TMI: lipstick stains - masked slasher edition
the inevitable dilemma happens: itâs on their mask, on them, on you. Masked slashers reactions when things get a little messy.
Asa Emory / The Collector
on his mask and clothes? eh, it happens.
while he does seem to be neater compared to the other slashers heâs not going to fuss over it too much.
his âwork attireâ is almost completely black anyways so itâs hardly noticable. on his regular clothes however he might get a little peeved if it keeps happening.
meaning: next time heâs going to hold you by the chin (or by the neck, if youâre into that) so you donât get too excited.
on himself? heâs the one calling the shots here so heâs aware of it. doesnât put too much thought into it and cleans up afterwards.
on you, however, heâs really into it.
the first time it happens he immediately realizes that he actually prefers you to look like you had just come out of a particularly steamy makeout session. (especially if he has other victims around.)
rating: 8/10. hot. nothing like matching pairs of smudged lip stains to let everybody know who you belong to.
Brahms Heelshire
this greedy ladâs always asking for kisses anyways so heâs already anticipating it.
if you cover his porcelain mask with kiss marks heâll be over the moon! if you sneak around quietly enough, you might catch him admiring it in the mirror. no, heâs not going to clean up. not even if you ask!
on his clothes? who cares! more! more kisses! (letâs be real here - youâre probably the only one doing all the laundry anyways.)
on his actual person? who cares! again this is brahms, so itâs going to get messier real quick. love bites are more his thing but lipstick marks are good too. hell, have a load of both!
he is NOT going to leave you time to freshen up at all if the grocery boy happens to stop by. and yes, while the undignified fool will ogle at your slightly dishevled post-makeout state, thatâs all heâs going to get.
INSTANT EGO BOOST. ..sooo howâd it go? did that idiot see how nicely he messed you up?
rating: 10/10. now heâs twice as horny. loves it on you. sees it as asserting his dominance against the grocery boy.
Bubba Sawyer / Leatherface
kisses for him? heâs excited! he would be SO happy to get kisses in general so heâs not going to mind all the lipstick.
kiss him some more! he loves it! like brahms, heâs likely not going to clean up his mask afterwards either. to him, it means you love him enough to show it off to everybody else. his heart would swell with pride.
if any of the sawyers nag at him heâll begrudgingly clean up a bit. but surely heâll feel better if you gave him some more?
either way this man is a sappy romantic so heâll probably have a designated handkerchief for it. you know, to save all your kisses, and also to keep in his pocket for safe keeping. (if you happen to find out heâll get a little embarrassed.)
on you? oh, youâre so cute with your wobbly lipstick! how silly! here, heâll help you clean up and reapply.
rating: 12/10 for the kisses. not that into the âwe just made outâ look. doesnât see the appeal in it, just knows he loves you a whole lot. honestly heâs just super thrilled about being a lovey dovey couple with you and making you look nice again after.
Jesse Cromeans / Chromeskull
on his mask? cute. if heâs in a playful mood heâll even let you get more on there but only because he has a twisted sense of humour. imagine heâs out and about, slaughtering people in all his bloody glory - but with little kiss marks on his otherwise polished mask. he can be lovable too, see?
donât expect him to keep it on there for long though. heâs a very well-kept man. on his clothes heâll allow it if itâs accidental. but like asa, he wonât hesitate to hold you in place if it keeps happening.
if he happens to bring you to his workplace heâs a little less tolerant.
loves basking in your affections in private, but heâs just more strict around his cohorts. takes pride in dressing well and you, being the trophy spouse, would no doubt be decked out in designer and looking your best too. stain-free.
unless of course, an impromptu makeout session in his office occurs he might allow it. if it was your doing, heâll rough you up at home afterwards.
rating: 5/10. thinks its cute but for his eyes only. his clothes and his mask are expensive, so itâs only endearing the first few times. otherwise it gets annoying.
Jason Voorhees
loves loves getting kisses. probably wonât notice it on his mask at first since he normally doesnât like looking at himself. once he notices heâll immediatelly get butterflies in his stomach. this man is just so weak for you, even remembering you kissing him gets him all warm and fuzzy.
heâll admire it for a while before reluctantly wiping it off. he might not remember to wipe it off if there are intruders around. your safety is his first priority, after all.
if you happen to be at the stage where heâs comfortable kissing you unmasked heâll get visibly flustered seeing you with your lipstick smudged.
immediately feels guilty for having dirty thoughts. what would his mother say?
like Bubba, heâll tidy you up afterwards. heâs less confident in his makeup skills but heâs not going to leave you looking like that, especially when his mind is going to all sorts of unholy places.
starts picking you up and holding you a lot after this. (lowkey giving you access so he can get more kisses.)
rating: 7/10. thinks its hot but wonât admit it. impure thoughts BEGONE! only romantic christian kissing at his camp. wait.. youâre technically already married, right? ...right? now worries about pre-marital kissing.
Michael Myers
physical affection with michael = russian roulette. he could be indifferent to it, stalk around and continue doing business as usual with his mask covered in kiss marks.
or it could go VERY badly. catch him in a bad mood and youâll be choked until you pass out.
michael likes being in control above all else so having little old you covering his face with kisses? on your own accord? HORRIBLE. choke and think about what youâve done.
he is however, a big fan of seeing you look completely and utterly undone under his hands. the smudged lipstick is just a nice icing on top.
heâs a curious man, so heâs probably going to try to cover you with... other questionable things. the possibilities are endless!
if you somehow have unlocked unmasked!mikey he wonât care much for the lipstick on himself. wipes it with the back of his hand later on if he happens to remember.
rating: either -10/10 or 8/10 depending on his mood. kinda meh about just the lipstick stains, more into the bruises he can decorate you with or the reactions he can pull from you. you know what would look hot on you? your flirty co-workerâs blood.
Thomas Hewitt / Leatherface
hums appreciatively if you happen to smooch him all over after a long day. it might take him a while to notice the lipstick all over his face. luda mae might have to teasingly point it out to him - prompting a hurried exit. THE leatherface? embarrassed? you must be seeing things.
he has it set in his mind that he needs to be the intimidating chainsaw-wielding man that protects his family so as much as he loves you, heâs likely not going to keep your kisses on his face for long.
tommy absolutely adores you though, so expect him to nudge your head slightly with his as an indication to start covering him in kisses again.
if he sees you in a messy state with your lipstick smudged, the realization will hit him hard. heâll be in awe. he made you like that. you allowed him to - and enjoyed it. once he snaps out of his daze heâs quick to escalate things.
afterwards this man is going to pamper you to the max. heâll clean you up and cuddle you for as long as you let him.
rating: 100/10. loves the affection but gets shy around others. doesnât ogle the marks, but seeing it on you gets his gears going.
Vincent Sinclair
very hesitant to let you anywhere near his face at first. eventually heâll realize youâre trying to kiss him and not forcibly unmask him to pick at his appearance. (oh, dear trauma...)
while it takes him a long time to even allow it, and even longer with his mask off, he savours every bit of affection like itâs the last time.
on his mask heâll notice right away and be blushy about it. he would keep it on for a while but would wipe it off eventually. heâs very particular about the upkeep of his mask since he considers it his actual face, after all.
on his actual face, heâd be more focused on the feeling of your lips on him more than anything else. feel free to go south if you want to hear him whine. he gets excited quickly.
heâd be super overwhelmed if you covered his face with kisses! and maybe a tad bit emotional. you love him this much? all of him? is this real? are you real? he isnât dreaming?
doesnât notice the lipstick until much later on and gets super embarrassed about it. might freak out about it secretly in the bathroom. if you happen to leave marks on him further down, heâll be way into it.
on you, heâs going to try and fix it up afterwards. has his hand always been this shaky? donât give him that look! excessive blushing.
rating: 9/10. affects him a great deal, but itâs the intimacy that has his heart doing flips. this man blushes a lot underneath the mask. takes him a while to be affectionate. heâs trying his best, damn it!

Which of the slashers do you think would go down on a girl, and would they be good at it?
Oh a fantastic question.
Now this might be a wild ass opinion but hear me out here-
All the worthwhile ones.Â
Deadass, every, single, one, I write for, would and do. I will go through the main ones here and slap it under a read more. Here are some of my personal thoughts and opinions on slashers eating out.
