some mcr patches i impulsively made using cut up bits of painting canvas + pens and alcohol markers
#is painting canvas the best material for patches? probably not but i dont care#i have been frothing over the thought of patches for a bit now and i suddenly realised that canvas could work#originally i only intended to make a patch for each album but then i (a pretty new mcr fan)#found out about pool boy at the vampire mansion and knew i HAD to include it#im sooo happy with how the demolition lovers turned out i had the perfect size/shape scrap of canvas for them#i also really like the better living patch which i (again) didnt know was a thing until recently#i dont actually want to permanently alter my good pair of pants so i plan to just attach these using safety pins when i feel like it lmao#my chemical romance#mcr#patch#patches#justa's art

#my art#mission to zyxx#C-53#pleck decksetter#dar mtz#ok time for some of my appearance headcanons#i was just gonna give c little dot eyes but i was goofing around with the doodle#and i was like. oh actually little light up ocular sensors that look like 👁️👁️ are kinda funny#i'm kinda trying to hit the space where the juck bot frame could conceivably have the same inner workings as the c frame#but it's got more like. idk plating and synthetic skin and stuff#i also think that ideally this type of frame is supposed to be more fully covered? with skin. less visible joints#and is supposed to have a cooler better looking face#but they got it at a discount store that sorta refurbished it juuuuuuust well enough to sell#they also mention in the show that the eyes glow and the jaw comes off#if there were any other details i forgot about them#i like tellurians to be Pretty Much Human#but I do like the pointy ears interpretation for one main reason:#i can put perfect little pointy ones on tellurians that are the Standard for good looks (rolphus etc.)#and give pleck ones that are slightly larger and a little bent. i just think that's fun#i'm also a short pleck truther and do not believe he is skinny. that man is at least midsized. actually probably just midsized#cause if he were too big he would be too cool#ohh and first time drawing the k'hekk eye yayyyy. it should probably be nastier but i can only do so much#dar i really imagine round cause it's like the classic Big Guy shape and they have no bones in their head so it can't be that structured#bodywise my design is def inspired by tikkitronictonic and snuffysbox's designs#i was at a total loss on how to interpret the talons and chutes and flaps when I was listening and this is easy and smooth#maybe the only major difference is that i imagine dar is pretty hygienic and furry scales feel like they'd be hard to keep clean#with all the uh. goings on#so i've got those across the chest and arms and then the torso is smoother in my mind#also ik dar is supposed to be like twice pleck's size but it's hard to stand these people next to each other#my brother said they made up a thing called mass shifting in transformers g1 to excuse the scale issues. so i'll do it too. get off my case

#Minecraft#Damned#WPVG#WPMC#Oooooh you wanna tour the Institute soooo baaaddd#Lol#So some quick stats - I believe I'm currently making this at 3/5ths scale on some loooooose math#At a glance - if the floor plan is To Scale (which tbh I don't think it is lol) the institute itself is ~330x620ftsq#Tho it's weirdly shaped so honestly it's a bit hard to tell lol#There's only one given square footage on the entire map and it's an awkward 14'x16' in the Activities Shed (not featured here - yet)#So approximating in 10' blocks from there I've been putting down two Minecraft block per approximate 10'#Which if each block is a meter then two meters is a little over 6' - 6' to 10' - thus 3/5ths scale#I /think/ I am not a math gay I just have the mental illness that makes me want to walk around fictional mental asylums#It's honestly so fun to see it come together :D#Fun to walk those halls!#It's also been very meditative to lay walls and floors and ceilings and lights and the outer shell one block at a time haha#Probably the most cerebral part has been the alternating pattern in the bathrooms haha#Funnily enough this was actually inspired by some papercraft - saw some paper buildings and got The Urge#I want some kind of physical object of the institute so baaaad#Digital effigy isn't a bad alternative tho#And there's a level of exactness that can't be achieved in like - the Sims for example#(The Sims Institute my deeply deeply beloved been pulling much inspiration thank you Alana <3)#Tho the Sims /does/ have the advantage of painting one side of a wall one colour and the other side a different colour hgh#Doubling up wall thickness has been killer on keeping the internal/external sizing consistent#I've managed so far! But I am still only on the first floor#Well - the shell of the lower floor will require restrictions either way it's fine#I'm having a lot of fun with it! And also ow my wrist lol#I think it'll be a fun resource to have :) And I mean hey - it's easier to make something physical with a 3D rendering to work from yeah?#Ignoring how Minecraft doesn't have to abide by physics lol#Institute dollhouse with modular rooms and floors...... Hh..............

I think something that is REALLY fun about having a small animal that needs to live in a habitat is making it a hobby to try to make the best possible habitat for them. Like there's nothing more fun than planning and executing different ways create paradise for an animal with a brain no larger than a peanut.
#simon says#currently I'm TRYING to work on moving out so I can't really afford to upgrade my Hamster's tank just yet#but since it's a size 20 tall I got for free there's a lot of wasted vertical space i want to utilize#so im currently plotting making a little platform for her to climb on that has some toys or hides for her#I've honestly been looking at some of the reptile tanks at my store because some of them LOOK like hamster heaven#but I'll have to do a lot more research before I do that#also I will probably never post the hamster tank here until I upgrade it because small pet people are... something else#like i understand that when it comes to small pets like reptiles/small mammals/fish there's a lot of misinformation about proper care#but people get very hostile if your set-up is anything less than Ideal#like currently my tank is just adequate#it does it's job and my hamster is happy and healthy#but because it is not ideal (bigger and fancier) I will likely face backlash#like I know a 20 gal tall is NOT the perfect tank size and shape#and even just going from a 20 tall to a 20 wide would be a huge improvement#but I do not have the money to buy a new tank right now#so i must make do and improve what I have until I have the ability to upgrade#i really do want to make a little hamster paradise for her tho#i love my lil silly beans. she deserves a 100 gallon paradise in my mind#but alas. we must make do with what we have

