Do you have any funny dnd facts?

I've actually never played a real dnd campaign!! I showed up to a friend's session once or twice and played a character named Brock. He was a tiny little rock gnome (genuinely around 2 1/2 feet tall) who had no magic whatsoever and I loved him so much. There was a part where we were fighting to save a hostage in a cave and to finish off the bad guy I slid in between his legs and chopped his dick off to knock him unconscious LMAO

I still don't understand much about dnd at all which is why i sadly dont have any facts, I've only learned the mechanics and storytelling aspects from JRWI but I want to run my own campaign one day!!! Once I finish riptide I'm planning on watching Blood in the Bayou or Apotheosis in full to understand a shorter running version of a campaign and look through a ton of first time dm guides :DD

This update is so!!!!!!!! It's SO COOL!!!! Clown, the voice actors, animators, artists did SO amazingly its awesome like!!!!! This update is so so so cool!

Ive repeated myself a lot but:

ITS SO COOL!!!!!

all the stuff with eddie!!!!! Him being absent being cut off from the wishlist was so cool! I didn't even notice it at first till some people pointed it out!! But the whole sequence of mix of animated ads real sets/props and PUPPETS!!! it's SO well made the animations was so cute!!! And the whole sequence with Eddie was so freaky!!! Houses eyes made me genuinely uncomfortable to where I had to look away from the screen!! It was so well made and so cool!!! Like HUGE props to the animators and artists cause omg

Also as I reblpgged and someone pointed out the aggression in the commercial from the website is so interesting! I didn't really grasp it while watching but I did have a reaction to Eddie getting so mad!! Ot caught me off guard since he's proreyed as being anxious but going w the flow really so!!! it was so cool and well made !!!!!

And the !!!! Frank seemingly breaking character??? It was so good it caught me so off guard!!! I also wonder if it connects to his song at all? Because it's a song about being forced to let things go? But idk

All the voice actors did so well too!!! Like the songs recorded and book were so fun to listen to!! Like I genuinely want to listen to them again!! They're so much fun and so cute!!

I'm talking alot but all in all this update was amazing!! I can't wait to see if there's more we missed since it just came out but!!!! im excited!!!

I have been ruminating over the world of ena for apparently long enough that it no longer feels absurd to me. It just makes sense (tm) now. Sure, I still have a lot of questions, but not because I have no idea what is going on, you know?

I feel like I may not be the right person to validate you one way or the other because i have quite literally become "Guy who has a really normal and average perspective on things: Guys the ena series literally isn't even that weird" But i agree with you. uhg. I ran out of tags. but like what i mentioned in the last post is something that happens in our system a TON. like Certain "lier" alters will target (usually young) alters who are more trusted in the system and try to get them to believe lies. Usually things about them selves that make the seem like they have special knowledge or are "larger" than the system. I'm sure sometimes this comes from a place of genuine delusion from the Delusional Disorder but other times I don't think it is.

This Sailor Moon thing with Sal I feel like illustrates it really well. They'll usually guess about some information (the ending of sailor moon) that the target alter (me but I'm awesome :3) is interested in. They're pretty good at this usually like, they establish what you know, find some common ground and then claim that they have some sort of special knowledge, but that you have to help them 'figure it out' or 'unlock it'. Then they just kinda make you do their bidding. They also usually want you to spread the info around. I think the goal is to try and like "take over" the system evil dictator style.

These lies seem, for the most part, separate from the delusions?

A really common one they'll go for is trying to convince another alter that they know another language. I think that one is usually delusion based and it always falls apart pretty quickly lol.

Usually these lier alters are next to impossible to deal with and we try and keep them as far away from us as possible. The exceptions being Becca, Truck, Sal/Friday, and Beck.

I find this issue really hard to articulate and this is the first time I've actually gotten it down really. so that's fun!