Freddy Krueger does it more for him than for you, he likes to do it simply for what it can do for him. Favored way for him to edge in my opinon, using his skills to make you a mess and then leverage that to get whatever he wants, use your fervent desperation and the promise of more oral to get what he wants out of you. Skills are un-real and un-natural and inhuman. Bastard. Love him.
Bo Sinclair would be good at it, be the kind of guy who can do it in a very dominant way, and more how he wants to do, the fact you enjoy it is more secondary, but you best believe he loves doing it to you.Â
Stu Macher does. Just that is it. He does, he loves it, he is good at it, prefers it to him getting oral. Enthusiastic is his word. Would give rather than get every time. Messy too. His face and your thighs are gonna be wet by the end of it or he feels he didnât do it right.Â
Billy Loomis does too obviously. He is good at it but in such a casual way it is almost maddening. Like he does it so easily and is able to get such reactions without doing much, every move is purposful and it alllll works. Plus he looks really fucking good while he is doing it, which is fucking unfair.Â
Herbert West it is not his favorite thing, but he certainly does not shy away from it. He does it, methodically and well. That is all.Â
Leslie Vernon does. Jesus fucking Chirst he does, try to keep him from between your thighs, TRY IT. Impossible. Anytime, anywhere, he will do it on a whim, getâs the slightest craving and he is on his knees in front of you. You never even get the chance to ask because he is just on that shit, but if you ever did ask then obviously he would be down and on and doing it. And of course he is fucking good at it. He prides himself on reading people and if you are his then you best believe he is memorizing every tiny little thing about how you react when he is down on you. Getâs better and better.Â
Lester And Vincent Sinclair do. Not many personal opinions on either but they both fuckin do and like it. Vin is better at it, loves to please you and will do it whenever you ask. But Lester is all too happy to try it, inexperienced but very eager, will tell you how much he loves having the chance to and the taste too.Â
Buddy Swanson eats out as well as he cooks and he is an amazing cook. Another to initiate before you ever even have the chance to ask. Loves to do it anywhere, personal favorite of his is to wake you up with it. Adores that moment when you stir awake and pull back the covers to see him between your spread thighs, peering up at you through his thick brown curls and when he sees the look of sheer pleasure and surprise on your face he cannot hold back and you can feel his smile against you. And he doubles his efforts once you are actually awake.Â
Sam Wescott is fucking UNFAIRLY good at it. Donât ask how or why this headcannon got started but I imagine he gives fucking God-teir oral, there is no reason he is this spectacular at it but he is and you are just holding on for dear life, head empty, no thoughts, only focus is on his mouth and what he is doing to you. And you can feel the love and care through every pass of his tongue, passionate and caring and will stay down there all fucking night and let that be it if you so wished it. He does it the least selfishly and the most reverantly.Â
Warwick Wilson does. Is amazing. Years of experience. Been with a lot of women, puts years of actual skill to use. You arenât expecting it and thus are not ready for it the first time it happens. Also acts like it isnât that big of a deal, a very âof course I am good at it, what did you expect?â casual and cocky. Loves to tease you about it too.Â
Ash Williams does, like obviously. Of course he is good at it, duh, takes direction amazingly well. Just wants it to be good for you, tell him what you like and he will be more than happy to do it how you like, he will also throw in a curveball every now and again to see how you like it.Â
Charles Lee Ray is shockingly good at it. Tiff has given him tips over the years and he has taken her advice to heart. He has seen her go down on other women and knows that she knows her shit and will conceed in that area. One of the few places he abandons his ego.
Tiffany Ray Valentine is the best. Just the best. Anyway you want it she is able to give it and will blow your mind. And she loves it. Obvi.
---
Thank you so much for this ask Anon, very nice to get this all out on record honestly.Â

Thank you so much, @petalbrooke! This is awesome! I love how much Sebastian and Abigail love Sam, and I canât get over those hidden bits of maturity and depth Sam shows.Â
Three Friends & a Wedding
Petalbrooke
Gus was busy frosting a delicate flower on the top of a three tier cake when Haley burst in. She was carrying a large camera, already dressed in her formal wear, and was running around taking care of a hundred little things â telling Vincent he needed to get in his tux, double checking that the lights were right, inspecting the flowers Gus was piping at that very moment. She smiled, giving it a slight nod of improvement.
âBeautiful, Gus! How are the preparations for dinner coming?â
He waited a beat, making sure that the flower was perfect before stepping back. âEverything that needs to be cooked has been, and thereâs a few more dishes that Iâll put in at that last minute. The cake is done,â he said, giving it a little spin on its rotating pedestal. âWhat about the decorations, Haley? And whatâs the camera for?â he asked, giving it a wary look.
âOh, I finished that this morning,â Haley said, primly brushing some dust off her skirt. âIâm running around town, getting some footage of everybody before the ceremony. I thought itâd be nice to get it on camera for Michele, and itâll probably be chaotic at the afterparty.
Gus carefully moved the cake from the counter to the shelf in the back to the fridge, where it would sit until it was time to cut it. âWell, tell her sheâs an absolute delight, and her Fairy Rose mead is the best Iâve ever had.â Haley nodded, knowing that Gus was too shy to appear on camera.
âIâll see you later, Gus. Iâll get you on camera somehow!â she sang, waving goodbye.Â
She found Abigail and Sebastian holed away in the formerâs room. To Haleyâs delight, they were already dressed, both in nice fitting black suits. She made a mental note to arrange for a change in the Flower Festival uniforms. Sure, the powder blue was traditional, but it wasnât flattering. âGlad to see you made it up, Sebastian,â Haley teased. He merely glared at her over his cup of coffee, still not completely awake.
âItâs my best friendâs wedding,â Sebastian said, not unkindly. âOf course Iâm up.â
âWhatâs with the camera?â Abigail asked, piling her amethyst hair in a bun as some sort of experiment. Michele hadnât specified anything; she just wanted everyone to be comfortable. âI know youâre doing photography, but I figured youâd wait until I was with Michele. Do you want me pretend to style Sebâs hair or something?â she said, throwing a laugh over her shoulder. Sebastian snorted over his coffee, though it lacked true amusement.
âIâm doing pre-wedding interviews,â Haley said, already setting up her tripod. âI wanted to get some footage of Micheleâs favorite people talking about how much they love her on her best day ever. Hurry up and finish that cup of caffeine so you donât look like you just woke up.â Sebastian sighed, but downed the rest of the sizeable mug in one gulp.
âAre you going to ask us questions, or is it more of a free range kind of deal?â Abigail asked. âIâm not great on camera.â
Haley rolled her eyes. âAbi, you look stunning on camera and off, with the charisma to boot. Just start talking and donât worry about flow. Iâll do whatever cuts I need to do. Both of you, sit there,â she said, pointing to the one clear wall in Abigailâs room that didnât belong to her guinea pig. They complied, slightly squished. It would have to do; she didnât have time to set up a whole studio.
âAbigail, you start. How are you feeling?â
Abigail squirmed in her seat, her eyes darting from the camera to Haley and back again, unsure of where she wanted to focus her gaze. âWell, nervous probably covers most of it. But also⌠happy. Iâm sorry, I canât talk the way Elliott does,â she said, scratching the back of her left ear. A nervous tic. Haley gestured vaguely, indicating that no, it was fine, just keep talking. âBut you should have seen the look on Samâs face when he told us Michele had said yes.â
âOh, you should have been there when he finally decided to commit,â Sebastian added, his eyes brightening now that theyâd really turned to the topic of his best friend. âWe were playing pool, you know, the usual, and Iâd smoked those two in five games already-â
âThree, it was three games.â
âRegardless, I had smoked them in all the games weâd played, and he just got this look on his. I remember poking at him with the stick because heâd gone all slack-jawed.â
âLooked like that time he got shocked trying to fix the sound equipment and fried half his eyebrows off,â Abigail cackled. They went like this for a few minutes, back and forth about the various ways Sam had caused himself bodily injury on stage, in rehearsal, just messing around with their instruments. Haley didnât interrupt, knowing it was all good footage, now that the two of them had melted into the natural ease of their friendship.
