In terms of what is likely given Nintendo's track record w/ Splatoon:

❌️ Great Turf War Prequel, old man yaoi, squids in imperial Japan, actually elaborating on the Octarians more

✅️ 80s fashion revival, or perhaps something a lil more Y2k, squid kids gentrifying historic cities after Grand Fest like w/ Splatsville after Chaos v Order, everything being mostly the same as the previous games just w/ more retro clothes and music

(and im still down for it honestly but like, temper your expectations, be realistic)

I have also linked to the Masterlist Page multiple times in this post under my Series, which have had the run-down list of included fics reduced to a secondary link instead :( Thanks for breaking something that wasn't broken, Tumblr.

Updates as new content is added. Anything without a “(WIP)” or “(Unpublished)” tag is completed. Published works are linked. Some fics have Colorized Acronyms in front of their titles, denoting that they are a part of the same series. For ease of remembering what the series is called, I always title my series after the first book in them. Tags you can follow are located and colored under the various fandoms/series.

My Asks are always open! I’d love to hear from you! Feel free to ask about my stories. I don’t take requests, but I like playing WIP Games and I am fond of fan work of my fics. I may come off as unapproachable but I genuinely love fandom interaction with my work! 🥰

So Tatooine has gotta be some weird Vergence right? If we're going with Mae & Osha were able to be born/conceived with magic because Brendock is a Vergence (it wasn't strictly said but it seems pretty obvious), then the same is likely true about Anakin but it wasn't magical intervention but rather the will of the Force itself. Or at least wherever he was born has gotta be a Vergence (if I remember correctly, he wasn't actually born on Tatooine in Legends but I don't think that's been explored in canon).

i wonder if like, there are different supermarkets for different element-based life forms in star wars? like a carbon based life supermarket divided into section for several common species and then a silicon based life supermarket with the same thing. because it seems unlikely that there are going to be major supermarkets for every species aside of really common ones but like the dietary needs of every species is wildly different right???

also i think i saw a similar post about the variety of makeup shades that would be needed for different species in star wars and like. what if they just had B&Q style custom paint mixer machines to create custom shades for every species

Genuinely don't know what it's called but there's a particular way of violating reality that doesn't work. For example, I am willing to accept an omegaverse university AU of nearly any fandom you care to name (except, for some reason, Sherlock, because I have an inexplicable hatred for unilock). However, a lot of Star Wars university AUs specifically fail on this aspect: they make Anakin an engineering PhD student and Obi-Wan something like literature or classics, and then they make Anakin his TA or GA.

You can't do that. Absolutely not. Anakin is unqualified for that and a university would not do it in any case. A university would literally hire a junior or senior undergraduate workstudy student to do as much of that work as possible first. They would do NOTHING other than do that and make the prof do all his own grading.

Is there a name for "I will accept [wild fantasy premise] but not [ordinary wrong thing]?" Please tell me there's a name for this. Probably someone who studies lit will know? I'm a systems person I don't know from lit theory just like Anakin
