Finals week was coming up. The past two days have consisted of the following three things; making flash cards/study guides, studying, and stressing out about not being prepared enough. My life has just been a constant loop of hand cramps, headaches, and stress. My friends have told me that I tend to immerse myself into unhealthy habits when I get stressed out about exams or school in general. All I know is I need to pass these exams to get good grades and to be able to graduate so I can get a steady job and income to support myself. If I don’t see my friends or boyfriend for a few days while I study, or if I have a few sleepless nights, it won’t be the end of the world as long as I get everything done and pass these exams.

I know I have a ton of missed calls and messages from my friends and my boyfriend worrying about me, but I ignore them as I continue reviewing some chapter notes. Now that I think about it, the last time I even checked my phone was to check the time-- which was around 4 a.m., and it’s light out now, so I’m guessing I studied through the night again.

I throw my hair up into a messy bun and then rub at my eye that begins to twitch. I go to take a sip of my [fourth] coffee when I hear keys jingling in my door. I take a quick peek at the opening door to find my boyfriend Wade walking in. I give him a quick close lipped smile while mumbling out a barely coherent, “Hey,” and then bring my attention back to my study notes.

I hear a faint “Jesus a/n,” come from Wade before he disappears out of my peripheral vision.

A few minutes have passed of complete silence, so I look up in search of where my boyfriend went.

“Wade?” I called out.

“Yeah. I’m in the kitchen.” He responds back.

I find my coffee mug almost empty, so I decide to head into the kitchen to get a refill and see what Wade is up to.

I stop dead in my tracks and my heart bursts with love at the sight in front of me. Wade is standing in front of the kitchen island holding a beautiful bouquet of flowers in his hand and my favorite takeout all laid out on the counter next to him. He gives me a cheesy little grin that makes my heart soar even more.

“What’s all this for?” I beamed.

I see his cheeks turn the lightest shade of pink as a blush forms as he scratches the base of his neck. “Uh,” He stutters out before clearing his throat and continuing with much more conviction now, “You’ve been working really hard these past few days with your finals upcoming. And I know sometimes you can push yourself a little too hard and not even realize it… So I figured I would come over and try to take your mind off of everything for a little while.” His blush returns once more when he goes to add, “Oh.. and these flowers reminded me of you so I got them.. For you.”

Tears start to spring into the corners of my eyes at the thoughtfulness of this incredible man standing in front of me that I get to call my boyfriend.

He grows alarmed when he sees my tears and stammers out, “Oh, oh no don’t cry! Did I offend you? Do you not like the flowers?”

I let out a teary chuckle before responding, “No, these are happy tears.” I make my way over to him and immediately bring him into my arms. “And, I love the flowers. You don’t understand how much I needed this.”

I lift my head off of his chest and stare up into his eyes. I go on my tippy toes and pucker my lips to let him know what want. He responds by meeting my lips halfway into a short and sweet kiss. “Thank you,” I murmured. Another kiss. “I love you.”

He gives me one last kiss on my forehead before replying back, “I love you too.” He pulls away and gently nudges me toward the doorway.

“Alright, now go take a shower before you give Oscar the Grouch a run for his money.” He teases.

I playfully scoff before making my way out of the kitchen. I stop in the doorway and look back at Wade batting my eyelashes at him and ask, “Are you joining me?”

He grins back, “Oh, say less.”

Oooo wade Allison being your wedding date to a friend's wedding and slow dancing and him saying random things at your wedding

“Wade,” you ask almost accusingly, peering over the boy’s shoulder, “are you checking baseball scores again when we could, no, should be out there dancing?”

The red haired boy looks up sheepishly, shrugging a little, “I mean, I can’t exactly say no because you already saw the screen.”

“Please come dance with me,” you ask, pouting a little. The puppy dog look works probably 80% of the time with Wade and today you were in luck.

He stands up and pockets his phone, stretching a little from his previously hunched position. Before he can say a word you grab his hand and pull him towards the dance floor area. Just as you step on to it, the song changes and slows down which you’re perfectly happy with.

