, usually. (once again, its complicated)

oftentimes it's stuff she appreciates like new patches, old tech and other things like that but sometimes he gets a bit too cute with it.

so one day, pretty early on, she takes viv on one of the car gigs because she wants to introduce her to muamar. viv opens the box and is confused at first while v tries to not let her embarrassment show, ofc her friend notices though and teases her a bit about it.

Thaiboy's production on some tracks is just okay

Despite Thaiboy's presence in the Drain Gang holy trinity, his production on some of the songs is just okay. This isn't his best work yet. But it isn't the worst either.

Tiger is Thaiboy Digital's first mixtape. It features Thaiboy's autotuned voice, and synthy production by Whitearmor. The song "I'm Fresh" is a great self-affirmation. The title is hypnotically repeated, and it has a drill-inspired rhythm.

The album's title, Back 2 Life, is a reference to the fact that Thaiboy has lived through many changes in his life. This is an opportunity for Thaiboy to share the lessons he's learned with his fans.

Yung Gud's solo work Yung Gud is a producer with a distinct style. His sound has evolved from euro-trance synths to a more analog palette. His production is very detailed, with prominent guitar parts on several tracks. The instrumentals are often catchy and ethereal, but are also very real. His music is a combination of EDM-flavored trap. He has also remixed songs for other artists. His work with Meek Mill's "Monster" and Tinashe's "2 On" both garnered positive critical reviews.

As a producer, Gud has worked with many different artists, including Travis Scott and Halsey. His newest album, Foreign Exchange, is a collaborative effort with Rx Papi. Gud is executive producer of the album. He was so impressed with Papi's work that he reached out to him directly.

Exile and Sunset in Silver City Unlikely candidates include Swedish rapper Bladee and his ilk. The sexiest male in the house is not your typical rapper. Nevertheless, Bladee is the man for a reason and the rest of his crew has no problem in getting their respective t-shirts signed. The only problem is that they want to be pampered in a swanky club. Luckily, Bladee has a sexy wife to take care of the ladies. The man is a sucker for a good ole' fashion ladies night. Not to mention the obligatory man-on-the-land shenanigans and the twosome. The best part is, he's not a picky eater. If you're looking for a date worthy evening, head over to Bladee's posh abode and the aforementioned patty will be yours for the princely sum of $10.

Stardust Yung Lean has returned with a new mixtape titled Stardust. A 35-minute masterpiece, the album features the usual suspects and some notable names. The album's big winner is "Bliss", which features the incomparable FKA twigs. Originally conceived as a collaboration with Playboi Carti, it didn't make it. Despite this, the track is still an ear-splitting blast of twitchy drums and ear-wormed vocals.

Stardust also features a pair of successful mode-switching collabs. Yung Lean, who has been at the helm of the Drain Gang for the better part of a decade, has managed to remain at the helm of his own ship despite some hiccups along the way.

Ecco2K's debut album Using Ecco2K as a guinea pig may have been akin to a first person test subject, but the sandbox has not slowed down the Swedish duo, nor the mercenaries en masse. In fact, the likes of the aforementioned duo have racked up some serious cash in the biz. As a matter of fact, a couple of the lucky boffos have been awarded with a check to the tune of tens of thousands of euros. Despite the fact that the duo are still in the process of reshaping their respective businesses, a brief chat with the lads in question revealed that they have a solid grasp on the business and an amenable appetite for finer brews.

Bladee's drain gang music videos Yung Lean and Bladee are members of Drain Gang, a group of artists and musicians that has become a cult of internet fans. The band is made up of musicians, producers, and singers. They are known for their unique style. They have gained a lot of traction online and have become a source of inspiration for people looking for an alternative to mainstream music.

Bladee is a Swedish rapper and record producer who has become known in collaboration with Yung Lean and the Sad Boys. He has released several albums that have been very important to the group. His fourth studio album was released last year, and it was produced by frequent collaborator Lusi.

GUMI With Cigarette (NG Black and Orange collab)

I drew this at like midnight lol.

Never drawn GUMI before but her hair is cool. I based her design off her Synth-V/V6 design. The collab only allowed this resolution and this colour pallete (hence the name) and I was like: "hey doesn't gumi wear an orange jacket?".
