I’ve just had a vision, what if a yan (e.g riddle or vil because they are most princess-ish) was a trapped in a castle away like in one of those stereotypical fairy tales and the reader decides to save them because they are a ‘damsel in distress’ and reader is like a hero… only to realise there is a reason why they were locked away (because they were batshit crazy)
Warning: Yandere. Gender-neutral reader.
Characters: Vil Schoenheit.
Summary: You are a thief with freshly stolen goods. Chased and hunted down, you avoid capture by finding a castle hidden in gloom and fog. Locals told legends of this place, saying a royal had been trapped within. Of course, you don't quite believe such tall tales. That is, until you discover the royal and learned that they were purposefully sealed inside...
Note: I think I'll call this one, not your valiant savior. It's just a placeholder name for now. Just a quick post, so sorry if it's bad.
Tumblr media
It was too easy. What did they expect when they left out a priceless object owned by the royal family and estimated to be worth a fortune? Of course a famed thief on the loose such as yourself, would just be itching to snatch the relic. And snatch you did, living up to your reputation of thief. Each member having unique abilities to assist in stealing. Your mother had speed to outrun anyone in a chase, your grandfather had the talent of picking any locks, your great-grandmother could sweet-talk anyone then rob them blind. And so on and so forth.
And of course, you had your own talent. As quiet as a mouse and with fingers that stuck to valuables like glue, stealing became like second nature. Literally. However, it wasn't exactly a talent valued by the wider community, and if you stole enough you could end up on terribly drawn wanted posters. Which is why staying in one place wasn't wise.
From place to place, you went taking and claiming anything of worth. When you got very low on cash, you set your sights high: on the vault that stored the royal's priceless treasures. There was bound to be endless riches stored within, if only you could get your grubby hands on them. Well, after careful planning, you had. It wasn't a giant gem or sack full of gold.
Time was short, so you had grabbed the closest thing you could before guards could find you. A golden box encrusted with jewels. Who knew what was inside? Maybe some family heirloom, a magical artifact, or something else of high value. And with the box, you bolted, and the chase had begun out of the city and through the woods.
As fast as you could, you ran through the mystic woods, a forrest travelers and locals alike were all wary of. It was the safest place you could go when chased by frightening palace guards on horseback that would do anything to take back what you stole and drag you back to the gallows. Even the woods heavy with fog and dark from the clouds overhead, had deterred your pursuers enough for you to slip out of their reach and deeper into the forrest where there was no way they would be able to track you. Here, you would have to wait until tomorrow and depart early. Then, you'd be home free and rich beyond your wildest dreams.
After what felt like hours of walking, you stumbled upon a bridge over a gloomy lake. In the middle, sat an old castle of gray stone and dark windows. A castle once said to hold a royal captive, but of course, you didn't believe such stories that were so old they were told to your own grandparents. This castle would be your sanctuary for the night. And maybe, just maybe, you'd clutch the jeweled box and dream of simpler times when you were told fairytales of locked away royals waiting for a savior.
The castle was exactly like those set in spooky tales, haunted by vengeful spirits and claimed by ghosts. It appeared abandoned, that much was obvious by the crumbling stone bridge and the battered old wooden doors that once protected the inhabitants.
Cautiously stepping over the splintered debris of the front door, you didn’t bother boarding it up since no one would be stupid enough to follow you inside.
There was wreckage and ruin everywhere. If you had to guess, whatever happened here, whether the people were driven away by conflict or time, it was followed by the destruction of time. Time with weather were likely all factors that led to the disarray of what was probably once a grand estate. Strangely enough, there was furniture and decor. Everything coated in dust and grime, but still here. Had people been too afraid to enter the grounds? There were so many valuables that could've been looted!
"I'll definitely have to come back here later." You scoff, turning over a few clothes or broken furniture with your foot to uncover possible hidden goodies. Maybe something as small but valuable as a ring was lost somewhere on the ground.
Proceeding to carry the golden box under your arm, you decide to search for the cleaniest, not-so-moldy room where you could spend the night. On the third floor halls, you see ripped curtains and frames where portraits loosely hung. Every rug was brown with dirt and dust.
There were items left behind, which showcased the life one led here. A piano too big to steal, the skeleton of a chandelier and broken gems hanging from its limbs, empty glass perfume bottles now filled with dust. The place must've been wondrous once, but now it was like a tomb. A setting frozen in time.
When you found moonlight filtering through the open balcony of what looked to be the master bedroom, you paused to see the space wrecked more than the others. As if more than just weather and time had affected this place. The owner of this castle likely slept in this very room, on that very bed where the sheets were ruffled and unkempt.
"I wonder who used to live here..." You murmur to no one in particular, as you approach the balcony looking over the bridge and woods. This would be a good vantage point.
A heavy fog settled over the woods, extending over the bridge like water. Good, an extra layer for cover. You stepped back into the room, analyzing every carved piece of wooden furniture, makeup and brushes stored on tabletops, a separate room as long as a hallway and filled with all types of articles of clothing.
If all this was still here, then was it possible some jewelry was left behind? You scoured the room, looking for hidden compartments while murmuring to yourself to fill the ominous silence. As you pulled back a curtain against a wall, you furrowed your eyebrows when you saw an uneven lump underneath the wallpaper.
Could this be handle leading to a vault of treasures? With that in mind, you ripped off the old wallpaper. A glimmer of gold made your heart soar with hope, but when you caught sight of your reflection, you stopped and stared. A mirror. It was a large mirror, oval shaped, with golden borders so intricately decorated. However, when a hand suddenly appeared on the other side of the mirror, like a ghostly apparition, you screamed and stumbled back.
A hand– there was a hand in the mirror! You stared with widened eyes full of shock, as the hand pressed its palm against the surface of the glass. You couldn't see anything else, no one behind the hand. After a second, the slim pale hand delicately pointed a long dainty finger at the box you were holding in a vice grip.
"What...? This? You want this? But..."
You had worked hard to procure this golden box from the royals. Pursing your lips, you contemplated your options, with so many questions running rampant in your mind. What was that thing? A magic mirror? A magic mirror would be priceless, much more valuable than any gold. However, if it was magic, it would be tricky. Possibly even sentient. So you'd have to gain its favor.
"Alright, alright, the box. You know, I went through hell trying to get this."
You informed the mirror, unsure if it even understood you. You carefully set down the heavy box in front of the mirror, and watch as the hand made a motion with its fingers.
Click!
It had unlocked the box, without even a key or tool. A grin broke out on your face. Had it done it for you? Apparently not, because the box opened on its own and a heavy thick tome floated out from it and into the air. The hand beckoned the tome closer, and closer it came, until it was literally phasing through the glass.
"Hey! Wait––"
The glass shattered, the sound booming and ringing out in the silence like an explosion. You only had a second to react, instinctually using your arms to shield your face from the glass flying out in every direction. When it stopped, you looked around. The mattress was shredded, the curtains torn to shreds, wooden furniture cut as if done by an axe, but miraculously you were somehow unharmed.
A breath, not of your own, caught your attention. Your eyes darted over to the now broken mirror, awestruck at the vision of a figure stepping over broken glass. They were beautiful, gorgeous, stunning, more than any words could convey. Their hair like gold and eyes an alluring shade of purple like two amethyst stones, soft pink lips, and a tall slim pale figure clothed in odd robes. For a moment, whoever this person was, appeared disoriented for a brief moment, but they clutched the tome like a lifeline. The tome that came from the box you had stolen.
"Thank you––"
He breathed, his voice quiet as he attempted to stand tall and upright. When his legs nearly gave out beneath him, you were there to catch his hand and prevent him from falling as he looked at you with appreciation. You were just stunned, bewildered, in pure disbelief.
"You... You freed me. You returned my stolen tome...!"
He exclaimed in disbelief, as he restored his posture. Somehow, he was able to stand in heels, but heels were currently one of the least important details.
What did he mean freed?
There was no time to ask any questions. The loud sound of the shattering must've alerted any of your pursuers that had followed you thus far, because from the balcony you could make out the torchlights weaving their way directly towards the bridge.
The mysterious man from the mirror took notice of your expression of dismay as he glanced at the distant torchlights. Smoothing out his robes, he looked back at you and took in your expression. "Enemies of yours?"
"Yes..." You nod slowly.
"Now that just won't do. I can't have anyone harming, or even killing my savior. I've yet to even learn your name." Tapping some well-manicured fingers against the spine of the tome, he appeared to contemplate something. When he stopped tapping his fingers, he smiled so sweetly. "I am Vil Schoenheit, prince and prodigy. Here's my proposition to you, my savior: I will destroy your enemies for a small price. You must tell me your name, and I will grant you my protection."
Of course you gave him your name, and almost immediately you saw the fog below turn an odd color. The torchlights flickered out, you no longer heard their encouraged shouts to move forward but instead their screams echoing in the dark woods. All after Vil murmured a few words in a foreign tongue read from his tome, as he continued to gaze at your intently. What exactly was he to cause so much death in a single instant with hardly any effort...? And you were stuck in this abandoned castle with him.
The prince had no plans to abandon you, he's made that much clear when you attempted to casually part ways after thanking him for getting rid of your pursuers. Stay. I can make it worth your while. Once I reach my former glory, you'll be able to bask in it with me. Is what he said as you swore you heard the front of the castle be sealed shut.
The entire time he looked around the castle with disdain, cross as he complained about the state of his home. While helping him clean up some rooms, he told you more about himself. Vil was a prince who once lived in this castle, set to inherent the throne shortly after the death of his father. However, he was widely feared due to being a prodigy in dark magics and genius at brewing concoctions. For attempting to steal the life of a younger kinder foreign prince who specialized in good magic, he was trapped in a mirror with his tome being the only key to grant him freedom.
Vil actually appeared to be much too fond of you, which you attributed to his isolation. If you were imprisoned all alone in a mirror for centuries, you likely would've gone insane. It was a miracle Vil's mind was intact, but maybe he wasn't there entirely. Because what sane person killed people with the snap of their fingers while smiling so kindly at the one who set him free?
Pridefully he listed off his feats and accomplishments. Living prodigy. Most beautiful man in the land. Prince of the land. It felt too much like flaunting, as he wanted you to realize how truly great he was. He replaced your clothes with his own, and while combing your hair he reminded you that what's rightfully his will be returned to him one day, and you would be there beside him that day.
The crown was what he wanted, a crown he believed was stolen from him and passed down to the descendants of the very good prince he attempted to kill. He spoke of a future in the castle restored to its former glory, where citizens would be loyal to him once again, and those that wronged him will receive a fate worse than death. Positions were open for applying once he became king, he told you one day. He was still searching for a vassal, a knight, a jester, or a partner to wear a crown as well.
Was it the isolation that had driven him to become so attached to the one who set him free? It was possible, but you couldn't even be sure. For all you knew, he could've been like this before he became trapped in the mirror. What mattered now was that he did not make any effort to hide his attraction towards you. Vil was offering a thief all the riches he would attain after his plan for vengeance, and his heart in a golden box.
"Keep the knives I gifted you, although I doubt you'll have to resort to lifting a finger. Just allow me to handle it when the time comes. I want to extract vengeance slowly and painfully, make them hurt just as they did to me... And at the end of the day, you will be there, you little thief who stole my affections, to comfort me and drive away those memories of cold lonely centuries in darkness. You'll be there for me, won't you, my valiant savior?"