“It’s like you knew,” he jokingly accuses, squinting at you, but smiling.

You laugh and pull him close, saying, “I had no idea this would happen but I’m very okay with it.”

Wade presses a kiss to the side of your head, rocking you both around the small area. He hums the song a little under his breath and you close your eyes to soak in the moment with him.

“Hey, do you have to do a color theme with weddings?” He asks softly.

You look up at him, amused with his inquiry, “I don’t think you have to, no. Most people do though. Why?”

“I don’t know that I like it,” he scrunches his nose, “I don’t think we’ll need one at our wedding.”

Your heart hammers a little faster and you bite your lip. Wade had never mentioned a wedding in the year and a half you’d been dating him, but now you were practically tripping over yourself to ask his opinion on things you knew you’d thought of for that day.

“Flowers are important to have,” you toss out, looking up at him for a response.

He nods immediately, “yeah of course they are. I’m sure you’ll pick those out though, right?”

You smile even bigger now, saying, “I sure will. You think you want a bow tie or a regular tie?”

“Regular,” he deadpans, stopping that idea you’d had rolling in your head, “unless you really want the bow tie.”

The frown on his face says he’d rather not, but your heart is happy to hear he’ll do it anyways for you. You shrug, no longer caring either way. You discuss cities to have the wedding in, what color suit he might want to wear, and what time of year is best.

You certainly didn’t expect to talk all this through with him when you brought him but you’re on cloud nine as he helps keep the conversation going. You both manage to conveniently ignore the fact the slow song is long passed and continue to stay wrapped up in each other for who knows how long.

“Thank you for coming with me to this,” you say softly, leaning up to kiss him.

He kisses you gently, barely pulling back, “anything you ask, pretty girl. Maybe the next one we go to will be our own.”

You grab ahold of his hand and pull him out into the snowy, frigid weather. Wrapping his arms around your waist he pulls you close and spins you both around in the middle of the snow covered sidewalk.

He watches as your head tilts back in laughter, he sees flakes of snow fall straight into your face and hopes this was a moment he could remember forever.

He wants to revel in this, wishing that he could keep this memory tucked away in his pocket to look back on when he has rough days. Both you and Wade come to a slow swaying motion back and forth, without hesitation you bring your lips to his in a soft kiss.

Oh my gosh this might be the most difficult one I’ve had yet i love it 💕💕💕

Allison doesn’t particularly want to be a temple-watcher. She’d rather work in engineering, but when you come from the Blake family, it’s all about the temples! On her eighteenth birthday, she’s assigned to the watch of a small temple in the middle of nowhere, until she noticed strange markings on its walls- markings that look like scars on flesh. 

With the help of wanna-be thief Wade, Allison investigates the temple despite orders from the High Priest. As she and Wade uncover the secrets of the Temples, she begins to understand the value of keeping things secret- especially when Allison has a few scars of her own, scars Wade and his flamingo pet seem determined to uncover.

Not taking anymore for now, but I’ll probably do more of these later! This has been fun =D

morgan and joel were standing off the side, watching wade spin you around exaggeratedly on the dance floor. it was clear the only reason he was turning you was to make you laugh because the music playing wasn't nearly as funny as the smile on your face and didn't call for spinning.

"we did good, didn't we? they're good for each other." morgan nudged joel.

"good? we did great. they're perfect for each other!"

you were friends with morgan and joel before you knew wade. they had been the ones to introduce you and wade to each other after realizing how perfect you were for each other.

"they are perfect."

you and wade watched joel and morgan talking to each other and occasionally glancing up at you, "what do you think they're talking about?" you asked.

"who cares?" wade spun you away from them so you couldn't look at them.

"probably us." you ignored him, "they think they're cupid's protegees or something."

"do they?"

"whenever we get brunch, it's all they talk about. how perfect we are together and everything."

but because you were typing away, you turned the corner and totally missed wade turning the corner as well, "whoa." you gasped, almost falling if it weren't for him catching you.