After a few minutes of ribbing, Sebastian seemed to remember that he had originally had a point. âOh, Abs and I were worried. We thought that maybe he was having a stroke. And finally he came to, and in the most reverent, tender voice, he said âIâm going to marry her.ââ
âWe knew who her had to be. Obviously, he had been smitten with Michele the day they met. But we hadnât expected the marriage thing so suddenly,â Abigail said, reaching for Sebastianâs coffee, and frowning when she saw there was none left. âAnd then he just ran off!â
Haley started, genuinely surprise. Everyone had heard the engagement story. She hadnât realized he hadnât even planned it.
âYou mean to say that Sam caught her at their favorite place in the Valley, while the sky was all shades of pink and gold, and the wind was blowing just right, and he proposed to her then, without any other thought to it?âÂ
âYup,â Sebastian said, his eyes gleaming with a hint of pride. If Haley didnât know better, she thought he might cry then. âWe helped him pick out a ring the week before, but he said it was just in case. Heâd know when the right moment was. The right moment just happened to be after I smoked him in pool.â
âHe needed at least one victory that night,â Abigail crowed, and it took some time to get them back under control. Haley glanced at the clock nervously â she had other people to visit, and she wanted to get some footage of Sam as well.
âAnd what about them together?â Haley blurted out, knowing that if she didnât interrupt them, theyâd go on until sundown.
âTheyâre perfect,â the pair said in unison. Haley hoped they had somehow rehearsed that answer; otherwise it was rather unnerving.
âSam is sunshine, and Michele needed that when she took over that old farm. But Sam needed her too.â They glanced at each other again, and Haley motioned for them to go on, please, film wasnât cheap!
Abigail stood, Sebastianâs coffee cup still in hand, and made her way towards the kitchen while Haley scrambled to gather her camera and follow. âSam was going through some stuff at the time. He hadnât heard from his dad in a good whileâŚâ she trailed off as she turned the faucet on, letting soapy water fill the mug, not looking at the camera. She didnât need to say more for Haley to understand. âSebastian and I supported him as much as we could, of course, but it was a hard situation. He was falling into a depression. We had to call Harvey once,â she added, brushing a stray curl from her face.
She tried to smile, but Haley could see in her eyes that it pained her, even years later, to talk about it. âBut then Michele moved here, and they just clicked. Maybe at first it was the novelty of a fresh face in a town of, like, twenty people. It morphed into them hanging out all the time, and he was taking care of himself, and he was just so happy.â
Sam is always happy, Haley thought, but then, she didnât know Sam. Not like these two did. And even without knowing him so personally, she knew his brand of cheeriness changed when Michele was around. They were two planets whose orbits danced within each other, two brightly shining stars that only served to make the other more brilliant.
Abigailâs smile had warmed as she continued, leaving the earlier sad memories behind. âMichele was the best thing that could have ever happened to him. I donât know⌠I donât know if heâd be the same person now, if she hadnât come when she did.â
Sebastian nodded solemnly, though that solemnity didnât last long. âHeâs still the same loser when it comes to pool, though.â
Haley glanced at her watch and started at the time, realizing sheâd been recording them for at least half an hour, with little time left to talk to Sam. âIâve gotta go,â she muttered, hastily gathering her equipment, though neither one of them really seemed to notice â they were both too busy still ribbing on Sam. âSee you both in a bit!â They both waved, and Haley walked at fast clip to Samâs house. She was going to get this footage and make Michele a lasting memory if it was the last thing she did, she swore to Yoba.
~
âSam?â Haley called, not bothering to knock as she entered the home he still shared with his parents and brother. Although that wouldnât be for long â obviously Michele couldnât abandon her farm, and wouldnât five be a bit of a crowd? Vincent was sitting on the front couch, already dressed in a dapper little tuxedo. Haley prayed to Yoba that Jodi was holding on to the rings he would have to bring down the aisle. Kent was beside him, sliding him the occasional fruit gummy to keep him from whining about the suit. Jodi was nowhere to be seen â perhaps she was helping Sam, or maybe already in the square, putting some finishing touches on the decorations.
At the sound of her voice, Sam poked his head out of his room, his wild blonde hair subdued, but only slightly â the most he had done was tuck in the hairs that had flown out of place, which was a lot for him. He was mostly dressed, but still struggling to tie his bowtie.
âCan you help me with this?â he called, and she shoved her way into his room. He hadnât seemed to have packed anything â sheet music and clothes were strewn across the floor, his bed was unmade, and all his books were still on the shelves. Haley reached up and swiftly tied the bow, patting his chest.
âThere. Now youâre ready to meet your bride.â Samâs grin, already naturally large, only expanded, nearly meeting the tips of his ears. He flushed a bright red and chuckled, fluffing his hair in the back and messing it up even more.
âI bet she looks so beautiful right now. Have you seen her? How is she doing?â
Haley shook her head, setting the camera up for what would hopefully be the last time before the ceremony. âSheâs gorgeous, Iâm sure, and doing fine, but I havenât seen her yet. Iâve been running around collecting memories from the townsfolk, and I wanted to get a few words from you before we had to get out there.â
Unlike Abigail, Sam had absolutely no problem being on camera. In fact, he relished it, flashing the camera a cheesy, over the top grin. âIâm not used to being on camera without my guitar,â he said, his fingers drumming an erratic beat on his thighs.
âIâm sure youâll be a natural. Now tell me about when you first met Michele? Was it love at first sight?â Haley breathed, her fingers shaking as she made sure Sam was in focus. Sheâd dreamed a love like that, had grown up watching princesses in movies fall for a man who rescued them from unfortunate circumstance. Sam and Michele were nothing like that â they were better, and she didnât know anything like that could have existed before seeing them.
Sam nodded, the beat picking up as he slammed his palms against his thighs. âOh, I donât know if it was love. That takes time, you know? But I was awestruck when I saw her.â His eyes took on a dreamy, far off look as he remembered the day sheâd appeared on the train to take over her grandfatherâs farm. âShe was just stunning, and a little shy. I was afraid to say something stupid, and Iâm sure I did⌠after falling on my face going to shake her hand,â he laughed.
Haley remembered that. Sheâd been part of the crowd that had gone to greet her, and Sam had tripped on a tree root and falling flat on his face, acquiring multiple scratches and a nosebleed.
âIâm lucky she let me take her out to the saloon later. Though, itâd been weeks at that point, and Iâd done enough to kind of fix my image in her eyes.â
âAnd then?â
âWe fell in love,â Sam said, as it were as simple as that. âShe challenged me to become a better version of myself. She gave me the confidence and support to get our band off the ground. She gave meâŚâ he scrunched his eyebrows in thought, trying to figure out how to word whatever he was thinking. âI donât want to say purpose, because a person shouldnât give you purpose. But she shows me, every day, how beautiful the world is, and how beautiful we can make it, if we work for it.â
It was, perhaps, the most mature thing Haley had ever heard Sam say, and she felts tears beginning to form at the corners of her eyes. She blinked rapidly, trying to suppress them; her eyeliner had taken too long to smudge now. A bell chimed, and she started, knowing sheâd only have a few minutes to set up her camera for the ceremony.
âThat was great, Sam, sheâll love it, donât be late!â she called, gathering everything in record time. He followed her out, eventually finding his mother, who smoothed down his hair.
Maybe ten minutes later, everybody was seated, Haley in the prime position to catch Michele walking down the aisle. Jas had already thrown the petals out, and the rings, thank Yoba, were in their proper place. Everyone stood and turned at the sound of a door opening, and rather than focusing on the bride â there would be plenty of time for that â Haley shifted the camera towards Samâs face.
The expression that dominated his features was the most lovestruck Haley had ever seen on a person. Heâd been fidgeting waiting for the ceremony to start, but the sight of Michele in a gown that perfectly accentuated her figure â compliments of Emily â had stilled him. His jaw had slackened, but his smile couldnât be wider, and his eyes had widened in actual shock. It was as if there was nobody else in the entire Valley.
Haley adjusted the camera as Michele took her place across from him, smiling just as widely. They were so focused on each other, it was a miracle that they could repeat their vows. They had found a home in each other, and as they sealed their union with a passionate, slightly-too-long kiss, Haley knew it was going to be better than any fairy tale.

I Was Feeling Heroic Chapter 9;
Chapter 9 - I Was Feeling Heroic Series.
First Season.
Second Season.
"Our home, once the pride of our family, now a flophouse," Klaus says as they walk into the compound.
