confirming the Ethiopian wolf pollination hypothesis seems so straightforward in theory, like just erecting anti-wolf barriers around some of the hot poker plants and seeing if those get pollinated at the same rate as the other ones, but also I feel like it could be some lab’s 6 year long project that ends up in Nature and answers more questions about wolf dessert time than I could ever think to ask. and also it would give more beautiful photos of wolves between 3 seconds and 1 hour into passionate nectar indulgence. so hopefully with the media attention they’re getting they can do that

#soooooooooo many questions man #some of the people in the tags in the last post were right in that there ARE bats who are pollinators #and those cases of animal pollination DOES indeed result in a creature with a ton of pollen all over its face because it was so into it #in the case of bats it’s certain cacti species if I remember correctly. which is why some have big funnel-shaped flowers #conveniently bat snout shaped and sized and directly in migration paths for no reason in particular #I thought about that too when I saw this tbh #wolf question 102: if these wolves are indeed major pollinators. in what ways are these flowers hidden treat dog toy optimized?#bc ideally you want them to be enjoyers for a longer length of time right? you gotta have up to 4.5 minutes of nectar engagement in there.#assuming more time at a flower stalk = more pollination I suppose

#poorly drawn mdzs #mdzs #wei wuxian #granny wen #a-yuan #It's always fascinating how colours translate from the page to the screen.#It would probably surprise a lot of people to see what some of these comics actually look like in physical form.#My lighter colours takes about 3-4 washes before it shows up on scan which means it tends to ripple the page.#And my yellows and oranges are drastically different colours when scanned compared to the ink colour.#There's about 20 or so comics where everyone's hair is purple - because it scanned in the exact same colour as my light grey.#Wait my book is right here in front of me so I can...yeah...Comics 57-77 were indeed purple.#This is all to say - is it not fascinating how what we see is often not the full truth of what the subject truly is?#Is it not fascinating to open another episode that reminds us that despite everyone's claims they could totally spot the evil YLLZ-#-The man walks around among them for months as no more than a man haggling for deals like the rest.#It's almost as if he's just a person. It's almost as if none of us - no matter what we do are really anything more than just a person.#Your good acts will be overtaken by how other's interpret you in negative light.#Just as easily are people willing to forgive crueler actions if they hold you in high esteem.#But what's real? Is the page I hold the real version of this comic? Is it the one you look at?#Is the man known as Wuxian the most himself when he is alone or on the battlefield?#Perhaps he is and has always been a scared orphan boy lost in the market.#I think there is no good answer to any of these questions.#But I do know that panic rising in WWX as he frantically looks for A-yuan was for more than one boy.#To be human is to have layers around a delicate center. I just recently learned a cat fact that is so Robotnik coded that I had to share.

When cats headbutt you, they're doing more than just saying, 'I like this human'. They're essentially scent marking them, letting other cats in the area know that 'This one right here? Mine. This is my human now.'

I imagine Ivo would do something akin to that without really thinking about it once he finally accepted Stone into the lab. Maybe not nessicarily headbutts, but random shoulder pats/bumps/checks, leaving pieces of his own clothes on the backs of chairs so the smell rubs off on him, sets an air freshner around Stone's work area that smells like his own home.

Ivo can see that he's doing it and recognizes the patterns. But he can't fathom for the life of him, why he keeps on doing it. Stone is confused, and wonders if the doctor thinks he smells bad.

I like to think he does this regularly!

might be a corn plate tweet kind of post but during the last round of the mingle game which is where the group only consist of two people, everyone else was running without holding hands except players 222 and 333 that is a canon couple (or exes so far i guess) in the show, and the other pairing that are holding hands are players 120 and 246. could this be a hint that hyunju (120) and gyeong sok (246) could be an endgame in season 3?? bcs i certainly hope so
