Why not be the man you want?
Youâll only know how things feel when you try them. Put on that heavy leather jacket of your parent; pair with dark-washed jeans and a pair of boots that are older than you; maybe that musky, woody scent. Who cares if it's bigger than your body? If your pants are too loose? If your shoes are too tight? Allow yourself to test the waters. Allow yourself to be a guy. To act like a guy. To smell like a guy. To be around other guys.
But most importantly, allow yourself to enjoy: take that faggot you've always wanted but feared rejection from, and talk to him. Fuck him hard. Leave your mark on him: hickeys, bites, slap marks. Pull his hair so hard that strands of it collect in your palms. Make him moan for you. Not for anyone else. Stop waiting for someone to pick you up and have you instead, when you can have this slut all to yourself; fight the first bastard in an establishment who dares to raise his voice in the slightest to you â overpower him, hit him back, show him that your bite is as strong as his, if not stronger. You don't have to live in his shadow when you can make him live in yours; Get a hobby, whether it involves physical contact or not. Work to be the best at what you love most. And you know why? Because you can be anything you want to be, man. Can't you see that you've already come halfway? Can't you see how much you can still improve in yourself?
Be proud to be a guy. Live to be a guy. That's your time.
Where they say: âYouâre a freakâ, I say: âThatâs a fucking art.â

Chapter 3 Batfam x Card-Captor!reader
A/n:- yay new chapter!!!
⥠previous ⥠masterlist ⥠next âĄ
In the magicians society, dreams are considered Omens
At least that's what Kero told you.Â
Mages, witches, wizards- what ever they call themselves. As long as one is magically adept, Their dreams will become Omens. Prophecies. Fate.
One problem.
Why are you getting them?
You wouldn't consider yourself a magical prodigy, and yet somehow you keep seeing these ominous dreams.
First it was before you met Kero. Though you hardly remembered that until it happened a few days ago.
It was the same setting just this time, it was of a boy.
In what seemed to be Chinese ceremonial clothing...
You didn't pay mind to it. Even though you feel this weird sense of dread.
But what can you do?
Your just a kid after all
It's been 2 months since you accidentally released the Clow cards into the natural world.
But things have been flowing smoothly.
Currently, You were dealing with two cards. One was flooding the entire manor, the other was growing a giant tree from inside.
You could hear the glass break as branches continue to grow.
Your just grateful everyone is out to god knows where.
"Reclaim the guise you were meant to inhabit! Clow card!"
You could even say your getting better at this job.
A card forms at the tip of the sealing staff
'Rainy'
That's one disaster dealt with. You prepare to deal with the second threat. Raising the staff above your head until Kero stops you.
"Y/n wait." Kero flies Infront of you blocking you from doing anything.
The tree bark starts glowing and disappears. Another card forms Infront of you.
'Woody'
"Woody is a relatively dormant card" Kero explains.
Right, you forgot he was basically friends with these cards. It's hard to believe their sentient.
"So It was only acting up because rainy was watering it too much." You tuck the cards into your pocket.
"Mister Kero is there a way to undo the affects of the cards?" Tomoyo asks walking out of her hiding place, camera in hand...
Of course.
She has a point though. Despite the fact that the cards have been caught, The wreckage from fighting them still remains
Leaves from woody's tree and puddles from rainy
"Well depends, maybe we can use the other cards to clean it up"
Kero and Tomoyo look at you, expecting an idea.
"Why are you looking at me!? Your the guardian!" You place your hands on your hips, and all Kero can do it repeat the same excuse.
"Relax okay It's been centuries I don't remember everything..."
You pull out the cards you have already caught and decided to use the only only that made any sense.
"Windy!" And before enough know it the mess is gone.
"Well that works." Kero says, inspecting the floor. It's not the most perfect clean up, but it's enough to not have anyone notice
"Let's get back to my room before any of that mess can be tied back to us. "
It'd be a bigger problem if anyone, mainly Alfred, found out you not only flooded the Manor but also grew a giant tree in it.
"So what cards have been caught so far"
You pull out the small stack of card laying them out on the table. Tomoyo opens the fancy journal her mother had bought her ready to record everything.
"So. First, we already have 'Windy'." The only card that didn't escape. Kero mentioned it shares the same dormant nature as Woody.
"Next we caught 'shadow' at school." You're still shocked how you didn't get caught... Despite the fact that it should be heavily guarded.
"Next was 'silence', from the art museum." The school trip which ended in a captured card.
You also found out Toya works at that place.
"There was 'Jump', from Miss Maki's toy store." Miss Maki was so sweet, poor thing had her heart troubled thinking she was cursed with bad luck.
On how her toys returned to her shop.
On how everyone turned to her and called her a thief.
Turns out it was just a Clow card. But for that reason alone you have a personal vendetta against it.
That and how it was annoying to catch.
"A that's it...?" You feel around your pocket to check if it was empty. Unfortunately finding another card. A card that you Hate, Despise, Fear.
"watery'Â from the aquarium." Your hangout with Yukito that got ruined. The tanks near the food court of that place burst, flooding the entire place.
How about a 'rewind' for a clear picture?
What made you so hesitant about this card?
âź
"This place is the best!" You say happily kicking your feet watching the fish swim around in the large tank beside you.
"Right? Fish and food in the same place." Yukito says excitedly.
Ah yes... Yukito, the only person who can ever match your energy.
Originally he was going to go with your brother, but since he had work he decided to bring you instead.
You decided to come anyway. Because earlier you sensed a Clow card here when you came with Chiharu and the others.
In the penguin exhibition to be exact. When a penguin got stuck In the water. Where a penguin feeder who looked awfully familiar saved it.
Technically you're here for the Clow card. But getting to hangout with your favorite person is a plus.
This is also why Tomoyo and Kero are spying from afar.
Tomoyo with her camera and Kero keeping an eye for her.
After all if your going to catch a Clow card she needs to record it. And you need to be dressed up super cute! Which you are, curtesy of Tomoyo herself
When you see the waiters reflection in the glass or the tank you turn around excitedly, ready to order.
But all you see is your brother in a servers uniform.
Wait a minute.
YOUR BROTHER!?
"Toya???" Is all you could say in your bewilderment. You didn't even know he worked here too...
Gosh! You knew that penguin feeder looked familiar!
"What would you like to order" Is all he said. Ignoring the amazed mess you had become.
"You were the penguin feeder from this morning!"
"Gee you already figured it out" he said with no enthusiasm in his voice.
"What the hell..."
Yukito watches with a smile while the two of you bicker. Oh how he wishes he had a sibling too.
But the fun's cut short.
That feeling again. A Clow card.
You couldn't process it. It was so fast. Like a sharp stab in the chest.
But Toya could. Your change in expression told him all he needed to know.
But before he could ask, the glass of the tank shattered.
And the water from within gushed out at an alarming speed.
Before you knew it the entire seating area was flooded.
Everyone swim to higher ground. You your no where to be seen.
But you make out an invisible force rush towards you, going past people escaping straight to you.
You don't understand-
You try swimming but something caught you get. You try your best to push your self higher but you just couldn't .
You've had swimming drills for this exact reason-!
Why can't you move...?
Of course how can you? When there's water swirling around your legs keeping you in place.
Your struggle makes you loose air.
 And eventually your vision darkens.
.
..
âŠ
Everyone is on top already. And yet Tomoyo can't find you anywhere.
She looks through the crowd one more time, pushing past people hoping to see you.
When she see's your older brother along with Yukito she runs
towards them. Panic starting to set in.
"Tomo-" Toya gets interrupted by Tomoyo's scared voice
"I cant find N/n anywhere! I don't think she made it out"
That made them quiet down.
Toya didn't hesitate to jump into the water again.
He knew something was wrong.
Yukito placed a reassuring hand on Tomoyo's shoulder "Wait her okay? Don't worry." He says with a smile before following Toya into the water
Toya swam around looking for you. Once he spots you he takes note of the water trapping your leg.
It swirled the same way with the penguin this morning too.
He can already tell your loosing air, he has to drag you out quick.
Time doesn't end up becoming a problem for two though. By the time he reached you the water started stop draining out.
Yukito had already got to the emergency lever. Breaking the glass somehow and pushing down the lever.
The drains open up as the water level decreases.
The moment Tomoyo spots you she bolts towards you,
despite all the concerned adult's behind her telling her to wait.
Toya looks over you looking for any kind of injury.
He pats your back gently, getting you to cough up any water.
But you just remain still. You hairs covering your eyes. So he can't tell your expression.
It tried to drown you. It tried to kill you.
Once he makes out the water dripping from you face as tears is when he finally hugs you. Patting your head.
Tomoyo and Yukito eventually get to you two, patiently waiting while you quietly sobbed into your brothers shoulder.
The rest of the day went on in a blur
Toya taking you home.
Telling Alfred what happened.
Alfred's worried gaze.
Running into Damian.
Him interrogating you (again).
And him glaring at Toya who was at the door step.
But you did learn something important.
Something the clouded your mind.
It tried to kill you.
The more cards you catch the more aware the other card's will be aware of your presence.
Despite Kero and Tomoyo's protest you still went back.
And caught it.
â
"N/n"
You snap back to both Tomoyo and Kero's concerned stares.
Even though it's been a week, the event still haunts you.
Nightmares and scares became normal to you again. Worse than the one you had of your mother death
You've tried to forget it. You really did.
"That's five cards, seven with 'Rainy' and 'Woody'."
Kero and Tomoyo shared a look.
"How about we take a break today eh? We still have some pudding left from last nights shopping." Kero, ever the optimist.
Tomoyo couldn't help but chuckle at the statement. Kero flies over and grabs some pudding.
Maybe you can put the incident in the back of your mind this one afternoon.
So that you can enjoy this treat with them.
"N/n" Naoko's voice sung as she stepped in front of you.
It's currently the last period and you teacher ever graciously made it free for you all.
As other students chatted around with their friend's you little group started pushing chairs together so you could all sit in a huddle.
"Yes Naoko dearest." You voice dragged with drama as Chiharu and Rika deadpan at you.
"Do you want to go through the walkway to the school with me."
Huh????
"What why?" You ask. None of you really use that road anyway when they all get either dropped of by their parents
or cut through the main road like you.
"Listen I heard that apparently there's been sightings of a ghostly apparition there~" She whispers.
