I enjoy Inquisition well enough, but that game does NOT respect your time. At all.
Nothing angers me more than the fact that I cannot save between battles in the deep roads. Like what do you mean I have five major problems one right after the other with only two supply caches and no saves allowed? I got through all the waves and just needed to beat the last emissary when all my people went down and now I gotta do that shit again????

Gemma’s Interrogation
A possible excerpt from a possible DQ11 fanfic I will possibly write.  Possibly. Gemma sat quietly, drawing desperately to hid her mounting unease.  How long had it been since Cobblestone was destroyed?  Days?  Weeks?  She had lost count.
Sir Hendrik had remained true to his word.  Neither she nor anyone else from Cobblestone had been harmed or roughed up so far.  But now, faced with a stern and none too pleased Heliodorian soldier, she was unsure how long that would last.
The soldier sighed deeply from the other end of the table, his silver and golden helmet denoting his superior rank compared to the bucket helmeted, red scarved soldiers who flanked him on either side.  While his movements were calm, Gemma knew that he was agitated, frustrated.  This had been the fourth time in as many days he had personally called for her for an interrogation.
The silence was so thick it could be cut with a knife.  Finally, he broke the silence.
“Look, girl.”  He said, his calm voice betraying his frustration, “I don’t like you, you don’t like me, that much is clear, I ASSURE you.  Just tell me what I want to hear, and we won’t have to keep doing this every SODDING day.”
Gemma’s eyes narrowed, “I’ve told you already, I’ve told you everything I know.”
“And I’ve told you already that I was NOT born yesterday.  I’ve gone over the notes, checked and triple checked them!  Out of all these damn yokels, you were the one closest to the Darkspawn.  If there was ANYONE he would have confided in, it would be you.”
He leaned in close.  dangerously close, “Did he ever tell you about wanting to go anywhere?  A city?  A monument?  An event?  ANYTHING?”
Gemme winced at the intensity of that last word, but she remained firm, “No, he did not.  We would spend our days playing or preparing for his coming of age ceremony.”  Her eyelids flattened, “And quite frankly, these interrogations would probably go better for you if you didn’t get so upset when things don’t go your way.”
One of the lesser soldiers couldn’t help but snicker at this verbal jab, but that snicker was abruptly cut off as a metal fist SLAMMED into the table with such force it shook.  The head soldier shot up out of his chair, his helmet just barely covering the fire in his eyes.
“LISTEN, you DAMN harlot!  I don’t think you’ve yet to fully grasp the situation you’re in!”  He shouted in fury, four days of frustration finally boiling over, “The Darkspawn DESTROYED Dundrassil!  The entire kingdom and its people slaughtered in a SINGLE night!  The Princess, MURDERED!  And thanks to YOU and the rest of your fellow boonies in that rundown DUNGHEAP you called a village, his evil was allowed to fester for over 16 years!  And now he is loose upon the world once again, and ALL of Erdrea is in danger!”
“You’re WRONG!!”  Gemma suddenly shouted, “Eleven is NOT a bad person, and he is certainly no Darkspawn!  I still have NO idea what you even MEAN when you call him that, but whatever it is, he is NOT your enemy!”
“Why you...”  “S-Sir...”  One of the soldiers stammered, but the interrogated held up his hand, “His Majesty AND Sir Hendrik were BOTH there the night Dundrassil fell!  They SAW the Darkspawn’s evil FIRSTHAND!  And you DARE call them liars?!  I ought to-!”
“That is ENOUGH.”
A firm voice cut off the soldier as he and his fellows immediately stood at attention.  Sir Hendrik scowled deeply, clearly disappointed by the display he had just witnessed.  He eyed the captain severely, “...Return to your original posts.  I will have a new interrogator assigned for the forseeable future.”
“S-Sir Hendrik, I am so close to a breakthrough, I can FEEL it!”  the captain protested.
“That is an ORDER.”
The captain visibly deflated at the dressing down.  he shot one last dark look at Gemma as he and his fellows saluted their general before exiting.  Gemma exhaled in relief as Hendrik sighed deeply.
“I cannot apologize enough for that sorry display.  Tensions are high throughout Heliodor, but that is NO excuse for his behavior.  Even though you helped raise and shelter the Darkspawn, you and the rest of Cobblestone are ultimately innocents.”
“...Is it true?”
“Hm?”  Hendrik turned to her as she looked at him dead on, “Were you...truly there, the night Dundrassil fell?”
“...I was.”  He says simply, his black gauntleted hand clenching tightly as memories of that dark day flooded his mind, “And the things I saw...I dare not speak of them.  I will NOT allow the rest of Erdrea to suffer the same fate.”
Gemma frowned as she looked down at this.  For all his nobility, Hendrik was just as opposed to her dearest friend as the rest of Heliodor.  Hendrik’s expression softened, ever so slightly, as he eyed the young girl.
“...I will not apologize for what I must do, nor for what will happen once the Darkspawn is captured.  But...I give you my condolences, all the same.  Darkspawn or no, you do not deserve to lose a childhood friend in such a manner.”
“....He is not a bad man...I know he isn’t.”
“...I wish I could believe you, young lady.”  Hendrik admitted sadly as Gemma stood, ready to be escorted back to her cell.