"you good?"

"yeah." you smiled.

he smiled but it fell when he noticed what you were wearing, "that's mine. i've been looking for my hoodie-"

"my hoodie, you mean." you corrected.

"he told me like two years ago, but i forget everything." you sighed, taking a step back so wade could try.

he pressed a couple of buttons but nothing happened. he took a step back and you both looked at the camera, "is there like an instruction manual or something?"

"i think so, but i don't know where it is." you ran a hand through your hair, "you know what? we have another camera. one i actually know how to use."

"why aren't you using that one?"

"because he was here before you. you're the first guy we're interviewing after our break." you pulled the other camera out of the closet and set it up.

you instructed him on how he could help then sat him back down, "ta-da!" you gave him jazz hands.

"look at you." he smirked, "now, let's get back to the task at hand. i want to go home and eat the leftovers in the fridge."

"the leftovers? who are you and what have you done to wade allison?"

"the evil hungry robot who took over wade's body." he joked, making you laugh.

"you weirdo, come on, let's get this over with so we can go home." you held a mirror up so he could fix his appearance if he wanted to.

"right, right." he fixed his hair before he gave you a thumbs up. you took a step back and pressed a button on the camera, and the red light came on, "i just want to say i don't think either of us are qualified for this but sure, go for it."

"okay, thanks for that." you rolled your eyes, "i have to cut that out, but for the record, i'm very good at my job, thank you very much."

"i know, i'm teasing." he blew you a dramatic kiss.

"whatever, jerk." you looked down at your notepad, "first question..."

tw: a cold

after a roadie, you and wade had one rule. the day after he got back, you would spend the day together and would do anything you wanted.

unfortunately, you caught a cold so you couldn't do much except lay in bed and wallow. wade knew you were sick and was upset that he couldn't be there to take care of you.

so he made sure your friends and some of the other girls checked in on your occasionally. it was a sweet gesture to tide you over until he was there to be there for you.

"i'm here, i'm here." wade rushed through your apartment and straight to the bedroom where you were laying in the dark. the only source of light coming from the fairy lights you made him hang when you first moved in, "you feeling anything better?"

"a little." you responded in a raspy voice.

"did you have some soup?"

you hummed, "i think gretchen brought it over."

"that's good." he caressed your forehead, checking your temperature, "well, you don't have a fever, so that's good."

"went away a couple days ago," you informed him.

"that's good," he repeated, sounding worried and slightly out of breath.

"i'm okay, wade. i feel better than i did like three days ago."

"i'm glad." he sighed, "now, what do you want to do?"

"mario kart." you smirked.

he groaned. it was no secret wade wasn't very good at mario kart, but he played for you. so, he got it set up for you, all the while you watched and listened to him inform you of all the new information you had missed in the 8 hours you weren't on the phone with him.

"all right, here you go, milady." he handed you your designated console and then got comfortable in bed next to you.

almost an hour later, you were still playing mario kart. wade was competitive, even if he wasn't very good at the game. so every time he lost, he wanted to keep playing.

"this is unfair," he complained.

"i can't help the fact that you're terrible at mario kart." you shrugged.

"again!" he demanded.

"wade, we've been here for like an hour. don't you want to. do something else?"

"like what?" he asked cluelessly.

"i don't know, change?" you suggested. he looked down at his clothes and realized he was still in the clothes he had been wearing on the plane.

"right." he pushed himself off the bed and quickly changed into confirmer clothes.

when he got back, you had turned off mario kart and turned on a movie, "my brain hurts. let's do something with a little less thinking."

he smiled, climbing back into bed and wrapping his arms around you when you cuddled into him, "i missed you." you told him.

"missed you, too." he sounded calm and comfortable, "who brought the chicken dip?"

"it's good, isn't it?"

"so good." he nodded.

"i thik alexa did."

"well, next time we see her or sanny, we're asking for the recipe."

"of, for sure." you nodded.
