Sinners, Winners, and all you caught in between, thanks for tuning in to today's broadcast! We've had a few late breaking developments that have rocked Heaven and Hell that could affect you and your families. However! As ever, VoxTek™ remains committed to bringing you the latest juicy machinations of those being devilish and divine to keep you informed! And on your knees.

First off! It seems Heaven has decided to reclaim one of their rejects as Sera personally came down to Hell to grab Ass, the former Exorcist who's murdered thousands of Sinners! Apparently, the Stubborn Seraph is none-too-pleased with a Fallen Angel sneaking back up to Heaven for a bit of, hold on here, lemme check my notes... cuddling! Yes, folks, that's the big Sin on Heaven's shit list nowadays! Which is why you should stick it to them- and where the sun don't shine- by purchasing from our new line of VoxTek™ Super Glide Lube, from the beloved- and now, happily, defunct- Love Potion series (all rights reserved VokTek™ as of last week).

Next, things have heated up as Lee, everyone's favorite double timing double agent double crossed yet another former consort, opting to cut all ties with Adina, the Venomous Vixen of the Seraphim! With some strong words that she surely won't regret, Lee has returned to Hell one bitch lighter and one terribly Doomsday Prophesy heavier, as two more of Heaven's Rejects are about to visit a whole Ring's worth of pain onto Adina if she fails to provide the information they require- and maybe even then, I'm just sayin'.

Oh, and this just in- it seems Sera, the Beautiful Bitch that she is, has created a whole new breed of angel as a possible replacement for the Exorcists. Sporting gold on white and a big fuck-off sword, this model's name is Shamira, and she's not the chatty sort! Great! Just what she needs- more Murder Angels to order around! Did I already mention the part where Heaven might be retaliating against Hell because someone misplaced a certain jackAss?

As things continue to be very interesting in Heaven, Hell's experiencing a surge of activity as well! Vaggie, the poor bitch, is trying to figure out how to broach a sensitive subject with her girlfriend- the Scary As Fuck When Pissed Charlie Morningstar, so good luck on that one! Meanwhile, the various Overlords are deciding if they're going to throw their weight behind a defense of Hell or hide like the cowards they've always been! But don't let the fear of pissweak Overlords get you down, folks, not when you can order VoxBot 3.5, a new and improved home version of my personal security detail. These bad boys are now equipped with angelic steel propeller blades and have the same lack of self preservation as the rest of you sorry bastards! “Vox…tek? I dunno what that is. The experience was, ah haha, a real shocker.” Slowly sitting up, Lucid winced at the lingering pain. Nothing he couldn’t bounce back from with ease, however the fact he was assaulted at all had shaken him. The seraphim stared at the extended hand a moment, this time emotionally and mentally shocked that the imp was helping him. With a smile of gratitude, he took the hand and got to his feet.

“I’m okay. A little achy and frazzled, but nothing long lasting. Th-thank you for helping me, friend.” Tilting his head slightly, Lucid smiled brightly at the imp. “Yeah, I was out minding my own business when those…voxbots or whatever attacked me. I-I don’t think I did anything wrong? I was in a whole different form at the time! I guess it saw through my disguise.” Chuckling nervously, Lucid then extended his hand in greeting.

“Lucid Eveningstar, Angel of Dreams. Might I know who you are?”

Moxxie squinted. He was considering going for help. But then the angelic being spoke to him.

He cast an eye back to the broken robots and spoke, "No... I've never seen those before. They look like Voxtek of some sort. They're all over the city... Are you okay?"

He knelt down and offered a hand. There was a chance the stranger might mean him harm, sure. But not offering help to a stranger who had just been attacked felt... smarmy? He wasn't sure why. He couldn't just step over the man and move on with his day. He could at least aid him to his feet.

"Were you attacked?"

While there was a chance that this was just a sinner with an unusual appearance, this looked like an angelic visitor who had run afoul some of Hell's tech. Typically Moxxie would be one of the ones to tell the usual angelic visitors to fuck off. They only visited to bully hellions. But so far this stranger hadn't done any bullying.

This weekend I came home to relax after a hellish week and to be with family for the holidays. Today I didn't have much to do so I spent the time upgrading my home server, and this is what the old parts are as well as the new parts.

Above is my old GT 530, an Old Nvidia card from May 2011. I got this from a friend on the Nintendo Homebrew Discord when I was first beginning to build my first PC. This thing ran hot and loud because of its cooler design. It was extremely power inefficient, but does not have any external power plugs like most modern GPUs do. It is no longer in the server, as the server now has an integrated graphics processor from the new CPU. It has only 1GB of GDDR3, practically nothing compared to what modern GPU's have, but I only used it for the required display output (otherwise the server would not boot).

Above is the old CPU and motherboard (mobo). It's an MSI Z170A Gaming M3, it came bundled with the DEEP COOL CPU cooler for free off eBay back in 2019. The CPU itself is an Intel i7-6700, which a family member gave to me, having 4 cores 8 threads, 3.4 GHz, and 8 MB of cache. There was originallcy an old Intel Celeron in it, don't remember what though. The top PCIe 16x slot is broken off, I plan to attempt to remove the solder and pins on it, install a new PCIe bracket, and give the hardware to someone who needs it more than me rather than just throw it away.

Here is the mess of cables that is front half of the server. I 3D printed an open air bed for the motherboard back when I first built the machine. On the other side is the power supply, hard drive slots, and a network switch. There is currently only a 256GB NVME for the Ubuntu Server image, 6TB HDD for mass storage (two partitions, redundant) and a 1TB SSD (not in use) connected. This is what VodBot writes to, to archive VODs and Clips. I plan to get a bigger HDD and run ZFS on it with the 1TB SSD used as a caching layer. There is a fan to cool the drive, as spinning plates of iron can get hot. There is also a Raspberry Pi 4 2GB which acts as a PiKVM to interface with the server in case the network interface on the server breaks (which happens a lot more than it should). It uses a cheap $15 HDMI-USB capture card to allow me to see the main terminal remotely. The power supply (a cheap, old EVGA 500W 80+ PSU) also had some work done to it to provide a 2.1mm power jack for the 3.3V and 5V rails.

New specs of the new parts are as follows. CPU is a Ryzen 7 5700G, which is an AMD CPU + integrated Radeon GPU, 8 cores 16 threads, 3.8 GHz and 16 MB of cache (and a butt load of instructions per clock cycle improvements). Cooler is just the AMD Wraith Stealth. Mobo is a Gigabyte B450 Gaming X, my old board before I upgraded to X570. Ram is 4x8GB (total 32GB), running at 3200 MHz CL16, some variant of Ripjaws brand. You can easily see the PiKVM is connected to the board's power and reset switch pins, along with the LED pins.
