Hace 21 años se lanza en América Viewtiful Joe. Es un juego beat’em up 2D desarrollado por Team Viewtiful para el GameCube de Nintendo. Fue originalmente parte de los Capcom Five, éste del director Hideki Kamiya, y producido por Atsushi Inaba. El juego fue luego porteado para el PlayStation 2, por el mismo equipo de diseño, ahora bajo el nombre Clover Studio, subtitulado Aratana Kibo ((新たなる希望, lit. "Una nueva esperanza") en Japón. La historia del juego concierne a Joe, un fan del cine cuya novia, Silvia, es secuestrada durante una película que protagoniza el héroe favorito de Joe, Captain Blue.

CYBER PHANTOM [Electric Brain Phantom Cameo Leon's Theme] (Viewtiful Joe 2 [2004])

Did I mention how awesome it is that the Viewtiful Joe series consistently features unique music for every individual boss fight, minus the rematches? No? Well, that’s another reason you should give the soundtrack of the series a try, if not the tough 2D action games themselves!

Like with the other Viewtiful Joe track from 5 days ago, I’m not very good at describing this one, but I know I liked that one and this one well enough to favorite them undoubtedly! With my lack of knowledge, I guess it comes down to the “epic 2000s sci-fi battle” atmosphere I get from it, which the samples provide a lot for as well