Thinking again about how dragons are creatures famously known for gathering and hoarding treasure, and for being extremely greedy and possessive of said treasure. Sylus literally has a whole-ass vault dedicated solely to all the gems he's collected over the years. Being generous is typically not in a dragon's nature. They don't share, much less give away valuables.
And yet with MC...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And these are just examples I could think of on the spot. But it is a consistent and frequent pattern with Sylus going all the way back to his myth where he constantly gifts her the most valuable treasures at hand and more besides.
This gets me so good b/c dear Lord he loves her so much that it actually overrides his base instincts. If it'd make MC happy, he'd give her every single gem and stone in his vault/lair without hesitation.

Pssssst…
You know Emmrich’s ring? The one with the large stone that he says was his Father’s last gift to him? Yeah, that one.
It’s the only piece of jewelry he owns that isn’t gold: it’s actually something inexpensive like brass or copper. The large, shiny stone? Not a ruby or emerald - not even a less valuable gem like garnet or tourmaline. It’s just coloured glass.
It’s costume jewelry - you couldn’t get a copper for it if you tried to sell it in the market.
But it’s all a traumatized kid had left of his Dad, and despite all of his hard-earned wealth and success as a grown man, he wears that cheap ring that leaves a green band on his skin every single day, no matter what.

I really enjoyed your Regency Era yandere story! I would love to see a second part where he earns her affection back and proposes!
Tumblr media
Notes: AH, THANK YOU! Maybe, in the future, I'll write a whole fic about Ambrose proposing. But for now, here's how his proposal would go from the top of my head.
Yandere! Lord, who, after months of courting, piles of love letters that made the mail coach dread delivering to your estate and taking you out on many splendid and lavish outings of carriage rides throughout every road in the city, afternoon tea that was filled to the brim with treats only royalty could enjoy, and lovely walks along the pier. And, of course, secret rendezvous in the nearby forest away from the public’s scrutiny eye where you both could be yourselves. He decides to ask your father for your hand in marriage, and as the words of approval leave your father’s mouth, he's out the door!
Yandere lord! Who, if it were his idea, would’ve asked for your hand way earlier. Yet, he was a patient man for you and waited for you to fall for him entirely, and when you dropped subtle hints about desiring an engagement, he immediately marched to your father.
Yandere! Lord, who already had your engagement ring prepared years beforehand, even when he was abroad. It was a valuable little thing. It wasn’t just a big stone on a gold ring; no, it was made carefully with thought. The ring is engraved, and it is not just one heavy gem– it is a large jewel surrounded by other smaller ones. Each placement was placed for a purpose.
Yandere Lord! Who announced the news to his father one evening and when The Earl rejected the idea entirely. He didn’t take that very well. It’s a shame his father became bedridden; it was almost as if someone repeatedly throughout these past days put drops of strychnine in his meals. It's a pity that his father won't attend his wedding, but alas, what can you do?
Yandere! Lord Who plans your proposal meticulously, ensuring everything goes soothingly and accordingly. He decided to propose when you both would but off in the forest. It was late at night near a small lake, a picnic laid out with your favourite foods, desserts, and drinks. The fireflies (which he anticipated to appear) decorate the small area, setting the mood more than any candlelight could; the small body of water is graced with a layer of blooming water lilies.
Yandere! Lord, when your back is turned away from him, gazing at the beautiful flowers in the water and complementing the scenery. He kneels on one knee, holding the ring box towards you. When you suspect something is in the midst because of how silent the loud-mouthed lord is, you turn to face him, only to be met with his sincere yet vulnerable gaze.
Ambrose delicately says your name. “You’ve bewitched me, body and soul, if you’ll only grant me the honour to become your devoted companion in this life and more by allowing me to become your husband.”
“Will you marry me, My sweet?”
End notes: Ambrose's dad is getting reversibly traumatized by his own son....

