As much as this may be a writing flaw I love how Bolin has seemingly no moral consistency lol

He's against rigging sport matches and animal cruelty. He is used to stealing and has literally robbed an old lady. He has scammed people. He has been scammed and manipulated. He is fine with working for a criminal triad despite Mako having told him not to. He is shocked and horrified when Mako burns parking tickets. He attampts to bribe a judge. He helps create a propagand a movie and proceeds to sexually harrass his costar. He saves the president. He forgives the woman who abused and terrorised him. He helps rescue people from a collapsing building. He advocates for taking in a lying thieveing child and cares for Kai tremendously despite Kai manipulating and robbing him multiple times. He gleefuly proposes stealing from a fruit vendor. Despite his care and kindness towards Kai he yells at at least two children for lesser offences. He puts his sock in a man's mouth. He joins a totalitarian dictatorship and ignores the blatant red flags. He reluctantly leaves a village to starve after they reject the Earth Empire. He later happily helps unload supplies for the same village. He leaves the totalitarian government and tries to help a city under siege. He slaps his friend. He refuses to not help a bunch of refugees amd goes out of his way to save them. He fakes an injury to get an ex partner to talk to him. He goes on a secret mission to rescue the people who he'd wronged. He goes out of his way to rescue a woman who he has every right to believe has betrayed him and also tries to set her up with the guy she likes. He briefly wamts to become a politician. He comes up with the most diabolical prank I can imagine and he want to play it on an old lady and 3 kids.
