okay, so you know how isagi is going to different countries to learn about soccer. sooo, he’s probably trying to learn a bunch of languages, cramming in as much studying as he can before his flight to barcelona, and i think it would be adorable.

imagine his cute, earnest expression as he glares at his phone, repeating sentences with his clumsy pronunciation, and grumbling when whatever app he’s using doesn’t approve. there isn’t much time before his trip, so he’s implementing his studying wherever he can, using casual sentences when you’re out, even if it’s a little embarrassing (he sounds more like a textbook than anything, but he’s learning, so you don’t tell him that). yoichi beams when he sees a certain object, excitedly telling you its word in whatever language he’s focusing on at the time. 

you’re always there to help him with his studies, acting as his practice partner and praising him each time he improves. and you can also whip him into shape if he ever gets lazy. yoichi argues that he can use the mikage translator earbuds, but you encourage him to study anyway, using a few underhanded tactics such as telling him being multilingual is very attractive.

that lights a small fire in him and encourages him to learn a few extra words. he decides to test different pet names and affectionate phrases in other languages, and though he’s a bit too nervous slipping them into your conversations, your heart warms knowing he’s more motivated to learn if it means he can find new ways to express his love.

yoichi’s favorite moment during his polyglot journey is when one of the pet names finally sticks and you stumble over your words, flustered and taken aback. at the same time, a satisfied grin slowly turned mischievous stretches over his face. 

do you guys think learning other languages frustrates him because he can't yap as much or is he excited because it means he'll find new ways to yap

the RPF stans in the sports community are doing more than I could ever try to do. I have a level of respect for them for being able to thrive in those conditions. I will take their name in some form of honor and portray them in hockey au.

I like the idea of there being an rpf stan war about whether or not the ranchers are gay for eachother or not. Jimmy doesn't hide who he likes but its also never been explicitly said that he likes dudes. and Tango doesn't tell the media shit about himself other than where he got his degree and what his weigh in was before a game. Half of the media (the sports magazines that dont really know what theyre talking about) think Tango is with Gem (very tired, very gay, media agent) and call it a day. Gem laughs at this because like, no? thats one of her many dads on this team? her dads that she has to monitor their facebooks posts and make sure don't dox themselves? the guys that don't have any media training outside of "talk about the game"? thats sooo funny, no shes not dating Tango. and when Gem gets a better job offer with the southland canaries, and is urged by her many dads to take it, she becomes the new media manager across town. and she meets THAT shit show a team, that actually use their media and she has to basically put parental locks on Jimmy's twitter. She's so exited for her new job and she smiles at this new team and opens her preliminary file from the last media agent and is in awe. what do you mean Jimmy has three stan accounts? Martyn has tumblr and uses it regularly to terrorize the fans? Grian please explain the "why mumbo is the worst ref" public groupchat with over four thousand people????? She has her work cut out for her.

The vampires(phlebotomists) got me and in my lightheaded state I clearly had some ideas. Also if it wasn't obvious they're vampires or at least have vampiric tendencies.

It's not hard to get blood while in the Fortress of Meropide, there's monthly blood tests done to ensure the health of the prisoners and well the blood will be disposed of anyways so why not consume it himself? So he is never lacking though it's not exactly fresh or the best tasting food is food in his eyes.

But their blood is just as if not even more addicting than the tea he drinks on the daily. He doesn't drink from his love often since they live on the surface but when he does he makes a whole event of it.

He'll take them wherever they want to go, within reason of course, and spend hours with them enjoying each other's presence and the surface to it's fullest. And as night draws near he holds them close inside their home with the curtains drawn closed with only the light of a candle or two to light up the room.

He's playful as he searches for the best spot to bite them kissing up their jaw, nipping at their flesh, hands roaming their body to get them worked up. It shouldn't be just about him after all he's gotta "compliment the chef" if you would even if the order of things is wrong.

He focuses on their pleasure for sometime and once they're about to reach their high he licks up a numbing stripe up their neck and as soon as they reach it does he bite. It's delicious, it's always delicious and it makes him moan into their flesh as he drinks.

He savors every drop like it's his last, cause it is in some sense. Days, weeks, months? He never knows when he'll get a taste of this sweet ambrosia again so he's got to enjoy it while it lasts. When he's finished having his fill he tends to their wounds and makes them a hearty dinner to replenish their strength.

Blade

Their blood fills him with yearning for more but also with fear every time he drinks. He fears that one day he'll take far too much until his love has nothing left to give and he'll only snap out of his daze to find them drained of life in his arms.