Now that I'm back from the gem and mineral show, here are all the Cool Rocks I came home with!
Tumblr media
A cute little coral fossil! He looks like a cauliflower.
Tumblr media
A Keokuk geode! These geode beds aren't far from where I live, and it's always fun to have local specimens.
Tumblr media
Phosphosiderite! This purple stone comes from Chile. It's so soft that it has to be stabilized with resin before it's cut. This one is a cross section of a botryoidial formation!
Tumblr media
Speaking of botryoidial, this Hematite! Botryoidial means it has a bubbly shape kind of like a bunch of grapes. The faces of the bubbles on this pieces are super shiny and metallic.
Tumblr media
Dendritic chalcedony, from Turkey! It's a white chalcedony full of dendrites - branching formations of manganese that look kind of like trees!
Tumblr media
A cabochon for my cab collection! This one is made from a material sometimes called "ajooba jasper." The pattern is actually a cross section of a bunch of colorfully jasperized bivalve fossils!
Tumblr media
Speaking of jasper, this one is Blue Mountain jasper, from Oregon! The circles in this stone are what’s known as an “egg pattern,” and jaspers which have them (Blue Mountain, Imperial jasper, and a few others) are collectively known as “fine jaspers,” the most valuable jaspers in the world.
Tumblr media
Hyalite opal! This stuff forms water-clear spheres that look like jelly.
Tumblr media
It fluoresces bright green under UV light!
Now to show off this year's haul of awesome agates!
Tumblr media
Dryhead agate, from the Bighorn Mountains in Montana! This agate is named after the many bison skulls found in the area. A weird shaped guy with awesome red and orange bands.
Tumblr media
Bou Lili agate, from Morocco! I like the name of this one. Soft banding and very subtle, muted colors. I've heard that this locale can produce peachy colors too.
Tumblr media
Bear Canyon agate, from the Pryor Mountains in Montana! Agates from this locale have very stark black and white banding.
Tumblr media
Red Fox agate, from Argentina! Sometimes this material is also called "crater agate" because the area it comes from is near the crater of an ancient volcano.
Tumblr media
A Blue Sky thunderegg, from New Mexico! Thundereggs from this locale often have this two pointed, saucer-like shape.
Tumblr media
It fluoresces really brightly!
Tumblr media
Dulcote agate, from England! The bands of this agate are full of calcite, which gives them a strange, distinct texture.
Tumblr media
Malawi agate, from Malawi! See all the cracks in it? Almost all Malawi agates have them. Frequent earthquakes due to the East African Rift cause these agates to crack and fracture.
Tumblr media
Paint Rock agate, from Paint Rock Valley in Alabama! This agate is very rarely banded, and usually just contains swirls of red and yellow color.
Tumblr media
A big, unpolished slab of Montana agate! This agate is known for its clear banding and black lines and spots, which are caused by manganese dendrites.
Tumblr media
It's best viewed with some light behind it!
Tumblr media
A smaller piece with really amazing dendrites!
Tumblr media
Here it is backlit!
Tumblr media
Fighting Blood agate, from Hebei Provence in China! This locale is known for its super saturated reds and yellows. This piece has purple amethyst crystals growing inside! They didn't photograph well; they are much more purple in person.
Tumblr media
A really weird Fighting Blood agate! This one lacks the bright colors typical of this locale, but makes up for it with that super cool spiderweb pattern!
And finally, as is tradition, I came home with some Ethiopian opals! Here are the five I got this year.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And that's everything I got at the show!

