I was talking more about my s/i and Charles in their college years with a friend and I'm obsessed with them 😭🙏

I've got more stuff I wanna draw but for now take a little sketch of what I imagine to be their first kiss, a heat of the moment thing after he wins a fencing match, and a little comparison of my take on 20 year old Charles vs. 40 something year old Charles ��� his youth and whimsy? GONE!!

What's your favorite murdertooth headcanon? How do you think they got together? How do you think they told the band about their relationship? How does Toki convince Murderface to come out of the closet?

Fave hc: There’s a lot for me, but rn it’s probably that Toki loves giving Murderface tummy rubs while they cuddle. (I’m very sappy ik)

How they got together: After Dethsiduals, they started hanging out around each other more often. That led to Murderface having one of his “god I hope this doesn’t turn me gay,” moments, but that also lead into the “…but I guess if this is what turned me gay I wouldn’t be that upset”. Initially he brushed it off by saying it was just for Murdertooth Records business, but they never did any actual works and just dicked around together. Then after Goingdownklok, it was hard to deny the homoerotic tendencies of their relationship anymore so they cut pussyfooting around it and made it official :]

How did the band find out?: Toki and Murderface are not very subtle people, so it didn’t take the rest of the band long to put the pieces together. After dsr and they where all able to talk to each other about what they did when the band was broken up, Nathan was like “Uh, Murderface why the fuck did you give Toki a folder full of pictures of you jacking off anyway?” And it’s hard to deny much after that so. But they were all very supportive (as supportive as dethklok can be)

How would Toki convince Mf to come out?: Honestly I don’t see him doing much prodding in that department, coming to terms with his sexuality was hard enough for Murderface. I see that being way more of an independent decision for him to reach. After they’ve been dating for a while Murderface gets to thinking ‘no coming out=no getting married’ and of course doesn’t like that idea, so during one of his rare solo tv spots he finally bites the bullet and says “anyone who has a fucking problem with that can go kill themselves”

you want asks? here’s something: when/if the rest of dethklok find out that toki and skwisgaar had gotten together, how do you think each of them would react?

omg yayay thank you mj! this is actually a scenario i've thought about a lot

so, before aotd came i had the specific scenario in my head of skwistok coming out to dethklok together. as in, they sit them all down and tell them about it. like a total formal thing. by this point, they've been together for long time enough that they're OK with it no longer being a secret anymore.

in this scenario, pickles is the most chill about it. it's not like he's particularly happy about it, he's just ok with it and then keeps on doing his thing. it's still a pretty big news after all but he's not judgemental at least. he gives a thumbs up or smth and keeps drinking

nathan is definitely weirded out about it. not because it's gay but because he saw the band as family/brothers so he thinks it's weird and honestly kinda gross. he's mostly judging skwisgaar too because he assumes toki doesn't know what he's doing/gives him kid treatment. nathan is basically a certain subset of the fandom here

murderface is so fucking pissed. both cause it's gay (homophobic homo as usual) and because he feels excluded. he's like WHAT SCHO IT'SCH BRUTAL TO BE GAY NOW? NOT FAIR. WHEN I WASCH GAY- and then abruptly shuts up because he is NOT GAY. btw his rage is just a lame cover for how he cannot stop his brain from fantasizing about having a threesome with skwistok now

after aotd came out however...my scenario changed a little.

first of all, i think after experiencing the end of the world almost and because of his general development, nathan is honestly less uptight about things that might have thrown him off before. meaning, receiving the news that skwistok are together makes him earnestly happy for them. it does still surprise him a little tho somehow, it makes sense. lowkey he was always a BIT worried about skwisgaar's habits so he thinks it's good someone that loves him can take care of him now. my nategaar besties agenda prevails

pickles is also glad for them though vaguely jealous that he doesn't have something like that going for him too but that calls to other issues he'll have time to work on hopefully in the future. he does get a LIL naggy about it, telling them they need to use protection and etc. toki is elated to have a sort of maternal figure worry for him while skwisgaar is genuinely just GAGGING

murderface still acts like a butthurt bitch but does definitely an attempt at be nice about it. maybe he gives them an awkward pat (to which skwisgaar immediately responds to not touch him) but they both genuinely appreciate mf trying for them

this is essentially my wholesome version of skwistok coming out lol

oh and charles already knew in both scenarios. of course he does.

OK SIMON I GOTTA BE SUPER HONEST... i need like a Whole Nother Ask to talk about Ladley in full because i legitimately have too damn much to say on it that it Kinda Needs to be on its own for full effecr but ANYWAYS

DICKFACE IS... very Soft, honestly? like what makes Good Murderface ships is people actually remembering that he’s super talented in his own right in spite of how lazy and posturing he is, and i think dickface just. GETS that perfectly

Like... i think the reason why he and Knubbler have such a surprisingly close relationship is that? of all of dethklok, murderface has both the drive and untapped potential to go super hard as a creator when properly encouraged? (thats why all of his planet piss songs are COMPLETE BANGERS and how he and knubbler managed to NAIL that christmas special before the deus ex mom-ina hit) 

and i think more than anyone like. knubbler GETS that, and clearly respects william a lot considering how many of his Bad Ideas he was willing to sign off on because he HAS the potential to really pull them off with... proper oversight

that and like? dick is super good about working through MF’s self loathing without even really having to try to? he calls him babe, he doesnt shut down his ideas outright, he’s actually willing to compromise with him, something that to my knowledge, no one else in dethklok does. which is just. Huge, since the poor dude has self esteem below the floor

so the fact that like? knubbler has an 100% sincere interest in florishing that and helping will suceed based on his OWN merits is. Chadly. Godtier Ship

Objectively? Nathan or Charles tbh. I love PIckles to bits and pieces but I mean, IRL that guys gatta look like a mess haahaha. If we are talking pre-klok it would be a tie between Nathan and Pickles and Magnus (Nathan in early Dethklok days was like, HNG). 

You know what? Who am I kidding they all must look like shit rn I bet Abigail is still fucking gorgeous rn. She always has been- I change my answer its Abigail 115% have you SEEN HER? Run away with me. 

Character I would marry:

hmpffff again I love Pickles to fucking bits but I don’t think I’d marry the guy. I can admit he is garbage and I love him for that but, tbh, I’d go with Nathan or Abigail. Nathan seems like he would be a very comfortable person to marry and I think he would be very nice and calming to be around and, despite his lifestyle, be pretty faithful. 

Abigail would whip my ass into shape and we would be the most amazing lesbian power couple on the planet. So thats obvious.

I mean, I’m an adult and these men are much more Adult than I am but I’d take preklok Toki under my wing and help him out like, that poor boy was basically raised by the band and hes kinda not doing too hot because of it.

How I feel about this character:

So much. I feel so much about Charlie? He’s such a real person dealing with something he knows is so much bigger than him and he’s good at what he does and there had to have been so many personal sacrifices to get him to where he is now and he’s not super well rounded canonically but what I love about his character is that its not hard to think of him as a well rounded person because the base we have is so natural to work off of??? If that makes sense? Like he’s not an outlandish character he feels genuine and grounded and real like, I could meet him in person irl and he would fit in with the universe. He’s such a grounding character and the main reason MTL can, at all at any point, feel like it could be possible.
