WIP Whatever
I wanted to share some smut that me and @alystrin03 have been working on, I've been actively writing parts of it this time around and I have my moments (Aly says I'm good and I love her praise, but ik that I'll need some touch ups once we paste it into our doc)
Here's my most recent favourite parts that I wrote:
"Oh, cariño, do you take me for a man who has no experience? Of course not, this isn't our first time in this kind of situation, no. I can drive you more than simply crazy, mi amor." He places a gentle kiss to the now damp fabric of her underwear, "I'm going to drive you insane." He runs his tongue through the dampness there, smirking at the guttural moan that emits deep from within Alecto's lungs.
Cuervo immediately stopped teasing her and shot upright from his previous position led between Alecto's thighs, letting out a full body laugh - deep and enthralling - "Oh I plan on taming you like the fucking wild animal that you are, Trouble. Mark my words. But first," he paused momentarily to get up off the bed, giving Alecto a full front row seat of his next show. Velasco removed his already undone shirt, tossing it amongst the many other piles of discarded clothes. His muscles tensed as he raised his arms above his head, stretching a little for their activities yet to come. "I hope you're enjoying the view, very few have seen it in its entirety as of late." He winked at her, Alecto's leg bending upwards at the knee as she rose up onto her elbows to get a better view of the deviously handsome - dare she say down right sexy - man in front of her. "You planning on making me ask nicely to see the rest, big boy?" Alecto dared to ask around her index finger that she was lightly chewing between her teeth. Her eyes sparkled in her usual mischievous way, the purple of her eyes eclipsed by the darkness of her pupils.
And yes, I will always doubt my smut writing capabilities 😌 so keep them chairs coming Aly!

Maturity or something
In english I had an creative writing assignment so I wrote about my OC’s as one does. The only criteria was that it had to be about something you’ve learned and I bs’d and wrote about procrastination.
Anyway I’m like kinda proud of it or whatever you should totally read it under the cut
Valectos stared at Ithelle from across the room. Her figure draped across one of the two couches in the office of her temple. Valectos sat on the other couch with his ankles crossed and a prayer scroll in his hands, just like he had done in weeks before. Ithelle often invited him to her place for “work-weeks” as she liked to call them. Never mind the fact that Ithelle never gets any actual work done and gets rather annoyed when Valectos does sit down to work. Maybe she’s implying something else, but Valectos only does what it says on the tin.
The god rubs his neck and shifts his focus back to the scroll in his hands. Every autumn there’s always a wave of prayers coming in from Parola, the continent that their pantheon ruled over. The winter wave always has mortals asking for things like enough food to get through the winter, for their shelter to be enough, to be blessed with warmth in the cold season, things like that.
These scrolls are mainly tedious paperwork and just had one small section for actually answering the prayer. It was something that the pantheon ruler, The Universe, had all of the deities of the City in the Sky do. To make sure that they were doing their job and actually caring for the mortals of Parola. If they didn’t answer and return all of the scrolls by a certain time, they had a higher chance for The Universe to decide it was best for Parola if the deity was terminated. The equivalent of death for a god. Their godhood would be revoked, they would violently be plunged down to the mortal plane and never be able to return.
Because of that threatening punishment, Valectos always made sure he was proactive and answered the prayers as they came in and not putting them off. The same couldn’t be said about Ithelle, every wave she waits for the last minute to answer them, often missing more than a few. Valectos shakes his head, he also knows Ithelle is on thin ice, her chance for termination is concerningly high. Even though he didn’t particularly like her anymore, he wouldn’t wish termination on her.
Valectos looked up at the goddess in question and wasn’t surprised when he saw her closing her eyes, bathing in the moonlight. He rolled his eyes; she had control over the moon, she likely bent the moonlight to make it her personal spotlight. The pile of scrolls at her desk caught his gaze instead of what the goddess probably meant for. He shook his head, Ithelle had almost the most followers out of the whole pantheon, it is understandable that she might be slow to answer all the prayers she gets, particularly before winter, but it isn’t an excuse to completely neglect her duties.
“Ithelle, He said as he put his scroll to the side and stood, “what are you doing?”
The other didn’t open her eyes and only tilted her head towards him.
“Hm?”
“I asked what you are doing.”
Ithelle finally opened her eyes and sat up.
“What do you mean?”
“I mean you brought me here because you claim it helps you get your work done, but I haven’t seen you pick up a scroll since I got here” Valectos gestures to the pile at her desk.
“I told you dear Val,” she rests her head back down “I did plenty of work before you got here, I’m just taking a break.”
“Does a break take two days? Ithelle It’s almost winter, this is only the beginning of the wave of prayers to answer. If you procrastinate now, you’re going to suffer later.”
“Then suffer I will, I’m a goddess I don’t need to do anything.”
“You do when this determines your chance to get terminated. Us deities do in fact have a duty. You know She doesn’t hesitate to terminate.”