"Indeed, the mighty have fallen," Elijah says, they walk towards the couches that were covered in dust, the signs of a fight could be still be seen on the dusty floors.
"Where's Vincent?" Hayley asks, Vincent walks into the building.
"Right here," Vincent says. "Kept my word, now the only question is whether or not you guys are gonna keep yours, as soon as I'm finished healing your kid, you got to leave the city."
"Well, we're not gonna stay, are we?" Klaus says. "Your city has lost its charm."
"What he means to say," Hayley says giving Klaus a glare. "That we're very grateful, just help her and we'll leave." Hayley lays Hope down on one of the sofas, crows started swarming above the compound, squawking loudly.
"Just give us what we want, and we will do so happily," Elijah says.
"Excuse me," Vincent says, he walks towards Hope bending down next to her. "Okay, Nettoyer timoun sa a. Nettoyer timoun sa a. Nettoyer timoun sa a. Nettoyer timoun sa a. Nettoyer timoun sa a." Vincent chants, after a moment Hope opens her eyes and looks at Hayley.
"Mom?" Hope says, Alex studies Hope for a moment, feeling a dark aura still coming from her, Hayley held Hope against her.
"That's it, your little girl's purified," Vincent says as he stood from the ground, Alex gently shakes her head.
"Thank you," Klaus says gratefully as nobody saw Alex shaking her head.
"No look, the only gratitude I need from any of you is seeing you leave the city," Vincent says, Vincent walks past Klaus but stops once he saw the look on Alex's face, something told him that it wasn't over.
"Go see your daddy," Hayley says, Vincent turns to look at Hope as she walks towards Klaus, suddenly the crows above them fell to the ground surrounding Hope.
"What is this?" Klaus asks, concern laced in his voice, Hayley rushes towards Hope and holds her against her.
"I don't know," Vincent says, Hope begins looking around as Alex hears soft whispering.
"Mom? Can you hear that?" Hope asks, Alex looks around trying to find something, someone. "It's whispering." Everyone looks down at Hope, except Alex.
"Kre Nah Han, Kre Nah Han," Alex says as she heard the as Hope, everyone looks towards Alex. "That's what it keeps chanting, over and over again" Everyone turns to look at Vincent, He lets out a sigh.
"It's a nearly forgotten dialect," Vincent says. "It's Creole, it means 'The Hallow.'"
"The Hallow is coming." Alex finishes for him. "And I'm guessing, just by feeling how cold and dark it is, that's not a good thing."
Alex walks down the stairs glancing at Klaus as she does.
"I gave her a plush toy after enchanting it, it will help keep the Hallow at bay, but not for long," Alex says. "I read somewhere in one of my books about the Hallow, but this happened a long time after the nephalem war, which was during the 3rd millennium BC, it was born in AD, killed during the 5th century, not many of us were left during that time."
"So it's ancient?" Klaus asks, Alex nods her head.
"I was just on my way to see Vincent, perhaps you could come along?" Elijah suggests, Alex nods her head.
"And I'm going to see, Marcel," Hayley says, Hayley leaves the compound.
"Did this book of yours perhaps say anything about how to get rid of it?" Klaus asks, Alex shakes her head 'no'.
"As I said, there isn't much about it, just a page about its existence," Alex says, Klaus nods his head. "Look after your daughter, Klaus, and we'll see you soon." Alex and Elijah leave the building.
Alex and Elijah step into St.Anne's church and stood in the back observing everyone, Alex looks at from everyone as Vincent tries to reassure his people, she looks up at Elijah.
"We were interrupted last night." Alex softly says, Elijah looks down at her. "Perhaps we could sometime try it again when we've solved this?"
"We could," Elijah says. "Do you perhaps something in mind? A place? A date?" Alex softly smiles at him.
"I'm not sure when we'll get rid of this thing, but I'd like to see a little bit of the world," Alex says. "I've heard Belgium has some beautiful forests, such as the blue forest."
"Belgium it is," Elijah says giving her a smile.
"Now, this thing is dark, it's angry, it's powerful," Vincent says.
"And ancient," Alex says interrupting him, everyone turns to look at Alex and Elijah.
"It is a force my family and I are here to erase, now, kindly excuse us, please, we have much to discuss with Mr Griffith," Elijah says.
"Get going, Ladies and gentlemen," Alex says, the coven of witches stood and slowly made their way to the exit while Elijah and Alex walk towards Vincent.
"So, now that we've dispensed with the needless hysteria." Elijah begins once everyone had left the church.
"I got a lot on my plate, Elijah, without whatever trouble you're trying to bring my way," Vincent says.
"You look tired," Alex says. "Which is exactly why you need us."
"Fortunately, I have a long history of removing anything undesirable from New Orleans," Elijah says.
"I'm probably one of the things on that list, so I reckon it's best for me to work alone," Vincent says.
" I assume you know a little bit about it, and I have an entire page of knowledge, perhaps we could discuss it?" Alex says, Vincent thinks for a moment, should he accept their offer or deny it?
"It's not an offer," Elijah says. "Children's lives are at risk."
"You care about children's lives at risk?" Vincent asks, disbelieve clear in his voice. "What about Davina Claire, Elijah?"
"You know damn well that her soul is safe." Alex cuts in, taking a step closer to Vincent.
"Alex," Elijah says, he placed his hand on her shoulder, pulling her back, unwillingly she took a step back, Elijah softly squeezes her shoulder. "So, you can only see me as some kind of merciless butches?" Vincent looks at Alex before back at Elijah.
"Yes, I do," Vincent answers truthfully.
"I'll be whatever you want me to be, vincent Griffith," Elijah says. "I'll be the devil himself, but make no mistake, I would violate everything sacred under the sun in the name of rescuing my niece, and right now, according to you, you are facing two evils." Elijah slides his hand from Alex's shoulder to her hand, interlacing their fingers. "Wouldn't it be nice to have one of those by your side?" Vincent looks down at their hands, before looking up at Alex.
"Three evils, actually," Vincent says, Alex softy chuckles glancing at the floor as she licks her lips.
"And wouldn't it be nice to have two by your side?" Alex says. "A family of original vampires, and a nephalem that's growing stronger and stronger each day, I might even be the one to destroy it, or you could be the one, or they could destroy it, but we'll be stronger together."
"We're gonna do this my way," Vincent says after a minute of silence.
"Beautiful," Elijah says. "Your way it is."
Vincent scatters some ashes on a table.
"And who might this be?" Elijah asks.
"These are the ashes of a witch that lost his way, and it might just be the key to helping us find ours." vincent says. "This thing, um, the Hallow its magic has a very unique signature, I felt it back on this witch the other day when Marcel and I took him out, so if I can trace that energy to its source..."
"You can find the rest of these fanatics," Elijah says, Vincent moves everything into place. "So this thing which haunts my niece has spoken to you?"
"It's more like, uh, a broadcast, and I was able to shut it out, but a lot of people have a harder time doing that," Vincent asks, Alex picks up one of the artefacts in the room and examines it.
"Like your wife?" Elijah asks, Vincent turns to face Elijah.
"You know, there's a difference between what we protect, and what we have inside of our hearts," Vincent says. "What we try to hide inside our hearts, right, now that thing, it took everything that's dark and twisted it inside of me and it used it against me, it used it against my wife and it ended up taking everything that I've ever loved away from me." Alex puts the artefact down.
"So then you have every reason to want to remove it from this earth?" Elijah states more than asks.
"Yeah, but let's say we run into that thing today, Elijah." Vincent begins. "It's gonna take everything you want to keep buried, it's going to use that  and make you do exactly what it wants you to do, and that's what makes you a liability to the very niece we're all trying to protect." Elijah turns his gaze to Alex.
"Then you both best stay away from it," Alex says as she steps closer to them. "I don't have much that I wish to keep buried, and that's just my addiction from a couple of years ago."
"Let's get to work," Elijah says, he had faith in Alex, vincent glances at Alex before nodding his head.
Vincent lights some sage to burn it before he started to chant.
"Chèche le virtute, Chèche le virtute, Chèche le virtute, Chèche le virtute." Vincent chants, He drops the sage into the bowl as he saw who it was.
"What is it?" Elijah says. "What did you see?"
"I know who it is," Vincent says, a smirk begins growing on Alex's lips.
"Care to share so we can go fetch him or her?" Alex says.