The Care Package II
Got your first, shiny new gacha character you were working oh-so-hard to get? That's great! Don't know how to care for it? No worries! This guide will have you covered!
-
Summary: not doing this, its in part 1 here, this post has Aventurine and Sunday. The previous one has Dr. Ratio and Argenti. Have fun reading !
-
The Gem-Deluxe Package
You receive a lavishly decorated box at your mail! It is covered in jewels and black ribbon, and similarly to the Red Rose Package, users may experience difficulty in unboxing Aventurine from his gift box. Please watch this tutorial in case you are unable to do so aswell.
The gift box is lined with a soft material, and several, smaller layers that act as a makeshift bed for your sleeping Aventurine. Please let your Aventurine wake up on his own accord, or you may halt his growth process from Beginner to Intermediate by communicating urgency if you wake him up too soon. When Aventurine wakes up, he will make his presence known very well, and he will naturally call out to you regardless of wherever you are and whatever you are doing.
Aventurine comes with a unique combination of accessories that are specific to each model – thus a specific user manual is provided for each of his items. You may receive either one of the following SSR items; Gold Coin [I], Pack of gold Cards [I], Small Aventurine Stone [II], Teal Peacock Earring [I]. Please note you may only be able to request another copy with your specific user manual when you open the package - if you are unable to find it, search Aventurine's pillow or ask him about it. Some users express their delight at Aventurine's tricks of hiding certain things, but it is advisable to warn him of certain valuable items before he hides them to entertain his user.
Aventurine may seem as though he does not mind being picked up in any way, however, he wishes to be held with great care. Please hold out both of your hands so he may feel cared for, and wait for him to feel comfortable enough to climb onto your hands. Aventurine may tell you it doesn't matter, but it is advisable to take great care and consideration of his emotional and mental wellbeing regarding your actions towards him.
Beginner Aventurine enjoys enclosures that are bright with natural light and open, but also safe and guarded well. You may keep him near your windows, on your bed, or any designated spot where he is free to explore that is well-illuminated. However, if he is picked up in the middle of his exploration process, he may whine and sarcastically compliment your furniture.
Beginner Aventurine is more personally closed off, so users are advised to be patient. He is, however, comforted by the sight of beautiful jewels, a comfortable bed, and warm food [Please refer to Care Package for accessories, especially regarding jewels. You do not need to buy real diamonds to impress Aventurine.].
The longest stage is the Beginner stage, so users may not be pleased with the delay in level up when it comes to Aventurine. He is not comfortably accustomed to change. It is advised he grows according to the rate he deems fit. However, the new Companion Feature allows Aventurine to interact with Dr. Veritas Ratio, and Aventurine's level up may be encouraged further if he witnesses Veritas Ratio level up, or receive his advice and help. Users are advised to supervise their interactions closely, as Intermediate Aventurine and Advanced Veritas Ratio are prone to petty arguments.
Intermediate Aventurine shows not much difference with the later stages of Beginner Aventurine, however, he may start interacting more openly with his user. He will frequent your personal space, initiate more friendly conversations and become inquisitive about your personal life – please tell him all about your Friends and Family. Aventurine feels closer to people the more he knows about their personal relationships. Users are also encouraged to compliment Aventurine whenever he decides to explore an area he tends to avoid – this will level up Aventurine's premature skill “Lost and Found [I]” to “Observe and Retrieve [II]”. Aventurine may find objects of precious value to user that may have been lost before, and will help the user find misplaced items with greater ease. It also supports the continual growth until he reaches Advanced level.
At the Advanced Level, Aventurine finds it very easy to accustom to User's routine. His skill may also level up from “Observe and Retrieve [II]” to “Initiate and Succeed [III]”. Advanced Aventurine will be more open to user and relay his personal feelings without hesitance. He may also choose to be called Kakavasha at this stage [Our users are informed that Kakavasha was the name of the previous model Aventurine is currently based upon, and to not fear any errors]. Aventurine at this stage may grow exponentially overnight depending on how deep the bond between him and his user is. If you reach a close bond level, Aventurine grows up to a size of 5’6-5’7 overnight, and delight in his own growth. Users are advised to prepare in advance once Aventurine reaches Intermediate stage.
Congratulations! You now have a full grown Aventurine, who may choose to go by Kakavasha in private. Aventurine is extremely skilful in managing the user's finances and personal relationships, offering advice and deciphering actions of others around his user. However, Aventurine is prone to safeguarding seemingly invaluable things, such as handwritten notes, old jewelry the user may have wanted to discard, and frequently visits the user's personal space. Aventurine, however open he may be, still hides some of his personal feelings. Users are advised to be comforting and patient with Aventurine, and oblige with his unsure nature regarding trust and belongings. Aventurine is prone to Neglect [IV], and users are heavily warned to never ignore Aventurine, especially in times of need or when quarrels occur. You may comfort him during your busy schedule by offering him handwritten notes of small reassurance, or provide him with the Gold Card Pack provided within the Care Package.
-
The Raven Package
The box is very fragile, and contains many pieces of accessories, so please do not shake it. It is light blue in colour, and is adorned with a small golden brooch the user may keep as a decorative piece. Inside, you receive a transparent box encasing a sleeping Sunday, and a plethora of neatly arranged accessories beside him. Please handle it with great care.
Sunday does not mind being woken up, but he will be displeased if you let him sleep too much. You may use the clockie accessory to wake Sunday up at an appointed time.
Handle Sunday with dignity! Users are advised to not haphazardly hold Sunday, he holds himself in high regard and does not like being carried with impropriety. However, users may occasionally hold Sunday by the back of his collar like the scrunch of a kitten, for short durations of time.
Beginner Sunday requires a well-organised area with neat schedules and planners. He prefers yellow-lighting and if the user has a study lamp, Sunday may occasionally nap under it. He is open to talking but will maintain an ample distance with his user; but do not be discouraged. Beginner Sunday may become more open if the user manages to help him to their haircare products and share tips on preening his wings.
Intermediate Sunday is a bit difficult to deal with, according to user experiences. Sunday may demand more attention and become more meticulous with manner and speech. He may advise the user in their appearance and presentation. However, Sunday does not mean ill. He is simply trying to help his user. If the user becomes agitated due to his constant advice and expresses their feelings, Sunday may enter Sulking [II], and hide in his gift box. You may comfort your Sunday by arranging his accessories Conference Table Prop 2, Office Chair (8), and Sandpit Prop 1, Musical Instrument Violin Prop 2 and Documents Prop, and asking him to check the current layout which will lure Sunday out of Sulking and into Curiosity.
Intermediate Sunday may experience difficulty reaching the Advanced level, so we advise users to be more supportive during this stage. Sunday may act irrationally or out of character, and pace around in a space, supervise you constantly, meticulously manage seemingly insignificant things, and try to manage things by himself, which will leave him prone to Overworking [II] and Exhaustion [I]. You may comfort Sunday by offering reassurances and feeding him small, sliced strawberries, or sweets.
Advanced Sunday becomes much easier to handle. Sunday will become self-sufficient and engage in many conversations, mainly pertaining to your duties and responsibilities and help you become more efficient at them. Sunday specialises in Planning [II] which greatly supports the skill Initiate and Succeed [I]. He will also greatly help the user form connections and relationships, giving them social advice. However, at this stage, Sunday is also prone to Overworking [III] and Loneliness [I], which affects him in a greater degree than Intermediate Sunday. The user has to directly engage with Sunday and lure him out of work actively, and provide long hours of company.
Congratulations! You now have a full-grown Sunday. He may grow up to 5’6-5’7, and does not require much maintenance. You may request a copy of accustomed accessories with the appropriate specific manual provided in the care package. Sunday's Companion Feature works greatly with Robin, and it creates more resistance to Overworking [II], [III] and Loneliness [I], and helps him feel less lonely. However, users are warned to not use this Companion feature with Aventurine or Dr. Veritas Ratio, as it may create animosity between them and stunt Sunday's growth, along with weakening his resistance to Overworking [III] and deleveling his skill, Planning [II] to Planning [I].

