Hii, I hope you doing alright!!

So heres a kinda fun fact, I've been learning kenjutsu (like kendo but in a more traditional way) so yeah I've been learning how to use a katana.

And well, I often edit character palettes from guilty gear accent core, which means I can see character sprites, and when I was looking at Baiken's sprites I started to analyze what she was doing in her attacks, and damn, first of all, Baiken sure is really strong, bc wielding a katana with only one arm isn't easy because:

1. The weight of the sword.

2. You'd have to constantly and quickly change the way you grip the katana to cut something succesfully, which is pretty hard at least for me, I tried doing some of her moves (since I'm also going to cosplay her I could try doing some of her moves) and the sword slipped from my hands often and I almost ended up hurting my wrist.

But well, now I have another reason to admire her, also I hope she doesn't suffer arm/wrist pain (she probably does)

I think I remember I saw a video that mentioned the weight of a katana and how it's not as light as it seems, especially when holding it with one arm, which immediately made me think "Oh damn she's pretty strong then regardless." But also now that you mention it, constantly switching the grip in order to use the sword properly takes some serious skill too. She's probably gotten the world's worst carpal tunnel at some point while learning how to use that thing.

(Also she'd most definitely have biceps I will not be swayed on this.)

hello!!! I love AnBai and your work with all my heart! This is exactly how I saw them, but I couldn't implement them! THANKS FOR THAT!!

I recently realized that AnBai really remind me of the characters from Lilo & Stitch by David Kawena and Nani Pelekai. It seems to me that there is a similar dynamic in their relationship (only their homeland has not been destroyed). What do you think?

Honest to god I have genuinely thought about doing some Lilo and Stitch stuff for them, although it was mainly in the context of Baiken and Delilah as Nani and Lilo (Manager Vampire, record player, that sorta thing) But now that you mention it, Anji as David does make a lot of sense. I think if they were in a more modern world he'd probably go out of his way to make sure she had opportunities for jobs, get her to take breaks when needed, just generally be there for support without asking much in return... ...except for maybe one date, if she's up for it.

I was wondering, do you have any Delilah headcanons? I write fanfiction and I was looking to expand my view of her (so to speak). Also just wanted to see more discussion of her, my friends who are actually into Guilty Gear don't really care about her as a character lmaoooo

As much as I like to yap about the bedfam I do not give nearly as much love as I'd like to Delilah, someday girly, someday... But fortunately this ask gives me the perfect opportunity soooooo:

Since she makes a lot of picture diaries, I like to imagine she either draws frequently or has a camera (got it as a gift) to take pictures with.

Piggybacking off of that, she also has the horrible artist shrimp posture. Baiken keeps telling her to sit up straight despite being a hypocrite.

She has several alarm clocks and they are all useless/more of a nuisance to her guardians than anything

She's learning how to make wagasas/umbrellas with Anji and it's a little way to bond through the process, the first few were very messy and also not safe to open, but he still keeps them stored in a closet somewhere (got this from one of the old GG confessions I saw like a year ago).

She doesn't like making mirrors nearly as much because it means she has to polish them for a long time and it wears her arms out.

Sometimes she steals borrows Anji's umbrella paints for her diaries (he is aware of this).

She likes to lean on Baiken while reading on the porch, this has resulted in several goofy positions.

She likes starting petty arguments because it gets on Anji's nerves and Baiken finds it hilarious.

Baiken gets her little gifts/souvenirs when she comes back from traveling/bounty hunting.

Delilah is also the reason why she doesn't smoke indoors.

She likes playing with Ram's puppy and/or Dodomezaki during gatherings

I think it would be really funny if she could go into people's dreams and pester them for stuff. She goes into Baiken's dreams one night to ask/subtly suggest getting donuts for breakfast but it's in the creepiest way possible. She does get Delilah donuts after she promises to never do that again.

She'd be into old literature and get very passionate about it. Baiken likes hearing her talk because she doesn't really get to see her be super lively that often, even if she has no idea what Delilah's talking about.

Despite the Bed being there, she still misses Romeo.