Ghost's are your weak point. If supernatural abilities can exists in this world so can they.
Your fear is well known. Boys in the third grade tried to bully you with it.... until Chiharu gave them something real to shiver about.
So your big 'no' doesn't matter in the astounding yeses from Rika, Chiharu and Tomoyo.
"Come-on~ it'll be fun! " Chiharu says her pigtails swaying from side to side.
"I don't know what your idea of fun is..." You grumble, and that solidified their plan.
You were coming.
"Turn back I beg of you-!" You dramatic cries carry through the wind while the four drag you through the walkway.
You didn't expect it to look so....Dead. Tall trees cast a shadow onto the road making it look like it was leading to a cemetery or something.
You can see fog-
You swear you can see fog.
You only agreed it was a school zone. You thought it had flower and shit.
Why did it look like a radioactive zone. People actually go through this everyday???
None the less you cries prove futile as the drag you by your hand through the cobble floor. When they cut through the trees is when you really silently start to freak out.
"Tomoyo..." You cry holding her hand tightly.
She smiles at you and somehow manages to get her camera while you cling onto her for dear life.
"By the way, My mother's birthdays coming up." Chiharu's voice breaks the silence. "What do you think I should get her?"
"Hm? Your mom likes you bake doesn't she? Maybe something like a cake tray?" Rika say's.
Chiharu turns to both you and Tomoyo
"N/n what do you think?" She asks.
The group pauses. Rika softly gasps and chiharu covers her mouth.
It takes you a minute you realize what they're so shocked about.
Everyone knows about your mother's death.
It made headlines.
The famous model from the Daidoji family found dead.
With her children clinging onto her corpse
"Gee you guys I'm not that sensitive. It happened when I was three I've gotten used to it." You laugh it off.
"Still sorry..." chiharu says, giving you a hug before you all venture deeper into the path.
You all eventually reach the point where the sighting happened.
The the endless amount of trees dwindling down as you approach a cliff.
Naoko snickers, looking around the area before turning to your group.
"See N/n there's no such things as ghost's. If there was a ghost it would be here." Naoko says triumphantly.
"Just cause there's not a ghost here doesn't mean they don't exist!"
"Please you saw all the videos of the ghost in this place, its all Probably CGI...or Ai ew."
"N/n you believe in aliens of all things. Maybe your belief in the supernatural is a bit too strong don't you think?"
"They do exist, I swear I've seen one before-!" Your sentence gets cut off as you see the silhouette behind Naoko.
A body floats from below the cliff in an ominous manner only this time you're not the only one who saw it. Rika and Chiharu's face contorts in fear as well.
A young woman's body with her hair covering her face.
Just like you see in those horror movies
Naoko looks at you with the almost blank expression. The figure flies towards your group.
"It's right behind me isn't it." With your hesitant nods, Naoko turns around to be faced with the monster.
You group breaks out in Screams as you run the way you came from, having to drag a confused looking Tomoyo on your way out.
"Oh my god. Oh my god oh my god." You manage to wheeze out.
"Okay no that was a ghost. That was definitely a ghost"Â Naoko says trying to keep her voice firm but failing miserably
"That was the ugliest beast I've seen in my entire life" Chiharu says patting her chest in an attempt to comfort her self.
"With its pointed teeth and all..." Rika continues the statement.
Beast? "Beast? No no it was clearly a lady with her hair covering her face." You say
"Huh! I saw a lion like monster." Rika says.
Chiharu looks between the both of you like you've gone blind. "Lion??? No way it was like this weird spirit looking- "
"I saw a meat bun." Tomoyo says.
. . .
"A bun?" You manage to choke out...
Before you can ask her again, Rika yells at you all.
She brings you all back to your senses, and stops Naoko from taking you all back in there to 'double-check'
As everyone drags themselves away from the scene you feel that familiar feeling again.
That wasn't a Clow card was it?
"Yep, it's a Clow card." Kero say's, gobbling another spoon of pudding.
"Since everyone say's they saw something different... I'm going to assume that it's illusion."
"Oh since they were all expecting different types of ghost's they all saw something different." Tomoyo's voice rings through the communication device.
"Bingo-! So are we going right now."
"I mean we have to we can't let it hurt anyone." You say packing the book of Clow into a small bag, preparing to meet up with Tomoyo.
"Right, I'll be there with you costumes." Tomoyo says before hanging up.
"Aw sweet!"
"N/n careful!" Kero screams as you stepped towards the illusion.
Almost an hour of chasing a ball of light only to finally be able to corner it towards the edge of the cliff.
Your legs throb but you push through with the will to get this done and Kero yelling motivational quotes he read on the internet.
. . .
The light contorts and forms a silhouette.
A young girls figure forming.
You carefully step closer, preparing the sealing staff to capture the card.
Taking note of Kero's instructions... yet...
The further you step away from them and closer to the card the more his screams turn into incoherent mumbling.
Your surroundings turn blue...
The closer you step the more deluded your thought become.
The young woman smiles...
That face is so familiar
Right now you can't think of anything straight expect the face Infront of you.
Kero said it was based on the affected person's memories.
To be able to catch it, you need to return it to its true form.
The only way to do that is to break it's delusion.
Think N/n, think.
It's still the same ghostly form from earlier.
But where would you have seen anything like that.
One step closer.
Based on the stories Naoko told you throughout the day, you painted a picture of a ghost girl in your head.
But that's not what you see exactly....This ghost girl is...different? So couldn't be just that...right?
Second step
After that's while on the walk...chiharu had said her mother's birthday was coming up...
Mother...
You look up again to meet the delusions face only to see you mother staring back.
Her hair isn't covering her face anymore and she smiles at you all happy and healthy.
And...alive.
She opens her arms expecting you to rush in.
With no hesitation to take another step.
Third step..?
But her image fades. Her body evaporating into the air like it was never there.
The moons gentle light meets your gaze as you fall down wards past the cliff
You feel the weight of gravity pull you down as you close your eyes.
N/n..
N/n...
"N/n!!!" Tomoyo's scream came through you as she violently shakes you. Tears stream down her face.
It takes you minute to register that she's hugging you.
The world seems to be spinning in your eye's
Kero floats near her equally as mortified. They didn't expect it to get this bad.
"What...what happened..." Your voice comes in as a whisper as you vision stabilizes
"You fell...past the cliff. We tried yelling at you to stop but..."
"Well guess you should thank this idiot. It saved you" Kero say's waving around a Clow card.
'Watery'
"What..?"
"It came out and made a sphere of water under you...to protect you from the fall." Tomoyo say's stroking your head.
Both you and Tomoyo look at Kero for an explanation, to which he immediately gets startled.
"Don't look at me! I'm shocked too! It take a lot of mana for a card to release itself for a purpose."
Seriously..?
How on earth is he the guardian of the seal???
"And not to mention mana is like food to them, so just know good ol' watery here basically gave up their meal to the next week to save you"
Watery...
tried to save you...?
You stare at the card in Kero's hands. Feeling like the liquid
entity drawn on the staring back you...
Suddenly all the times you purposely avoided the card made you feel...
Guilty.
Don't mistake your feeling. The thought of the other cards being out for your head still terrified you, It literally just happened but...
At the end of the day, they're sentient.
They're probably afraid...
Can they even feel fear...? Probably.
You look up to the cliff you fell from. The light from illusion slightly visible.
"Come on." You say standing and dusting your self.
"No N/n lets give it a break, you're not in the state to deal with it right now." Kero object's
"I'd rather catch it now and have this whole thing done. Let's go."
"Aiyah...that girl."
You stand before the illusion again.
Only this time
your mind was clear as day.
The background starts to turn blue again.
But Kero and Tomoyo are prepared this time holding watery and windy just in case anything happens.
The moment your mother image forms you realize a lot of thing that were...wrong...
You notice everything that you couldn't before.
Like how your mother looked young. No less than 16. But your mother died when she 27.
You understand why it's like that though...
You only know what she looks like based on the modelling pictures that Toya showed you. She was 16 then...
You don't remember her face from before she died.
The illusion smiles at you, opening it's arms as if welcoming you to a hug.
But before the delirium could start again you speak.
"Could you stop impersonating my mother? It's pissing me off."
The illusions smile falls flat.
The entity's body starting to dissociate until all you see is an explode of color in a kaleidoscopic pattern.
"N/n! Now!" Kero voice rings in
The sudden shift burns your eyes but at least you can Kero's instructions.
You raise your sealing staff.
"Reclaim the guise you were meant to inhabit! Clow card!"
The pattern breaks being vacuumed into a card.
'Illusion'
The card floats Infront of you but you note the dark abyss that surrounds you.
Kero and Tomoyo have disappeared along with your entire surrounding.
You don't get it...
You caught the card didn't you..?
Why is this happening!?
"N/n..."
You turn around.
And angelic figure looks at you a small smile adorning her face.
"Mom?" You manage to say.
"Hi sweetheart~" She crouches down your level, her wings shifting in happiness
"Oh look at you" she cups your cheeks, turning your head from side to side.
Oh my god...
It's really her
"Sweet heart...don't worry to much okay..." her voice quiet's down.
what
"There's no such thing as coincidences in this world everything is just a step in a bigger plan" she hugs you tight, maybe for the last time.
Why is she telling you this...
"Everything will work out. Everything will be alright, it will definitely be alright."
you stretch your arms in an attempt to catch her. to ask her not to leave.
But her voice fade and the surroundings return. You can see the trees as well as the full moon in the sky.
"Finally" Kero say's flopping stomach first onto the ground.
"That took longer than expected." Tomoyo say's ending the recording.
"You okay kiddo?" Kero asks.
You smile, seeing your mother improved your mood more than you expected even if she was gone as fast as she showed up.
At least now you know what she looked like.
"Come on guys, lets go home."
Tomoyo and Kero stare at you for a moment. They don't know why your so happy.
The past month alone has dwindled the light in your eye's. But along as your happy, They're happy.
The three of you walk back to Tomoyo's car.
But maybe if you stayed for a while longer you could've seen him.
A boy not far from you age sitting on a tree branch ominously. He holds a compass. Its arrow pointing at your direction.
He didn't expect the guardian to pick someone so powerless.
He would have caught the card himself if you hadn't intervened.
But whatever. He get the cards soon anyway.