Labradorite: History And Use
Tumblr media
Labradorite is a semi-precious feldspar mineral known for its exquisite iridenscence. It is characterized by vibrant flashes of color, which ranges from deep blues and greens, to vivid purples and pinks, to fiery oranges and golds. The enchanting play of colors in labradorite has a scientific explanation that's as fascinating as the stone itself. It's known to exhibit 'labradorescence', a phenomenon that occurs as a result of the stone's unique internal structure and the interference of light.
Labradorite's mineral composition primarily consists of a type of feldspar called anorthosite. What makes this feldspar so distinct is its lamellar structure. Within these layers, there are thin, closely spaced structures that act as barriers to the passage of light. When light enters a labradorite stone, it interacts with these structures in patterns that are necessarily parallel, producing is distinctive flashes of color, the striking display that labradorite is renowned for.
The colors produced by labradorite are not due to pigments within the stone, but rather the dispersion of light. This is similar to the way a prism splits light into its various colors. As a result, the hues in labradorite can shift and change as you view it from different angles, giving it a dynamic and captivating quality.
Understanding the science behind labradorite's iridenscence adds another layer of appreciation for this otherworldly gemstone. It's a testament to the marvels of nature and how it can create something so aesthetically stunning and intriguingly mystifying.
Tumblr media
History
Labradorite boasts a history as enchanting as its radiant colors. While it earned its name from the Canadian province of Labrador, where it was first officially documented in the late 18th century, its roots in human culture run deep. The discovery of labradorite was a moment of awr and wonder, as early observers were captivated by the stone's iridescent flashes. However its use and significance extend far beyond its namesake region.
In ancient cultures, labradorite was considered a magickal stone with connections to the unseen world. Inuit tribes who inhabited the region where labradorite was initially found, revered it as the powerful stone that captured the Northern Lights, trapping them within its depths. The association with the Aurora Borealis gave labradorite a sacred status among Indigenous people.
As time progressed, labradorite began to make its way into other cultures' spiritual practices and traditions. It was prized by shamans and mystics for its metaphysical benefits, healing potential, and ability to enhance one's spiritual connection and insight. Labradorite was often used for divination, channeling, spirit work, crossing the veil, and more, believed to bring about a deep understanding of the Universe, spirit, and the inner self.
Labradorite's history also intersects with the world of art and jewelry. Artisans and jewelry designers recognized its captivating beauty and incorporated it into various creations. The stone was believed to ignite divine creativity in those who worked with it.
Tumblr media
Metaphysical Uses
Labradorite is more than just a stunning gem;  it is also revered for its metaphysical properties, making it a beloved stone among mystics and those who delve into spiritual realms. These profound effects include:
• Enhanced intuition and psychic abilities- One of the most commonly attributed labradorite traits is its ability to open the Third Eye, honing one's intuition and enabling psychic ability. It is referred to as the "Stone of Magick" or the "Stone of Transformation" due to the profound experiences it can facilitate. Labradorite opens the doors to unseen realms beyond perception enabling individuals to tap into internal and external sources of wisdom to gain insights far beyond the ordinary. For those who practice psychic readings, divination, meditation, astral travel, or any kind of spirit work, labradorite makes a valuable companion. It heightens spiritual awareness, amplifies inner knowing, and aids in past life recall. This improved intuition can aid in decision making, problem solving, and understanding complex situations.
• Spiritual transformation- Labradorite is regarded as a profound catalyst for spiritual transformation and growth. It supports individuals on their spiritual journeys by deepening their connection to higher realms and expanding their spiritual awareness. This expansion can lead to profound personal and spiritual transformation. Labradorite's energy encourages introspection, inner exploration, and a heightened sense of purpose. Those who work with this magickal stone become intuned to the subtle energies of the Universe, inspiring a sense of wonder and creativity and curiosity regarding the mysteries of existence, motivating them to seek a deeper understanding of their own soul. It is a guiding light on the path of spiritual enlightenment.
• Increased synchronicity- Labradorite holds a fascinating connection to the concept of synchronicity, the occurrence of meaningful coincidences in our lives. It acts as a beacon for recognizing and interpreting these important events, offering a deep understanding of the interconnectedness of the Universe.
• Protection and aura cleansing- Labradorite is also associated with protection. It creates a shield around the aura, the energetic field that surrounds the body. This shield acts as a barrier, warding off negative or unwanted energies and influences. Furthermore, labradorite cleanses and purifies the aura of these attachments, restoring a sense of balance and harmony.
Tumblr media
• Inspiration and artistic expression- For artists abd creatives, labradorite is a wellspring of inspiration. Its fluid energy encourages thinking outside the box and pushing the boundaries of conventional ideas. The transitioning hues within this beautiful stone evoke a sense of enchantment and wonder, igniting one's imagination and boosting creative ability.
• Relationship harmony- Labradorite is associated with fostering relationship harmony by nurturing understanding, empathy, and effective communication between people. Its energy creates an atmosphere of openness and emotional connection, which helps resolve conflicts and strengthen bonds in any type of relationship.
• Confidence and communication- Another remarkable facet of labradorite is its potential to boost self-confidence and improve communication. When you harness the energy of this stone, it empowers you to express your thoughts and ideas with clarity and conviction.
• Focus- Labradorite is a valuable tool for those seeking to elevate their focus and concentration levels. The enchanting gem clears mental fog and grants clarity making it easier to engage in tasks that require undivided attention. It assists in sharpening your mental faculties, allowing for more precise and sound decision making.

