WLS-FM/Chicago Appoints Todd Cavanah as Program Director

Cumulus Media appoints Todd Cavanah as Program Director for Classic Hits WLS-FM in Chicago. He joins WLS-FM after 33 years at crosstown Audacy CHR WBBM-FM (B96), where he was named Program Director in 1993. Cavanah also served as VP/Programming for CBS Radio Chicago and Audacy Chicago and programmed Country WUSN-FM (US 99), Classic Hits WJMK-FM (104.3 K-Hits) and Classic Hip Hop WBMX-FM (104.3 Jams). Prior to working in Chicago, Cavanah held positions at KTRS-FM in Casper WY, KRXY-FM in Denver and at Elektra Records. Cumulus Chicago Vice President/Market Manager Marv Nyren said, “Having an experienced and talented Program Director like Todd Cavanah join 94.7 WLS-FM and the Cumulus Chicago team is a perfect fit. Todd’s track record of success in Chicago is second to none and his presence is already being felt in the hallways.
