A rich, autumnal Welsh landscape looking down a river, running through a narrow mountain gorge. Steep cliffs are rising high and misty on either side. I'm rewatching IWTV show right now and god I feel like I was so blind when I first watched it having read only IWTV book and not being very involved in the fandom or the Anne Rice's world. Cause there are so many references, moments, and little details understanding of which makes it so much more exiting to follow the story and to try to decode it. And now I can say with confidence that THE WORK THAT THE SHOW HAS DONE IS SO— It feels like watching something finally made by people who love the story as much as you do

This was not a moment for words, but their gaze wandered to an old advertising sign for "prime real estate" that was about to crash. "Do you think we can build a life here again someday?" Ian whispered, a bitter smile on his lips. Mickey shrugged. "We can do whatever we want. We own the whole damn city."