hellooo everyone :) i hope you like it, this was incomplete for a long time and i did my best to try to get it ready and post it
REMEMBER: english is not my first language

âŠâÛÂ Â àŁ Â âč
It's not that you hate Mason's friends, far from it, but you just... don't fit into their lifestyle.Â
You and Mason have been together for a few months now and yet you still feel out of place in his reality, especially since his friends act like you don't exist. You actually enjoy talking to them and you think they're fun, but it annoys you when they invite Mason to parties as if he were single, or talk about other girls in front of you and even ask Mason's opinion about them.
Mason never made you doubt his feelings for you, but all of this has been building up and making you stressed.
It was Wednesday afternoon and you were at Mason's house working on your computer, Mason had training and he wouldn't be back for another hour. Erik changed today's training time âcause he had an appointment and so Mason would be at Carrington until 7pm. The doorbell ringing startled you, you weren't expecting anyone, not even Mason's family.
You were surprised to see Woody standing at the door of Mason's house with two women behind him, and apparently he thought it was strange that you answered the door.
âY/n, hey, I didnât know you were hereâ Woody spoke and scratched his head, a little embarrassed.
âHello, Woody. Itâs good to see youâ you said and then looked at the two model-like women behind him. âMason is still in Carrington, do you need to talk to him?â
Woody walked up the two steps of the stairs and you let him in, and the two women he was with followed him. Of course, Mason's house is also the house of his best friends.
âYeah, actually we had planned to go to a party today. It's Stella's birthdayâ he pointed to the blonde woman in the red dress, and she smiled at you.
âHappy birthday Stellaâ you smiled at her and turned to Woody again. âHe didn't tell me anything, Mason and I arranged to go out for dinner.â
âWell, he confirmed that he's going to the party, I hope you don't mind leaving dinner for another day.âÂ
âNo, of course not, I'll just wait for him to arrive so I can changeâ you said and pointed to the gym clothes you were wearing.Â
âActually, Y/nâŠâ Woody started with a tone of voice you didn't like.
âAll the seats at the party have been reserved, I can't put any more names on the list, I'm sorryâ the brunette woman spoke for Woody, and you were speechless as the three of them stared at you standing in the middle of the living room in Mason's house.
âYeah, of courseâ you smiled, even though you were angry at Woody for doing the same thing he always did, acting like Mason was still single.Â
âI hope you don't mind Mason going alone, but he's my friend and I really wanted him thereâ Stella said and you agreed. âOh, Woody said you weren't very nice but you are.â
Woody's eyes widened and you glared at him, watching him swallow hard. You smiled fakely at Stella.
âYeah, I don't think Woody is very cool either and I hope he knows thatâ you spoke at the same moment the door opened and Mason walked in, and he heard you talking about Woody. âHave fun tonight.â
You grabbed your computer from the living room table and went upstairs, trying to take a deep breath while knowing everyone was staring at you.
âWoody, what are you doing here, mate?â you heard Mason asking his friend.Â
âIt's Stella's birthday man, you remember how much fun you two had, right?â was the last thing you heard before the bedroom door slammed shut. You took a deep breath once, twice, three times, even though it was difficult.
You were sick of being treated like you meant nothing to Mason, and he wouldn't even tell his friends to stop it, and that was what hurt you the most, he cares so much about his friends that he doesn't realize that you're the one who's getting upset about all this.
You packed your things and put away your computer, there was no way you were going to stay there any longer. You heard laughter from downstairs and it made you even more frustrated with Mason.Â
It wouldn't be nice to leave Mason's house with all of them staring at you in the living room, but you also didn't want to wait until they left, which could take hours. You honestly wanted to cry, but you hated feeling helpless and crying in front of someone, even if it was the person you gave your heart to.
Fuck him and his friends.
âMate, I bought a ticket for a party in Ibiza during the international break, we have to go. I bought your ticket tooâ Woody said to Mason, and you could see that they were sitting on the couch. Mason was in the middle of Woody and Stella.
âI have to ask Y/n if she wants to go and-â
âBro, she hates us and she won't want to go, you have to go alone, it will be fun.â
âYeah, I'll think about itâ Mason spoke softly and you snorted.
âWho knows, maybe I'll go to Ibiza with you guys? Polly can go tooâ Stella said and you walked down the stairs, you didn't want them to see you but it was impossible to leave without being noticed. Mason's gaze went to your bags and he noticed that you were leaving.
âWhere are you going?â he asked but you didnât look at him, you continued towards the exit door. âY/n?ïżœïżœ
Mason followed behind you and closed the door when you were both outside, and finally you looked up at him and he saw the tears in your eyes.Â
âIâm going homeâ you spoke softly and Mason lost focus for a few seconds. âYou can go to the party, I won't stop you from going.â
âYouâre going with me.â
âOh, am I? Iâm sorry, your friend was pretty clear when he said that thereâs no space for me thereâ you said and felt a tear fall, but the last thing you wanted was to cry in front of Mason.
âHe didn't mean it, you were rude to him and said you don't like him and-â
âWhat?â you weren't believing what Mason was saying. It wasn't the first time he defended Woody or Declan or Benny from you, and he never defended you the same way to them, he just accepts what they say about you.
âLook, Woody is one of my best friends, you know that. If you love me, then you should like them too because theyâre my family.â
âYeah, you're right. But maybe they don't love you as much since they don't like me.â
âWhat are you saying?â
âYou always let them say whatever they want about me, Mason. You never stood up for me, ever. How do you think I feel when my boyfriend lets his friends talk about other girls or bring women over to his house while I'm here?â
âThey are my friends.â
âI have friends too, Mason, and they've never disrespected you the way Woody or Declan do to me. I heard Woody saying that you and Stella had fun, do you think it didn't hurt to hear that? They don't think I'm enough for you?â
âI love you, that's enoughâ Mason spoke with his hands in his hair, huffing.
âYeah, only in your dreams will I spend the rest of my life putting up with this.â
âDon't go away, let's talk, there's no reason to make this drama, loveâ Mason tried to pull you away but you pushed his arm away, shaking your head. âY/n, please, let's go inside.â
âNo, Mason. You donât understandâ you said frustratedly, finally crying and sobbing. âI don't want to hear any more bullshit about other women while I'm around. I don't want to know who you were with before me, they have no respect for me and you don't do anything about it. Declan cheats on Lauren all the time and encourages you to do the same, you think I don't feel stupid? He's a jerk and she should dump him, and it hurts me when you don't say anything about it because you're their child's godfather and you think it's funny that he has been cheating on her the whole time.â
âI don't think itâs funny.â
âSo you hide very well that you care about her or Judeâ you wiped your eyes, looking at Mason who looked sad. âI really think you're not ready for a relationship, maybe you really love your friends and theyâre your priority, but the Mason I knew is not this guy in front of me.â
âHey, no, câmon, I love you, I didn't know you felt that way.â
âExactly, you care more about them than me.â
You turned your back and Mason tried to pull you towards him, but you refused and cried as you walked away. You looked at him one last time and saw Mason's eyes full of tears, but you chose to turn around and leave.
âY/, donât go, please.â
âWhen you realize what's wrong we can talk again.â
Mason watches in shock as you get into an Uber without looking back, it's like he's trapped in a nightmare but he can't do anything because he's tied up. He stood there for several minutes staring at the street until he felt raindrops and went into the house, hearing Woody and the women's laughter as soon as he entered.
âMase, you can change your clothes now so we can go, what do you think?â Stella asked, but Mason's mind was far away. He looked at Woody sitting on the couch with Polly sitting on his lap, and for the first time in months Mason realized the reasons that made you leave.
âI'm not going, you can goâ he muttered before turning his back and heading towards the stairs.
âMate, what do you mean? Y/n told us to go and have funâ Woody said and Mason turned his face in time to see his friend get up from the couch and walk towards him.Â
âShit, Woody, she broke up with me. Please go away now, I donât want you here for nowâ Mason realized that you really did leave. He needs to be stuck in his own misery for a while.Â
âThat's why we should go out, man, so you can forget about her, like old times.â
âGet out.â
âWhat the fuck?â Woody really wasn't understanding Mason, and it pissed him off, because now everything was obvious and Mason was the only idiot who didn't realize he was losing you. âWhat did Y/n say about me? She's an idiot, don't pay attention to her.â
âDon't you dare talk about her like that againâ Mason pointed a finger at Woody, who was startled by Mason's tone. âGet out of here, all of you.â
Mason didn't wait for an answer and went upstairs without looking back, he took his phone out of his pocket and called you, but you didn't answer any of the times he called, nor did you even respond to the several messages apologizing that he sent.
Mason threw himself on the bed and sighed, how could he be so stupid? It was all so obvious in front of him, but Mason was more concerned about his friends than the woman he loves.
He called more than twenty times and you didn't answer any of the calls, nor did you respond to his multiple messages apologizing. Mason's heart raced as he thought he may have lost you forever because he was childish and stupid.Â
Panic washed over him and Mason gasped, he ran his hands through his hair in despair and anger. Mason couldn't blame you for deciding to leave, he understands, but saying his heart wasn't hurting was a lie. Mason never felt that way, ever.
A tear ran down his face, then another and then another, and before Mason knew it he was sobbing and thinking about everything you had said to him. It was so stupid that he didn't realize how you felt about Woody or Declan, and Mason couldn't even judge you, because in all these months he really was a terrible boyfriend and only now could he realize it.
He actually let his friends take him to parties, he didn't mind when Woody brought women to him, and Mason never thought about hooking up with them, but now he realized that he wasn't respectful and broke the trust you had in him. And what about Declan? Mason couldn't even think about his best friend having sex with multiple women while he has an amazing person at home waiting for him, plus a son who is the most beautiful child Mason had ever seen.Â
Mason feels ashamed that he never said anything to Declan, and he feels ashamed that he didn't protect Lauren and Jude. And he is ashamed because you donât trust him and broke up with him because of the things he did.Â
âPlease, please, answer me.â
Another rejected call. Mason is about to despair.Â
âŠâÛÂ Â àŁ Â âčÂ
It's been two weeks since you and Mason broke up, and honestly it's been really hard to go through the days without talking to him and trying not to think about him.
You failed every day, of course.
Mason respected the message you sent asking him not to call you, but deep down you wished he hadn't given up. Every day you wonder if he's out partying with Woody, having women all over him and falling in love with the smile you love. It breaks you every time.
âIt's not an exaggeration if he listed all his friends as if they were more important than youâ Kiera murmured while you were lying down watching a movie, she went to your house because she didn't want to sleep alone, her boyfriend was traveling and would be back the next day. âHonestly, I love Mason, maybe this will make him realize what he did wrong and you guys can get back together.â
âYeah, but I think he realized he prefers parties and Woody, he didn't call me anymore.â
âYou asked him not to call you.â
âI know, but that would show me that he cares about me. Am I wrong?â
âOf course.â
 âDo you think I should call him?â
âYou miss him, right? You want him to call you but you asked him not to, he is just doing what you asked and respecting your time, if you are ready to talk, talk to him.â
âYeah, I think you're right.â
But you didn't call, not the next day or the day after that. You knew Mason was traveling with the team because the next game was far away, and you didn't want to take your problems to him.
You missed him so much you could cry. You missed him when you woke up in the morning and missed his kisses on your neck, you missed having breakfast next to him and laughing at his stupid jokes, you missed him bothering you or lying next to you just watching some movie that neither of you paid attention to.
It was very cold in Manchester and the streets were already starting to have Christmas decorations, and that made you happy, it's the best time of the year. You went out for a walk in the late afternoon, the sun was setting and some people were walking along the streets.Â
It was crazy, but you swore you saw Mason's car parked at the pie shop when you were at the door, your favorite in the whole town. Mason also knew how much you liked chocolate pie, and he would always buy you a pie when he passed by.
But it wasn't crazy, âcause Mason came out carrying a box of pie just as you were about to climb the stairs to enter the store. You could have fallen if you weren't holding onto the railing, and Mason's eyes widened when he saw you.Â
He looked so handsome, his hair cropped because of the cut on his head, and he was wearing sweatpants and slippers. You couldn't help but smile when you saw his comfortable clothes.
âDid Ace eat all your sneakers?âÂ
Mason breathed a sigh of relief when you asked, and the smile he gave you melted your heart.Â
âIt would be too much work to put on sneakers, I preferred to go out like thisâ he walked down the two steps and stopped in front of you, your heart raced and you could feel your own hands shaking. Oh my God, it's Mason, why are you nervous?Â
You were silent for a few seconds, but Mason didn't take his eyes off you.
âSo⊠how are you?â you asked, and Mason pulled you aside as a couple walked out of the pie shop. His touch on your arm sent you over the moon, and that was enough for you to realize that the time you needed was over.
âHonestly? I'm a messâ he confessed and you felt a pang of guilt, but you knew he needed that time too. âDo you want to talk here? Are you ready?â
âHum- no, yes, Iâm ready, but I donât want to talk hereâ you spoke and he agreed. âWe can go to my house. Are you going to take the pie to someone?â you pointed to the box in his hands.
âNo, I bought it for myselfâ Mason scratched his head in embarrassment and you raised your eyebrows. âI don't know, chocolate pie reminds me of you and I was missing you.â
âJust like I'm watching Game of Thrones like crazy, then.â
âOh, you said it was boringâ he accused you, grinning, and you shrugged as you followed Mason to the car.
âYou know I only watch âcause of Daenerysâ you stopped next to Mason as he opened the car door for you, his scent reminded you of how much you missed him and you couldn't help but hug him, almost making him drop the pie box.Â
âI wasn't expecting thatâ he murmured as he left a kiss on your hair, hugging you with just one arm and you held his waist tightly, afraid that he would leave. âOh God, I missed you so much.â
âI missed you too, sorryâ you let go of him and smiled, feeling like a part of you was whole again.Â
You walked in silence to your house, and even so it wasn't bad, the smile you both had on your lips already said a lot.Â
âMy mum is missing you, she almost hit me for not taking you to London with me on the international break.â
âDid you tell her what happened?â you asked as you grabbed two plates for you two to eat the chocolate pie that looked delicious.Â
âNo, I said you were busyâ he sighed and shrugged, but Mason still looked wary. âI was a bad boyfriend, Y/n, Iâm sorry.âÂ
âItâs fine.â
âItâs not. I should never have put other things first, you are the most important person to me and I hate myself for disappointing you and making you distrust me.âÂ
You just looked at Mason. He wasn't the same man you left three weeks ago, the man in front of you recognized his own mistakes, and that was clear and enough for you.Â
âI'm sorry for the things you went through, I was an idiot and didn't realize it. I should never have let Woody take those women to my house or treated you the way he did, I should have stood up for you.â
âIt's okay, I forgive you.âÂ
Mason sighed in relief when you approached him, and this time he hugged you so tightly as if he would never let you go.Â
And you didn't want him to let you go again.Â
âI love you. I love you so fucking much, Y/n, oh my God, how did I manage to go three weeks without talking to you or seeing you?â Mason put his hands on your shoulders and shook you, making you laugh.Â
âI had no one to fetch water for me at night.â
âDid you just miss me because of that? I'm taking this pie home and you're not going to eat it.â
âActually, I think we can eat while watching Game of Thrones?â
âI knew you liked the series, you just didn't want to admit it to me.â
Mason took the pie into the living room and you grabbed a blanket from your bedroom, ready to snuggle into it for hours and hours. You walked back into the living room and Mason was smiling on the couch as he waited for you, and you couldn't help but smile and feel like everything was okay again.
Mason hugged you as you laid down next to him, he was warm and comfortable and even you didn't understand how you managed to spend so much time away from him.Â
Mason was your home, and not even so many days away would change that.