"You can't help me, you can't even help yourself, don't you see? You're in the middle of everything that's to come, which why they sent me here, Vince." Will says as he takes out his handgun. "For you." Alex appears in front of Vincent as Will fires his weapon, the bullet piercing Alex's skin.
"Ouch, that kind of hurt," Alex says, a devilish smirk on her lips. "Did I interrupt something?" Will turns around only to run straight into Elijah, in a blink of an eye Will was tossed over the counter, dropping his weapon.
"That is quite the monster you got lurking in there," Elijah says, veins sprout underneath his eyes as his fangs grew from his gums, Alex picks up the firearm and melts it using holy fire.
"Or mine?" Alex asks. "It doesn't exactly play nice." Her eyes flash a dark blue, unlike the Hallow's eyes which were a lighter blue, Alex appears by Will's side and grabs the back of his knee, pulling him to his feet as Elijah pulls out a chair. "Let's have a chat." Alex forces Will to sit down in the chair and Elijah ties him down to the chair, they step away and Elijah leans down to compel him.
"Your vampire tricks won't work on me," Will says, Alex placed her hand on Will's shoulder, knocking him unconscious, his head falls forward making Vincent look at her with concern.
"What did you just do?" Vincent asks as he walks towards Will.
"Oh relax, he's sleeping," Alex says, Vincent lets out a sigh of relief, he examines Will for a moment.
"All right, well, someone cited a spell to block his mind against your vampire tricks," Vincent says. "I can break that, Elijah, it's just gonna take me a little bit of time." Vincent looks up at Elijah.
"A luxury we don't have," Elijah says.
"Look, Elijah, I'm not gonna let you torture him, all right? He's my friend, and he's just as much of a victim as all those kids." Vincent says, trying to reason with Elijah.
"You have five minutes," Elijah says, a relieved looked passed over Vincent's face.
"All right," Vincent mumbles turning back to Will, Elijah turns to look at Alex.
"Can you get inside his mind?" Elijah asks, Alex nods her head.
"In a very painful way, but whatever he's trying to hide, I'll be able to find it," Alex says, Elijah nods his head, Five minutes quickly passed and Elijah's patients grew thin.
"Time's up," Elijah says, Vincent turns around.
"Hold up, Elijah!" Vincent says loudly, a perfect distraction.
"Why do you insist?" Elijah asks, Alex walks towards Will, Vincent not paying her much mind.
"Because he's my friend, and because a witch told me that I'm the one that gave this thing breath, now I don't know what I did to let it into this world, but I know I ain't just gonna let it take him out," Vincent says, Alex stops behind Will as claws replaced Alex's nails.
"You're taking too long," Alex says, Vincent turns around as she placed the tip of her claws against Will's neck.
"No, no what are you doing?" Vincent asks.
"I'm going to read his mind," Alex says, she pushes her claws into Will's neck, he lets out a scream as he wakes up, Alex lets out a scream as she feels her fingertips burning, she removes her claws and saw her fingers healing from a burn, Will breaks free from his bindings and takes out a talisman from one of his pockets, he held it towards Elijah as he sped towards Will, an invisible force pushes Elijah back.
"There's no going back, Vince," Will says, he uses the talisman against Vincent to knock him down before turning it towards Alex.
"That's neat," Alex says, Will pushes the talisman towards Alex but she uses the talisman's dark magic against him, Will flies back and hits the ground. "Have I not introduced myself?
"That's not possible," Will says to himself.
"I'm Alex Zastrod, and you or any other witch, can't use dark magic against me, because I control the darkness," Alex says. "That includes dark magic." Will got to his feet, picking up a chair and throwing it towards Alex, Alex uses her power of reality-warping to turn the chair into smoke, the smoke quickly clears but by the time it does, Will had already escaped. "Dammit!" Elijah stood from the ground and looks at Vincent as he stood from the ground.
"Any other wonderful ideas?" Elijah asks.
"We track him," Alex says. "Because instead of trying to get into his head, he tagged him with magic."
"He's gonna lead us back to to the kids," Vincent says.
"I know, but we should hurry because I don't think it's the kids that are their target," Alex says.
Vincent, Elijah and Alex stood near the entrance of a wooded area, the sun had set as they waited for everyone to arrive.
"I assume you told everyone to be on their best behaviour," Vincent says.
"Oh, I told them, now whether or not they'll be obedient is another thing altogether," Elijah says, Klaus was the first to arrive. "Where's Hope?"
"Freya and Jackson are with her now, she fighting it, whatever it is," Klaus says. "That plush toy that you gave her seems to help." Marcel and Hayley arrive.
"All right, the kids are attacked to that spell, if we save the kids, we save your little girl," Vincent says.
"And the sooner you all can be on your way." Marcel states.
"Clearly we're skipping the hugs and hello's, Vincent?" Hayley says, she wanted to know which way they needed to go.
"Trail leads off this way, so I guess we, uh, follow the breadcrumbs," Vincent says.
"Tactless savages holding a ghost-raising rave, Best make short work of them, I say we-" Klaus begins but Marcel quickly cuts him off.
"We split up, Klaus you're with me, I'm not letting you out of my sight," Marcel says. "Anybody got a problem with that..." Marcel walks past everyone, ready to enter the woods. "I don't give a damn."
"And I'll join you," Alex says, Marcel stops in his tracks turning around to look at her. "Do you have a problem with that, Marcel?" Alex takes a step towards him, he was about to protest. "No? Perfect, then let's go." She walks past him, bumping her shoulder against him, she looks over her shoulder at Marcel and Klaus. "Are you two coming?" Marcel and Klaus follow her into the woods while the others went another route.
"I assume you embark upon this journey out of the kindest of your heart?"Klaus asks, Alex examines some markings on a tree.
"There are kids in trouble, yours included," Marcel says.
"It's a bit late for you to suddenly care about my child, given the fact you left her fatherless for five years," Klaus says.
"Well, speaking from experience, I figured I was doing her a favour," Marcel says.
"Careful, last your insults mar an already tentative peace," Klaus says.
"All right, listen, I don't care about our peace, all right? I care about finding these missing kids, wiping out the messed up people who took them, root out the problem, make them go away, that's what you do when you're King." Marcel says.
"All I see is a petulant Prince," Klaus says.
"Always with the insult, you never do learn," Marcel says, Alex stops in her tracks as she turns around to look at them.
"On the contrary, my time in your dungeon clarified my priorities, my concerns are with my child, and as for you, I can imagine no better revenge than leaving you to the endless struggle to prove yourself my better, you're welcome, by the way," Klaus says.
"Can you two just fucking shut up," Alex says, they look at her. "There are a time and a place for kids to fight, and this isn't the time nor the place." Klaus was about to protest. "Now, if you two haven't been paying attention to these markings, it means we're almost there."
Alex, Klaus and Marcel were behind a bush watching a group of witches surrounding the children, Will was holding the talisman in his hand ready to join their coven.
"I know what I have to do, I'm not afraid," Will says.
"We should begin." The leader of the Acolyte says while stepping away from Will.
"Enough with this circus of sadists," Klaus says as he breaks a branch off.
"Agreed," Alex says, Klaus throws the branch towards the Acolyte leader, killing him instantly, the three of them rush out from the bushes while Hayley, Vincent and Elijah came from the other side, Vincent and Hayley went to the kids while everyone else fought off the witches.
"Hey, we got to get the kids, get the kids!" Vincent screams, Will raises the talisman refusing to stop the ritual. "Will? Will, come on man, it's over!"
"No, Vince, it's only just begun!" Will says, Klaus speeds up behind Will and grabs his throat. "You can't stop what's coming." Klaus snaps his neck and a circle of fire suddenly surrounded both Klaus and Marcel, knocking them unconscious as well.
"NO!" Vincent screams, Alex kills the last witch as Vincent placed his hands on an invisible barrier surrounding the fire. "Oh man, we got this all wrong, they wanted us here."
"I told you I have a feeling it wasn't just the kids," Alex says.
"Why?" Elijah asks, Alex placed her hands on the barrier, feeling the energy flowing through her.
"They want to channel your power and anchor the hallow to the living world," Vincent says, he begins inspecting the children. "Okay, they're alive, these kids are linked to that ritual, We can't free Marcel and Klaus unless we break the spell."
"How do we stop this?" Elijah asks, his eyes displayed concern for his brother.