He always stops before he can truly get his fill, preferring to be borderline starving than ever being truly filled because it gets him closer to death. Instead if he truly needs to he'll seek to fill his belly elsewhere though the blood of his enemies is bitter and gross.

But on days he cannot take it anymore eyes wide and crazed, panting breaths, with hands trembling, they welcome him into their arms and guide him to their neck. It's hard for him to keep himself from just latching onto them with his fangs as he searches their neck for the best place to bite. He at least has enough awareness to numb their neck with his saliva before biting down deeply.

It's comforting to feel their warmth seep into his body with every gulp as if their love is truly filling him. He distantly feels one of their hands petting his hair while the other clings to his back.

When he's had just enough he carefully licks their wounds until they stop bleeding and pulls them closer in his arms until his head rests just above their heart.

It got me emotional when kikyo started reminiscing about when her babies were little lmao also I smell some kind of unrequited love hmm🤨 could literally smell the sus on calypsa like c'mon ALSO THEY BETTER BE NICE TO BABY ALLUKA! I feel like kikyo would have been so happy to have a daughter after all these boys although I have honestly no idea if Alluka is biologically a boy or a girl

Being a mother and having a big family was always Kikyo's dream. Her children will always be her babies, no matter how many years pass. Though Kikyo's love can be twisted and smothering, it is also undeniable that her love for her children is unparalleled and she will do anything for them, and anything to ensure their happiness. (At least, what she thinks their happiness should be.)

Alluka is canonically a trans girl. Even though we hear Silva refer to Alluka as an evil thing (because they fear Nanika) and basically dehumanize his own child, imprison, and disown her from the family, I don't think we really have a narrative from Kikyo's perspective, in the present timeline of the manga. I believe Kikyo's love for Alluka never diminished, despite fearing yet striving to learn more about Nanika and its powers. But Kikyo and everyone else in Kukuroo Mountain are living under the current Zoldyck head's thumb and rules, which would be Silva's….but she doesn’t give up on her babies. Alluka’s situation is never what she envisioned for her child and she laments the future that Alluka lost (under the assumption that if Nanika can’t be controlled then Alluka will stay trapped) I eventually want to explore how Kikyo tried to help Alluka, like first seeing if it was possible for Nanika to be exorcised from Alluka by nen exorcists, etc. (not possible) and then try other training and grounding methods for Alluka to remain in the front and have greater control over Nanika and its spontaneous requests (that worked only a little) Alluka didn’t go into complete isolation until she made requests on illumi and he had to give her everything she asked for☠️ They learned that family was not exempt from Nanika’s requests—whims and for no particular reasons — and it was a frightening moment for them all (That’s why Alluka has some of illumi’s bones stuffed in a plush doll in her room. When she gets lonely and wants her big brother, she will hug it. It makes her a little less sad and eases her loneliness🥲) However, Illumi still has nightmares and sleep paralysis because of this. Nanika actually loves Illumi and that terrifies him! 100% nightmare fuel lol He literally has one fear 😂Illumi also uses that moment to justify his feelings regarding Alluka, but there is a lot of hidden trauma that Illumi suffered and doesn’t remember, and unfairly shouldered a lot of blame on Alluka. Kalluto ends up adopting that same mentality as well. It really pains Kikyo to see her family fractured like this 😭 I will also go more in depth on how Kikyo went to great lengths to try to help Illumi when he went through a pivotal moment in his life. And more into Alluka and Illumi’s relationship, a lot needs to be said and unpacked! Kikyo can definitely be controlling and high-strung at times, but she is always rooting for and defending her children!

It was awesome getting to write more about Kikyo and Calypsa's backstory, as they both grew up together in Meteor City. You have every right to be suspicious of Calypsa :) Calypsa is very much in love with Kikyo, and obsessed with her. After Calypsa was kidnapped, she clung to her memories of Kikyo and never stopped thinking about her. Kikyo was her life raft. Kikyo saved her life, even if only in thought. And then years later when they finally reunited again, it felt like fate to Calypsa! But Kikyo was married to Silva, and had the big family she always dreamed of. Calypsa vowed to never lose Kikyo again, so she had to find a way to stay forever in Kikyo's life, without disrupting Kikyo’s happiness. Her obsession never faded, it just extended to Kikyo's son---Illumi. Illumi is the spitting image of his mother, and if Calypsa couldn’t have Kikyo then one of her daughters will have him :) Problem solved lol she was definitely using psyche as a pawn for very selfish and manipulative reasons Ofc, but there are other reasons why Calypsa wants this marriage to work (her family is being targeted by some powerful people in New Bledel City, so having the Zoldyck's protection will tremendously help them)