âŹâ„ Jealousy

Pablo Gavi x Reader!fem
Synopsis: You have a hidden relationship, but he is very jealous. And Pedri is very close to you lately.
a/n: I don't know how to write obscenity, sorryđ©
REQUESTED
warnings: smut, +18
And sorry if there are mistakes, English is not my language.I hope this is what you asked for!
Her relationship with Gavi was an absolute secret. Your father was close friends with his father, and you both knew that if they found out, everything would get complicated. But that didn't stop them from meeting in secret whenever they could.
However, lately, Gavi had been acting strange. Quieter, more tense... and you knew exactly why: Pedri.
In the last few days, Pedri seemed to always be around you, starting conversations, joking around, and even casually putting his hand on your waist. You didn't see any harm in it, but Gavi... oh, he did.
So that night, when you and Gavi finally got some alone time in his apartment, he couldn't hold back his irritation.
âDo you like it when he touches you?â Gavi asked, his voice thick with jealousy as he stared at you closely, his brown eyes shining with intensity.
âWhat? Of course not, Gavi. Heâs just my friend.â
âThen why do you let him get so close?â He took a step forward, cornering you against the wall.
âYouâre exaggeratingâŠâ
âAm I?â He arched an eyebrow, sliding his fingers down her arm, his touch burning. âThen why do I get so angry when I see him touching you?â
You opened your mouth to respond, but you didn't have time. Gavi grabbed you by the waist and kissed you hard, possessive, showing you exactly who was the only one who could have you like that.
He lifted you up with one hand, your legs wrapping around his waist. Gavi walked calmly to the mattress, laying you both down on it.
âIâll show you,â he whispered against her lips, his breath hot and quick. âIâll remind you who you belong to.â
The room was silent, except for the sound of your heavy breathing and the rustling of the sheets beneath you. The scent of burning candles mixed with Pablo's woody perfume, creating a thick atmosphere, thick with desire.
You were completely at his mercy, your body glued to the mattress as he hovered over you, one hand holding your wrist above your head and the other exploring your skin with slow, torturous touches.
âYou like testing my patience, donât you, abeja?â His voice was a husky growl, his lips hovering millimeters from hers. (bee)
You could feel his warm breath against your mouth, but he refused to kiss you again. He wanted you to beg.
Your body was already on fire just from the way he looked at you â his dark eyes filled with something predatory, his muscles tense, as if he was holding himself back from devouring you all at once.
âSpeak, love. Who makes you feel this way?â His fingers trailed down the curve of her hip, tracing slow, teasing circles.
You gasped, nails digging into the sheets.
" YouâŠ"
He smiled, satisfied.
âThatâs it, good girl.â
The way he said that sent a shiver down your spine. Then, without warning, he slid his fingers inside your panties, touching exactly where you wanted.
You gasped, body automatically arching into his touch.
âSo wet⊠all this just because I got jealous, princesa?â Pablo murmured against the skin of her neck, his teeth grazing there before taking another bite. (princes)
âPabloâŠâ Your moan came out broken as he moved his fingers inside you, slowly, exploring every inch.
He watched your every reaction, his dark eyes fixed on yours as his movements increased in intensity. His thumb found your most sensitive spot, and you moaned loudly, your legs shaking.
âLook at me.â He demanded, his voice husky and full of possession.
You opened your eyes, meeting his hungry gaze.
âI want to see you break for me. I want to hear you say my name as you cum on my fingers.â
The pressure inside you was building too quickly. You gripped his shoulders, your nails digging into his skin as your hips moved against his hand, seeking more.
âThatâs it, love⊠show me who makes you feel this way.ââ
With a few more precise movements, the tension in her belly exploded. Her body arched against his, his name escaping in a loud, hoarse moan.
But Gavi didn't stop.
âDo you think weâre done?â He whispered against her ear, the wicked smile taking over his lips.
His eyes gleamed with something dangerousâand delicious.
Her legs, which were wrapped around his waist, pulled him closer, and felt the hardness of his body pressing against her warm, sensitive skin. Her hands slid down his defined chest, feeling every tense muscle beneath her fingers.
Pablo cupped her chin, tilting her face upwards, his thumb tracing her bottom lip before tugging it lightly.
âLook at me.â His voice was a low, husky growl, filled with authority.
You opened your eyes, meeting his gaze that seemed to burn right through you.
âI want you to remember who you belong to.â
Before you could respond, he slowly slid inside you, eliciting a loud moan from your lips. Your body arched against his, your nails digging into his broad shoulders as he filled every inch of you, marking you from the inside out.
Pabloâs husky moans filled the room as he began to move, slow at first, torturous, wanting you to feel every inch of him.
âso perfect for meâŠâ He murmured against her neck, his warm lips tracing soft, teasing bites as his hips moved in a tantalizing rhythm.
You gripped the sheets tightly, your body already sensitive from the previous pleasure, but the way he took you made every inch of you beg for more.
âFaster, GaviâŠâ You gasped, legs tightening around him.
He smiled against her skin, satisfied with her request, and then held her waist, increasing the pace. His movements became more intense, stronger, making waves of pleasure spread through her body with each thrust.
The sound of their bodies colliding echoed through the room, along with their broken moans. You clung to him, feeling the heat inside you grow rapidly, the pressure building.
âDo you like this, love? Knowing that Iâm the only one who can make you feel like this?â He asked, his voice broken, his dark eyes shining with desire.
âYes⊠just you.â You moaned, head falling back as he tilted his hips at the perfect angle, hitting that sensitive spot inside you.
Pablo cupped her face, forcing their eyes to meet.
âI donât want you to look at anyone else the way you looked at him today. Youâre mine.â
His words pushed you even further over the edge, the possessive tone making your body respond instantly. You moaned loudly, pleasure consuming you, legs shaking around him as your orgasm hit you hard.
He grunted, feeling you tighten around him, and his rhythm became erratic. He gripped your waist tightly, burying himself deep before coming undone inside you, his breathing heavy against your neck.
The room was silent for a few seconds, only the sound of heavy breathing filling the air.
Pablo slid to the side, pulling you against his chest, his fingers tracing slow, lazy circles on your sweaty skin.
âI love you.â He murmured, a satisfied smile playing on his lips.
Her body was still trembling from the pleasure, but upon hearing his words, a shiver ran down her spine.
âI love you too, my player.â