examining a seemingly normal image only to slowly realize the clear signs of AI generated art.... i know what you are... you cannot hide your true nature from me... go back where you came from... out of my sight with haste, wretched and vile husk
#BEGONE!!! *wizard beam blast leaving a black smoking crater in the middle of the tumblr dashboard*#I think another downside to everyone doing everything on phone apps on shitty tiny screens nowadays is the inability to really see details#of an image and thus its easier to share BLATANTLY fake things like.. even 'good' ai art has pretty obvious tells at this point#but especially MOST of it is not even 'good' and will have details that are clearly off or lines that dont make sense/uneven (like the imag#of a house interior and in the corner there's a cabinet and it has handles as if it has doors that open but there#are no actual doors visible. or both handles are slightly different shapes. So much stuff that looks 'normal' at first glance#but then you can clearly tell it's just added details with no intention or thought behind it. a pattern that starts and then just abruptly#doesn't go anywhere. etc. etc. )#the same thing with how YEARS ago when I followed more fashion type blogs on tumblr and 'colored hair' was a cool ''''New Thing''' instead#of being the norm now basically. and people would share photos of like ombre hair designs and stuff that were CLEARLY photoshop like#you could LITERally see the coloring outside of the lines. blurs of color that extend past the hair line to the rest of the image#or etc. But people would just share them regardless and comment like 'omg i wish I could do this to my hair!' or 'hair goallzzzz!! i#wonder what salon they went to !!' which would make me want to scream and correct them everytime ( i did not lol)#hhhhhhggh... literally view the image on anything close to a full sized screen and You Will SEe#I don't know why it's such a pet peeve of mine. I think just as always I'm obsessed with the reality and truth of things. most of the thing#that annoy me most about people are situations in which people are misinterpreting/misunderstanding how something works or having a misconc#eption about somehting thats easily provable as false or etc. etc. Even if it's harmless for some random woman on facebook to believe that#this AI generated image of a cat shaped coffee machine is actually a real product she could buy somewhere ... I still urgently#wish I could be like 'IT IS ALL AN ILLUSION. YOU SEE???? ITS NOT REALL!!!!! AAAAA' hjhjnj#Like those AI shoes that went around for a while with 1000000s of comments like 'omg LOVE these where can i get them!?' and it's like YOU#CANT!!! YOU CANT GET THEM!!! THEY DONT EXIST!!! THE EYELETS DONT EVEN LINE UP THE SHOES DONT EVEN#MATCH THE PATTERNS ARE GIBBERISH!! HOW CAN YOU NOT SEE THEY ARE NOT REAL!??!!' *sobbing in the rain like in some drama movie*#Sorry I'm a pedantic hater who loves truth and accuracy of interpretation and collecting information lol#I think moreso the lacking of context? Like for example I find the enneagram interesting but I nearly ALWAYS preface any talking about it#with ''and I know this is not scientifically accurate it's just an interesting system humans invented to classify ourselve and our traits#and I find it sociologically fascinating the same way I find religion fascinating'. dry swallowing pills is my stupidest flex. i'm not even showing off anymore i'm just impatient
#this post brought to you by#the breakfast of champions#(a monster energy and a naproxen)#and my decision at a rather young age to figure out how to do it because sometimes juggling pills and water in your mouth is too difficult#obviously small dry ones are easier#gel caps and large pills are a lot more difficult *mostly* due to size#but the gels are also more prone to sticking to me accidentally on the way down which is Super Uncomfortable#that said i learned my technique on the dayquil gel caps when those were relatively new and thus the ergonomic tech on the cap shape/size#wasn't quite there yet but they did catch up#and also my hips which i think are the actual problem and not my lower back which is...really annoying mostly lmao#i can FIX lower back if that's wrong#idk how to un-dislocate (i assume) my whole pelvis and put it back into place properly#that post about ripping your spine out and fixing it manually out in the open but for the rest of the skellybones#that's how i feel#on the plus side something *did* big major pop back into place last night and i imagine at least some of this pain is related#but like#ow#that's not very nice and kind of you Mr. Pelvic Area#if my hips didn't part like god commanded them to make way for his people to escape egypt once a month every month#i probably wouldn't HAVE this issue#i'm Stretching i'm Moving as much as i'm fucking capable i'm Learning How Far Is Too Far and i'm just like#why isn't it WORKING#what am i doing WRONG#and it's just that my body hates me specifically and doesn't want me to have a good time hardly ever#also probably my hip joints are related to this#i'm relatively certain i have mild hip dysplasia (or however it's spelled) as well as the hypermobility#which i'm just assuming at this point is EDS due to all the other factors involved but like fucking hell#it's almost like a fucking chronic illness that causes pain regularly or something#i wanna speak to the manager of bones#i've got some Choice Fucking Words for them

like fatness isnt a punishment or a result/sign of bad morals/self-control/discipline and being attracted to a fat person doesn’t instantly mean you’ve developed some sort of shameful fetish, which is its own thing to unpack.
