Can you tell what font is used for the text "THE LOST REELS" on the cover-art for the soundtrack album for the Echoes of the Eye DLC for the game Outer Wilds?

I know for sure that:

the "OUTER" part of the game-logo is modified from the font "ITC Avant Garde Gothic Pro Medium",

the "WILDS" part of the game-logo is modified from the font "ITC Serif Gothic Regular",

the "ECHOES" and "EYE" parts of the DLC-logo are modified from the font "ITC Serif Gothic Bold", and

the "ORIGINAL GAME SOUNDTRACK BY ANDREW PRAHLOW" text at the bottom of the cover is in the font "Brandon Grotesque Bold".

And I think the "OF THE" part of the DLC-logo might be the font "ITC Avant Garde Gothic Pro Demi", though I'm not entirely positive on that one.

But I cannot figure out what font is used for "THE LOST REELS". The only image file I can find for the soundtrack cover art (the one that comes with purchasing the album is the same as the one on the composer's Bandcamp) is is unfortunately blurry from upscaling and very lossy JPEG compression, and tools like WhatFontIs and WhatTheFont haven't been able to do much with it.

I can tell that the font is similar to "Univers LT Std 59 Ultra Condensed", "Godiva Reguler", "Bebas Neue Pro Bold", and "Polate D4 Regular", but none of those fonts match perfectly.

Characteristics I've noticed:

It appears to be sans-serif, and possibly monospaced and condensed.

It has low or no contrast (all the lines/strokes appear to be the same thickness, or very close to it).

The "T" and "L" characters are particularly narrow.

The middle bar on the "E" character appears to be the same length as the top and bottom bars, and vertically located right in the middle.

The vertical sides of the "O" character appear to be perfectly straight/flat over the majority of the character's height.

The middle of the "S" character is very steeply angled, and both ends of the character appear to go completely vertical.

The right leg of the "R" character is vertical, not angled.

I'm not entirely sure either. My best guess is that it actually is Univers Ultra Condensed, and it just looks slightly different because of the compression.

as for the borders, that's really simple! i just used the rectangle tool in ps; disable fill and then enable/increase the stroke and you've got a border you can c/p or use duplicate layer to add to each gif :)

also, i'm totally happy to answer questions like this (for real! i promise!) but here, have a secret hack: whatfontis, whatthefont, and font squirrel are all really great options to help you track down a font if you don't feel comfortable messaging the creator, they're no longer active, it's a font you saw on a non-tumblr thing, etc. etc.

I found 2 different fonts called Versailles, one serif and one sans serif, so I'm not sure which you're after.

If you're looking for the sans serif font from Creative Market, it seems like there isn't a free demo available, but whatfontis has a list of alternatives that look similar here.

Sachez alors, qu'il existe sur Internet quelques ressources de bonne qualité qui permettent de reconnaitre une police d'écriture et même mieux, qui permettent d'en découvrir de nouvelles. Je vais donc vous présenter ici 4 outils en ligne qui vont vous permettre d'identifier facilement et gratuitement des polices de caractères. Les 3 premiers outils vont vous permettre de travailler à partir d'une image et le dernier va vous aider à identifier les polices directement sur une page web. Mais avec ça vous devriez avoir tout le nécessaire pour trouver une police d'écriture. WhatTheFont pour reconnaitre une police d'écriture Je vous en ai déjà parlé sur Byothe.fr en 2014, mais WhatTheFont est un outil que fonctionne très bien pour reconnaitre une police d'écriture sur une image. Son fonctionnement en ligne est assez simple. Uploadez une image sur laquelle se trouve la police que vous souhaitez identifier, aidez WhatTheFont à identifier les lettres et en quelques tours de moulinette, il vous proposera les polices qui se rapprochent le plus de celle que vous cherchez. Je vous laisse redécouvrir l'article où j'explique son fonctionnement. WhatTheFont est accessible ici Matcherator pour retrouver une police d'écriture Là encore, il faut partir d'une image. Matcherator essaye de reconnaître tout seul les lettres identifiées. Mais dans le test que j'ai effectué il y avait quelques erreurs (le "Y" était reconnu comme un "U", par exemple).
