This adorable svt clip just made me rethink what tae called jk in that vminkook live. Didn't he call him something very similar to what hoshi is calling minghao here? "Jasiga"? I don't think tae called him "jagiya". I re-watched it and it doesn't sound like jagiya tbh, sounds more like jasiga 😬

He does indeed.

His "oops" reaction makes you think he said jagiya and there have been times when I think he's said jagiya (please see my username) but I put it down to confirmation bias in that case. I think it's probably jasiga. In mine and many other people's defences, to my untrained ear, his pronunciation of the jaeum S and G are much less hard than I've ever heard it. It's almost like he's saying jazj-i-hya. But he's tired, he's soft spoken anyway, it's falling on the side of jasiga.

Ultimately whatever he said, they then proceeded to make out via eye contact for seven unblinking seconds so... I don't think it makes a difference 😂

Interesting side note though! I hear yeobo a lot in k-dramas and in reality shows, etc, but I can think of at least two videos where Tae uses jagiya. I think he calls Hobi jagiya when he's pretending to flirt and he calls Wooshik jagiya when they're pretending to be married in ITS: Friendcation.
