additionally [digital art edition]:
art by @vebrailey (me)
compaq computer ms paint default color selection from may 9, 2011 version of V (supposedly its tan. so glad technology improved)

2023 in procreate version of v

a reminder for any of my oc backgrounds for @thebadtimewolf and @themadvigilantist :

under the cut is unrelated dont look at it
do you know how many poc versions of canon or oc related muses i have seen jumped so many new refurbished accounts that they just straight up deactivated due to the lack of attention? lack of interest? not so much a peep or whisper but the second u put up a billie or david suddenly they appear in troves. so in case ur wondering: yes all of them are poc - @themadvigilantist and @thebadtimewolf were supposed to black.
even now, it is glaringly obvious that because the dr's first face isnt a old yt man but a young black female child and ppl discrediting it by using bad writing as an excuse. it isn't bad writing, u were conditioned to only accept old yt man as default and now that the first default face is actually a black girl (sidebar: who favors the actress that plays disney's ruby bridges which like gosh i mean its been a while! hope shes doing well); suddenly the loud and wrong opinion of toxic fans are suddenly always correct. the dr is canonically a poc now and now? suddenly oh i dont count the timeless child - ncuti is 14 ladadadee i hate being indirectly told that i easily fell into racism even tho i am outwardly not one so its not my fault its the writing. even tho this is coming from the same ppl who are flanderizing tenrose and getting huffy that others see it - find fault in it that actually makes it human than their preconceived notion of conservative/tory human - and call it out for what it is.
i mean gosh i wonder what wouldve happened is sacha doctor was forced to regenerate and he turned to ncuti. no proper bye from 13, no proper last words. i know what the headlines wouldve been because yall predictable just like how yall reacted to martha first apoearence is exactly how yall be reacting that reflects within the rp community. It shows that you are better off watching grass grow and licking plaster off walls.
anyway all this is to say if you dont know how to rp with poc muses you're better off not rping at all. my muses are a walking code switch that stays on because the second its off, everyone goes away.

@galaxiasus sent (6) for the spotify wrapped meme! — ( haunted! )
“ DO YOU THINK I’M FRIGHTENING? ” if there is one plea that has forever been forgotten, it is the one the stone god makes only in hushed whispers. there is a vast expanse between their existences aligning; from when he breathed life into their world and from when he first stood ground beside him. he supposes, then, this reality must be rather overwhelming to him, to the man that followed him in such earnest—head bowed, staring at his feet, digging his nails into his hands. amarathine then, has not lost his role as observer; there is only one conclusion to reach, one reason for his own prayer gone unanswered. “ is the mantle i once held so meaningful to you? i cannot comprehend it . . . who i once was is no longer who i am in our—your—present moment, what about me worries you so? ”
#` ♱ amaranthine. ┊ there may be glory ahead‚ but our love will be forgotten. ╯#galaxiasus#` ♱ in character. ╯#amarin vc you know im out of commission right. im jobless. in this economy???

Web Summit opent investeringsfonds
Foto: Web Summit (cc) http://dlvr.it/QqT8q8

Hour One raises $5M Seed to generate AI-driven synthetic characters from real humans
All of the people pictured above are real, but what you are seeing are synthetically-generated versions of their real selves. And they can be programmed to say anything. Tech futurists have long warned about humans being replaced by life-like AI-driven figures, where it would be almost impossible to tell between machine and human. Indeed, there’s even a new book on this subject of ‘deep fakes’.
But that future comes a step closer today with the news that Hour One, which creates AI-driven synthetic characters based on real humans, closes a $5 million seed funding led by Galaxy Interactive (via its Galaxy EOS VC Fund), Remagine Ventures and Kindred Ventures (with participation of Amaranthine).
Hour One will use the funds to scale its AI-driven cloud platform, onboard ‘thousands’ of new characters, and expand its commercial activities. Founded in 2019, Hour One develops technologies for creating high-quality digital characters based on real people. The idea is to generate production-grade video-based characters in a highly scalable and cost-effective way. The upshot of this is that what appears to be a real human could talk about any product or subject at all, to the point of infinite scale.
This was showcased at its “real or synthetic” likeness test at CES 2020, challenging people to distinguish between real and synthetic characters generated by its AI.
Oren Aharon, Hour One’s Founder and CEO said in a statement: “We believe that synthetic characters of real people will become a part of our everyday life. Our vision is that Hour One will drive the use of synthetic characters to improve the quality of communication between businesses and people across markets and use cases. By enabling each person to create their own character together with our scalable cloud platform, we will provide a variety of solutions for next-gen remote business-to-human interactions.” Hour One is currently working with companies in the e-commerce, education, automotive, communication, and enterprise sectors, with expanded industry applications expected throughout 2020.
The company also showcased its “real or synthetic” likeness test at CES 2020, challenging people to distinguish between real and synthetic characters generated by its AI.
The real issue, however, is how will this technology be deployed without it being abused.
Lior Hakim, cofounder and CTO says this potential problem is dealt with via encryption technologies to secure the use and rights of the characters enabling “anyone to identify our videos as well as mark them as altered to notify the viewers”. The company also says it has an ethical policy code for how its technology is used.
Sam Englebardt, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Galaxy Interactive says the startup’s “ethics-driven approach to the creation of synthetic video” is key and that “given how challenging production with live actors has become as a result of COVID-19, now is the perfect time for businesses of all sizes to produce their content with Hour One’s synthetic characters.”
Clearly this will reduce the cost of synthetic character creation meaning any textual content could be “automatically translated into a live-action video of a person that engages an audience by speaking the text” said Eze Vidra, Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Remagine Ventures .
Speaking to TechCrunch, Business strategy lead for Hour One Natalie Monbiot, said the company has a unique ability to onboard “basically any human being and turn them into a synthetic character that’s a lifelike replica of that person. So it’s not an avatar or a version of that person. It really does look and behave like that person. You can then basically generate new content by uploading new texts. So, for example, in e-commerce, you can pick your characters and get them to present your product or do a product presentation. This means every single product SKU can have its own video presentation.”

WHAT IS YOUR MUSE'S DARKER LOVE LANGUAGE?

an undoing influence
Can someone tell you what to do? You have been carrying so much love within you for so long it is starting to turn into anger (why does it matter, all you see is red anyways) and you have been dragging this body through each day and every night you are split open on your bed and it is so so so lonely. If someone were to walk in while you were on your bed that way and they stitched you back in a new way, lining the seams with their love and kisses, you’d probably find this dreary world a little more bearable. You want someone to turn you over and over until you look in the mirror and see yourself looking back at yourself with a gentleness which has been lacking in you since forever.
v saw @brendan-block do it on the dash & now she's appalled it went for her throat like that.
#vc: 11 1/2#vc: amaranthine#mv: canonie#mv: cogitations#{vin looked at that quiz and really went: best not}