retail hell reader is being bothered by an uncomfortably friendly customer and tf141 handle it in their own ways.
warnings: female!reader (she/her pronouns) isnât being overtly harassed but you know when a man is being too interested and too friendly? its that. egregious use of scots as inspired by still game, pet names âloveâ, âhenâ and âbonnie girlâ used to refer to f!reader.
word count: 1.5k
pairings: kyle garrick x reader, john mactavish x reader, simon riley x reader, john price x reader.
each reader x named character interaction should be read as a standalone but i stuck them all together as they were too short to post individually in my opinion.
- -
this customer is making you nervous as fuck. you don't think you've been inappropriate with him in any way, just polite and friendly as you sorted out his refund. the problem is that he's massive, easily taller than simon by a couple of inches and he keeps looming over you blaming his difficulty understanding english as to why he keeps getting closer and closer. he's practically mounting the customer service desk to peer down at you (and you have a horrible feeling he's trying to get a look down your polo top).
you're beginning to panic so you do the only thing you think to do (which admittedly is pretty stupid looking back on it) and make your excuses to leave the customer service desk to find one of your friends. or at least find a colleague who will act as a witness if this guy gets any creepier.
gaz handles it like a champ. as soon as he spots the creep following you around he's there. arm around your shoulders and tucking you into his side at the kitchen consultant's desk. his customer service smile is fixed on his face and he refuses to even acknowledge this giant arsehole of a man, just keeps talking to you softly and shows you the kitchen heâs working on. kyleâs beautiful brown eyes only briefly leave your face so he can point out another favourite part of his design, he never once looks over at the creep. it works to soothe you, especially being so close to him. after ten minutes of being blatantly ignored, the creep walks off muttering under his breath. hopefully heâs left the store but unfortunately itâs around that time that kyle has a couple walk up to him asking him if heâs free for a drop in consultation. before he agrees he checks in with a gentle âyou alright if i take this appointment, yeah? come straight back if that guy is still hanging around. iâll deal with him.â he looks so serious you believe him. you reassure him that youâll be fine and he gives your arm a gentle squeeze before you separate from his warmth already missing the slightly woody scent of his cologne. before youâre completely out of earshot you hear the couple cooing over how cute kyle was with you and his reply of âwell, itâs not exactly hard when sheâs one of my favourite colleaguesâŠâ and the fondness in his voice makes your cheeks heat up.Â
-
johnny nearly trips over you as youâre crouched behind the paint desk. âsteaminâ jesus, whatâre ya daeinâ under there hen?â you hush him quickly and silently with a finger raised to your lips. you donât want to speak because you know the giant is still out there looking for you, you thought youâd given him the slip near the paint brushes but then heâd rounded the end of the aisle so you darted for the relative safety of the paint desk. johnny crouches down next to you and whispers âare we hidinâ from someone? is it simon?â you shake your head and go to answer him but then your blood runs cold as you hear that familiar accented voice. âexcuse me? i was wondering if you might help, iâm looking for the frĂ€ulein who was helping me?â johnny shoots a look at you and you squish yourself further into the corner of the desk hoping against hope that johnny wonât give you away. thankfully, johnny straightens up from behind the desk with his most charming customer service grin âsorry pal, iâve noâ seen her. âs only me on the desk the day.â the creep sounds nonplussed at johnnyâs thick glaswegian accent (youâve certainly never heard it ramped up like that in all the times youâve spoken with him) and a little crestfallen when he starts to reply with âoh, perhaps youâd be good enough to -â johnny interrupts him, voice still pitched in a friendly manner but you can hear an undercurrent of tension ânaw, sorry pal. iâm busy pitinâ the hems oan the tins. is there anythinâ i can dae fer ye mixinâ wise?â thereâs a moment of silence and you watch johnnyâs smile slowly slip off his face, his lips thinning into a stern line. âah, um. no thank you. perhaps she will find me.â the creep sounds a little nervous now if the uncomfortable laugh he lets out is any indication. âaye right. well iâd best be lettinâ you get oan then eh?â johnny shifts on his feet slightly so his calf brushes up against your arm. after another tense moment you hear the lumbering footsteps of the giant move away from the desk. johnny looks down at you with a mischievous grin, âiâve got to say bonnie girl, you look a right sight down there.â you only feel a little bit bad when you punch him lightly in the leg and he yelps in shock as the blush on your cheeks spreads down your neck.Â
-
simon is less than impressed when you duck under the chain across the warehouse doors and flatten yourself against the noticeboard out of view from the shop floor. âyou stupid? chains up which means the forklift is out so you need to be too.â heâs pissed off and thinking about how much paperwork heâll have to fill out now because you didnât bother to think about the cameras in your dash for safety. he takes a big step towards you before swerving off to the side to block the customer that has just appeared at the chain. âthe fuck do you want?â he practically snarls. âthis isnât the fucking caff.â simon squares his shoulders and glares at the oversized dickhead thatâs wasting his time. âwell? canât you fuckinâ read? staff access only. and youâre not staff so fuck off.â simon barks at the man, not letting him get a word in edgewise to start bitching about stock or whatever it is that he wants. simon couldnât give a shit, he just wants the customer (and you) to fuck off promptly so he can start moving pallettes around. the customer just blinks and takes several steps back before turning away. you let out a shaky sigh and thank simon quietly. simon hums in acknowledgement and sweeps a critical eye down your lightly trembling form. âhe botherinâ ya?â at your nod he hums again before jerking his head towards the back of the warehouse âgo put a hi-vis on and sit in the office, iâll come get you when iâm done on the âlift.â. when simon comes back into the office two paper cups of tea in hand thirty minutes later, you offer him a small smile and catch his lips twitch up briefly before he turns away to plunk his cup down on top of a cluttered filing cabinet.Â
-
price practically walks into you as you come flying around the end of the plumbing aisle. itâs unusual to see you so far away from the customer service desk and looking so flustered. âalright, love?â his hand is on your elbow as he asks. you crane your neck round to look behind you, too worried about that customer to enjoy his large warm hand on your bare skin. price straightens up and drops his hand away from you when he spots a customer behind you, in his opinion the customer is moving a little too fast to be considered casual. price bristles slightly when he catches the dark look on the gentlemanâs face. oh no, he doesnât like the look of this one at all. especially when you look at price and mouth âhelpâ quickly. price steps forward and puts you at his back, blocking the creep from getting any closer. âcan i help you, mate?â his gruff voice is just shy of sounding friendly and you watch his back muscles shift under the black polo top heâs wearing. âno thank you, i wanted to speak with the little woman some more.â god the customer is weird, you shudder a little at being referred to as a âlittle womanâ. price shifts to block the customerâs view of you more fully as he does you notice the back of priceâs neck has gone a little red. ânot possible. i need her for a job.â priceâs words sound like theyâre being ground out through gritted teeth in response. âiâm sure simon would be more than willing to help you.â you jolt a little when you spot simon at the customerâs shoulder. a man shouldnât be able to move so silently in steel toed safety boots. you catch a brief wince flicker across the customerâs face when simonâs hand comes down on his shoulder, slightly too hard to be entirely polite. âah, um, yes. perhaps thatâs for the best.â simon leads the customer away and you step up beside price to thank him. he looks deadly serious when he turns to face you âany time love.â his stern blue stare softens slightly and youâre sure you catch his gaze flicker to your mouth briefly before he clears his throat and turns away âcâmon then. back to the returns desk with you.â.Â
- -
AN: i have very much hidden from customers in the warehouse and behind the paint desk at B&Q. donât be like reader (or me) and hide in the goods-in area, you will get shouted at for it.Â
translation for johnnyâs scots: âpitinâ the hems oanâ = putting the hems on, meaning to put something in order or to restrain something/someone.

KAI CHISAKI - relationship headcannons

Wc- 1.6k not proofread
Hes an intresting one, sorry for any mischaracterization, I try to be as close to cannon as possible (or as close as i can considering chisaki being in a romantic relationship is very ooc.)
Love language - giving:
Physical touch: he isn't afraid of touch, he knows that heâll have to use his quirk and by proxy touch someone when needed (example: healing kurono, convincing rappa to join), he just⊠Doesn't like it.
If you're fine without physical touch, yippie!!!
And if you are like me, someone whos main love language is physical touch, this would be a rather tricky endeavor for him. Heâll opt for touching you only when he knows you're clean. And it would be fleeting touches at most, moving your hair, or putting his hand on your shoulder. I think (more so hope) that he would ruffle or play with your hair once he's gotten more accustomed to physical touch- fresh out the shower. He likes the smell of your clean scented hair
Off topic (?) but I feel like he prefers woody, maybe minty and clean fragrances. I think heâd enjoy re-aranging both your shower items (shampoo, conditioner, body wash etc. ) to smell like each other , whether it be subtle or smelling the exact same. For example i really like fruity berries, so heâd probably adopt a woody-grapefruit fragrance, if you like vanilla, heâd adopt a bourbon vanilla scent. I dunno anything about mens fragrances. Also the highest quality hygienic items. Oh yeah if you're sick heâd overhaul you and make you better. Normally he wouldn't gaf but since your his partner he actually cares about your well being.
Acts of service: probably one of his strongest suits. Do you need something?- His lackeys are already doing it for you. You forgot something at the store? Don't worry, Setsunos is on his way to buy it. I think the idea of having Setsuno accompany you to go shopping and being ordered to steal anything you look at for too long is silly, and one I like. Youâve been craving something after a long hard day? Surprise!
probably has an assigned lackey, chauffeur and bodyguard just for you just for you. If you show the slightest disdain for them he isn't afraid to overhaul them, something you learned the hard way. I feel like some of the hassaikai would be fighting to be one of your assigned workers as you aren't as ruthless as Kai. He prefers to be the one accompanying you (unless it's dirty work) however, he's very busy. Is very happy to indulge in folding laundry, organizing the house or planning a date night. Probably organizes your stuff for you
OH YEAH, reaches for the tall cabinet for you (only applies if your short, #me)
Words of affirmation: something hes also very good at. Heâs very charming and is good at improv, business deals and negotiations. Him speaking his genuine adoration for you isnt going to be difficult for him. He doesn't sugar coat things, heâll speak whats on his mind. Kind of negative as he wont hesitate to insult you or be nit-picky, but plus side is that his compliments are genuine. I don't think he would outright say things like âi love youâ often, moreso compliment you or say protective (?) things. âYou're better than themâ, âDon't do that, youâll get dirty, have *insert lackey* do that for youâ, âtheres no need to exhaust yourself for that, i'll do itâ. This is due to his emotonal constipation. Also doesn't use pet names đ though will use a nickname
Quality time: if your getting him to put his work aside that says alot about your relationship. His time is precious and he doesn't like wasting it on nonsense. Makes up for his lack of physical affection (if one of your main love language is physical affection) with quality time. Enjoys going on walks with you. Also enjoys teaching / playing shogi with you. Unfortunately he wont be doing cheesy things with you. However, will indulge in any intellectual/technical (?) conversations. Have a favorite piece of media? Discuss (or yap about) the writing and characters with him. Like the foreshadowing in aot, how the spider verse changed animation, or how arcane/lol is really good at writting and paying attention to small details? He is very attentive and listens to everyword you say. Would also read a book or two of your favorites. (Prefers books out of any piece of media).
Gift giving: speaking of, will get you things you want. Doesn't matter wether you're saying it directly or looking at it for too long. The hassaikai may be in need of money, but he has enough his ways (cough cough setsunos larceny). Matching earingsâŠ
I think he would pick out a book for you to read using his prior knowledge of your intrests. This ties in with quality time but if you arent a book person then he would explain the book to you. Theres no point in getting you somthing you arent going to use.
Love language - receiving :
Physical touch: yeah sorry no, unless he initiates it. Its going to take a long time before hes find with you doing it unprompted.
Okay being delusional and out ooc: might be fine with you cuddling up to him at night or clinging to him when your scared.
Acts of service: i feel like hes a big acts of service guy, but at the same time he doesn't want you doing dirty and then getting dirty. Hes also a very picky guy. So I guess small things like tidying up the living space, organizing his things for him, or handing him his coat before he heads out for day.
Words of affirmation: your words mean more than others to him. Actually takes what you say into consideration and wont take it as disrespect if you point out a flaw in his mindset (like kurono and him talking about bringing the yakuza to glory again). Hes pretty and he knows that. But when you call him pretty and fawn it has him feeling things lololol. Will stare at you as you yap about how pretty he is. Will let you use pet names behind closed doors, just dont use them with subordinates (its fine with pops, kurono and maybe rikiya) You do have to refer to him as overhaul during shie hassaikai arc though :(
Quality time: not much new to say, doesn't really want you getting involved in dirty work.
Gift giving: likes useful things that will improve his quality of life. Hes also fine with jewelry or books. Ooooh maybe buy him custom high quality shogi peices or smth!!!
GENERAL:
I don't think heâd get jealous, more so annoyed. He views himself as above most others. If anyone tries anything on you (or steps on his turf) heâll overhaul them.
Matches with you, not cute sweatshirts but subtle things, like matching earings or your clothing. Gold and purple jewelry and a green top of your choosing !!! ăœ(â§ââŠ)ïŸ.
I think heâd enjoy when you seek him out for protection. Hes your personal night in shinning armor! Just don't call him that because he doesn't wanna be called a hero.
Possessive, in an objectifying way, your his and his alone. His superiority complex yk?
Never been in a relationship before, so isn't completely sure how to act at first, but hes smart and gets the hang of things. This also has to do with the fact that you two will get to know each other before engaging in a romantic relationship.
I don't really think heâd listen to music, I guess hes fine with classical or traditional.
Wears his surgical mask with you instead of his plague one.
Would prefer you to be quirkless, but is fine with you having a quirk (especially if you work in the yakuza behind him), itâd preferably be something he finds useful.
I dont think heâd be so traditionally romantic, I guess there's hints of tradition and class but just a bit.
Big spoon (despite not cuddling often)
Not big on pda
I dont think he'd confess moreso things just.. Hapen
CHILDREN
OKAYâŠ. I want children so im talking about childrenâŠâŠ UhmmmâŠâŠ.
He doesn't like them, they're dirty and don't know how to behave. And considering Eri, he couldn't give less of a fuck about blood relation. He would prefer his spawn over others because he gets to mold and shape his in whatever way he wants. This means the best schools and training so the little thing can succeed the hassaikai. Heâd be absent for the first chunk of the child's life (ie yucky toddler). Heâd really only interact with the child once they've become smarter and able to graso bigger concepts. This is when heâd essentially teach and mentor them. I dont think heâd really indulge in childish things with his child. He would leave that up to the other hassaikai. This obviously would cause them to have a bad relationship. I dont think they would consider chisaki their father. Im not saying the child would have a bad life, considering the other parent is active in their life, and they would probably find their own father figure in the hassaikai, and their quality of life is pretty nice. Its just that chisaki himself isn't really involved in the fatherhood aspect. Thats keeping cannon in mind.
However if you wanna live in a delusional domestic family life that's very ooc, i dont think heâd discipline his kid. Not because his kid is better (but they are), but because he has like no experience with kids and isnt sure if hes going to go too far. He grew up in the yakuza not a functional family (in the slighest). And doesn't want his child to hate him, cus in this au he actually cares. The same thing about best quality school and teaching applies. But this time heâd be more involved.
Heâd teach his child shogi as their bonding time.