"I don't know, it's a sacrificial ritual," Vincent says. "I can't break it unless I kill one of the kids." Elijah looks down at the kinds, considering it.
"No, no, there has to be another way," Hayley says, Vincent looks towards Alex as her hands were still resting against the barrier.
"Alex?" Vincent asks, Alex looks over her shoulder at him. "Can you break it?"
"The energy is extremely high, but if I can manipulate it, I'll be able to destroy it, saving the kids and them as well," Alex says, she turns her sight back to the barrier and closes her eyes to focus on the energy, a soft golden glow moved from her shoulders down her arms to the invisible barrier, the golden light spread over the barrier smothering the fire, as the barrier breaks the energy sends Alex flying back.
"Alex!" Elijah says as she speeds towards her, he goes down on his knees and lifts her upper body. "Alex?" Alex opens her eyes as she gasps for air.
"Did it work?" Alex whispers, Elijah looks towards the kids and saw them looking around.
"It appears so," Elijah says as he looks back at her.
"Good." Alex breathes out. "Can we go home now? I'm tired."

Confessions (7)
They arrived back at the inn and walked inside. When they walked into their room, Alexa kicked off her heels and leapt onto the bed. Vincent chuckled and was about to join her when there was a knock at the door. He slithered over and opened it to find the innkeeper. He was holding a bottle of wine. He handed it to Vincent and smiled. âItâs on the house. I usually bring her one anyway. There glasses in the cupboards.â
âThank you sir.â He smiled back and took the bottle. After closing the door he slithered over to the cabinets that held the glasses. After grabbing two he made his way over to the bed. He used the tip of his tail to tap Alexa. She flipped over, âHmm?â She noticed the bottle of wine and quickly sat up. He handed her a glass, âHe said that you usually get one when youâre here. Itâs uh, not very cold though.â
She chuckled lightly, âYeah I know. They usually arenât. Thatâs why I do this.â She took the bottle into her hands. The bottle slowly grew colder, and her hands began to frost over. When it was cold enough, she handed the bottle back and shook the frost off of her hands. He chuckled as he punctured the cork with his claw, âGood thinking.â
âThank you~.â She responded with pride. He poured her a glass, then himself before placing the bottle down and making himself comfortable on the bed. The two grew silent. Alexa, again, didnât know what to talk about. But she didnât mind the silence too much this time. It was nice to just enjoy his company. Vincent was feeling the same way as he played with her hair. He didnât get to see her often due to her extremely busy life, and the tasks of his own life, so just laying there with her was fine with him. Alexa started thinking about their date from the other night. She played in his hair as she thought, causing him to purr. They did learn a lot about each other through that game they played, and she wanted to do something like that again. After a few more minutes of thinking, she hatched an idea. She looked down at him, âLetâs play a game.â
He raised a brow, âWhat kind of game? Like, hide and seek?â
She giggled, âYa know, as fun as that sounds, no. Itâs called truth or dare. Ever heard of it?â She would be surprised if he did. She only really learned about it from her counterpart. She had played a similar version of it with friends and family when she was little, but it was a little more extreme. It even had a different name. A lot of mischief from the people she dared. A lot of biting, and fighting. So when she found out there was a more tamed version she was excited. He lifted himself up, âI donât think I have. What does it entail?â
âOkay so, itâs like 20 questions, but with an addition. Iâm sure youâre familiar with the concept of daring someone?â He nodded. She continued, âAlright itâs that, but the person who asked âtruth or dareâ, gets to choose the dare if you decide to pick it. Interested?â
   He shrugged, âSure, why not?â
Her tail wagged as she set her glass down on the bedside table. She laid down and kicked her legs in the air. âOkay, Iâll go first. Truth or dare?â
He snickered at her behavior and thought for a moment. He laid back down and turned to her. âTruth.â
Now she had to come up with a question. She looked up at the ceiling in thought, then she looked at him and remembered what she was doing before. âOkay, how do you get your hair so soft? And fluffy?â
He chuckled and grinned, âA lot of maintenance.â
âOh come on. There isnât something you put in it?â She pouted. He waved a claw at her, âAh ah ah, you already asked your question. My turn.â She scoffed and motioned him to continue.
"Truth or dare?"
"Truth."
He tapped a claw on the bed in thought. What could he ask? Basic questions? Favorite drinks or animal? Where would she have a vacation? The last one was a good question, but not something he had much interest in asking. Then, something faint rang in his head. He remembered what her friend said. What was her name? Caroline! He thought. He grinned at her, "You know, Caroline told me you don't like to lie. She even told me that you thought I was good-looking. Are there, other, words that you'd use to describe me~?"
She scoffed and shook her head. Of course she would tell him that. She didn't know, but Alexa knew that her telling him that only fueled his ego. But fine, she was going to go along with the question. "Yeah, she's right. Lying makes me very uncomfortable. I would only lie in dire situations. Now about your question, yes, there a lot of words I could use. Gorgeous, attractive, hot. Ya know, the works."
"Nothing else? There isn't any other word~?"
She raised a brow. She didn't think she missed anything, and she couldn't think of anything else besides...that, word. Was that the word he was really talking about? Alexa rolled her eyes at him, "I'm not saying the 's-word'."
He raised a brow and chuckled. "Really? The 's-word'? Why won't you say sexy?"
She shuddered at the word, "One, it makes me extremely uncomfortable. Two, I think your head will explode from the amount of air that'll fill it once I call you that."
He never really heard anyone becoming uncomfortable from that word, but to each his own. When she made the comment about his head, he pouted and flicked her forehead with the end of his tail. She laughed, "Alright, your turn."
"Fine. Truth or dare?"
~
Vincent was laughing at her latest answer to one of his questions. âHow much trouble did you get into?â
âA lot because I had already hit him, and then I started pelting apples at everyone. Including my parents.â She snickered. He laughed and sighed. The game was going well, and the two shared a few secrets here and there. The occasional embarrassing childhood story sprinkled in. But, they never dared each other to do anything. Alexa continued to pick âtruthâ because she did not know what he was going to dare her to do. The mystery was a part of the game, but still. Vincent only waited for her to answer âdareâ first because he had some ideas in mind. Something that he would have her do than ask her about it in another âtruthâ question. Alexa was starting to become bored with just answering questions, so when he did ask her again, she simply answered, âDare.â
She could have sworn she saw a glint in his eye. The smirk that was growing on his face was not helpful either. He pushed himself off of the bed and slithered over to the window. He threw open the curtains and looked up in the sky. It looked amazing that night: no clouds and the stars shined bright. But the brightest was the moon. He unlocked the windows and opened them. He turned to her and motioned her over with his claw. She rolled her eyes and got up. She looked outside and looked around. She glanced up at him, âOkay? What am I doing?â
âLook in the sky Lexie~.â She raised a brow and looked up. The sky was lovely, okay? She could see constellations, possibly other planets, the moon was high, and-...No. He was kidding. She slowly turned to him and looked at him with narrowed eyes. He looked back with a devilish smirk. She only had the impulse to do it every few moons, and this wasnât one of them. He raised a brow, his shit-eating smirk plastered on his face, âWell? I think you figured out what I want you to do~.â She snorted at him and pushed him away from the window. It took her a minute prepare herself. She glanced at him, âYou sure about this? They always tend to be kinda...loud.â
âYouâre stalling~.â He said in a sing-song voice. She pouted and huffed. She took a deep breath and erupted the peaceful night with an almost ear-piercing howl. He thought that she was bluffing. He quickly covered his ears until she was done. When she was done, she tapped her chest a few times and cleared her throat. She quickly closed the window and pulled the curtains back. He uncovered his ears and blinked a few times. She flicked her tail at him and walked back to the bed. âTold you. My turn. Truth or dare?â He gave the spot next to her a few pats. He leapt onto the bed, causing her lift into the air for a moment before landing back on it. He placed his chin in his hand, âTruth.â
âReally? Youâre gonna have to choose âdareâ at some point.â Her expression showed how unfair he was being, and he laughed. âI will. Just not now~.â She sucked her teeth and flopped on her back as she thought of a question. She did want to know more, but she couldnât form any words into a question. At least any that pertained to him. He waited patiently, and poured himself another glass of wine. She watched him as she thought. What else could she ask?...wait... She looked up at him with a grin, âWhat do you think of...us?â She only asked to, put it bluntly, be a little shit. At least thatâs what she was calling herself in her head.
