Plot update!! The Journey continues in Arc III: Splitting Hairs.

After spending so much time together, the clans were restless... and Starclan has begun to show their true colors. “If Starclan even cared about us at all in this whole process, we would not have stayed here this long.”

Bumblestar, Hollowclan leader, expresses distaste for their situation... yet, she is the only leader who has received a sign from Starclan: water tainted by salt. She confided this to Emberstar, but Emberstar only makes matters worse with Starclan.

“...Rowanclan will continue to grow in strength without a deputy.”

Emberstar announces she will not be appointing a deputy, immediately causing an uproar. She then announces that Bumblestar has communicated with Starclan which direction to go next, and the two team up.

"She and Bumblestar are just going to lead us through rogue and kittypet central, and I'm supposed to be okay with that? We’re supposed to be okay with this?!"

Without any complaints from Copperstar, Sootclan's new deputy, Stagmist, steps up to the podium in defense. Due to their ties with Starclan, it was offensive to hear that Emberstar was making a decision without their aid.

“We’re staying together. It makes the most sense, and going alone is a major threat to your clan’s safety.”

Dreamstar steps in, not wanting the rest of Sootclan to disappear just like the patrol they sent to the mountainsides. Her care for the other leaders and clans unfortunately put her at odds with Emberstar and Bumblestar, deciding her clan would go northeast with Sootclan.

A chasm now split the leaders in half: Emberstar and Bumblestar standing together; Dreamstar, Copperstar, and Stagmist standing opposed.

The clans asked for a sign from Starclan, and they certainly got one. Starclan had made the decision to split up for them: Fogclan and Sootclan would go to the large mountain range, while Hollowclan and Rowanclan would continue to the abandoned twolegplace. They decided to meet up once more in a moon with results --- hopefully those results would be a suitable new home, for their own good.

The clans continue to wander without guidance. Who will find Starclan's favor, and who will not? Find out in ARC III of THE JOURNEY: SPLITTING HAIRS.

Hello everyone! It's been a bit since our last update, hasn't it? WCFC's mods have been hard at work behind the scenes to improve the roleplay experience. Today, I'm proud to bring you our own website, complete with lore, high ranks, and more to explore! We hope you take a look and consider us as a new server you can call home.~

It looks like our high roles are finally filled up! But we have MANY NPCs available for the taking and room for new OCs. We have closed apprentice applications (Unless you are adopting an NPC apprentice!) due to how many we have! We hardly have enough mentors to cover them -- they are in high demand.

After the last gathering, Copperear was able to visit the Moonstone and appoint Sootclan's deputy, Snakepelt. Unfortunately, the medicine cat apprentice, Mothpaw had disappeared, leaving without a word. And after word of Starclan's abandonment, no cat could blame them. In their place, a determined warrior and her apprentice, Duskbreeze and Perchpaw, had valianted decided to step up to the role. Copperstar had been nearly been flung apart by a monster on his way back from Highstones, already losing a life. And he had been acting differently, yes, afterwards.

Munchkin cat Honeypaw, was selected by the Fogclan leader to be a medicine cat apprentice. And even more surprising the embittered medicine cat, Azurefeather, sees promise in this young cat.

Rogues, loners, and even kittypets are stirring up trouble outside of the clans. The medicine cats are recieving contradictory messages from the beyond, anixiety filling the forest. Kits live free from fear, with danger only whisker-widths away. Soon, change will come. And a certain medicine cat fears that the new clans' fire for taking land and driving out outsiders will consume them all.

Will the clans be able to stand their ground in the forest? Or is exodus upon them?

The Leaders of the New Clans:

After the Great Clan Wars, four leaders emerged from the ashes of the old.

From the elite of Riverclan rises Fogclan. Their strong leader is the oldest leader out of the forest territories. Dreamstar is a wise but weary calico she-cat. Her past is complex and not exactly within the warrior code.

From the diplomats of Thunderclan rose Hollowclan. Their leader is a graceful she-cat with a pelt to match the forest floor. Her scars leave a story to tell. Bumblestar, formerly Bumblesnap, is a she-cat not about to let others tell her how to run her clan.

From the resourceful and prideful of Shadowclan, Rowanclan remained. Former deputy and main strategist during the Great Clan Wars, Emberstar, formerly Emberstrike, leads Rowanclan. This giant molly is no diplomat and will not hesitate to speak her mind. Her intense desire to be a strong leader may hide something more incriminating. 

From the strongest of Windclan remained Sootclan: the most excellent of climbers and fierce swimmers. The youngest leader of them all is Moonstar, a calico tom with a heart of gold. He is young, but loyal to the end of the line and shows great promise. Despite this, he knows he isn’t completely innocent.

What high ranks are open rn?

Hi, thank you for asking! The leader spot for Sootclan and Hollowclan are open, as well as Deputies for Rowanclan, Fogclan, and Hollowclan. As for medicine cats and med apprentices, Sootclan and Fogclan need both! Rowanclan is still looking for a medicine cat apprentice, and Hollowclan needs a medicine cat to train their apprentice, Aspenpaw.

In case you were curious, the leader of Fogclan is Dreamstar, a kind but experienced calico she-cat. As for Rowanclan, their leader is Emberstar — a hulking, proud tortoiseshell she-cat. We’re looking forward to seeing more characters!

Darkening Times:

Moonstar's disappearance has left Sootclan in disarray. Copperear, his former deputy, rises to leadership, and needs to find his own deputy soon, and fast.

Kestralcry, the medicine cat of Sootclan passes away, leaving our Mothpaw, her apprentice, to learn on his own. He awaits a new medicine cat - but will it be too late? The other medicine cats, Azurefeather and Rainmist, may need to step in...

Fogclan's deputy steps down. Quailfeather, deputy of Hollowclan, is hit by a monster. The only good news that seems to be around is Rowanclan's new land... land that may or may not be dangerous.