Catch up tag
Thank you so much for tagging me @somanywords! <333
Favorite color: Always & forever: International Klein Blue. In general, I gravitate towards rich, strong colors.
Last song: I think it was this one:
Last book: Oh, a German novel, actually! Die Unverhofften by Christoph NuĂbaumeder. A 700-page history of a fictional Bavarian family spanning the entire 20th century. I'm enjoying it a lot. Peculiar prose, but not necessarily in a bad way, and at times a little didactic, but I will freely admit that I've mostly read these kinds of multi-generational novels (which I love) told from an East German perspective, so I don't really mind all that much.
Last movie: In my annual panicked sprint towards the Oscars deadline, I gorged myself on so many movies in February that I got completely burned out, and I haven't actually seen any since the beginning of March. I think? Also, so. many. tv shows. So I think the last one I saw was A Complete Unknown. A competently made movie, Timmy Chardonnay does an ok job as Dylan, but honestly, I found every single other character more interesting than the one it was actually about. (Monica Barbaro is magnificent as Joan Baez, and Scoot McNairy and Edward Norton as Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger are incredibly moving. They kind of stole the movie out from under the anointed Prince of Hollywood.)
Last TV show: God so many.
Still slooowly making my way through Succession. Watched episode 4x08 ("America Decides") just last night, which must have hit hard in 2023 already, but watching it in 2025...fucking bleak. Absolutely bone-chilling.
The White Lotus, which is the first show that made me understand the concept of "background watching." It's essentially a very silly, very glossy soap opera with great actors portraying terrible people doing and saying terrible and often ridiculous things in beautiful locations. The season finale was...not great. If I were more invested or took this show seriously in any way, I guess I would've been pretty bummed out by it, but as things are, I merely shrugged. See you next year in the Maldives, I guess. Or wherever Mike White wants to play dolls next.
Adolescence. As technically impressive as it is emotionally devastating. Writing, directing, acting, cinematography--it's all breathtakingly well done. Aside from one minor misstep at the very end--and it is a minor one, but it gives in to a more sentimental and therefore more manipulative mode of storytelling that the show so bravely, so impressively resisted up until then--this is as close to perfection as you can get in telling such a difficult story within the format of a four-episode limited series.
The Studio. I love this show and am enjoying the hell out of it every week, but I'm also wondering who it is for? Don't get me wrong, the intersection of art/business/gossip in Hollywood is absolute catnip to me, but how many "normal" people actually get more than half of the jokes on this very inside baseball show? Then again, this is on Apple tv+ and broad appeal or profitability (of their streaming service at least) doesn't really seem to be a concern for them.
The Pitt. As an old ER head this just hits the spot for me. Full of good, competent characters trying their very best in a fucked-up system. It's not a very subtle show and occasionally it gets VERY clunky when it wants to impart a lesson or send a message, but honestly? Maybe that's what this world needs right now. It's very well-made tv that is also unashamedly sincere. I can't hate on that.
Sweet/Savoury/Spicy: All three, please.
Relationship status: I have my person.
Last thing I googled: "How to get rid of mealybugs," which have apparently infected the small pine tree on my little roof terrace⊠:(
Looking forward to: I will be traveling to Macedonia next month for a wedding and then spending a week there afterwards. Very exciting!
Current obsessions: Oh, you know. The usual. Steve. Bucky. SteveandBucky.
I don't want to be a coward, so I'm tagging: @vuesfluides, @dharmasharks, @burninblood, @maplefiasco, @ethicalhorseslaughter, @burberrycanary, @village-skeptic, but PLEASE if anyone else sees this and feels like doing it, I would love to read your answers! I'm always so late with these things and I don't want to annoy anyone, but I'm really very interested in what other people are reading/watching/listening to!

A CRESCENT LOVE, AN EPHEMERAL PASSION | joão félix sequeira.
summary: you and joĂŁo spent all the summer together. you even met his friends and brother. could this be the beginning of a crescent love or just an ephemeral passion? his friendship with his ex would ruin everything between the two of you?
author's notes: after the win against luxemburgo, where portugal national team set the record of goals, his ex just posted "mysterious" pics with floki, his dog. joĂŁo was also there, almost hidden, actually. we all know she always does it, never assuming anything maturely, but instigating the frustration of the fans who care about him and to make every gossip website and tv show talk about it, just like a teenager who wants attention would act. basically, this inspired me. i really don't hate anyone, by the way. even thought influencers who don't spread any impactful content and nepobabies with no talent and only standard beauty annoys me, i can't lie.
warnings: bad language (of course it's joĂŁo saying the words), chaotically humorous almost all the time, but also involving sadness and angst. implicit sex reference, i guess? maybe?
what do you feel when you hear my name? shame? embarrassment?
does your brain even bring you any sign or memory involving me?
do you ever think about me?
are your moments with her comparable to ours?
can we talk? can we communicate?
is it my fault? do you miss me?
your head was drunk for the whirlwinds of questions that piled up and get bigger, like waves. they seemed to be drowning you. the glowing light and peace of your woody brown gaze gives you triggers. his smile remains embedded, in your heart, an eternal home. the numbness and wrapping of his lips, every inch of his tanned skin and firm muscles being appreciated and admired by you. his hair was shiny, soft and full by the salty waters of the european beaches: always caressed for you. his laughs at you giving him the most silly and lazy hairstyles, with you pretending to be a professional who was filming your customer to tiktok.
âdo that pose! yes, your hand against your face! now, give me that playboy eye. just like that! youâre doing amazing, sweetie!â
when you get carried away in the game âwho am i?â and tried so hard doing the mimes, jumping excitedly and demonstrating your animation in a loud tone, before covering your own mouth and feigning naturalness, just to repeat the same instant acts.
when you made joĂŁo watch your random dances as soon as you won at uno and heâd tell how hilarious you were. when you cooked your regional foods and desserts for fĂ©lix, his brother whoâs hugo, alex â the photographer â diogo from the movemind channel and all of his friends. when he used to hold your face, rest his touch on your waist and thighs. tracing his fingerprints across your scalp, reveling in the ethereal smell of your hair, laying his lips against your entire face and stature, exalting you completely: from your ears, neck, collarbone, belly, legs and even your feet. being a gentleman, joĂŁo opened the car door for you, he intertwined the hands of you both in every single opportunity and helped you eat: having the cutlery for you to open your mouth and giving you support with the napkin. when you did his goal celebration. when the two of you invented a handshake, along with various inside jokes. for example, when joĂŁo posted many videos of him swimming and playing in the ocean.
âhey, flounder! âthe little mermaidâ? i loved it!â
âwhy am i not your ariel, tho?â
âwhy you didnât say youâd prefer to be eric of the real life?â
âgive me some respect, iâm the protagonist of this shit!â
âslay, king!â
you remember singing the songs that played in his car in the most chaotic way, using his hand as a microphone and taking the opportunity to kiss all over it and his fancy bracelets. you offered him affection biting his skin and enjoyed acting like his personal masseuse. you called him âmy prince of portugalâ.
âplease, donât become a stranger.â your last words, face to face. the intensity of the summer weeks of vacation, which were already ending, consuming you.
âyou know iâd never do that. look, youâre such a unique person, and even though weâre gonna go back to our busy routines, i still wanna keep you in my life. i still wanna be that close to you.â joĂŁo declared and they both found comfort in each otherâs arms. his perfume granted the beg leave and penetrated your lungs, giving you life. you felt like you shouldnât let it go, but there was nothing else to accomplish. you were single, so was he. you ask yourself if everything would be different. maybe if you had tried your lips once again: asking him to give a chance to them, to have more. to not leave what you went through, together, in the box of forgotten memories. would that really suffice, though?
"it's obvious that youâd choose the blonde influencer with light eyes, slender body and member of a rich family. the one who was with a formula 1 racer days before she went to meet you. before you just disappear from my life, without saying anything. the one that doesn't show an ounce of authenticity and, of course, affective responsibility. who am i in comparison to her?! right, joĂŁo?" your voice flashed the disparity of fragility and indignation, trembling hands clutching the phone.
ây/n, listen to me. youâd never understand it, okay? youâre not inside this relationship, me and her are. youâre seeing it from the outside, just like everyone else. yeah, she was hanging out and making out with other people. so was i with you. but then, some things changed.â john seemed to be busy. echoes of other people's voices ran through the call.
ânothing has happened between us since the vacation, joĂŁo. what doesnât make sense because i thought you were liking me. i only think about you!â you vented out and received silence. his answers tried to become existent and complete. he stammered, the audible sound of his familiar backwards cap being pulled off and his honey-colored hair being rubbed against his own fingerprints.
âdo you think i donât like you? holy shit, y/n. i even thought we could have so much more. a future together and everything. i think about you and i swear in the name of my family, and i already said that they mean the fucking world to me. the thing is: thereâs something that still keep me going back to her. i donât know if itâs because iâm with her since i was younger, butâŠâ
âjoĂŁo, this is emotional dependence. iâm sorry to tell you this, however, itâs necessary. i care about you. youâre so internally and externally beautiful, precious, successful and talented. you deserve better!â you interrupted him, stepping back and forth.
ây/n, i love her. when i looked at youâŠâ
âsheâs all that you see, right?â
âhm⊠yeahâŠâ fĂ©lix found himself in a bind. paralyzed, he remained without an answer for a while. the coldness of the material of his gold necklace touches his tongue: a way to combat the nervousness that generates the gnawed nails.
âmy toxic behavior wants to help and fix you so badly, but i know i canât get more involved than that. iâm not the one for you.â the words reproduced by yourself reinforced the fragmentation of your heart.
âj, baby⊠are you coming or not? iâm waiting for you, floki is waiting for his dad!â you heard that female voice call to him and realized the way that just this factor made his breathing destabilize.
âi think this is officially the end of whatever we had, joĂŁo. goodbye!â your voice was unstable and he realized it: sharp as deep, transparent and suffocating waters.
âi wish you the best, y/n. i apologize for not being what you expected, what you needed, andâŠâ
âcaralho, joĂŁo! que merda! (holy fuck, joĂŁo! what the hell?). come on, give me your phone!â the girl began to rant. her heels against the floor were exclamatory. she was running out of patience.
the call is over. again, you were superimposed on the ocean of blazing tears. you tried to convince yourself that everything went the way it was supposed to be.
but was it for real?

