Resubmitting him because I have now read the book. And oh boy. He is not allo. He spends the whole book being confused about love and romance, and why that, specifically, would be such a huge motivator for people. He has no interest in it besides how it affects someone else and causes them problems. He falls in love by the end but he still doesn't understand how love works for other people at all

The beginning part of the story is just him trying to understand what romance is and why a novel is saying he was in love with Baili Qingmiao.

Interprets “love is always seeing the other person” as “I should force Baili Qingmiao to be able to physically see this boy at all times”

He eventually becomes stupidly in love with Yin Hanjiang, but it’s a Journey. He clearly does not experience/understand romantic and sexual attraction until then (and even then I’m not sure lol)

I'm so happy, I've wanted to get this into print since I finished reading it. The gold spots on the cover are metallic and shiny~

It's done in legal quarto, so almost the same size as a paperback, and it fits so nicely in my pocket. I will absolutely be revisiting this one though, because I have Ideas on how to make it even better

Yin Hanjiang and Wenren È are one of the few OTP's I have where I love them pretty equally. Usually just one character is my absolute favorite

Yin Hanjiang is a little crazy.

Which, yeah, if you read the devil venerable also wants to know (Which if you haven't, you should!) its obvious that our beloved Hanjiang is a little... off at times. But I feel like I forget how crazy he was in the original novel and in the revised! (●´⌓`●)

The way he so calmly accepted his death after he thought he killed Baili Qingmiao is genuinely so chilling. Man, he just went, 'Wenren È is dead and I finally had my revenge so! Bye everyone'. So casual with it.. And all the small tidbits about it scattered through the rest of the novel was so funny. Especially at the beginning with Wenren È trying to establish some self-worth into Hanjiang's mind and his right-hand man just staring blankly at him in return. It's so refreshing to see obsessive characters done right.
