Their belonging to the Web is a symbolic attachment, albeit a very strong one; by rights they should belong with the Hive. Cases where no themes of control or manipulation are present and spiders are only scary by virtue of being creepy crawlies feed the Corruption at least as much as the Web. Hey I made this post a month ago this is kind of a sequel

So my mum is cleaning the kitchen

and jar of spiders

she has a jar of spiders

because she doesn't want them to get in the way and accidentally get hurt and yes she will be releasing them back into the house once she is done because they're very useful for eating the other pests and bugs and flying things

(also because the spiders will die outside it is freezing)

while I was taking pictures of the jar of I literally heard her say "I think there's something living in these holes"

no idea if you’ve seen my previous ask, you likely haven’t, but the spiders in my beverages have upgraded from simply being constructions of the mind to actual physical bugs in my coffee. How did this happen? Why did this happen? i was down to the bottom of the cup before i saw the spider. How many more of them were in there??? Will i ever drink another beverage without this looming dread of Something In My Fucking Beverage???