Tw: negative criticism (I need to get this off my chest)
I'm rewatching the whole Toy Story franchise again and today I watched the fourth movie. I remember I cried in the cinema and that it had a bad ending (woody left his toy family behind) but oh boy I don't remember it being that bad
I remember I cried and spent around 1 or 2 hours until I got home (the cinema is 1 hour away from my house and me and my family even went out for dinner) upset and sad because of the ending, but I don't remember it being that bad
Gosh Bo Peep was so different from the og movies. Ok I get that she didn't had much personality back then, but they didn't had to make her so hard to deal with, oh my god. She is mean to Woody and acts like he's stupid almost all the time, and not her, neither all the other characters, thought about his pov not even for a split second??! And in the end they convinced him to leave behind everything he had ever fought for?! And his family?!?! To stay with her???!? Her???1?!?!?1?! I can't stand her character! And I tried to!
All the Toy Story movies talk about how being with a child is the toys purpose, and the fourth movie decided to go against that. You can argue about how emotional attachment is dangerous and etc but we're talking about toys. Toys in this universe WANT to stay with owners/children, they want to belong to a kid, and that mf Bo Peep convinced Woody to leave that behind wtf. Leaving your whole family behind to stay with someone who is MEAN TO YOU and that you haven't seen for 10+ years is so damn wrong. Even if he left the other toys just for the lifestyle of "being free" this goes against everything this franchise ever spoke about!!! Woody didn't needed a new character arc, his character arc was made in the first movie! Jessie did! She's still afraid of boxes, and her PTSD is so bad that I think that could be better explored as a subplot in a movie.
I hate that the other characters didn't even appeared in the movie to give space to new, annoying characters (I'm talking about Gabby and Bo Peep, even though she's not new, she is extremely different and mean now). I remember Forky being annoying but actually he's kinda nice, I mean, of course Disney tried to make him a new "Olaf" to make the movie more popular and that bothers me, but after the scenes with Woody and Forky I learned to like how he was written.
And Gabby, oh god. I hate her too. It's not other's fault that you didn't lived the life you wanted to. You don't need to take from others what you couldn't have, you need to accept that you have flaws and learn to understand that your value is not based on stuff like this. In her case, not based in her voice box, it's based on how much a child would love her/how much she could help a child to develop and grow up. That's the toys role in that franchise. Damn how I hated everything she did in the movie and hated even more the fact that she also convinced Woody to give away his voice box. Woody's signature quote is "there's a snake in my boot". I made a joke while watching the movie saying that "woody would have a heart attack if he didn't annouced he had a snake in his boot at least once" and despite that being funny I mean it, you can't just write a character, make people get attached to stuff that's part of him and take that stuff from him to say that he "matured". No wtf his voice box is his. Woody was literally afraid of it being taken from him at the start of the movie. Fuck Gabby Gabby, you were made 80 years ago and you didn't accepted the fact that you unfortunately came with your voice box broken. Ok, unfortunate! But you shouldn't try to blackmail/force/kidnap people to make them give THEIRS TO YOU! AND WOODY WAS CONVINCED TO DO IT AT THE END! AAATRRRRGGHHRHAHAHAGSGHZBBBDN
YOU NEED TO LEARN HOW TO LOVE YOURSELF FOR WHO YOU ARE!
Honestly I hope the 5th movie will fix everything, I'm praying for it. Make the toys somehow go back to Bonnie, make Bo Peep act more friendlier towards everyone cuz she's simply unbearable and get Woody a new voice box. And never show Gabby again, thanks. Please.

All right...for those of you who don't know my thoughts about Wish, yes, I wasn't happy with the finished result, but no, I'm not a hater. I'm mostly just disappointed that this project that had so many good ideas came out so half-baked, and THIS is a perfect example of what I mean.
No, it's not because "Star Boy" appears in it -- at least, not by itself. I do actually like Star's "himbo" personality in this, even if I also completely understand liking the idea of a mute version of the character. (The downside is that the mute Star from the finished film honestly doesn't have much personality outside of just being cute, in contrast to other mute magical Disney characters like Tinker Bell.)
No, the lost potential here is two-fold --
Firstly, I once again felt more emotion watching this storyboarded sequence than I did at any point in the finished film. I smiled hearing the fun banter between Star and Asha, insinuating that they're becoming closer despite their contrasting personalities; I felt some suspense in how Star and Asha were going to get away from evil!Queen Amaya; I even laughed pretty hard at the cat-and-yarn gag! I didn't laugh once while watching the finished movie.
Secondly -- and this point is actually the one I want to focus on more -- is the commentary given about why this scene was cut. I truly think another unspoken reason behind the decision was that this sequence was clearly inspired by the transforming chase scene in Nimona, which Disney of course infamously dropped when they closed Blue Sky Studios and later got picked up by Netflix, only to receive glowing reviews from just about everyone...but one of the core reasons that Head of Story Mark Kennedy cites for why they changed this scene (aside from wanting Star to be mute and not a shapeshifter like other Disney characters, which I'm a bit confused about because yeah, Disney's done cute, mute non-human characters before too -- what about Dopey, Pascal, Maximus, Dumbo, Bambi, Magic Carpet, Sven, and again Tinker Bell?) is that they wanted Asha to be the hero and be able to "solve all her problems" without Star's help.
Up to a point, I understand what Kennedy means -- the theme of the film is supposed to be that we all have the power inside of us to make a difference, and that's great. But by making it so that Asha doesn't need any help from Star, it takes something away from their relationship. No human is an island, and relationships, both in stories and real life, are often built on that fact. Just look at Ariel and Eric in the original Little Mermaid -- Ariel saves Eric from drowning and from Ursula zapping him with Triton's trident, and then Eric saves Ariel from Ursula by skewering her with the broken figurehead of a ship. Even in non-romantic examples, we have Judy and Nick having to help each other solve the case in Zootopia; Buzz and Woody helping each other get back to Andy in Toy Story; the Parr family and Frozone all fighting together against Syndrome's robot with their unique powers in The Incredibles; Jim Hawkins and Long John Silver working together to save themselves and everyone else at the end of Treasure Planet; even Anna helping Elsa learn how to control her magical abilities through an act of authentic, courageous, selfless love that only she can do in Frozen. These characters needing help and deep emotional connections with others is what creates a bond between them, helps the characters grow and change into stronger people, and makes us as an audience enjoy watching the two characters together. We become invested in both the two individual characters and the relationship forged between them. Because they all have their unique strengths and weaknesses, they supplement and complete each other. Even perfect paragon Superman in most DC properties isn't an island -- when he's in the Justice League, there are plenty of times where he needs help from Batman or other team members to save the day. Even Superman is a stronger character when he has people around him who can balance out his flaws.
If Asha never needs help, that runs the risk of the challenges she's facing seeming far less consequential, because no human can handle absolutely everything, all by themselves. Yes, perhaps in the finished film, Asha asks her friends to help her liberate the wishes (a task which ultimately fails, leaving Asha to confront Magnifico alone again and realize exactly what everyone has to do to defeat him on her own anyway)...but just in regards to Star and Asha's relationship -- which even the filmmakers have said is something like a "soulmate" relationship, though not in a romantic sense in the finished product -- these two can't have a meaningful connection if one of them is completely self-sufficient. This is also why quite a few Disney fans didn't like that the Little Mermaid remake changed Ursula's defeat to have it be Ariel who killed her, rather than Eric, because it hurt the "equal" dynamic between the main couple where they both helped and supported each other.
In short, "girl power" shouldn't have to mean never needing to rely on anyone else...and honestly, looking at this scene concept, we don't see Asha relying on Star too much! She's the brains of the outfit -- she's making plans; she's providing Star some much needed common sense; she's using Star's light as a distraction so they can get away...she even escapes Amaya at one point by sliding right under her horse! Asha in this storyboard is a bad-ass!
What we see in this sequence is these two characters having to help each other in order to succeed. And that would've been a great foundation on which to build more dramatic stakes and a relationship with actual pathos, whether romantic or not.

Neil McCauley and Vincent Hanna are the only two people on the planet quite like each other. In the world of this picture, only the two of them are fully aware and conscious of who they are. And that understanding, when I had it during the writing of the last image of the picture, is what made the whole rest of the picture come together and thatâs when I decided to make Heat. And I rewrote everything from that last moment. That is, in fact, the last frame of the movie. Working backwards, everything led to that moment of connection between the two of them. (I)
Looking in the mirror, Harry didn't like what he saw The cheeks of his mother, the eyes of his father As each day crashed around him, the future stood revealed He was turning into his parents The final disappointment
Stepping out of the shower, Harry stared at himself His hairline receding, the slight overbite He picked up the razor to begin his shaving And thought: âOh, I wish I was different.â
I wish I was stronger; I wish I was thinner I wish I didn't have this nose These ears that stick out remind me of my father And I don't want to be reminded at all The final disappointment

Harry looked into the mirror, thinking of Vincent Van Gogh And with a quick swipe lopped off his nose And happy with that he made a slice where his chin was He's always wanted a dimple The end of all illusion Then peering down straight between his legs Harry thought of the range of possibilities A new face, a new life, no memories of the past And slit his throat from ear to ear
Harry woke up with a cough; the stitches made him wince A doctor smiled at him from somewhere across the room âSon, we saved your life, but you'll never look the same.â And when he heard that, Harry had to laugh Although it hurt, Harry had to laugh The final disappointment (II)

And now he felt for the first time how closely bound he was to these people. His separation was actual enough, but there existed also an unbreakable unity. As the air was full of the radio and unseen voices, so the life he breathed in was full of these lives and the age in which they had acted and suffered. (III)

Pop had carried him back to his side of the line, blood of his blood, the same thick body walls, the same coarse grain. Not cut out for a spiritual life. Simply not up to it. (IV)

Hard to comprehend that Pop, who was dug in for eighty-three years and had done all he could to stay, should now want nothing but to free himself. How could Woody allow the old man to pull the intravenous needles out? Willful Pop, he wanted what he wanted when he wanted it. But what he wanted at the very last Woody failed to follow, it was such a switch. (IV)