Oh Shakespeare it’s time to take chrome to the basement with the others 😍
So I racked my brain for any ideas for chrome, which was kinda hard since I’m lowkey focused on the ones from the modern world + Moz, BUT THE LIGHT BULB LIT UP❗️❗️❗️
(Also sorry that all the requests I made are with a mc and reader from the modern world 😔🙏)
SO. Let’s say the primitive people have an odd way of courting people, or maybe it’s just only chrome who has an odd way of doing it. (We aren’t exactly sure what his type is cuz in the dr stone wiki it just says ‘Ruri’ 😭)
We’re Senku’s sister, instead of being a science dork, we’re more into gemology, so I guess technically are still are a science dork BUT WHATEVER
Chrome LOVES exploring places, he knows the area of the science kingdom like the back of his hand and is a natural at gathering resources. I have a feeling he’d find a cool gem he found while gathering things and excitedly show us, yapping about how cool it looked and asking us what it was.
Bro would probably ask us or Senku what our favorite gem is so he could secretly look for it and gift it to us 🤭 (personally I like rose quartz, idk why but it kinda just makes sense to me. What’s your favorite? 😋)
Remember the episode where he, Senku, and Magma went spelunking? He’d find a cool looking gemstone and be like “Woah this gem looks bad! I should get it for y/n!” out loud and Senku is just looking at home like this
Tumblr media
Chrome would definitely ask the four other generals to help him confess. Senku would be a bit reluctant though, not only because he doesn’t really like romance crap, but also cuz THAT’S HIS SISTER 😟😡
But don’t worry he gives in anyway since he wants his dead sister, and only family member alive, to be happy 😋
The Rock That Says… Uh… Something?
Tumblr media
It was a typical day in the Kingdom of Science — gears turning, furnaces blazing, half-built contraptions littered across the clearing.
And somewhere in the middle of it all, you sat beneath a makeshift shade cloth, sleeves rolled up and polishing a chunk of raw amethyst with a worn scrap of fabric. You weren’t a “science dork” like your brother, Senku, not exactly — but your heart belonged to the shimmer of crystals, the luster of polished stones, the stories told by minerals forged in the depths of the Earth.
Gemology might not save the world, but it made you happy. And that was what you were good at.
“Oi, Y/N. You spacing out again?” Senku called lazily from where he was tinkering nearby, goggles pushed up on his forehead.
“I’m working,” you replied, not looking up. “Unlike someone.”
Before Senku could shoot back a sarcastic retort, a distant voice cut through the noise of the village:
“Y/N—!!!”
You looked up — and blinked.
A very familiar wild-haired figure came tearing through the clearing at full sprint, a cloud of dust trailing behind him. Chrome. Face flushed from exertion, breathing hard, clutching something close to his chest as if it were the most valuable thing in the world.
“Whoa, what happened—?” you started, rising halfway.
“NO TIME—HOLD ON—!!” Chrome skidded to a stop in front of you, panting heavily. “Y/N—I—!! I found something BAD!!!”
“…Bad?” you echoed, brows arching.
He grinned so wide it nearly split his face. “Like—cool bad!! Not bad bad!!”
You couldn’t help smiling at his enthusiasm. “Alright then, show me.”
With a dramatic flourish, Chrome carefully opened his palms—and there, resting in his hands, was a cloudy pink stone, edges worn smooth from water, glowing faintly in the sunlight.
You sucked in a breath. “That’s—rose quartz.”
Chrome’s eyes lit up. “Yeah!! That’s what Senku called it!! Rosie quartz or—wait—rose quartz!! I—I found it by the river, while I was out looking for new minerals and stuff!! It was just sitting there, like—BOOM, right in the water! And I remembered that time I asked what your favorite gem was and you said rose quartz—so I was like, ‘WHOA, I gotta bring this back to Y/N!!’”
He babbled the whole thing out in one breath, cheeks flushing darker with every word. His excitement was infectious — and honestly, kind of adorable.
You reached out gently, taking the rose quartz from his hands to inspect it. The piece wasn’t perfect — slightly cloudy, a little chipped on one edge — but it was a natural beauty, its soft blush-pink color practically glowing in your palm.
“Chrome,” you said softly, “this is gorgeous. Thank you.”
He froze, eyes wide. “R-Really?! You think it’s cool?!”
“Absolutely,” you smiled. “One of the nicest pieces I’ve seen.”
If possible, his face went even redder. “BAD…!!! I mean—cool!! I mean—uh—great!!!”
You fought back a laugh. He was flustered. It was painfully obvious — not that he noticed.
“But—uh—also,” he stammered, rubbing the back of his neck, “I-I kinda, um… asked Senku about… you know, how people do the whole, uh… courting thing…”
Your eyes twinkled. “Courting?”
He looked like he wanted to crawl into a hole. “I didn’t get it!! They said flowers or chocolates or stuff like that—but none of that made sense ‘cause you like rocks!! And I’m good at finding rocks!! So I thought—‘Hey!! What if I gave Y/N a really good rock?!’”
He finished with a slightly desperate look, waiting for your reaction.
You tilted your head, smile growing. “Are you trying to court me, Chrome?”
His whole body locked up. “I—uh—I mean—not—uh—if that’s weird!! Or if you don’t want that!! I mean—! I thought it’d be BAD if you did wanna—!! But if not that’s okay too!! I just—!!”
At this point, you couldn’t help it — you laughed.
“Chrome,” you said warmly, “you’re very sweet. And I love the rose quartz. So… if this is your way of ‘courting’ me—” you gave him a wink— “I think it’s working.”
His jaw dropped.
“…BAD…!!” he gasped, pumping a fist in the air. “That’s—SO BAD—!!!”
You giggled, reaching out to brush a stray leaf from his hair. “Thank you, Chrome.”
At that exact moment—
“…Tch.”
Both of you turned.
Senku stood a few meters away, arms crossed, unimpressed. “Did you seriously just give my sister a rock as a love confession?”
Chrome flailed. “IT’S NOT A CONFESSION—!! I mean—maybe it is—?? But it’s just a COOL rock!!!”
Senku sighed heavily. “Unbelievable. This is why I don’t do romance crap.”
“Senku,” you scolded lightly. “Let him be.”
He gave you a long-suffering look. “Just don’t get yourself proposed to with a pebble. That’s all I’m saying.”
Chrome looked mildly panicked. “I—!! I wasn’t trying to propose!! I swear!!!”
You couldn’t stop laughing this time — the whole situation was so ridiculous, so perfectly Chrome.
But oh… you secretly hoped he’d keep bringing you “bad” rocks.
Later that day…
At some point, Chrome gathered the other generals in a whispered huddle behind the main lab hut.
“Okay listen,” he said urgently. “I need HELP. I-I gave Y/N the rose quartz and I think—maybe—she liked it!! But I dunno if it counted as a confession?? Or if I should… do more stuff???”
Gen smirked, one hand on his chin. “Oho~ A love confession via shiny rocks? How delightfully primitive~”
Ukyo blinked. “That sounds… oddly fitting for you.”
Ryusui frowned. “Are you sure this is wise? She is Senku’s sister…”
Chrome waved his arms. “No, no—Senku won’t vaporize me!! I think!! He just looked annoyed!! But he didn’t stop me, so it’s fine!!”
Kaseki (eavesdropping nearby) gave a hearty laugh. “If you’re gonna do it, do it with all your heart, boy!! Make her the best stone pendant this village has ever seen!!”
Chrome gasped. “THAT’S IT—!! A PENDANT!!! That’d be so BAD!!!”
He immediately sprinted off, shouting: “GOTTA FIND THE PERFECT STONE!!!”
Behind him, the others exchanged amused glances.
Gen chuckled. “Well… this is going to be fun.”

I have a very crazy idea. I played with the thought "What if...."
"What, if Wilson is Cyclum? The ancient King?" He just Reincarnated in another world. The "real world" in United Kingdom.
Tumblr media
I first thought about it because of the eyes. Cyclum looks like wilson used to look.
Tumblr media
If this is true, it would make sense why Wilson is valuable.
What if Maxwell kidnapped people because the shadows were looking for Wilson? - Wilson was the last person to be kidnapped in 1921, but he was the only one who made it to the throne room.
Tumblr media
What if Wilson really loves science because he's been doing it in his previous life?
The ancient king helped his people with his knowledge and magic. Became a strong technologically advanced species in the caves.
and now....
Wilson helps survivors with his knowledge and inventions. Helping Yourself and Others. Btw: And yes, a very curious person and his heart is in the right place. Eg: He wanted to rescue the nightmare werepig because he felt sorry for him.
What if time repeats itself?
What does Wilson say about you?
Tumblr media
Yeah. He is a genius and not the "camp boss" just the Modern Major-General.
He invented that....
-search the moon piece -> The moon island
-rescue the nightmare werepig
-discovering the cave system
-exploring the Ancient Civilization (Here I think of the stone tablets most and the iridescent gem.)
Almost all his ideas unleashed chaos in the constant.
What about Charlie and Metheus?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
when wilson is brutally tortured she'll be very pleased. If all this is true, then you might be smiling so hard to get revenge. Because of the past. Because he recognized Wilson and knew that he was actually the ancient king.
And in the last video, they showed how much Charlie didn't like Wilson.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
What about Wilson's beard?
It's a little interesting how natural you can grow. The magneficident Beard. Okay, This is a normal human things, but he use with meat effigy. Meat effigy is a magic item.
Why is magic things? The wood and meat not have magic, just a beard. He beard has magical powers.
If it is true that he is the ancient king. Reincarnated in another world. Then it is logical to have a shadow power or a property that comes from the constant. What if he is a Human-shadow creature? But just have magic shadow power?
Tumblr media
If you lose your mind, the rabbits will turn black. They can give you beard hair like Wilson. Wilson has a beard as big and full as a rabbit man's.
Yeah this is very crazy idea, but what if is true?
Would be a very big twist in the story.

