My head canon is that Perkinsvert has terribly stiff shoulders and Valjean tries to give him some shoulder massage, but Javert is also oversensitive and if touched in a slightly wrong way he would hiss and squirm like a wild cat

Morning. Because if it was a good morning, there'd be a scene in Les Misérables (1978) in which Inspector Javert (Anthony Perkins) gets bent over and rawdogged hard by Jean Valjean (Richard Jordan) until he's pregnant.

But I mean what do I know.

So, I’m going to describe a ship to you:

-it is a ship that comes from a book/book series, though there have been other adaptations made

-one of them is a policeman, the other is a man who has at one point in the story held a position of power, specifically as the leader of a town

-the policeman character has strong dog motives, stated so in the text

-the policeman has, at one point, arrested the man in power

-one of the men is a father, the other is a person with no real relationships outside of the other man

-the characters start off with mutual distaste for one another, but one of the characters, the policeman, holds on to this distaste for a lot longer

-the ship itself is fairly popular in the specific fandom, but it is not the most popular ship from this fandom

-it is firmly within the range of old men yaoi

-a significant shift in their relationship and their views of one another occur during a revolution of the commonfolk against a corrupt system, with the revolt itself containing a baricade and the tragic deaths of young people for the cause that ends up being ultimately futile
