          “nnnnnnow then, mister charbull...” the doctor adjusts his glasses as he reads over the dossier presented to him on the holoscreens at his front. he scans along the endless words and the demerits he chose to ignore, looking to see if there’s  a n y t h i n g  he can find to strike up a conversation. basic diagnostics require banality, after all.

     his company is sat on a table in the doctor’s own office, suited in casual clothing aside from the small headset weller placed on his crown. it’s meant to track brain waves, watch for anomalies just to be safe. it’s a necessity after the sinclair incident.

          “...your file says you’re from texas!” he finally decides. “you know, until now, i’ve never even been to the united states; what’s it like down there? never got the pleasure of experiencing it as a tourist you know.”