The quest where most of the Penacony story happens is called "Cat Among Pigeons" (it's probably a reference to an eponymous novel by Agatha Christie). Smarter people than me may find more than vague similarities between them (there are gems involved, some people are secretly there for wrong reasons, some people are killed, some people pretend to be other people). The only concrete similarity I see is the gem switcheroo.
There is a plotpoint in the book about somebody trying to take possession of an ordinary object (an old tennis racket) with valuable gems secretly hidden inside by offering a new expensive racket in exchange and trying to take the old one (secretly containing gems) with them.
The same way Sunday was unknowingly in the possession of aventurine (the stone), hidden in Aventurine's bag among some cheap trinkets. Dr. Ratio then offered Sunday the other two shiny cornerstones, prompting Sunday to mokingly give the bag (secretly containing aventurine the stone) to Avnenturine (the human).
But speaking of Agatha Christie, one of her other novels came to mind. It's called "Death on the Nile", and it's about a couple who pretend to hate each other to avert suspicions from each other, although secretly they are in love and in cahoots. In fact, they publically argue (to make everybody believe that they hate each other and couldn't be working together), and one of them pretends to betray the other. Reminds you of something?
I don't think this is intentional. There is a lot of difference if you look closer, but some interesting parallels too.
Btw, I've noticed that Aventurine and Ratio are always more successful than their multiple intentional and unintentional cinematic and literary counterparts (for example, in "Death on the Nile", when the couple's crimes get exposed, the woman—Aventurine's counterpart—shoots her lover and then herself to avoid being separated again.)

can we get a yandere shibusawa x reader headcanon?<3
Tumblr media
Ofc!💖 This man is so underrated💔 He is actually one of my favourite BSD characters
He treats you as if you are a precious gem he has to lock up, far from greedy hands. In a way you kind of are, though you are much more valuable than a pretty stone. You are the only thing in the world that makes him feel. Boredom slips away as you manage to make him feel emotions. Shibusawa becomes addicted and he greedily locks you away in his extravagant mansion, like a dragon.
You are his and that is final.

Made myself tear up thinking about Girl Dad Sylus. He'd give his little girls the unconditional love he never had growing up, and (hopefully) in the process heal his inner child 🥹
And additionally...
Sylus' kids will be the first people in his life that'll love him from the very start. Everyone else has at some point wanted to hurt, use, or kill him. Or hated his guts/been disgusted by him 💔 (that part in the main story still wrecks me, his expression is so heartrending, you can so plainly see the devastation on his face. I genuinely think he cried afterwards, when he vanished for a bit. And now I am crying too from thinking about it 💔💔)
But his children will not once in their lives view him with fear, or disgust, or ill intent. Instead, they'll look at him with stars in their eyes from the very moment they begin to be aware of and recognize their surroundings.
Like everyone else, their little hearts will start pounding faster at the mere sight or sound of him. However, not out of terror, but elation, and the purest form of love, their short legs toddling towards him as fast as they can, chubby arms eagerly reaching for him. Not to do him harm, but to give and receive affection. A gesture which Sylus will always reciprocate without a second's hesitation, his strong powerful arms enveloping his babies with a gentleness and care that seemingly belies his imposing exterior, but which in reality is representative of who he is and has always been at his core: A warm and kind person who wears his heart on his sleeve, who loves with everything he's got, and whose soul smells like flowers. A man who despite his wealth and power never trampels on the weak, and who although "it may not look like it" is truly "very good at looking after people". Had society bothered to look beyond his appearance and his reputation, it too would have discovered this. Instead, it chose to cast him as a monster more terrifying than a wanderer, and that is the role Sylus has been more or less forced to play ever since, and how he has been viewed for most of his long life, even initially by the people that are now closest to him.
But never by his children. In their eyes, Sylus won't ever be a fiend nor an infamous criminal — Sylus will always be their Protector. Their Hero.
Their Daddy.
And to someone who has forever been labeled as a villain or a demon, these terms will surely be more precious than all the most valuable gems and stones in the Universe put together.

Let's have a chat about gathering & crafting (with emphasis on gathering)
Tumblr media
New topic! For all the games I've played, I rarely see systems that put more than token effort into crafting systems, and even more rarely into mechanics for gathering raw materials. This has always irked me because I feel like being a miner or a blacksmith or some other variation of gatherer/crafter is such a common fantasy that people want to indulge in, and I'm included in that so when I was planning where I would focus development for celestial solstice I knew I wanted to make gathering and crafting not only work, but be fun to engage with.
Let's hop into it with gathering, cause we need raw materials before we can craft. For the most part, gathering skills are used while traveling the wilderness but resources can be found anywhere the keeper wants to place them, like a mine dungeon for example. There are rules for generating wilderness routes which include what resources are available there (we'll talk about that more in another post), and characters can survey the segments that make up these routes to see if they have any available resources. If resources are discovered then characters with the appropriate gathering skills and tools can gather those resources.
Tumblr media
As a foundational design principle, many aspects of solstice function on a five tier system (again, we'll talk about this more in another post), including NPCs, items, factions, and a whole mess of other things including resources. As far as resources are concerned, this means a few things.
Your gathering skill needs to be at a high enough tier to gather a resource. You can't be a tier 1 miner and gather tier 5 ore.
You need to have a gathering implement of a tier high enough to gather that ore. Even if you're a tier 5 miner, you can't gather that tier 5 ore with a tier 1 pickaxe. For each tier higher the tool is than the resource, the gatherer gains a +1 bonus to tests made to gather that resource.
When you craft an item using a gathered resource, the resulting item will be of the same tier as the resource.
When you gather a resource, the amount you gather is determined by the tier. The higher the resource's tier, the less of that resource you will find.
Once you gather a resource, that resource will be depleted and you'll have to pass a survey test to find a new source before you can gather more from that route segment. This test is harder for higher tier resources.
There are five gathering skills: Foraging, forestry, herbalism, mining, and skinning.
Foraging is used to find food and water. Since characters need to eat and drink to survive, this is an important skill for at least one character to invest in.
Forestry is used to chop down trees and gather wood which can be used for crafting by a character with woodworking. The different tiers of wood are pliable wood, hard wood, heartwood, elderwood, and wyrdwood. When gathering using forestry, you roll a die for a chance to find a bird's nest a la' runescape. Check the bird's nest for bonus loot!
Herbalism is used to gather the plants and other reagents used by characters with the alchemy skill. When you gather using herbalism you gather a herb package from tier one to five rather than specific herbs and these herb packages are used to craft potions and poisons. If you roll a critical success when gathering you find a rare pristine herb that can be used to craft special potions!
Mining is used to gather ores and stone which are used for crafting by characters with the blacksmithing skill. The different tiers of resources which can be gathered by a miner are iron, coal, gaeastone, raw gem, and dragonite. When gathering using mining, you roll a die for a chance at finding a valuable fine gem!
Skinning is used to gather hides from game animals such as deer which are used for crafting by characters with the leatherworking skill. The different tiers of hides which can be gathered are thin leather, thick leather, ogre leather, tyrant leather, and dragon leather. When gathering using skinning, you roll a die for a chance at gathering a fine meat that can be cooked to make a special bonus-granting meal!
Tumblr media
I've been doing my level best to keep these posts as short as possible but I feel like I'm probably leaving things out and making things unnecessarily vague in the process. If anyone ever has any questions concerning any of these posts, let me know and I'll be more than happy to explain more fully. Once these more widely explanatory posts are completed you'll be seeing more focused content, but I'm trying to get the basics out there first so just bear with me for now. Thanks for reading this far, and happy gaming! - Forge