He was about to take sip from his glass when she asked her question. He paused. Just what was she expecting to hear from him? He glanced down at her, â...well, depends on what youâre eluding to.â
âI think you know what Iâm talking about Vince. Iâm just curious so you donât to elaborate too much on it.â She said as she pushed herself up and scooted closer to him. He scoffed and swirled the wine in his glass. âOkay, well...â His voice trailed off. He really had to think about his answer, and word it properly to make sure she understood his point. After a few minutes, he placed his free hand on one of hers. She watched him for his answer. He interlocked his claws with hers, and she did the same after hesitating to do so. âI would like to think that we have a, sort of special relationship. I donât really know how to explain it, but I think I can simplify it as that I like you. I care about you. A lot.â His face was a light shade of pink. Her grin turned to a soft smile, and she laid her head on his arm. âYour turn.â
   âRight. Truth or dare?â
   âTruth.â
   â...same question.â
She chuckled, âI guess I would have the same answer then. You kinda summarized it up pretty well.â He smiled and caressed her hair. âYour turn.â
   âAlright, truth or dare?â
   âHmm...dare.â
â...hm.â She wasnât expecting that. But that gave her a chance to give him a dare that was somewhat like the one that he gave her. Or...she could make him do something else. Alexa lifted her head off of his shoulder and stroked his hand with her thumb. âI dare you...â She placed a hand on his cheek, and turned his head to face her. â...to kiss me~.â
Vincent blinked a few times. This...wasnât exactly a dare for him. It wasnât like he steal a kiss or two in the past. But he could see what she was trying to do. He didnât kiss her right away, no. He had to at lest tease her a bit for her choice in a dare. âReally now? You know you donât have to dare me. Or even ask me as a matter of fact~.â
She rolled her eyes, âReally? Just shut up and kiss me.â He chuckled as he leaned down and pressed his lips against hers. It was soft and Vincent began to slowly coil around her to bring her closer. He realized mid-kiss that she just said to kiss her. She never said how long. He pulled away after a minute, which made her pout. He shrugged, âWhat? You didnât tell me how long to do it.â
She raised a brow, âAre we still playing the game?â
  âI guess, no?â
âThen as long as you want, or till I say so. Whichever comes first~.â She pressed her lips against his, this time with a bit more passion. He kissed back and ran his claws through her silky hair. She wrapped her arms around his neck, pulled the bow that held up his hair, and did the same. The kiss lasted several minutes before they pulled away from each other. They smiled at each other, and Alexa let out a yawn after. He chuckled lightly, âSleepy?â
âHeh, yeah. Itâs been a long day, and even though we took that nap earlier, I could use a good nightâs sleep.â
âHm. I agree. Come one.â Vincent repositioned himself so that he was on the bed, and Alexa was next to him. His tail wrapped around her arms to make sure that she stayed warm, and she laid her head on his chest. It didnât take long for Alexa to fall asleep. She had his purring and him playing with her hair to help with that. He watched her sleep soundly with a smile before dozing off into slumber himself.

The Originals 402 Recap âNo Quarterâ #TheOriginals
Episode grade: 8
The Mikaelsons, newly awakened and famished, drink a bus full of prisoners. I get that weâre meant to feel okay about this murder spree, because theyâre theoretically bad guys, but the odds are that some of these guys are in for non-violent offenses, and one or two are probably even innocent. Man, itâs hard to just relax and enjoy stuff sometimes. Letâs pretend that this bus is full of violent psychopaths.
Anyway, they need a big meal, because theyâre on their way to New Orleans to find Klaus and take him back from Marcel. This will be no small undertaking, hence the carbo-loading.
Upon arriving in NOLA, they go straight to find Josh and lean on him, threatening to harm his new boyfriend if he doesnât help them. Even still, he nearly warns Marcel, and I canât tell if thatâs loyalty to Marcel or defiance against the Mikaelsons. Either way, it doesnât happen, because Elijah is quicker (and fortunately for Josh, somewhat forgiving).
Rebekah meets with Marcel to keep him busy while her siblings and Hayley search for Klaus. Itâs a nice scene between these old lovers. Marcel will always have a soft spot for Rebekah, and for what itâs worth, you can tell Rebekah would prefer not to have to attack Marcel. But sheâs prepared to do what it takes for her family. At the heart of this episode is the pain Marcel feels at never being truly included in the Mikaelson notion of family.Â
After all, Klaus sired him, and Elijah raised him, educated him. Rebekah even loved him. But still, in the end, heâs not their blood. Even Hayley managed to penetrate the Mikaelson bond, and all she did was have a one night stand with Klaus that resulted in pregnancy. Marcel still gets treated as an outsider after everything heâs been through with them, over the course of more than a century.Â
Sofya shows up to bring Rebekah down, though Marcel forbids killing her. Now that Marcel is aware of the plan to rescue Klaus, he texts Josh a code word to convey the situation. Of course, Josh already knew, he just couldnât do anything about it. Heâs been under guard by Kol while the others worked to free Klaus. Heâd been in the middle of trying to comfort Kol, because of their shared connection to Davina, whom Kol is mourning. In the midst of all this, the text comes in, and Kol snaps Joshâs neck rather than killing him, noting that Josh is lucky Davina liked him.
This is nice. A common flaw on shows like this is that people leave their adversaries alive for no good reason, and it always comes back to haunt them. A lot of the time, critics and fans refer to why a character survives a scene as âbecause theyâre in the main credits.â The Originals is making sure to give clear and consistent reasons for not killing people, and I admire their attention to these details. If Freya had been left to guard Josh, Josh would be dead. But Kol loved Davina, and Davina loved Josh, so Kol would never harm Josh if he didnât have to.Â
Kol rescues Rebekah, and they wait for the rest of the family at the rendezvous point.
While his siblings have been searching for him, Klaus has continued to suffer the effects of the blade of psychic torment. As an upside, his subconscious manifests as Cami. She tells him the things only she cared enough to say, just as she did in life, challenges him on his excuses and his fears. She aptly points out that he is on the verge of truly becoming a father to Hope. After all that time he raged at the world about his devotion to his daughter, heâs now terrified of getting to know her at an age when sheâs getting smarter and more aware, when she might see him at his worst. She might judge him and be disappointed, or worse, she might take after him and become a monster.
Cami convinces Klaus to fight through the fear and pull the blade from his chest so he can participate in his own rescue. Good timing, too, because Elijahâs in real danger from a righteously angry Marcel. After all, Elijah did actually murder Marcel.Â
Klaus manages to get the blade into Marcel, and they escape. They havenât got much of a lead, though, because Marcel is supervamp these days; he plucks the blade right back out with little fuss.
Marcel confronts them as they are about to get away, and it gets ugly. Kol snipes at Marcel, âYou were never a Mikaelson. Get over it.â Klaus offers a truce, pointing out that Marcel may manage to kill some of them, but he certainly wonât kill them all, and heâll be a target for the rest of time. Klaus makes it seem like a generous offer, to leave NOLA and never return.Â
But Marcel is too smart for that. He rejects the offer and makes one of his own. The Mikaelsons leave and never come back, sure, but itâs his mercy that allows that. They donât get to claim a victory in this.
Klaus will indeed meet his daughter, and he looks so happy about that, itâs easy to imagine his moving on from any sense of injured pride over Marcelâs parting words. Unfortunately, their exile from NOLA wonât last, because that symbol Hope has been compulsively sketching is about to be a very big problem for everyone.Â
Vincent has been searching for Maxineâs missing son, and he found a very creepy house in the woods inhabited by a glowing thing, a ton of bad magical energy, and the symbol, which he recognizes. And here Sofya thought Vincent was putting up the symbols as some kind of rebellion against Marcel. I hope she learns to trust Vincent, because theyâre all going to need him in this fight.
