Can't get over how much 1000-THR "Earthmover" had impacted me in such an insanely powerful way.

Like.

It's the kind of thing that one might not even notice while playing or after. But it's there. It's hard to describe but like. It's so thematically perfect. I love it so much. and in terms of gameplay it's perfect as well.

It's so fucking shocking how like. Yes. Technically speaking, 1000-THR "Earthmover" could very well be one of my favorite video game bosses ever. The kind of shit that just hits so hard and has so much hard hitting presentation and just. God.

THE MUSIC AS WELL!!!!! "WAR WITHOUT REASON" IS ONE OF THE BEST TRACKS I'VE EVER HEARD IN ANY GAME EVER, HELL, ONE OF MY FAVORITE PIECES OF MUSIC, EVER, AND THE WAY THE GAME USES IT?????

THE WAY ULTRAKILL HAS SUCH A DEEP UNDERSTANDING AND CARE FOR MUSIC AND THE EMOTIONAL AND THEMATIC EFFECT OF IT AND JUST. GOD.

ok so i was watching a vod of kwite’s “play”through (iykyk bc idc to explain the quotation marks) of pressure , and when the song search party played . holy war without reason this is fire

during the first percussion part i was thinking “this is giving ultrakill (like a lot)” and “i heard someone saying (some of ?) the ost is inspired by ultrakill but idk how verifiable/factually true that is” and Then the piano part played . and the amount of whiplash (… ha) i got because oh my lord its even got the filtered percussion and everything . yeah no LMAOO lets just say there’s zero doubt in my mind that this was inspired by ultrakill now