Everything You Need to Know About Crystals: Tiger's Eye
Tiger's Eye (The Stone of the Sun)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Color: Golden Yellow with Brown
Hardiness: 7
Rarity: Easy to Obtain
Type: Metamorphic
Chakra Association: Sacral, Solar-Plexus, Third Eye
Deities: Ra, Sekhmet, Durga
Astrological Signs: Capricorn, Leo
Element: Earth, Fire
Planet: Sun
Origin: India, Myanmar, South Africa, USA, Mexico
Powers: The Sun, Protection, Abundance, Luck, Pride, and Justice
Crystals It Works Well With: Cat’s Eye, Chalcedony, Topaz
How It is Created: Tiger’s Eye is basically a quartz but they formed in such an unusual way that the fibers of the mineral called crocidolite are laid down in parallel bands within the structure. This creates its silk like appearance and its “cat’s eye”.
History: Tombs in the ancient city of Ur in Mesopotamia (now Iraq) dating back to 2500 BCE have yielded gold sets with agates, like tiger’s eye and carnelian. The tiger’s eye was very popular due to the belief that it harnessed the power of the earth and the sun. This is why it is associated with the god of the sun, Ra and why Egyptians considered it a very valuable gem. Roman soldiers believed that the tiger’s eye was a symbol of bravery and would ride with pieces of tiger’s eye on them in order to encourage bravery during battles.
What It Can Do:
Shields the energy field or aura from negativity
Clears tension and mental blocks from the solar plexus
Can soothe, calm, and restore one’s body and mind
Banish the evil eye and curses
Attracts money while curbing impulsive spending
Used to detect liars and deceptions
Can increase confidence and pride
Placing it on your third eye can help enhance psychic abilities and balance your lower chakras
Helps unlock and unleash your true desires
Alleviates depression and lifts moods
Reduces crabbing and addictive behavior
How To Get the Best Out of Tiger’s Eye: Wear it in bracelet or amulet form.
How to Cleanse and Charge:
To cleanse: Lay it on a windowsill where the sun shines the most or bury it in your garden where the sun shines the most
To charge: You can also charge it on the windowsill with the sun. The sun really gives it a great charge, especially if one of the deities you work with is a sun god.
Crystal Grid:
Abundance (Spiral)
Base for the grid, such as wood, slate, fossilized wood, or golden card or cloth
Citrine
Goldstone
Green Aventurine
Herkimer Diamond
Jade
Moss Agate
Ruby
Tiger’s Eye
Topaz
If you’re laying a preparatory “cleansing” spiral, start at the topmost point and lay crystals alternately, with the points pointing out from the center.
Place the Goldstone in the center as the keystone.
If laying an abundance grid, begin by placing the Goldstone in the center, stating that your intention is for it to bring abundance into your life.
Lay a spiral of alternated crystals, pointing down and inward, until you reach the Goldstone.
Add a grounding stone if appropriate.
When the grid is no longer required, dismantle it.

Yknow, it took a very long time for me to realise what the title of pokemon x y (and z) meant bc up until then they were all pretty solid counterparts. Red, blue and yellow, the primary colours. Gold, silver and crystal, the luxurious. Ruby, sapphire and emerald, not only precious gems but the rgb colours (and just colour matching the legendaries too). Diamond (the classic ‘most valuable’ stone), pearl (the classic ‘most valuable’ biological ‘stone’), and platinum (the classic ‘most valuable’ metal). Black and white.
After x and y we of course had sun and moon, sword and shield and finally scarlet and violet (infrared and ultraviolet, the two ends of the colour spectrum. The only reason they wouldn’t have called it pokemon infrared and ultraviolet is bc pokemon red already exists and ppl would think it was a gen 1 remake, and ultra sun/moon also already exists).
But back when x and y came around, and I thought ‘it’s just letters, I know that the legendaries sort of look like them but if it’s opposites then shouldn’t it be a and z?’ (Cool how they brought that back with legends z-a)
And it took me way too fucking long to realise that x y and z are the three digital planes to symbolise Pokémon’s first mainline 3D game. Idk I just thought that was neat.

The current state of the Rock Wall!
Video transcript:
Who wants a tour of my rock collection?
I guess we’ll start over here; this is the newest shelf. I just added it. A lot of stuff from the other shelves have now joined this shelf. It’s got a nice little sliding glass door to protect my more high-end specimens. On this we have a lot of my thumbnails, including some of the more delicate, or some of the more valuable thumbnails. Some of my more high-end specimens over here, like that beautiful wulfenite.
I have started labeling the stones now, so some of the stones have these neat little labels, and some of them do not. But everything in this case does.
And then of course some of the larger high-end specimens down here. And I’m not sure what I’m gonna put on those lower shelves yet.
Up above that I have a new display case, and this is where I’m putting all of my cabochons.
So here I’ve gotten it down and we’ll open it up. This is all velcro. I made this myself out of a normal shadowbox that I got at the store. These are all attached by velcro so that I can take them out and rearrange them and add more to them and move them around.
This case is lighted. The case next to it is technically lighted, but the lights are out of battery right now. Eventually I want to switch that to something more permanent that can be plugged in all the time so I don’t have to constantly swap out the batteries.
This is the Original Rock Shelf, so it is crammed full of some of my oldest specimens. I recently did a project where I added these acrylic risers to it to kinda make a little bit of space, which made it a bit less crammed, which is nice. A lot of specimens on this shelf. Buch of geodes down there. That’s Geode Territory.
Next to it, below the North American giant ground sloth bone, we have more of my thumbnail specimens. Just a bunch of little guys. I’d like to light this shelf too. I think that would help them show up better. The meteorite collection is over here. We got some rust on this guy, but I think he’s doing okay. And then over here, my opal collection. So here is the Ethiopian opals, we’ve got an Australian opal, we’ve got a Honduran opal back there. That one up there is also Ethiopian opal, right in the middle.
Down below that, just more of the really tiny stuff, and some miscellaneous stuff.
The spheres and eggs are under that. The one under a cloth is a reconstituted quartz. If I leave it where sunlight can hit it, it’ll burn my house down so I just keep it covered because I’m a little bit paranoid about that.
Miscellaneous stuff: I got some tumbled stones, I got some palm stones. Just… stuff gets thrown down on that shelf.
The shelf next to it. This was at one point my large specimen and high-end shelf, and at this point is just the large specimen shelf because the high-end shelf is now over here. Which has made this shelf a lot less crowded, to move all that stuff over. Again, I’ve got my acrylic risers on there. I have a bunch of my big specimens. I’d like to light this shelf too. You can see how the shadows are kind of a problem like on the halite in the back there.
And then below those are the agates. This shelf is the bane of my existence. I have so many agates that I physically cannot cram any more agates onto this shelf. I’m gonna need to get some more risers and see if I can clear a little bit of space for the agate collection.
Down below that, some more miscellaneous large things. Got a jade, got a labradorite, got a kambaba stone. In the box is vivianite, but it can’t be exposed to light, so it lives in a box. And then here I have another one of these shadowboxes that opens up, and it’s got a bunch of gem jars inside of my very very small stuff.
And then over here, this is the shelf where my newest stuff starts living. Stuff that I’ve added to my collection most recently. This is also where all the fossils are living currently. And in that box is all the crinoids I just pick up off the ground. We have a ton of them around here.
Underneath that we’ve got this big desert rose, fills the whole shelf.
Next to that I have this tiny shelf that has some of my rock-adjacent things like my mineralogy puzzles. Tully lives here. Some of my mineralogy books but not all of them. They don’t all fit.
And that’s the short and sweet tour of the current state of my rock collection!