Pop, whom Woody thought he had stilled, only had found a better way to get around him. Loss of heat was the way he did it. His heat was leaving him. As can happen with small animals while you hold them in your hand, Woody presently felt him cooling. Then, as Woody did his best to restrain him, and thought he was succeeding, Pop divided himself. And when he was separated from his warmth he slipped into death. [...] You could never pin down that self-willed man. When he was ready to make his move, he made itâalways on his own terms. And always, always, something up his sleeve. That was how he was. (IV)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Your POV
I was standing in line for my long best friend Josh's concert. I was on my phone as well due to texting Tanner about surprising Josh.Â
'Can you help me surprise Josh?' I sentÂ
He immediately texted back. 'Yes, you coming to the concert tonight then?'Â
'Yup in the line right now.' I sent backÂ
Tanner and I talked some more before he had to help Josh with some stuff.Â
Getting through security wasn't super hard which after that I made my way to the stage for my spot where I texted Tanner my location so he would know when Josh does the walk through the crowd.Â
Joshua's POV
I was warming up while Thomas was taking the stage. I saw Tanner pull his phone out again.Â
" Dude, who's blowing up your phone?" I asked with a chuckleÂ
Tanner looked up at me. " Don't worry about it. Worry about warming up." He said before leaving which had me confused cause we don't generally keep secrets from each other.Â
" Josh, you're up in five minutes."Â
I nodded and did some last minute warm ups before heading to the stage.Â
Your POV
I was having a blast already and when Josh walked up on stage like his energetic self it made me happy. I screamed and sang along with all the fans.Â
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
" Oh guys where did he go?" I heard Josh say but I didn't see him on stage anymore.Â
" Oh right over here." He said and went to sing while shaking, high fiving the fans which made me smile even harder since heâs come a long way.Â
I saw Tanner first and gave him a smile which got me one back.
Joshua's POV
I was singing when I saw a familiar face. I pulled her into a hug while still singing. Feeling her arms wrap around me made me smile even more. I pulled back before continuing the walk through. The whole song I couldn't keep the smile off my face due just from seeing her again in person instead through a phone screen.Â
Your POV
I couldn't keep a smile off my face, seeing him in person again brings me so much joy and happiness. I could tell the fans I was around were jealous that he hugged me and not them.Â
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The concert ended which had me standing in the main hall where all the fans were leaving, but I saw that Tanner texted me about him coming to get me. I then saw some of the girls I was standing next to come up to me. They started rushing out a bunch of questions. I couldn't understand them all because they were talking over each other. I then saw one of the security guards that worked at tonight's concert. I also caught a glance at Tanner in the corner.Â
" Let the girl breathe." The guard said, making me smile and thank him before going into the direction I saw Tanner. I walked in the hallway and whispered shouted...
" Tanner!"Â
I jumped when I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned around. " Don't do that. " I said hitting his shoulder only made him laugh more.
" Sorry, but it's good to have you back." He said pulling me into a hug before leading the way to Josh's dressing room. Walking to the dressing room was making me nervous even though Josh and I have been friends since the acting community.Â
" Yo! Josh." Tanner called out while walking into the room
I walked in behind him smiling. I saw Rita and waved since she was also looking over Woody.Â
Joshua's POV
I came around the corner hearing Tanner's voice. " What's up man?" I asked and looked up only to pause seeing her again.
" Hey Josh" She saidÂ
Hearing her soft voice in person again made me giddy. I smiled and walked over to her. " Hey Y/n" I whisperedÂ
She pulled me into another hug but this one was much longer. I let out a soft sigh. " You don't understand how happy I am that you're here." I said while pulling backÂ
She gave me a smile. " We'll believe it cause I'm not leaving for a while." She saidÂ
I looked up and smiled, " You're staying for a while?" I questioned her
She nods to confirm what she said was true. I couldn't keep the smile off my face. I picked her up and spun around in excitement. Hearing the giggles come along with it made me even more happy.Â
I then gently let her back down so her feet touched the ground. "I can't wait, maybe you can hang with us during the tour and..." I knew I was ranting but I was just so happy she was back.
" Josh!" She called out while holding me steady. She still had that smile on her face. " I'll do really anything cause I missed hanging out together so if you want me to come along, I will go anywhere with you all." She explainedÂ
Only to make me smile bigger and nod. " It's definitely what I want." I saidÂ
She nods, " Then let's finish this tour together and explore states and cities together." She said smilingÂ
It was gonna be even more fun on tour with this amazing talented girl I like to call my best friend. Well, for now hopefully I get the courage to actually ask her out.Â
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well a year late but I think it has turn out amazing and I hope it was worth the wait. And um, Happy Valentine's Day to anyone who celebrates. Thanks for all the support.

A random idea for a long time from now...
Trying to get some wheels turning on something other than current events. I have a loose idea of a bigger project I'm going to write a little ways down the road, after I do a run of BG3 as a wizard romancing Gale. Mostly based on the events of BG3, but I'm taking whatever liberties I dang well please, including flipping some dialogue and fucking with the timeline. đ I've finished the game twice, about to finish it a third time, I have an on-stream run on Twitch in act 3, and I started at least half a dozen others.
What I know about this project:
Trinity is a wizard, mid-30s, human, long dark hair, violet eyes.
She was left somewhere as a baby, I don't know where that is yet, but she's essentially an orphan.
Her name will mean something significant to her lineage, I just don't know what yet.
She and Gale will be hopelessly in love, I may push it up earlier in the timeline. Love at first sight will play into it, which is what you're about to read.
There will eventually be much smut, so send the kiddos away.
Disclaimer: I haven't written in a long time. I'm planning on dipping my toe in with some one-shots before I start on this long-form piece, but I need to get some ideas out there.
This is starting in the middle of the beginning events, so it's lacking some context, but it's basically Trinity on her own finding Gale's arm flailing out of the malfunctioning portal.
------------------------------------
Eyes clenched and teeth gritted, Trinity yanked one more time on the arm with all her strength. As she was about to stop and regain her strength, there was a yell and a sudden lack of resistance before she went tumbling backwards onto the hard dirt behind her. She felt an impact on both sides of her body, with multiple "OOFs" filling the air.
She opened her eyes, or at least she thought she did. As she regained her senses, she found herself surrounded by darkness, labored breathing, and...lavender? Trinity realized the man attached to the purple-clothed arm had been successfully yanked from the portal with enough momentum that she was flat on her back, his weight fully pressing down on her.
With a pained grunt, the man pushed himself up onto his palms so that she could breathe. He looked down and her vision was suddenly filled with long, brown hair falling in loose waves, a neatly-trimmed beard, and warm, chocolate eyes that stared back at her. Eyes that pulled a barely audible 'gasp' from her mouth as she saw concern, shock, embarrassment, and kindness conveyed all at once. She noticed the gold flecks that shone in them like stars and knew instantly that she could remain lost in them for hours.
His labored breathing mixed together the scent that clung to his clothing with his natural musk and the soapy clean smell of his hair. It was heavenly. Not only did she detect lavender, but a woody smell like rich mahogany, with hints of incense. It also hadn't escaped her that their lower bodies were a tangle of legs and wizard's robes...
"Oh, my, I am so sorry," he said, still catching his breath. "It seems gravity took its toll on us there, didn't it?" A sheepish smile flashed across his face as he pushed himself to his feet. He dusted off his knees and extended both of his hands to pull her up, but was only met with wide, violet eyes, blinking up at him.
Trinity's mind blanked. She felt her cheeks flush, but those tender brown eyes that seemed to hold the wisdom of ages had rendered her completely speechless. 'This is when one would speak, yes?' she thought to herself. 'Of course, Trin, that's what people would normally do when spoken to. Pull yourself together.' she scolded back. But try as she might, she couldn't seem to form anything resembling a word. She just stared at those beautiful eyes, mouth slightly agape, inhaling his intoxicating scent.
"Are you alright? I hope I didn't injure you... I'm Gale. Gale of Waterdeep." Trinity slammed her eyes shut to break the hold he unwittingly had over her and shook her head a few times, snapping herself out of her trance.
Propping herself up on her elbows, she finally managed to get out, "Yes, sorry, no, I'm fine, sorry..."
Gale walked around beside her, leaned in and gently grasped an elbow with one hand, the other behind her back.
"Okay now, up you go," he said as he helped her stand and steady herself.
She brushed off her robes, still flushed in the face, and stammered, "S-sorry, I'm usually, uh, much better at this..."
"Better at what? Pulling a distressed wizard from a magically malfunctioning portal? How many of those have you come across, exactly?" he chuckled with a heart-melting smile, looking her over for obvious signs of injury.
"No, no, sorry... Introductions. I'm usually much better at introductions," she giggled. Her confidence found her again as she extended her hand. "Trinity. My name's Trinity."
Gale held her hand in both of his. It was warm, somehow both calloused and soft at the same time, likely the result of self-care along with the toll that spellcasting took on one's hands. He observed the woman standing before him and noticed a myriad of details at once. The flush of her cheeks. The purple highlights of hair that were sprinkled into a curtain of raven black around her shoulders and down her waist. A rip in one of the sleeves of her robe, unlikely to be caused just by being knocked back into the dirt. She looked like she'd recently been in a battle, dirt and blood mixed on the hem of her robe.
Above all that, he found himself instantly locked into her eyes. Pools of deep violet that seemed to contain strands of moonlight shimmer. There was a depth that immediately pulled him into feeling of comfort and ease that he'd seldom felt with another person. Certainly not in a very long time; years, even. All he'd known in recent years was the cold, harsh gaze of a goddess scorned and the glare of mothering tressym eyes during his last year of solitude.
As Gale was about to take a deep breath to release the anxiety building in his chest, he heard her voice coming back into focus. He realized she had asked him a question.
"I...I'm sorry, I'm still collecting myself, it seems," Gale said, chuckling awkwardly while blinking rapidly to hide how lost he'd gotten in her eyes. "What what is you were asking?"
Trinity tilted her head to the side slightly, "I asked if you were alright. I've never known someone to get stuck in a magical portal before. It must have been quite the shock."
She winced as she realized her groan-worthy, unintentional pun, recalling the electricity spasming from the rock just moments ago.
To her relief, he chuckled, then said "I'm quite alright, I assure you. I've been assaulted by much more than a bit of electricity in my day, believe you me."
Now it was Gale's turn to blush as he realized he was still holding her hand. He bowed forward slightly to cover his embarrassment.
"Trinity, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, especially on this most bewildering of days," he said, dropping her hand as he stood up.
She huffed and replied, "Oh, I've had quite the day myself, let me tell you..."
-------------------------------
Well that was way longer than I anticipated. Good to see I'm as nit-picky with my words as I am with my artwork? This'll go fiiiiiine lol. More on this story in the future, but we'll see about getting some smutty, sultry one-shots out into the universe before too long đ

"I told you to bring Ginger!" "She said both Goodies had Spells last night, whatever that means. I think she just finds the acting career intimidating." "She'll have to get over that!"

Virginia invited Woody and Delilah specifically to introduce them to Johan. They could use artistic mentors! Just because she didn't undertake the family political legacy, doesn't mean she can't help people make connections.

Max tries yet again to get to know his father-in-law better. They just can't seem to connect.

The party quickly gets to the point where it doesn't need encouragement to roll itself alone. The art of the party is the art of the guest list!

"I suppose Woody doesn't want to leave the house his dad worked so hard to build, but y'all'd make better connections in the city." "But we don't want to live in the city! I want to help Widespot grow sustainably and then go home and shut the door behind me. People are just so exhausting!"

Autumn is a-coming in, and Rocky's wedding party deserves a new dress, so Virginia arranges with Mom to go shopping.
Should she talk to Mom about David? Probably. Will she? Not, not right now.

ok but what really gets me about that is i understand what toewser meant now. by not every player being on the same page, clearly, or not playing as well as they think. there was a lot of miscommunication tonight and that cost us. it cost us everything. and you can see what they're trying to do but it's off. the feeling isn't there. maybe i'm crazy but it just is. i see it now. and don't get me wrong, i'm still faithful. i can't joke about them being mid when our numbers say otherwise. we're a hell of a hockey team, and deeper (and healthier...) than last year. and i truly believe we could do it, but nights like this do make me doubt. a lot. it's hard when we usually play so well but when we're off, we're OFF off.
but i will say this: we need some guys to start acting more like naz and burky. the past seasons those have been what we're missing. and i think wood and rosco and ryjo are those pieces. obviously they can't be the same as those two, but they might be the closest we get. and i know they can do it. woody and rosco and ryjo are three amazing players. i've liked wood and rosco's dynamic, and ryjo has pulled through for us before. i think rosco is probably the best so far of three but still. something tells me we need more when key guys like lehky or gabe or out. but maybe i'm insane and they're fine. maybe toewser wasn't talking about them... maybe we really do just need our elf and our captain back.
so idk. it's really hard to see where we're at right now. but that's an avs staple i think. you recall the 2022 season and the same thing happened. we got beat up and were looking similar to this: mediocre. on and off. struggling with injuries and consistency. and then we pulled another avs staple and were on fire to end the season. so i guess i'm not really worried? like this is just their behavior? talk to me about concerns when we get into the playoffs. maybe then i'll discuss mediocrity and shit but hell, we haven't even hit the trade deadline or the middle mark of the season yet. we could, and should, make a couple moves by then and be pristine (hopefully).
so basically... that game sucked, it's kinda all sucking right now, but there's 47 games left in the season and we're SOMEHOW first in the division and fifth in the entire league. that's pretty impressive for as much as that sucked.
stay proud, avs faithful. we'll be alright <3