This gets her attention. She fully sits up and swings her legs off the couch, disturbing a pile of scrolls at her feet. “You talk about termination. Are you an idiot or do you not remember what you’ve told me?”
Valectos takes a deep breath before continuing “I’m not implying that I plan to tell Her which is what you had also agreed to. I’m only saying that She will find out one way or anoth—”
“No no no- lets go back to that. I keep so many secrets for you. I waste my time sitting around while you spill your dumb life guilts on me.” Valectos looks away at that. “Then you go and threaten me with termination? Do you understand how stressful that is for me?”
“Ithelle, I understand that the idea of termination is stress inducing, but I'm not threatening termination. I'm just saying that if you keep up this procrastination, I won’t be the only one taking notice.” Ithelle narrows her eyes at Valectos before suddenly turning away and walking towards the door.
She opens it and says, “Get out of my temple. You aren’t even a real god, why would I ever waste my time with you.” Valectos moves to pick up his scrolls and leave but Ithelle only continues. “Maybe I will tell The Universe about you… I don’t get anything from keeping this stupid secret.”
Valectos keeps on walking with his head high and ignores what she says. He doesn’t falter when Ithelle slams the door behind him, he doesn’t falter when Ithelle’s assistant Amber stares at him as he walks down the hall towards the back door. And he doesn’t falter when he hears Ithelle screaming for Amber to help her with Universe knows what. Poor girl, he knows Ithelle doesn’t treat her right but there’s nothing he can do.
He closes the back door of the temple gently and walks into the shadow of the building. As suddenly as he disappears into the darkness of Ithelle’s temple, he reappears in the shadow of his own. He walks around the side to the front of the and enters, closing the door behind him. The main sitting room was empty and dark. Tsirko, his assistant, was probably in his reserved wing, so that’s where he went.
Valectos needed a favor from his assistant. As he walked through the hall, he saw a light shining under the library doors. He smiled with fondness and knocked before walking in. The man was stood in front of one of the shelves that lined the room, organizing the various tomes and scrolls. He turns around when he hears Valectos enter the room, the books in his arms stacked up to his chin.
“Oh, hey! I thought you were going to stay with Ithelle for the week?” Tsirko tilts his head.
“There was a... misunderstanding, and we had to cut our time short.” Valectos answers as he walks to stand beside his assistant.
“Oh. Is everything alright?”
“Yes son, but I need you to run an errand for me.” Tsirko nods and sets down his stack of books. “I left some of my scrolls with Ithelle, would you be so kind as to get them for me? I left them in her office, just in a pile on her desk.” The lie comes quickly off his tongue.
Tsirko wrinkles his nose, making Valectos laugh. “Yes yes I know, I would go myself if I could but that can’t happen right now.”
Tsirko sighs and straightens up his clothing. “I get it, I'll leave now… You owe me though.”
“Of course kid, thank you I really appreciate it” Tsirko rolls his eyes in response and the two begin catching up as they walk together to the front door of the temple. Valectos waits in the doorway until Tsirko is out of sight before closing the door and moving to his own office.
He contemplates as he sits down in his rocking chair. Ithelle won’t notice that Tsirko is taking her scrolls instead of the scrolls that he supposedly left behind. And if she does, she will be more likely glad than mad. He knows that Ithelle won’t ever get them done on her own. But just because she is choosing to be immature doesn’t mean the mortals who put their faith in her should have to suffer. He will do as much of the tedious paperwork portion as he can, and trust that Ithelle will finish the rest of it. That’s the best he can do, maybe one day she will change her ways.

Hi 🏃🏽🤸🏽 for the Rook asks, 1, 15 and/or 10!!!
Heyyyy @whispersleo <3 I appreciate more yapping material ✨️✨️✨️
As a treat to me, and to yall, ima do all three questions (cause fuck it, wii ball)!
1. Did Rook have any crushes within their faction before they left with Varric?
Well, in both my rewrite of vg and mine and @alystrin03 's Valecto AU, he developed a crush on Lucanis after getting to know him very well during his and Viago's temporary living situation at Villa Dellamorte. Later, Lucanis turns into his first (and only if it's my rewrite) long-lasting romantic relationship.
And Alecto can be included as well, although it was more of a feelings realised situation than a crush. (Velasco and her had been talking to one another from time to time after their shared contract together (among other things 😏).)
10. What is a random quirk your Rook has?
Well, I guess it's not really a "random quirk" but he tuggs at his hair when deeply stressed. Like nearly tearing it out level of tugging. He does this to enflict pain upon himself to try and centre himself. Bring him away from his not so good thoughts. (Now I'm kinda sad, but dw)
15. If your Rook could do anything, no repercussions, what would they do?
In truth, he'd slap the shit out of Viago. For everything that he did to Alecto, to himself. (I can't really go into much detail, 1) because I don't have everything concrete yet, and 2) because it may come up in future fics that I and/or Aly could write).
If you want to ask me any more questions about my Rook, Velasco de Riva, then please do! I need to yap about this man!
