My little one (Violet, naturally) gets a new violet every year for her birthday. In between, I save a few leaves when I trim them, and propagate the plants simply by rooting the leaves in potting soil. The first picture shows that our latest clone is a success, with a few baby leaves popping up. The second picture is our previous clone, now thriving quite well!
