You used the term sapphic for one of your asks today and I was wondering if you could tell me what sapphic means? I had never heard the term before today

i’m pretty sure it has two meanings

1. if you are a non-man and identify as bi/lesbian/pan, then this term can be applied to you

2. it is an umbrella term for people who might not want to label themselves as bi/pan/lesbian or don’t know which label to use etc etc. and as an umbrella term it pretty much means you’re a non-man who likes other non-men

for example, for definition 1, robin buckley could be described as sapphic because she is a lesbian

for definition 2, i cant think of any canon examples rn, but in the post you’re referring to i meant max would not identify specifically as bi/pan/lesbian, therefore this definition would apply to her.

i hope this was worded right and that i was of any help :))
