i am not a very good gamer despite enjoying games. i consider myself pretty casual unless i for realsies lock-in which isn't always fun for me, and also my aim is ass and my relationship with my keyboard for the past two decades has been solely a writerly one. you know, index on F and J, etc etc. i didn't play my first PC game until lock down, when i tried running Portal on my jank ass laptop. and then Among Us and Phasmophobia. (been console all my life so like. you get the gist.)

ANYWAY after i 100%'d SOTM, my enjoyment of the game is kinda nebulous. not my favorite, but i still wanna play it despite there being nothing else to do. i don't wanna replay it again, since i did that three times courtesy of soft locks, buuuuuuut. i wanna play it. so.

i figured i'd try speedrunning for the first time.

casually messing around while on a discord call and in less than 30 minutes i learned how to do two major skips and boy howdy when i tell you that it is on. i've keybound my FPS counter and downloaded livesplit. oh there's only 4 people running the fun%? that's 5 people now, bitch.