Another great week, right? Talk about it in the comments. Â

Confessions (6)
They arrived at the inn and walked inside. It was quaint, and didnât have a lot going on. A old man fiddled with papers and such behind the counter when he noticed them. He quickly walked around the counter and took Alexaâs hand. âYour highness! Iâm so glad to see you again, and with a new body guard. Hello hello! Welcome to the Sleeping Bear!â
Vincent chuckled and waved. Alexa giggled, âNo heâs just a friend. Iâm sure a woman came by and gave you the money for the room?â
âYes maâam. You can go right ahead up my dear.â
âThank you so much.â She smiled. She motioned Vincent to follow her up the steps. They climbed three sets of stairs before entering a hall with four sets of doors. They approached a pair of doors at the end of the hall. When opening them they were greeted by a lavish room. Two couches lie within and a nice sized table. Alexa walked inside and Vincent followed, closing the door behind them. âThis is a very nice room indeed.â
âI know right? I love coming here every time I have a meeting. I can always relax or catch up on some work before the galas.â She walked into the bedroom and hung their clothes in the wardrobe. âSpeaking of the gala, we have a few hours till then so we can do something to kill some time.â
He slithered into the room and flopped onto the bed. He watched Alexa place the rest of her things in the wardrobe when his brain hatched a thought. An almost unsettling evil smirk spread across his face as he slowly, but surely, coiled around her legs. âSo, you didnât have anything else planned before the gala?â
She noticed what he was doing, but didnât play along. Not now. She thought it would be more fun to play dumb for a bit. âNope. There is much to do here, donât get me wrong, but as you could clearly tell during the last discussion, meetings tend to tire me out.â His tail had wrapped around her waist now, and by the looks of things she was finished with the unpacking. He lifted her over to the bed and placed her beside him. He sat up, placed a hand on hers and leaned in uncomfortably close. His words were soft with the touch of his cat-like purr, âWell, why donât we keep ourselves busy then, hm~?â
Her face grew red, but her plain expression didnât change. At least, for a moment. She gave him a blank stare to buy her a bit of time to figure out how she wanted to respond. After a couple of minutes, she huffed. He raised a brow at her reaction. This was a bit new. Was she starting to become annoyed by his teasing? These thoughts were put to rest when she smirked back. It was a little daunting to see her pull such an expression. He was a bit more surprised when she closed the gap between their bodies, and trailed a hand along his chest, making sure to avoid his gem. If he wanted to play then that was fine with her. Time she played along. She leaned in, making their noses touch. Her voice was low, soft, but a growl lingered in her words. âI wouldnât mind that~. Do you have any suggestions? Because I was hoping to...â Her voice trailed off, and she found her hands in his hair. Her smirk grew more devilish, â...get a good nap in. Honestly, you looked exhausted during, so I would think youâd be tired after the meeting~.â
He froze for a moment. She released herself from his bind and hummed to herself. What the hell just happened? Did she just...? He wasnât completely shocked, but the retaliation threw him for a loop. She took some clothes from the closet and walked with pride into the bathroom. âIâll be in here for a bit if you need me~.â She closed the door. He blinked a few times. Even though he was a little bit shocked, he wasnât really complaining. She can be quite the flirt. He chuckled to himself, âWhere has that been all this time?â
~
Hours passed. Earlier in the day, Alexa had finished her bath, and Vincent agreed to a well-deserved nap. Alexa woke up naturally. She checked the time and noticed that it was 30 minutes before the gala. She yelped and shook Vincent. âWake up! Wake up! We have 30 minutes!â He groaned and turned to his side. She groaned and wiggled herself out of his coils. She shook him more, âVince! Wake up! You said you wanted to come along, so a part of coming along is not being late!â She threw open the closet doors and threw his attire onto the bed. He groaned as he pushed himself up, âAlright alright Iâm up. Try not to be so loud next time...â She nodded and grabbed her own things and hurried into the bathroom.
It didnât take long for him to change. The jacket and shirt fit him quite well, besides the spines trying their hardest to poke through. But now he was waiting on Alexa. He checked the time, then knocked on the door, âAlexa, we have eight minutes. If you want to be early we should-â The door opened to reveal a well dressed Alexa. She wore a black evening dress with amethyst accessories, and her hair in a more stylized low ponytail. He smiled, âHmm. You look astonishing~.â
âThank you. You look mesmerizing~.â She smiled.
   He scoffed, ââMesmerizingâ?â
âWell I could say handsome but you already know that, and women, along with myself, canât help but stare at you.â She giggled. âCome on. I donât want to hear people talk about me being late.â He chuckled and followed her out the door. But before they descended the stairs, he stopped her. She raised a brow, âWhatâs up?â He didnât say anything, only pulling her close and twirled a strand of her hair. He did this as he used his other hand to remove the hair tie. Alexa noticed when she could feel her hair fall across her back and shoulders. He spun the hair tie around his finger and continued down the steps. âI think you should let it down for tonight~.â
Her face grew red. She pushed some of her hair back as she followed him. âHeh. You couldâve just said that.â Who was she kidding? She would rather have the moment they just shared. But she wasnât going to let him know that.
~
When they arrived at the castle, they could see excited people walking up the steps. When stepping out of the carriage, Vincent gave her his arm and a smile. âShall we, your majesty?â
She snickered, âYes, we shall.â She hooked her arm around his and they headed through the gate and up the steps. They walked through the endless halls once more before arriving to an open room where the rest of the guests resided. It was lively in the ballroom, and there were royals as far as the eye could see. The announcer at the entrance tapped Alexaâs shoulder and cleared his throat. âYour names, your highnesses?â
Alexa chuckled nervously, âOh! Well Iâm Queen Alexa Vandus. This man here is just a friend of mine.â
âI just go by Vincent sir.â He chuckled. The announcer nodded and stood back to the side. âAnnouncing her majesty, Queen Alexa Vandus, and her escort Vincent.â Most turned to see, but some didnât bother to look. Vincent leaned down to Alexa, âI do fit in with the crowd though~.â She giggled. Upon looking around, she huffed. âAlright, here comes the boring part.â
âReally? How can you possibly make a gala boring?â He raised a brow.
âWell, the galas arenât just for talking to people and having a fun night. Not usually anyway. Most of the time theyâre used for mingling with royals about trading, land, and other things.â
   â...so itâs just a glorified meeting...?â
She blinked, â...yeah. Never really thought about it that way.â He groaned and she chuckled. âWe can try and spice it up, but I do need to speak to some people about some things.â She heard her name being called from across the room. She gave his shoulder a few pats before leaving and waving. âTry talking to some people. Mingle while I take care of some things. Save me a dance.â She winked. He huffed as he watched her walk away and join a group of people. This was supposed to be a second date, not another meeting. Gods knew that he did not want to go through that again. That would mean standing next to her was not the best option. Not if he wanted to hear more business or racist remarks. He decided to wander the floor and greet people. He even managed to strike up conversations with some of the guests.
~
Vincent waved to the last person he wanted to talk to, and quickly headed over to Alexa. When walking up, he noticed that she was speaking to a man, and he hand given her his hand. â...only if you want to dance that is.â She was about to answer when she noticed Vincent. She chuckled nervously, âIâm so sorry, but he did promise me a dance. Maybe in a little bit?â
âNo no itâs alright your majesty. Hope you have fun.â
She smiled, âThank you.â When the man left, Vincent gave his her his hand. âMay I have this dance, your highness?â
âPfft, of course.â She rolled her eyes. He led her to the dance floor and they glided across the floor. Alexa grew lost in his eyes, and the same could be said for Vincent. She wasnât lying about him being mesmerizing. The world had faded the duration of the dance. It felt like they were the only ones on the dance floor. He leaned in close, â...have you grown bored yet?â
She laughed, âWhat? A little, yeah. Why?â
He spun her and dipped her. âWhenever you feel like you canât stand the business talk anymore, let me know. We can ditch this place in a heartbeat~.â
She sighed and smiled. âEven if I wanted to, I canât. Weâve only been here for an hour, and I try to make myself present for an hour and a half, maybe two hours.â
He brought her back up and sighed. âOkay. But the offer still stands~.â The song ended and they left the floor. Vincent followed Alexa for a few minutes and listened in on the affairs of the royals she spoke to. Alexa did become increasingly bored as time passed. Only ten minutes went by before she could take all she could take for the night. Vincent was about to leave for the hors d'oeuvre table when she grabbed his hand before he could leave. He raised a brow at this, but stayed until she was finished talking. After a minute went by, the person she was talking to waved and walked away. Alexa smiled, and as soon as they were out of sight her smile fell. She looked up at him, âYou said we should ditch this place?â He snickered and led her towards the door.
